I came yesterday with a friend for lunch. It was my first time. It was my last time, too. I was thoroughly disappointed that a supposedly upscale restaurant could take more than one and half hours to prepare food for the two of us. After 30 minutes, the appetiser of simple salad and prawns came. Then, after an hour, the main dish could not be served, forcing my friend and I to pay for the salad and water and walk away. Your food is pricy. The services are supposed to be quick. They're weren't. The restaurant was noisy, probably because of the small space. There was a little bit of insect problem. It is unfortunate that my expectations were dashed. I'd like to suggest that management looks into these shortfalls and looks for a bigger space with faster services to grow this business. I like the concept. But you need to up your ante.

Too choked. The space could only take a few vehicles. Others had to park on Ajose Adeogun Road. There are serious space constraints both for parking of vehicles and the restaurant itself.

Small, boutique eat-out spot that started out as a breakfast lounge. I almost cannot believe I haven't reviewed this place before now, judging by the number of times I've visited. The sitting area is actually small, so they added chairs to the back, now they've enclosed that back area with glass, giving it a bit more classy look. Parking may be a challenge during peak periods. I can go all day on their milk teas, please try any of the milk tea variants with the lovely lovely tapioca bubbles. The experience is second to none. I also commend the speed of service and how personal each waiter seems to be. I believe they're now operational even through the night, so drop by when you can.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The menu options were vast and fantastic (taste, presentation, texture, variance...) from food to drinks. Didn't get to try any of the alcoholic beverage this time, but for sure next time I visit. For the food and other service, their costing is GOOD. It's also a really cute place. Yes the reviews about the small space are true, although I think it lends to the overall quaintness of the place (besides the space probably being all they could get, lol). So, yeah, it could be a 'hope you get lucky' type of situation a lot of the time. Can't wait to go again!! Also since they didn’t have the bubbles and tapioca this time as well.

Ok, so a friend and decided to meet up for Breakfast.I went on Google map and searched for Cafeteria, not bearing this place in mind. I was just looking for a place for a good breakfast and this was the 2nd closest to our proximity which is within the Heartland of VI. It wasn't difficult to locate and it was in a beautiful serene environment. Let's say a hidden gem. We actually ended up spending more time than we planned because it was so calm, nice wake up call spirit and an overall warming decor. It was a bubbly time. PS: Avoid the Strawberry Milk tea. You can't stop once u start.... It's sooo good.

Absolutely loved the Ambiance of this place. It’s small and cute! I’m obsessed with the use of limited space. The space is small but they used it well! Advice, don’t go on Saturdays and Sundays. It was super busy, very crowded and the waiters struggled to meet up with orders in time. Our waiter was super kind, well dressed and he apologized for the delay and explained it was just rush hour (we went on a Sunday after church) . Erm, what else do I have to say? The lightning is so great! Plan to take cute Brunch pictures. Kudos to the sisters that own this business! I can see how much they are trying to make a difference. Ps : it’s not cheap in my opinion, it’s kinda expensive. It was worth every penny for me sha! I totally recommend.

I got the blueberry madness waffle and my friend got the blueberry french toast and a chicken and cheese melt. The blueberry madness was fine actually, wasn’t too bad even though like the sides were very small. My friend didn’t like the sauce used on the toast but she loved the chicken melt - she said it was delicious. The main problem actually was the flies, there were a lot of them that even during our dining, one of the waiters was sent to kill the flies with a fly swatter and i found that very displeasing especially because we were eating at the place. i ended up ordering a spicy chicken which was supposed to be crispy but ended up being like peppered chicken and i was charged extra for an option i wasn’t told even existed.

