This is a very informative post about how cafes run in Delhi majorly and then India yes or may be from person to person but Cafe Red in Shahpur Jat is surly making a lot of money or the staff is having a good time Starting with the food that not really recommend , coming to the service they think it's okay to just charge people for ' Service charge ' instead of asking , okay taken they served us , what if it was bad food , we'll not go there again To my delight they don't consider a change of INR 7 to be a change worth returning as they never had change , they never thought to inform or ask me but they just kept it So if 100 walk in @ day and trust me they have really good Walk ins and a tentative change which they just keep is of INR 5 on an average that makes it INR 500 per day 500 x 30 = INR 15,000 per month and 1,80,000 a year of tax free income ! #CafeRed #ShahpurJat #NewDelhi

I want to give them a little more than 4 stars. Although the menu implies that they mostly offer Pizzas, pastas and other Italian dishes, we decided to orderone of their main course meals which comprised of Chicken breast served it Spanish sauce and mashed potatoes. They did a very good job with that. We also ordered a pizza and I was not disappointed. It was thin crist pizza with no excessive oil/butter on the base. They take time to bring you the food but that is because they do it well. The Cafe Mocha was not upto the mark. It was sweeter than most people would like their mocha to be. I think the prices are justified given how spacious and nice the place is.

A nice cafe hidden in the narrow lanes of Shahpur Jat. The place is spacious and has outdoor as well as indoor seating. Serves primarily fast food like Pizza, Burgers, Pasta etc. But the range of dishes available is wide and most of them are very reasonably priced and tasty. Staff is friendly and approachable, but the service is on the slower side. Wish they could speed that up. A must visit place to take a break from the hum drum of South Delhi. Food and ambience will delight you for sure!! Recommended

One of the best cafes (out of the very few ones) in Shahpur Jat. Located at the Dada Jungi House lane. Serves continental food with a variety of shakes, pizzas, burgers, etc. Be warned that the service is extremely slow. Even if you order something as easy and fast to be cooked as Maggi, they'll easily take atleast 30 minutes. Other than that, they should definitely work upon the cleanliness of the cafe. Food is great though and value for money.

Cafe Red situated in the narrow lanes of Dada Jungi Lane this place has quite excelled for small meetups or for a cup of coffee or to brunch some snacks. It's the only decent place in that area. The guys working there are too coordinated and are always up for help. They have some amazing Cappucino, Chicken Pizza, Masala Maggi & Lemonade and most importantly they have some amazing Chicken Salad, just there burgers are not recommended.

I often go to Cafe Red in Gurgaon so kind of decided to visit here as well. What I really liked about the place was the whole ambience and the peace it provided. The way cafes are so full these days, there are hardly any of those left that provide you a kind of quiet time with yourself. I think that's what this place did for me. And that's what it'll do to you. Go, get yourself a cup of coffee at Cafe Red.

Buried in an obscure corner of Shahpur Jat, the spacious Café Red is a pleasant surprise. Red actually stands for- Read, Eat and Drink. The look and feel is very minimalistic and mostly done in RED. The menu is quite diverse and one can stop here for a while after their shopping spree around Shahpur Jat. Or simply to hang around with friends. Definitely worth visiting!

Liked the simplicity of this cafe. Good food in good ambience! Ordered Chef Special Rivoli Cheese homemade pasta. One of the best rivoli I had. It was super fresh and melt in the mouth. The sauce was perfectly done for the texture. However I found their pricing on the higher side and not at all as per the quantity and ambience they offer.

A decent coffee shop to visit in Shahpur Jat. I tried their cappuccino and omelette. Both of them were good. The passage that leads to this cafe is also beautiful

It is beautiful cosy cafe in Shahpur Jat surrounded by designer shops....the cafe ticks all the marks in terms of interiors and ambience ....exposed brick wall types....the place has good food and coffee and pretty reasonable as well....we had some cold coffee, cappuccino and French fries....and they were good....

This place is in street which would be only be used by localite, had not this been a wastefully hyped place called shahpur just. Cafe is nice and relaxed. Food looks okay, and coffee is flat, don't ask for express, you will not be very happy with it Ratatoulie is okay. But expensive. Hope have a good time.

Amazing place in the middle of hustle n bustle. Loved their veg stuffed omelette, red sauce pasta and three cheese lasagne absolutely yum

Visited this place last week for a meeting so it’s beautiful place and I liked their coffee ☕️ . we have also tried yummy snacks . Even cookies was good . So good for short business hangouts or you can find very decent space work over a hot/cold coffee and sandwiches that they offer .

Nice and perfect beat cafe in shahpur jat and is the only one to serve you free chilled water with a single seat in hot summer when others so called designers do not even care to ask for a glass of water when you enter their shops which they highlight as big fashion designer studios

Perhaps it was Sunday and therefore it was unusually quiet or covid has made us sit up and take notice. The cafe has it's own charm but could be done up a little more. I loved the walk down the corridor and the best part, it has a little outside seating area and furries are allowed.

Great place to go and chill with your friends. they have board games like Scrabble, monopoly.. they even have UNO.. the food is really good and quite economical. They have an outside seating area as well which is equally good and the ambience is supported by their amazing playlist.

Read. Eat. Drink; this café is located in the Dada Jungi House. The interiors complement the name very well, with red walls, red cushions, red boards, basically everything red. They serve some amazing coffee and the menu is quite good and so is the food.

It's a nice place to just hang out play some games like Scrabbles and Jenga which they provide also the food is great. I loved the coffee they served specially mocha. The interior is nice and they have different sections for seating arrangements.

Visited today after pandemic. Used to be good but today I was dissappointed. Told the waiter that the food was burnt and he said nothing and left. Repeated my complaint when he came to give the bill and he didn't acknowledge it. Not coming back.

Is there any possibilities give 0 star? Today is my third visit in Cafe Red, Shahpur jatt and everytime I'm equally disappointed by the food. So the food is worst and tea is also too bad. Suggestions to all never try anything in Cafe Red.

The crowd is neat. And comfortable cafe with easy quite bites options in and around this place. We ordered for peach ice tea and sandwich.it took them more than half an hour to serve it. But. Patience is a good virtue.

This place has been my team's the place to go for lunch on birthdays as the service is quick and the taste of all the dishes is tried and tested. The ambience is better than what one can expect in Shahpur Jat.

A delicious menu. The pastas here are the best. The service might get a little slow, but it's worth the wait. and while you are waiting you can play a game of jenga or read a book from their open library.

Walk to Jungi house lane and it's right there. You reach via a narrow lane - which is actually done neatly. Very comfy, food is great. You can actually plonk yourself for hours, play some board games.

Great place to rest and eat after a tiring day in the designer hubs of shahpur jat. Great food and service as well. The only thing bad was that they served us our drinks in broken Mason jars.
