Had to use Calibre Electric as they were the electricians contracted out by the hot tub company we purchased from. Everything started out fine as they installed a new panel for us and it seemed to be going okay. When they went to bury the line to the tub I informed them we have an irrigation system so to be careful not to damage it when digging. Pickaxes started flying and within minutes our system was damaged. I get it, accidents happen so I wasn’t immediately upset, however when I was told I should get our irrigation company out to repair the damage and then finish the burying of the line, it put me out 2 months of an unfinished project and an additional $1000. When I asked Calibre to help with the repair costs all communications with them went mute. Again, accidents happen but why am I not being reimbursed for some of the costs for repairs AND the finishing of their contracted project? Then to ignore me once I bring up the notion of helping with the costs which they created, very unprofessional. I did not have a say in choosing Calibre but if you do, I’d look for another company.

We recently had our generator installed by Calibre Electric and we were absolutely pleased with every step of the process. Jeff took his time despite his busy schedule and visited the site twice as we had a change of plan with where to have the generator installed and answered every question we had. He also came in on the installation day to ensure that we were all on board with what we agreed. The crew, Miko and Jake were fantastic and super efficient and did an amazing job beyond our expectation including proper install and detailed attention to the location of wiring and workmanship as that was a big concern for us. We have seen some Terrible installation from some big name companies in the past that poorly effects the outlook of the exterior and Caliber Electric crew certainly delivered beyond what we hoped for. Kristina at the main office was also super helpful for making the arrangements for smooth process. We definitely recommend Calibre electric to anyone that is considering to purchase and instal a standby generator. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

I won a Jacuzzi Swim Spa and Jacuzzi Ontario recommended Calibre to do the electrical renovations I needed. I already had 200AMP service, but my 40 year old electrical panel was due for an upgrade. They came from Burlington to Guelph to give me a quote in August of 2018 and they honoured the price in April of 2019 when I decided to proceed. The guys that came were very respectful and friendly. They did exactly what they said they would do in the amount of time they estimated it would take, and left the scene in a clean and orderly manner. My contact in the office, Sierra was very helpful in explaining the entire process including a reminder notification and explaining payment options. The entire process was professional and satisfactory and I will recommend Calibre for all your electrical needs anywhere within 120 miles of Burlington. Great job guys. Thank you.

We had Calibre Electric install a 14kw Generac generator, the process from quoting to installation was only a couple of weeks, and they kept us up to date on the progress. Julien and the others from Calibre were here exactly when they said they would be, and completed the job professionally. Julien went through the entire system with me,, explained the operation of the unit fully, started it up and that was it. They cleaned up all of the remaining leftovers, and they were on their way. I would definitely recommend them for any electrical job, but, certainly look to them for generator installation!

Great Job! Both of the guys who came to my home were professional and fast. I can see why they came recommended by Jacuzzi. Everyone from the very nice lady who booked the estimate and confirmed all appointments to the estimator and technicians were great to work with. The tub hook up went so well I have booked them to come back and do a panel upgrade in a few weeks. They make it easy, all the permit work, coordinating the with city, nothing for me to do but pay the bill. All costs very reasonable with no surprises. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Calibre installed a 22kW back up generator. Jake and Luke did the install and were awesome. Calibre arranges for everything including the utility disconnect and reconnect - we were without power for about 3 hours- gas hookup and ESA certificate. When they arrived, we walked through the placement of the generator and agreed on where the wires/holes would go for the power. The day ended with the wifi set up and a quick lesson on operation. Pretty seamless install given all the moving pieces. Highly recommend.

With the increase in storm severity and repeated power outages in our area we purchased a generac whole home natural gas generator from Calibre and had them install it too. They were here early. Had all permits in place. Had coordinated shutoff and inspections to minimize the impact on our lives. We expected 6 to 8 hours but they were completely finished in under 5. They also ensured that all gas appliance pilot lights were reset after shutoff. Great experience.

Sierra patiently guided us through the installation of the special wiring for our new hot tub, and helped juggle the scheduling with the landscaper, tub delivery and required inspections. They were clear about possible difficulties we may encounter (but didn't!) The installation was clean, the electricians came promptly, and all work passed inspection. We're very happy with Calibre's work.

On March 3/23 we had Calibre Electric install a Generac generator. We couldn’t have been happier with the efficiency and professionalism of the technicians that did the installation. Everything was planned and executed in a timely manner from hydro shut off/turn on, gas hookup, installation. If you are considering any type of electrical work I highly recommend Calibre Electric.

Calibre staff hooked up our hot tub 3 years ago and did an amazing job. Today we had a newer hot tub installed (Jacuzzi for life program) and once again Calibre staff came and disconnected and reconnected our hot tub. Unorganized and did not coordinate with hydro no one knew who was digging the trench or where when they finally arrived They had to leave and left me only with the generator which they made me pay for uninstalled. Terrible
