Popped in here for lunch with my friend and her baby last week and would highly recommend a visit. There were a steady stream of people coming in for icecream and the servers were very sweet despite being busy. The food menu is pretty extensive (jacket potatoes, wraps, sandwiches, full English and more) and they're really flexible so you can easily tweak and swap out items. We had a strawberry milkshake each (delish!! And they even gave us a small third glass because it made too much for 2 cups and otherwise it'd go to waste - never had that anywhere ever they normally jus put it down the sink), a crayfish sandwich and pesto panini both with Crisps and salad. Food was great and then the icecream after was fab, tasted a few flavours then picked one and only £2 a scoop! They also only use the posh biscuit cones and spinkles and sauce are inc. In the price :) seating available inside and out, fully licensed and with a wide range of cocktails and spirits and open till 8pm on some days!
Great little shop for lunch! Food choices are varied and there's lots of veggie options, food is yummy and reasonably priced too. Drinks are nice too, lots of choices (even alcoholic options which I have not tried yet) The ice cream is the main attraction though! There are always so many lovely flavours to choose from even If you get stuck the staff are very willing to let you try before you buy. I've not been dissapointed with a flavour yet! The staff are always friendly and the service is quick and effectiant. Decor and atmosphere is okay, its clean, modern and simple but I always feel like it could be a cozy. I will be eating more icecream here in the future! :)
Visited for first time Saturday the 19th of March to mainly buy adventure Island tickets as the menu looked so tasty we ordered 2 pannines. We had to wait over 20 minutes for table service before getting up and ordering at the till. 15mins later the order arrived I had a brie and bacon which was burnt, although it was tasty and I was hungry. I ordered my daughter one of their speciality milkshakes a diame one which was tasty but overall the service was slow and if your going to make customers wait ages for table service then encourage them to use the till rather than feeling like there being forgotten about.
I ordered a sandwich to takeaway which was unfortunately really disappointing. There was barely any filling inside, so it was pretty much bread with a tiny bit of bacon & avocado and no tomato or mayonnaise as ordered. It’s a shame as the cafe’ is really well located on the high street with a nice little outside area to enjoy in the sunshine. Empty at peak lunch time, so I guess that’s telling. A real shame as I remember this place being quite popular years ago.

Got taken here by my children. Apparently, Nan and grandad used to treat them to ice cream here. Been using the place for years now. Regularly go here for a coffee, light lunch or breakfast (and ice cream of course) Really great place with good service, and reasonably priced. Handy for when the children wanted to go to the Upminster park and needed a drink afterwards. Even though they're all grown up now, we still go in.

Popped in here as I do occasionally for teas. The service was excellent and the place very nice when you are parched. My partner had the jacket potato beans and cheese which she thoroughly enjoyed. And it looked very good indeed. They do alternative milks for those like me that are either vegan, lactose intolerant or personal preference. It would have been nice to have seen a few vegan options but lots of places now do so I ate elsewhere. We went back for a beer afterwards and my other half had a cocktail. Good place to visit and take a break.
Overrated- Ordered two scoops of cookie dough icecream and after waiting 20 minutes for 2 SCOOPS of icecream I spoke to a woman and she very kindly gave it to me and I realised halfway through eating it that it wasn't even the right icecream. How? Please I am baffed myself how someone is able to mess up that bad. Don't expect me to come again
This place is a little gem in the high street. We only had coffee (skinny latte) and cake (victoria sponge cake) but it was fabbbb. They also do pananis, milkshakes etc etc and have an awesome selection of ice cream which was a hit with schoool kids on the sunniest day of the year so far Its only a small cafe but has inside and outside seating.
I just had a takeaway tuna panini from here (£6) and they had literally tipped out tuna from a can and put cheese on top and toasted it. I couldn’t even finish it. If you’re going to charge that much for a panini atleast take pride in the food that you serve- it was awful!

Kid-friendliness
Clearly young children and Mums welcome and put at ease.
Maybe this is coloured by a recent trip to France. Two scoops of ice cream for £3.95 - pricey but OK but then the 50p extra charge for the cone, which they don't advertise before you come to pay - that's well over the top. And, compared with French sorbets the flavour was bland. Poor value. Shame there is so little competition.
Terrible! Ordered a ice cream cone and the scoop was non existent. So small it was embarrassing. It didn't even come up over the cone You are forced to order 6 scoops to make it even look like 1 scoop! And they have the audacity to charge £3 a scoop. What. Really scamming customers
Coffee with a variety of customisation available (e.g soya milk) at no extra cost. Food is cheap despite being prepared freshly and to a good standard. Wide selection of Italian Gelato at respectable prices.

Ive only given one 1 star as that’s the minimum. The owner is the rudest man I’ve ever come across. It’s gone down hill since it’s been taken over. I will never be going back again, there are so many other nice places in Upminster to enjoy! Do not bother!
Had a really lovely lunch here on Monday, will def come back !

Absolutely fantastic place. Prices very reasonable especially when compared to others in the area and the quality is top notch. Could do with a few more flavours but still a great selection. Coffee flavoured would a good addition.
Worst ice coffee ever! A lot of ice was simply whipped up in a blender along with milk. As a result, you drink coffee and eat ice. This is terrible!!! (Yes, I'm sure) look at the cameras from today and see how coffee is made )
Went here with wife and two young children. Great food at such a reasonable price. Staff were friendly, relaxed and polite...Support the local businesses! Much better value for money than the other chains of coffee houses
Fabulous place, love all the flavours, super friendly staff, great with the kids. This place is (mine) and the kids favourite place to have desserts and more.
