"This bar was so retro and fun that I wish I could have gone back every night I was in London"
"I'm very disappointed"
I have mixed views of this place. Cahoots is quirky, friendly, and welcoming. I like the concept of travelling back in time to experience the 1940s theme underground station. It's an old WW2 air raid shelter. The station is split into three sections however, only one area was available on the day and was told the opposite side of the station is closed, but I did see people going in and out. When popping to the toilets and going down the stairs, it's pitch black and an accident waiting to happen. (Put your phone torch on) They have newspapers as the drinks menu which I absolutely love and there is a good selection of drinks. The Winston Churchill cocktail is delicious but is made with minimal amount of alcohol. I know it's Soho/Carnaby Street, but it's still on the expensive side, considering the quality and quantity as most of the drink was ice. I was hoping for some live music or entertainment, but I'm not sure why parts of the station bar was closed off. When paying for the bill, what a palaver it was. I do get buffudeld when people can't work out simple mathematics. Staff need to pay attention to what they are charging their customers. If my friend and I didn't notice the error made, we would have paid double. I like to experience and try out new things, but this place was not worth the hype.

So happy that our friends recommended this place...and made reservations. If you are looking for something unique and a cocktail simultaneously, this is the spot. This quaint cocktail bar is a former London underground station that was apparently also a WWII bomb shelter at some point. The cocktail selections are diverse and even offer ample selection of beer and wine. No vetos here, even a section exclusive for non-alcoholic drinks. The drink vessels are equally impressive as one of them was Churchill's bust, and another was a giant Thermos. There are food options, but really just snacks. The surrounding area will allow one to have dinner before. We were blessed to have some live music, too, which takes requests and is quite engaging. Assure you have your camera ready, and I can imagine if you didn't have a reservation, you'd be out of luck. But make sure you are reserving the corrcect area as Calhoots has lots of areas. Service was attentive and was not in need of anything. Great job to the team. Keep up the amazing work!!!!

⭐️Overall rating: 9/10 ️ Recommendation: Winston Churchill, Keep marm and carry on ♂️Service: super friendly £14-17 per cocktail Cahoots London ⏰Opening hours: Mo-Tue: 16:00- 01:00 Wed-Thu: 15:00 - 02:00 Fri-Sat: 13:00 - 02:00 Sun: 14:00 - Midnight . Step into the disused Underground station in Kingly Court to discover a speakeasy cocktail bar! . Cahoots - SIGNAL STATION Staff are dressed in 1940s style and so is the whole place. Their cocktail menu is an old newspaper and there is live music too. Absolute vibe if you ask me! . We ordered the following (starred ones were our favourite): Vera Lynn Winston Churchill⭐️ Keep marm and carry on⭐️ Sophia Loren . Perfect date spot or one to enjoy with a group of friends! . There are two other cocktail bars available at the same location: Ticket hall upstairs and Underground (downstairs). . Closest station: Oxford Circus
This bar was so retro and fun that I wish I could have gone back every night I was in London. We sat at a table with the bunk bed seats and had a blast. The menu offered a wide variety of pretty wacky cocktails that were all carefully crafted. The music was from the era and so much fun to listen to. The bathrooms were super cute and definitely convinced me to get the Winston Churchill tiki mug to take home with me. The most interesting drink was the I say Tomato. It quite literally tasted like tomato soup, but as I kept drinking I could taste the complex layers within the drink. It was very instagrammable in the soup mug it was served in.

I'm very disappointed. Because this is the exact bar I came to 4 years ago with my current boyfriend on our first date. So we came back to this bar having in mind that amazing night. Not only we had to wait 1h for our table when we were told to wait 20mins only, but we sit down at 10:15pm to be told they wanted the table back by 11pm. I understand it was a Saturday night but still, better communication goes a long way. Also very disappointed with the selection of cocktails, it's not what it used to be. Love the decor but the rest of the service, not worth the price. Go somewhere else.

