Stay away from this bakery if you can. I would even put 0 stars if its available. I fully paid my cake for my wedding which is supposed to be last year, then shut down happens, so we have to hold off my wedding, I called them and they assure me that they will still gonna do my cake when everything goes back to normal, but me being skeptical I called them how many times to ask for a letter stating what they said, so I would have some kind of evidence proving what they said just in case something happens but they refuse to give it to me and say that I can trust them, so I was like ok maybe they can be trusted. Then last week I went there to order another cake for my niece's 21st birthday and to also tell them that my wedding would be on July. All of a sudden they told me that because its a year already that my order was already voided and I they also told me that whatever I paid is never going to be refunded. So I argue with them about what they told me and explained that even my venue is not open yet so how am I suppose to do my wedding, then the baker came out and told me that to settle everything down he is gonna do my niece's cake for free, take note he was trying to do just a regular cake, but I told him that's not what I wanted and he ask me what cake I wanted, so I showed him the picture, and the cake was gorgeous but does not cost more than 400, but he told me in order for him to do the cake I have to pay extra, so I did just to get it done. Then yesterday when we took the cake, it does not look anything like the picture that I showed him, it was horrible. This is what they call legal scam. I

I ordered a baby shower cake and I didn't get the design that I want. The cake was missing some details and looks different. When I told Manuel (manager), he told me " I don't have to take it if I don't like it". I didn't have a choice because I need the cake that day. I paid for the cake for $200 and didn't even get a discount when I paid for it. When I called to tell them my concern, Manuel (manager) told me if I can afford to pay for the cake that I should have not ordered it, I owned my own business so the money wasn't the issue, it's the principle. The cake I ordered matches the baby shower team so the design of the cake was very important to me so I wasn't happy with it. He told me we can just be friends and will give discount the next time I order something. I have lots of friends and clients that I could recommend but I won't just because I was treated poorly and most of all I didn't get the cake that I want. If he told me that they can't do it, then I would have ordered it to somebody else. My advise to all of you: Don't order your cake to this place, they are very rude and not friendly". I would not recommend it to anyone!!!!

10 years ago I married the man of my dreams and on that day we celebrated not only our wedding but, my eldest daughter turning 21. Manuel made the cake for both. Not know them or their bakery very well 10 years ago we were pleasantly surprised at the taste of both the Wedding cake and the pink elephant cake that Manuel somehow managed to place a bottle of champagne on for us as well. I moved off to Chicago-land after the wedding but, the many family members I left behind have bought from him ever since (birthday cakes, baby shower cakes, etc.). If anyone is ever looking for "Kings bread" or Rosca de Reyes this is the place to get it for sure. It has been 10 years since I have been back to his store but, the day I returned (10 years later) it was as if I had been here the whole time. The same wonderful taste of his baked pastries and the friendliness offered by him and his staff is the best. When I am in town along with a few place one can't come to Las Vegas without eating at I also make it a point to come back to Cake World on Tenaya and Cheyenne. Can't wait for their seasonal Pumpkin Turnovers to come out.

My husband ordered me a birthday cake from this place a 1/4th sheet yellow cake with buttercream frosting, he picked out a Princess Belle from Beauty & The Beast design. $57!! When he picked up the cake, the box was half open because they did not have a big enough size for the cake with the princess on top who by the way, looked absolutely horrible with a very cheap tiara, the kit looked like it was $2, the rose designs did not look like roses, it was decorated very poorly & the actual cake was very dry and kind of hard on the inside like it was over baked and not much flavor at all. The writing on the cake was poor and the least they could have done was spell my name with a Capital in the front because it looked awful the way it was written. The Cake is the one thing that I look forward to for my birthday and this totally was the worst part of my birthday. What a waste of money.

