I am writing to express my heartfelt disappointment at the service I have received in your pub yesterday. After a long day at work and being first time in Prague we chose this Pub because of its great google review and Location, but the reality led to my disappointment. As we were entering the Pub my colleague asked the lady waitress if she could smoke, she said yes. As we enjoy the live band music and just enjoying our selves a Guy working in that restaurant came screaming at my colleague, “ PUT DOWN THE CIGARETTE OR ILL TAKE YOU OUT OF HERE” We were both ladies and I personally was shocked of how a person can just come up without warning us even once, to stop smoking ,And we actually even asked if it was allowed to smoke, (apparently IQOS is allowed and not the normal cigarette) but how would we know that just being few hours in Prague for the first time?. And she said Yes. Furthermore I was trying to explain to the yelling guy that we did NOT know that, and because where we are coming from it is allowed to smoke in bars He said “ I dont Care” Well I believe he should care, because if he listen to me he would understand the situation more that we just genuinely ddnt know, but because he just truly doesn’t care and all that matters is to shout and prove him self. This Man , almost touch my colleague as well. Luckily he was warned. And did not do anything, because if that ever happened this will escalate even further. besides we ASKED but did not however explain whats allowed and what not?? When we asked at as we enter, the lady said yes. Why would you just shout at your customer and make a scene.? I dont think any customer deserves just to be shouted just like that? So degrading. Politely calling our attention and warning us can make a difference between creating a scene or being flippant. I have to say the Manager was polite and courteous, clearly he knew what was going on he should be a role model of that Pub. We got our beers waved off but that did not make out nigh bette anymore.

I've visited here a few times but usually for drinks and the staff have always been as expected, friendly helpful and attentive. ⭐ Service is 5 stars! Unfortunately came for the full Irish Breakfast and it was not great. It looks great, and you will get an actual fry up (everything deep fat fried including toast) and very salty. Eggs were overcooked, chewy and salty. Bacon and sausages were great and beans and tomato were nice but sadly overpowered by the salty eggs and mushrooms. ☕ Plus side nice to get a proper pot of tea brew with milk.

Nous sommes venus pour 4jours à Prague, le premier soir nous avons eu la chance de tomber sur le Caffrey’s ! Ambiance incroyable, personnel au top. Le premier jour, nous sommes arrivés trop tard pour pouvoir goûter leur cuisine. Nous sommes revenus le lendemain et nous avons bien fait !! Sans mentir, le gourmet burger est le meilleur burger que nous avons pu manger EVER ! Résultat, sur 3 nuits à Prague, nous sommes venus 3fois ! Seul regret ? Ne pas avoir pu remercier les personnes qui nous ont accueillis mardi et mercredi soir ! Excellente expérience. Ce Pub nous manquera c’est certain !

Only the perils of group think lead you to go into worse versions of places you have back home when travelling abroad. But to go back again after getting rinsed because the staff don't understand their own 2 for 1 shots policy was shocking. I've bumped it up to 2 stars because the live music was so bad on both occasions that it will come up in conversation in the future and draw a chuckle. At one point, it sounded like the guy was singing in Arabic, though the original song wasn't Arabic and I suspect he was just making noises along to the chords. I'm giving them an extra star because I'm giving them enough credit to think that was some kind of in-joke.

A nice traditional Irish pub at the heart of Prague. We didn't try any food, but they serve very nice mulled wine. The two girls serving were also very nice and accommodating. We went in to watch a football match and weren't disappointed as the pub has numerous TVs that they show sports on.

Your classic Irish pub. A good ambiance, the regular beers on tap and staff that make sure your glass is always full. Surprisingly good nachos. 1 big minus that they dont have the sound on for the games and there's no lock in the bathroom.. that would have brought it up to 4-stars Reply to owner: There was only one game on so that was not the case. Watching football without the sound kinda sucks, no matter the reason why it was not on, it is something I at least would have wanted to know.

Popped in for a drink later in the evening . Staff were very attentive ,clearing tables as soon as people left and asking if we wanted another drink when removing our empty glasses. Good atmosphere , champions league football was on five telly screens around the bar , We didn't eat on our visit but portion sizes looked good on meals that were served at tables around us. Would definitely recommend this bar , whether for a quick drink , a meal or both .

