"Standard Caffè Nero - good coffee and plenty of sweet and/or savoury stuff to choose from"
"Popped into the Caffè Nero in Bristol as their coffee is really good but also this is a great location just across the road from the university"
Nice staff and lots of space but like Costa, Starbucks etc ridiculous prices e.g. £3.50 ish for a mug of hot chocolate topped with cream. I rarely go there these days. Branches vary but one in Hammersmith London would not open the ladies toilet even though the cafe was packed. This was one year ago ie Feb 2020. The man ( manager) was literally a big fat (middle aged) bully and was busy chatting up.a glamorous blonde customer while we all waited in the queue. I had bought food and drink but manager said i needed to buy stuff to use loo. Bristol Cabot Circus ok but I got put off due to a visit once where few customers but piles of dirty cups plates etc on most tables. I know it can get busy but... Some nice staff of course too
5 stars to being coffee shops to open on Boxing Day for those of us who very much appreciate such at this time. And 5 stars to the polite helpful labouring young (ish)man who was serving one after another of us in good order efficiently and patiently. Thanks very much. Queens Rd near the Triangle, Bristol. I have also found Caffe Nero coffee shops to be generally of a very good patient staff who are on their feet being pressed in tough days for us all and them. Along with one or two others I seek out their places where I go about.

Standard Caffè Nero - good coffee and plenty of sweet and/or savoury stuff to choose from. Slightly spoiled by the lack of cups (only takeaway containers) and the leaking aircon unit dripping water into a tray behind us. The bucket was sent flying twice tipping water onto the floor but staff were too busy to properly deal with it ...

Popped into the Caffè Nero in Bristol as their coffee is really good but also this is a great location just across the road from the university. Really friendly staff and loads of seating at the back and front of the shop. Also window seating to drink your coffee at and watch the world go by. Serves a selection of sandwiches, cakes etc and hot beverages

I came in at lunchtime today, the busiest time of the day and I am full of admiration for the way the team worked! Efficiently, expertly and with enthusiasm. I congratulate Megan and all the team on their polite and professional style. There’s a great verve in this place and I feel so comfortable here! Five stars!!!

A large cafe close to the university. There are plenty of tables and comfortable chairs - where you may find students working. Everything is accessible and on the flat. The food is not very exciting but it is perfectly edible.

Nice coffee, rude staff - my little sister (11) said I think your toilet is broken and was met with a condescending answer from a bald man. He pointed us toward the “working” toilet which also wasn’t flushing. If you’re looking for a warm welcoming environment- avoid this place.

Really great coffee shop in a good location. we were in Bristol for a few days and Sunday morning I was off wandering around when I popped in to here for a pot of tea. Very relaxed , calm atmosphere , helpful friendly staff ( who know the area ) , just a great place to unwind on a Sunday morning and watch the world go by....
Lovely atmosphere, good coffee and food, gent service was 1st class, only issue is the poor chap was alone and it was quite busy so there was a wait!! However he dealt with it very well, didn't let it jeopardise his service and served everyone in as timely a manner as he could
Larger than it first appears, due to the floorspace wrapping like a dog-leg around the shop next door, this Caffe Nero offers all the favourites with plenty of chairs by the window. Strong wifi, as every come to expect, and quality coffee made by trained Baristas.
My first time at this chain. Had a very comfortable seating area and a proper place to stand in line for service. Wasn't impressed by the coffee though compared to similar competitors.

The coffee and atmosphere are fine here, however the staff tends to be short and snappy even when it is one of the rare occasions that it is quiet. I would definitely recommend it for take out coffee above many of the other coffee houses in the local vicinity.
Went in with some friends at 5.30 for coffee & snack. Full of students studying. One or two people on each table only with loads of books, laptop and empty coffee cup . No empty tables for customers who wanted to actually buy something. Went elsewhere.
I came here with my mother for drinks, and a bit of food for myself. Staff member there today was unfriendly, unsociable, lack-luster, and uncivil! She must of been having a bad day at work! Hope she learns how to get good customer service
Really poor. I went to meet up with a client for an hour to catch up. The que was horrendous and service really slow. I managed to get a coffee when I arrived but we gave up trying to get another. For such a large and prominent place it
Caffe Nero is my fave of the 'big three'. The coffee is good and there's lots of comfortable seating. It's a shame students need to sit on their own with their laptops, meaning it can be hard for us lesser mortals to find seats.
Nice warm and friendly atmosphere, drinks are nice and reasonably priced. Closing times vary throughout the week but good to know if you have plans in the triangle and you have time to kill on Saturdays they close at 7:30pm.
Such a nice barista, good atmosphere and not just the best coffee around (soya cappuccino is my current go to) but the pastries are the only ones I'll buy especially if warm and recently out of oven...bliss. More
Very nicely made cappuccinos. They seem not to bake their almond croissants properly - wet uncooked middles - so avoid those. But otherwise the place is clean and bright, with nice music in the background.
Only take away cups. Lovely staff. Good looked dried out and over priced.

The coffee wasn't great, tasted a bit burnt maybe, it tasted quite harsh and kind of like a vending machine. Perhaps the milk wasn't steamed well. Ordered a flat white and a cappuccino to go.
My favourite place to study, read a book or have a catch up with a friend. The staff are amazing, I go there fairly regularly and so I've got to know a few of them and we always have a chat.
A little dishevelled with disgusting toilets. Nice Pannini.

Visited twice during difficult Covid restrictions. Takeaway service only. Staff were helpful and efficient. It was good to have a comforting coffee to take back to where I was working.
It's a very nice place to stop for a cup of coffee, or a bit of lunch on the go. I love their seeting arrangements. There is a radar key operated toilet for disabled people available.
My favourite place to grab a latte in Bristol.

I received excellent service at this café yesterday, the barista was very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice across this branch. The coffee I got was also perfect! :)
The tardis of coffee shops. Small frontage opening into massive interior. Plenty of comfy seats and places to plug in.

Hard to find a seat sometimes due to proximity to Bristol uni, but it's a nice store and opens much earlier than other coffee shops in the area.
Good food and coffee offering with generous student discount. A little tired looking

I got a BLT sandwich and I honestly didn't think to check that it was coffee free.