Cafeteria Nigeria is a nice cafe in Victoria Island, the ambience is really simple and neat. And it's definitely a breakfast lounge as most of the meals on the menu were breakfast related. The service was pretty good, the attendants were really great and very polite and professional. The best part of this Cafe is probably the drinks, well made and quite delicious. I was at the Cafe with my wife and a friend, we all complimented the drinks. The food was a different case, its possible we ordered the wrong type of meals but only my wife enjoyed her sandwich, my American breakfast, and berries and pancakes weren't really great. But in general I believe it a place I will love to visit again and try something else. Ambience ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Service ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Food ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Drinks ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ambience/Space: It’s a nice space, pretty small tho. But it’s very pretty and it’s great for pictures if you go during the day. Food: The food was delicious, I loved it. Their garlic bread is delicious, I don’t usually like sausages but theirs was so nice, the sandwich was great, the pancake was delicioussss. The Mac and cheese was also great. So yeah, nice food The Waitstaff: The entire staff were overwhelmed. I don’t know if it’s because of the festive season but it was a mess. Takes a while for someone to take your order, for the food to come and everything. Reservations : I don’t know if reservations will help. It was really full, people were waiting for others to finish eating so they could sit down. Again, it’s probably because I went during the festive season.

I can't give this place a complete rating simply because I didn't eat any food, I was passing through the area and had to be at a meeting. However I arrived around 810am Thursday morning and being from UK I immediately found a place that reminded me of the way a quality cafe would look. The music played adds to the decor, very classic but homely. What I did have was a vanilla milkshake that was thick enough to feel like a real milkshake but the straw provided ensured there was no difficulty drinking it. Delicious. Customer service is great. I promised Richard the waiter that I would return very soon to eat. As it's a 24 hour restaurant I will bring my laptop and do a day where I can experience morning, afternoon and evening meals so look out for part 2 review

  • Laju Tuedor

Loved it! Very polite and competent staff. Right from the security officer at the door, the hostess/host, the waiters/waitresses. They all displayed professionalism. The waitress that served my table had a very good understanding of the menu. She took our order with ease and didn't make any mistake. Food was great. Delicious and satisfying. Wish I took pictures, but couldn't wait to dig when the food arrived (oh, also, food arrived fast and it was still warm). Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Music wasn't too loud, so we could hold a conversation without having to shout. The decor is also nice - floral but not overpowering.

The place was backed on a Saturday morning and everyone was speaking quite loudly, I wondered why Food- my friend ordered the not so traditional English breakfast but they had issues with the pancake machine so the pancakes were replaced with Waffles The Eggs were made spicy and turned out really nice, and so was everything on his plate I had the Chicago Style Chicken and Waffle The Chicken was not as spicy or tasty as I like it, the Waffle was ok but I loved the Caramel Cuppacino. I ended up eating alot from my friends plate though Packing was a little tight but the security guys were available to help Over all, was a good breakfast experience

  • Triple smart Smart

Food tasted amazing! I had to ask who was in the kitchen because I was convinced it was African Americans. But the waiter said it was people from Togo! I was shocked. MAC and cheese is a must!!! Chicken Tacos were good. And the chicken and waffles. They should change the name to Lagos chicken and waffles for all of my American people. Ahaha. Service was okay. Had to call our waiter to get service after sitting. Wait for food was about 15-20 mins. Will eat here again or order for delivery.

Lovely brunch spot! Parking is available but limited. The entire space is small, seats are closely arranged so less privacy and interfering conversations. Ambience is lovely. Service is great, our waiter was efficient and food arrived early. They have a variety of options including vegetarian options. The food was just okay. The menu is unusual for me. They serve sweet and savoury food together. For example, pancakes with Nutella and strawberries are served alongside eggs, sausages, and bacon. I found that unusual, but hey, I guess the customers love it. We sat at the extension, and we had only one server attending to everyone. It seemed like he was overwhelmed at some point.

Cafeteria was very good. Had morning breakfast with my wife on our anniversary which was very classy. The meals were very good and a lot of options. The waiters were knowledgeable and caring enough to give the extra information or care needed at intervals. This is a very good place to take family and also loved ones of you don’t have kids. Very classy customer base which is good for networking. They have a car park inside and a degree of off street parking may be allowed. Only negative comment I have isn’t something serious so won’t ruin the very positive time we had at cafeteria. Will recommend to anyone.