My family and I were celebrating my niece's baptism and birthday. At first we wanted to order from Freed's bakery but just for the cake alone, it would have cost around $300. I decided to order from Cake World since I've tried desserts from this place before; and it was all really good! (I've tried their chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, brownies, and buttercream cupcake). The lady up front named Nancy was attentive and very welcoming. We ordered a 10 inch chocolate cake with custard AND chocolate mousse filling, plus 20 buttercream cupcakes. That whole order cost less than $200. Our entire party loved the cake/cupcakes. The cake was moist and the combination of the chocolate mousse and the custard was amazing! I will definitely stick to ordering from Cake World from now on!!! Please support this business! Oh my God! This place is awesome! Albertson's, Smith's, and Walmart couldn't even attempt to step up on the same stage that these folks are on. Don't get me wrong, those bakeries have there purpose. But, Wow! These cakes are like the next 3 levels above the everyday, regular, cake in a box type cakes you get from the grocery delis. The most polite employees I have ever encountered in the wild world of the service industry. These folks also sell decadent pastries, and cake by the slice. If you are needing a change of pace, something different than your everyday semi flavorless boring lumps of flour, eggs and what ever else you may find in cakes these days. Make a voyage to this bakery. You won't be disappointed. I swear! I can hear my stomach getting fatter now. Oh well. Enjoy the rest of your day.

I ordered a Tre Leches cake for a birthday. When I went to pick it up there was no milk on it. I brought this to their attention and they said they only do the sponge. That is something they really should have said on the pnone while taking the order! I have never had any other Bakery do this when I pick up the cake! There was ko time to order from somewhere else so I took the cake and had to go buy the milks at a busy grocery and soak it. In addition to this the quality of the writing on the cake was poor and they decorated it in BLUE! I have no idea why but the frosting had BLUE food coloring in it which I had not ordered (was supposed to be strawberries). I will be warning my friends away from this Bakery.

Being new to the area I didn't know where to start to look for a cake and after google searching bakeries near me and calling/going to each one to find out they request at least a 48 hr notice for an order just by chance I came across this place. I explained that I was in a bind and needed a cake for my daughter's birthday and needed it within a few hours..Manuel was so nice and went out of his way to make one for me on my break and in the short time frame managed to fulfill what she requested. The cake was delicious as he promised it would be and he made her day that much more special. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back for sure!!

Place is fantastic. They're really slow and I can understand why. We went in a couple days ago and got a couple different kinds of cake one of them cheesecake went back today and got a couple more slices of cheesecake in a couple different kinds of cake we also got cookies and Dad the place is just fantastic if you're in the neighborhood you should really stop in guaranteed you're going to like it. I ordered a cake for my birthday dinner in Vegas. At first I ordered a basic sheet cake until I saw pics on the website. I immediately called and changed my order. My cake was ready in time and tasted AMAZING. It was so good the restaurant staff asked for a piece! I was happy to oblige and they questioned where I got it from. The people that own this establishment are super friendly people!!! Everyone is always nice and very helpful! The make AMAZING desserts!! We started coming here after we moved to the Las Vegas area in May of 2018 and we have continued to return. My husband uses them for his catering events at work now because we were so pleased with the quality and service!!! Need a custom cake or cupcakes? You NEED to give this business a try!! Last minute , I came in for a “moist “ birthday cake for my mother . At first they told me they couldn’t deliver within 6 hours and I was just about to walk out , then the owner went back to ask his delivery guy if he could make it to my mother’s job before 4pm . He said yes but $ 30 to deliver and he scanned the picture I gave him . Cake was done in less than 2 hours ! Came on time, happy wife happy life , she has a great husband . (Dad) my ❗️

Another local guide only gave this establishment a four star review, which I thought was a disservice to how great this place is. This is the second time my wife and I have purchased the most delectable, delicious pastries and creations from this beautiful business. I cannot extol high enough, just how good this place is, in terms of choice and value for your dollar this is. Don't take my word for it, you have to try it for yourselves.