We went here for a friend's birthday. We booked the underground and it was a lovely experience right from when we entered. The decor, staff, food and drinks were great and one I'd recommend. One thing though, we were made to wait outside for about five to ten minutes despite having a booking and arriving on time - not sure why but it didn't deter us from having a good experience. Do check it out!

I came here for drinks for my birthday and the staff there are incredibly friendly. They even brought a few liqueur shots for the table. I wasn’t here for long but I had the cocktail which I think was called ‘lovely bunch of coconuts’ and I really enjoyed that. I also tried the ‘abbott and Costello’ cocktail which was definitely not to my taste. The theme of the restaurant is very cool and I love how the menu is a newspaper. It is expensive and very tight spaced but it’s a fun and quirky place to have drinks .

The underground bar was such a great experience. The drinks were really good and they had a live DJ. The only reason i don’t give it 5 stars is because even though we made a reservation, we still had to wait 35 minutes outside for a table and wouldn’t let us line up before our reservation time.. the chairs are also a bit low to the ground and can get uncomfortable after a little while. Still a really nice place to visit.

Cahoots consistently leaves a lasting impression on the new friends we bring along. A cherished London fixture for us since 2016, I hope it remains a part of our lives until we're all gray. It's a treasure trove of memories, stories, delightful cocktails, and memorable hangovers. The staff is truly exceptional—sweet, knowledgeable, and incredibly fun. Thanks once more; we'll definitely be returning soon.

Found this rad underground-themed bar in SoHo. They're totally committed to the theme — from the entrance to the decorations and even the toilets. The menu's adorable, shaped like a retro newspaper. What's even better? They open in the afternoon, so we kicked off some early day drinking Their drinks are on point too. Tried the Winston Churchill, served in a mug shaped like the great man himself, and the Milkman Special, which came in a cool milk carton-shaped mug. Cheers to unexpected cool finds!
I'm so glad I came across this on TikTok because it was such a fun experience. While the drinks are very expensive (£15), it was so worth it! The theming was so fun (1940s abandoned tube stop speakeasy), the service was great, and the drinks were creative (including orange marmalade, cabbage, etc) in fun drinking vessels (tea cups, tin cans, Winston Churchill heads, etc). Highly recommend - but make reservations or be ok with waiting.

Great cocktail bar. We had a good time there, the atmosphere is amazing. Lovely decorations everywhere, it really brings you back in time. I loved that the menu is a newspaper and the cocktail glasses are also amazing. Even the toilets are amazing! The only but is that they do rush you to finish and leave and try to sell you as much drinks as possible in the little time you have there. Other than that, all great.

We got to Cahoots early on New Years Day hoping to grab a table for a quick cocktail. We ended up getting to experience the ticket hall and the wonderful cocktail menu upstairs, before being guided to a table in the fantastic underground train carriage for more cocktails and food. We had great fun, the atmosphere was great, and we will certainly be back!

Amazing venue, with such a special atmosphere. “Welcome to 1946” our waitress greeted us as we entered this bar. We truly felt as if we had time travelled and walked into this old underground station and the Bakerloo line. Cocktails were great, and the one that came in a Winston Churchill-shaped cup was just amazing. Wonderful place that I’d recommend to anyone visiting London. Booking in advance required.

Been dying to try this bar and it did not disappoint! When we went to book there was no availability so we got there and they took our name and only had to queue for about 20 minutes but it was worth the wait! The service was fantastic, the cocktails were very tasty and the music and atmosphere was class. My favourite part was the menu was a newspaper so was like everyone was sitting reading the paper! Overall class bar!

Good service after getting in, okay cocktails and unique atmosphere (we came in just before DJ started to play). But cannot give 5 stars based on the what you get for what you pay. It's a little bit overpriced for what it is in my own experience. My cocktail was like 2/3 of ice cube so for 16£ it's a rip off. If price tags would match cokctails quantity - it would be a solid 5 stars...

