Had a great experience here. Not without some issues, but overall the owner and manager work very hard to make things right. We stayed in the off-season (Sept), while they were still doing some landscaping so there was some debris scattered around but still better than most other campgrounds in this area. Basic amenities include a building with two basic bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink and shower. We had no hot water but Gerd had someone out within minutes to repair the water heater. Pads are gravel, nice and flat, each has an area light (on a manual switch, not auto-on/off), electrical outlet, water and (I think) sewer line at each of the 6 or 7 sites. There are also tent sites and a covered wash-sink / prep-station. Nothing glamourous, but certainly functional and superior hosts. Nice view of the mountains in the distance. Area was fairly isolated but we could still hear occasional barking dogs far in the distance. They also have a few picnic tables available to use. We had excellent contact from Gerd - very responsive on WhatsApp. We had 2 people and a car-top tent and the price was 15,000 CLP / night (we paid via PayPal in USD, around $17.50). The road to get there starts just before Skiando Rental service on Cam. A Farellones. There is a gate that needs to be opened to get in. Contact Gerd or the owner for instructions on getting past the gate. The road had some washouts and some moderately steep areas but should be accessible in 2wd vehicles if dry. If wet or snowing, a 4x4 might be helpful but not necessarily required. We had no issues in a Suzuki Vitara AWD. I would definitely stay here again.

We think: Best Camping in Santiago! Hot showers, electricity (also for campervans if you need), running water and possibilities to get rid of your sewage. You also can use the taxi service to town or ask for the laundry service (signs are in the making). The owner ,Matthias‘ was also an overlander earlier on and knows ,what we need‘ . The camping still is getting better and better, because they really are open for suggestions for improvements like for example soon they will install wifi and plant more plants so that it will get a bit more green. So if something bothers you, just say it and they will try to improve it. Also in the making: Roadsigns, so that you can find it better. Gerd ist einfach der Beste! Der Campingplatz ist etwas schwierig zu finden, aber super sauber, toller Ausblick, viel Platz, ruhig und gemütlich. Wir würden den definitiv weiterempfehlen und wiederkommen.
