Amazing cakes. I've been coming back to this bakery for more than 10 years, getting cakes for different occasions, bdays, and special days. They can make nice designs to your needs. They are very talented and creative, helping you to make the best cake for your day. Besides the cakes, they have, in my opinion, the best red velvet I've ever tried in any country. It matches perfectly with a coffee or tea. Right sweetness with a little chocolate coffee bean on top. I really recommend taking it away and enjoying it in your very special place. Lastly, it is a small family business, making and delivering their products with love. You clearly see it in every detail.

The cake was terrible. I ordered a cake with butter icing and they did not use real butter. The whole cake tasted of sugar and vegetable oil. For the prices they charge this is not acceptable. My guests disliked the cake so much that no one ate much and no one wanted to take some home with them it was that bad! I do not believe it is right to charge 65 EUR for a small cake and not use real ingredients. So disappointing. I cannot recommend this shop.

I tried a delicious rainbow cake here last year. It tasted very fresh with lovely fruity flavours. The owner, an Aruban man , was very friendly and explained some wedding cake traditions from his country, and even gave a free little sample! Good vibes - highly recommend!

One of the best places to have a good piece of cake and coffee! I highly recommend this place for a quick visit with a friend. The owner was so sweet and friendly. Their best seller is the red velvet cake, according to the owner but we tried the rainbow cake and pistache cake and it was amazing! The coffee had a robust taste and was not lost in the flavour of the milk. Will be visiting the place soon!

One of the best if not the best place to get your birthday cake. We’ve been coming here for years and they’ve never let us down. Amazing decorated cakes with a delicious taste. The staff (family owned) are always very friendly.

Sooo amazed by the quality and the service. I ordered an Alice in Wonderland themed birthday cake on very short notice and it turned out beautiful! It looks just like the picture I showed as reference and they even added two beautiful looking figurines as a surprise. Absolutely blew my mind. I am so sooo happy with it!

Een hele leuke taartwinkel in het centrum van Den Haag. Je kunt hier terecht voor gebak, taartpunten of hele taarten. Maar ook voor een kop koffie of thee. Daarnaast maakt Cake du Fortin taarten voor speciale gelegenheden zoals kinderfeesten, verjaardagen en bruiloften. Eigenlijk is bijna ieder model mogelijk.

We ordered a last minute birthday cake. Red velvet was the only option available without pre-order. And it was their best-seller. It truly is. Worth the price. The best cake I have had in the Netherlands. Highly recommend. Next time, I will pre-oder and customize.

Beste red velvet taart van de omgeving!! Smaakvol, niet te zoet, niet te machtig, niet droog. Eigenlijk perfect. Klantvriendelijke mensen, ze zijn erg aardig en denken mee over taart versieringen. Last minute mooie afstudeertaarten kunnen krijgen :)

Een taart besteld voor mijn dochter isabella die 4 word. Het eindresultaat is ver boven onze verwachting. Een geweldige meisjes unicorn taart. Dus voor fantastische taarten moet iedereen bij cake du Fortin zijn!!!!!

Al 3 jaar bestellen we hier de taart de verjaardag van onze dochter en nog nooit teleurgesteld. Je kan doorgeven wat je wilt maar ze voegen zelf ook leuke details toe aan de taart. Helemaal super!