Excellent cocktails; they were really on point, even the difficult ones! It’s a great place to be, with a nice atmosphere created by a welcoming and well-organized team. And then there’s of course the look and feel of the 1940s tube station with its 1000 little sophisticated details. Unforgettable experience! The bad reviews here may only be caused by wrong expectations.

They kindly put together tables for a group of 11 of us and were able to get us in despite us not booking (it was a last minute decision) the live music was fantastic and the overall vibe of the place was amazing with the vintage deco. Drinks were phenomenal everyone complimented the cocktails as they were delicious if a bit spenny. Definitely want to return for brunch one day.

Such a disappointing experience ! We had to book one week before to be able to have a drink in this bar. The decor is so cheap. it’s way more beautiful on the photos. We sat on very uncomfortable armchairs. The table was wonky and ugly. The cocktails are okay but quite expensive. With all these eulogistic comments, we were expecting something more authentic. It doesn’t worth it !

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon and seated right away outdoors - wasn't very crowded. Ordered the Vera Lynn, What's Up Doc, Cahooch Old Fashioned, and potato croquettes (they were out of the arancini). Everything was tasty and not too overpriced. Server was very sweet and attentive. Would recommend for a quick bite and decent cocktails.

Can't speak for the food, as we only ordered drinks but blimey, what great drinks. Never been to a "speakeasy" before but the atmosphere was solid, decor was lovely (thought the train nerd in me would have liked a few more accents, but you can't win them all). 100% coming back.

Amazing place. The atmosphere is like nothing else I have seen, it really is like stepping back in time. The staff also really embraces the theme and are very friendly. The cocktail prices are a little high but the experience alone is worth it but one of the cocktails we tried was absolutely delicious. More
This is a hidden gem. Make sure you book. Descend down the stairs to a step back in time. We sat inside the tube carriage. The attention to detail is incredible. You really can forget the real world for a time.

Very next experience place. Definitely worth a trip down if you want to see a popular speak easy. Drinks are a tad above standard prices but the cocktails appear stronger and are lovely. You are also paying for the full experience as some of the people working there are also actors. More
Fantastic service with an amazing vibe. We ended up ordering 6 different drinks plus some truffle fries which we'd highly recommend. Some of the best cocktails we've had. The waiters and waitresses were all very friendly which complimented the cute vibe there. Drinks were on point …
What a lovely spot! The underground is the spot to be. It is clear that the staff truly care about customer experience and their product. The drinks were so unique and worth trying (Dig for Victory is a must!). We cannot wait to go back and try more. I cannot recommend more!! More
Very nice bar with good music and cocktails. The atmosphere from the 40s and the beautiful lady singing and playing piano will make our night remembered. The staff is very nice and available. Quite expensive, cocktails around 15 but you need to try it (book a table before!!)
The atmosphere is really great. The interior is fantastic. The cocktails were tasty, but quite mild. The service started out amazing but getting the bill experience felt a bit like "and now get out please"

It is a unique environment, resembling old tube carriages! So the vibe is awesome but the cocktails left us kinda disappointed, all 4 of us. I had the fermented mule, and though the description was sweet and refreshing, I could only taste the sourness from the lemon.
Exceptionally themed cocktail bar! From the menu, to the decor, staff in character and dress. The drinks are really unique with attention to detail. Definitely a must to visit.

I’d wanted to come to Cahoots for a while and when we were able to just walk in we were quite lucky, as it’s normally wise to make a booking. We were in the ticket office bar which is very well decorated and had a good atmosphere. Cocktails
Step back in time to the 1940s at Cahoots near Carnaby Street, where nostalgia takes center stage! This speakeasy is like a hidden gem, or should I say 'giggle juice' den? The decor oozes vintage charm, transporting you to the era of swing
I highly recommend this place! Incredible staff. From the moment you enter they show you your seat in character. They answer all your questions with a smile and they take time with you. Our waitress was a 20 year old lady and let me tell
We have been to the underground bar on a Sunday and we loved it! Miss Alice Keys was performing and she was brilliant! They have a great selection of cocktails also. Expect to pay £15-£20 for each cocktail.