  • Bim Fin

We had the Chicago Style Chicken and waffles and Boneless sweet chilli chicken and fries. The portion of the former is just okay while the portion of the latter is a lot and very filling. We also had the Caramel Vanilla iced bubble tea which was delicious and fantastic. The long island was intense. Loved it. The space is small and you can hear people's conversation like you're a part of it. Overall, it's a cool spot.

Breakfast all day! Fantastic for breakfast food. Food tastes great too. It took about 20 minutes to be made and served. The plating is nice. However, we sat outside and had a field day with flies. We had cutleries in one hand and the other hand to ward off flies from our food. This was tasking, disappointing and exhausting. Also, parking may be a hassle on a weekend as the car park is small and it’s peak period too. Customer service was okay. The waiter mixed up an order and took a while to rectify it. But did In the end. Staff was polite.

  • Ginikachi Okoro

it’s a small place but Great service and the food! Amiable staff, the manager even came round to ask how the experience was. This is the second time I’m here and I’ll be back… Fix the door of ur rest room. The door is too difficult to slide properly and I had to knock to be helped. Made mention to a staff the last time cos they had to come open from the outside. Today I came in again and in an attempt to open the door after using the restroom 2 of my acrylic nails broke off. Very painful experience. Please fix it!

Location and parking is great. Food was tasty and fresh and iced coffee Frappuccino was refreshing. I had initially given a 3 few months ago. But I had to come back and give a 5- I love when businesses improve based on criticism and strive to be the best. And this is what the owners of this restaurants have done. And so, I’d be giving a 5 now. The menu has greatly improved and is vast and still tasty, likewise staff management has improved. Kudos!

I have been meaning to come here but its always packed. Finally decided to go, there was a wait which was fine. Food took a while and service was slow and it was way before noon. Finally food came, I ordered the fresh berries and pancakes it came with eggs, sausage and bacon (which i didn’t have) and my partner had the prawn pesto melt which was amazing! Also had a Vanilla milkshake it tasted like blended ice cream lol I would go again maybe during the meet to avoid the hassle.

First of all Johnson was my waiter and that man Sabi. I went alone so I ate based on the waiter’s recommendation and it was amazing. The moment the water came with lemon, I knew the food is going to slap. I had the strawberry vanilla tea with Tapioca boba tea, tacos and strawberry waffle sundae. It was simply a blast. Their waffle soft is not struggling with the cutlery. The taste is scrumdelicious. I had an amazing time.

I and my friends only got drinks. The colada and long Island were nice but the sex on the beach needs to be worked on. They need more parking space. Was annoyed that I had to park by the parking lot of the bank next to them and the security guards there asked that I pay money. It really killed my vibe.

Cafeteria was a good experience for my friends and I overall. We did, however, observe that they may not be able to swiftly attend to a large crowd. I personally had the Sariya dish (Creamy corn on cobs with parmesean, southern fried chicken, garlic bread, and fries with spicy dressing) and grilled prawn as an additional side. In my opinion, the chicken was a tad bit dry.

It's okay, looks nice, and valet parking is encouraging, but I ordered a croissant and I noticed it was re-warmed I wasn't excited about that, especially for the price, one would expect to get fresh pastry, but even worse was a mould in it. Ofcourse I called their attention to it and it was taken out of my bill without drama.

The prices are fair, their portions are massive for the island, and they are consistently good at what they do. Curing booze filled late nights. They might be pricey to some, but for any joint open after 9 pm in Victoria Island, this is your best bet with the largest variety of meals.

A super tiny brunch restaurant drowning with customers in the middle of VI. Pat yourself on the back if you found parking and managed to get seated… now patiently wait for the waitstaff to notice you. Menu here is equally super busy for a space with a handful of chairs but surprisingly the Kitchen manages to deliver on the variety.

  • Oluwasolape

It was my first time there. The food was nice and I loved the ambience - aesthetically pleasing. The waiter was very nice and polite too. They need to improve on the food prep time. The meal that came the earliest took 39 minutes and mine took 50 minutes. I'd recommend anyway, don't go there while you're starving and be patient

Very decent place , the mac and cheese is probably the best I ever had . Everything looks appealing . There are many staff members and they all attentive, I just wish they were abit quicker .