Myself being a true lover of cake and all things baked stumbled on this place a few days ago and thought I died and went to Heaven , a small family bakery this guy has some of the most beautiful,best tasting cakes I've ever seen or had. Buy it whole or by the slice it's sure to please. Does special orders for birthdays weddings etc. Pastries breads and pirs. It's a good thing it's far from home or I'd get fat quick.

For years both my family and I have been ordering their wonderful cakes, cupcakes and everything just as sweet. And each time the taste feels as though its getting more tastier and even better than the last. VERY RACIST! My 9yr daughter and I decided to try this place out today(approximately3:30pm)and did we get a experience. We waited while the clerk was helping/checking a customer out when a white gentleman came shortly after us. When finally finishing(approximately 3-5 minutes) instead of helping us first she acknowledged us then helped the white gentlemen first. At that time we walked out.

The staff is super friendly. They prepared a beautiful cake with sugar pearls for 45 people without any hesitation with only 3 day anticipated days. The cake was beyond beautiful and extremely delicious. My guests liked it so very much . Great bakery , great prices and very dependable bakery to meet all expectations! I've been to bakeries all over Las Vegas and nothing comes close to the freshness, variety and customer service at cake world. I felt welcomed and cared for from day one. My usual is the breads and the pineapple upside-down cake. THE BEST pineapple upside-down cake in the valley. Period! I buy the whole cake and put it in the freezer. ENJOY!! You are welcome!

They did my daughter’s cake last minute and it was the best red velvet cake we have ever had!!!! We have 2 more birthdays coming up and I’m about to place the orders! Prices were great as well!!!! Can’t say enough good things.

We have purchased cakes from Cake World for almost every special occasion for over 10 years now. We have gotten cakes for birthdays, graduations, and baby showers. Not only are the cakes absolutely delicious, but they also look incredible!!! The tres leches is our favorite. We 10/10 recommend this bakery to everyone.

This place deserves zero stars we tried to order cake by email as per the instructions on their website for a birthday party. This place failed to respond to email and can’t say they didn’t get it per the read receipt So apparently they do not appreciate their customers and have a severe lack of customer service.

Always friendly, and extremely helpful. Don't let the small storefront discourage you. What matters is the HUGE taste of all their baked goods. House custard is our absolute favorite. Get it by the slice or an entire cake (prices are very reasonable). Have gotten 4 cakes so far and will keep coming for more.

This place is the BEST....not a huge selection ..but you CANNOT find better quality and prices. And specialty cakes are awesome from here. Empanadas here are exceptional.... Like always they out do thrm selves. Ive ordered cakes from cake world on every occasion. They always come through with creativity and taste. From simple white cake with strawberries , carrot and 3 leches cant decide which ones my fave. The staff and Nancy are very helpful and friendly.

Cake world was amazing. The service was great. She help me find the perfect cake. Made on time and made as we created it. Most definitely will be back for custom cakes. Kids family anyone cake can be made here. They also sell cake slices, coffee and candles just incase you forgot.

Best cake in town!! I have been getting cakes here for years. Always made fresh and delicious. We usually keep it simple with white cake, strawberries and whipped cream icing. We never have leftovers of this cake. My kids demand Cake World for their birthday, it's their favorite.

I contacted this gentleman twice asking if he could make my boyfriend a birthday cake, both times he replied saying yes and even asked me for my phone number the second time which I provided. Needless to say he never got back to me so I was left making last minute arrangements.

Delicious cakes and a great selection of other treats! I love grabbing treats every couple of weeks and it’s very reasonably priced as well which sweetens the deal :) highly recommend this hidden gem which has been family owned for over 20 years!

This cake was not only BEAUTIFUL (it’s cream colored and white) it WAS DELICIOUS!!!! Every tier was a different flavor and we ate the top a year later and the fondant preserved it and it was super fresh! It was an awesome piece in my wedding.

I went there today early morning because I needed a cake ASAP. They were able to make it in 10minutes and the cake was delicious. The man that helped me was really sweet and nice , I will be coming here when I need cake.