This is a proper bar!! Great staff, really clean, excellent service, beers and cocktails served fast and professionally. We didn't eat here but all food looked delicious. If you want to see GAA, Rugby or Soccer this is the place to go, multiple screens. A huge thank you to John, Declan, Tony and all the Caffreys team for making our weekend in Prague ever more enjoyable. When you get tired of the crowds stop in here for a very refreshing break! You will enjoy it.

I had never been in an Irish Pub, nor in Prague. The pub is beautiful, well organised, and well stocked. his point strong, however, in my opinion was the staff. i know it may sound strange as a strong point of a place but the girl who served me was the only person who gave me a smile so far in prague, they are all so serious. it was nice to enjoy a great beer and feel some hospitality ❤️

Came here on the last day of our weekend break. Alas, a proper fry-up for my partner and about the only place in Prague that can actually pull a pint properly without half of it being down. We received great service from friendly staff. The place was very clean and I was pleased to find the toilets were too. The food was exceptional and very good value - good for tourists. I would love to go back again if ever I'm in Prague.

Really enjoyed going here for lunch in our last day. Staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome. The food was really good too - perhaps a little expensive (2 meals and 2 pints of coke) for about £30 (880 Kc) All in all really wished we found this place sooner and come back for the night life. Full Irish breakfast was really enjoyed and filled me up until we got home later that day

First time customer, place was buzzing saturday night for the Ireland game. Staff & service was first class, we just that tacho's while watching the game they top class. Lounge staff were very good, getting drinks & food to tables when it was so busy. Toilets too were clean . Well done management & staff

Die Bar ist ganz ok. Wir haben hier nur etwas getrunken. Die Preise sind hier aber schon etwas angehoben, dafür dass z. B. der Cidre in der Dose serviert wird. Wir haben uns auf Livemusik gefreut, doch leider hat der Sänger so schief gesungen, daß wir schon überlegt haben das Lokal zu wechseln. Aber auch so sind wir nicht lange geblieben.

Navštívil jsem tento podnik s partou lidí, které jsem potkal v jiném irském pubu ten samý večer a bylo nám tu lépe. Měli jsme zrovna štěstí, že jsme chytli místo, protože tam bylo opravdu narváno. Obsluha se snažila co to šlo a pivo tu chtěl snad úplně každý. Každopádně když půjdu kolem na další Saint Patrick's Day, tak rozhodně zajdu.

One of the best places in Prague. Great service! We were served by the waitress Alina, she was very pleasant, she always came to ask if we wanted anything else and if we liked everything. We noticed that all the staff are very friendly and respond to requests. I sincerely recommend!

It's an 'Irish' pub not in Ireland and is typical of the kind you see in any city that calls itself an 'Irish' pub. They're are fine for tourists, but the ones in Prague are awful for a true Prague/Czech experience. Extremely expensive for Prague, but then it is in a tourist area. I'd avoid it.

It's ok, every city seems to have an Irish themed bar, some are better than others! Very pricey in comparison to it's peers. You'll pay double the average price here for a standard Staroporamen, which is of course down to the location.

It is a nice spot for a good drink and bit of food , some of the singers not great to be honest

A solid irish pub. When we visited there was a group of at least ten bachelor partiers who were extremely loud to the level where you could barely hear your own thoughts so keep that in mind when visiting

This is one of the higher priced bars around. 115kc for the cheapest beer. Plenty of other options around at a better price. Prague used to be cheap. How many Irish bars are too many?

This place is great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I came from Buffalo Ny USA and they put the playoff Buffalo Bills american football game on the tv for us.

Vždy v Praze navštívime nikdy nejsme zklamání, spousta dobrých piv a milá obsluha

Turistická hospoda za turistické ceny. Místo ani pivo však tak špatné nejsou.

Super atmosféra i personál. Ceny vyšší, odpovídající umístění. Super zážitek.

Předražené, ale Staromák je Staromák. Neosobní "irská" hospoda. Znám lepší.

Skvělá atmosféra, výborný Guinness a Gourmet Burger moc dobrý.. ;-)
