I deleted my first review bc they talked a big game and had me excited. Worked w Brain(GM), Tony (floor manager, I believe) and Tammer in the end. We were originally denied at Avondale ( they also talked a big game )…. Brian called me and asked if we were still in the market. I took the time to explain to him what we just went through. I told him the floor plans we were looking at. He had a 5th wheel there they where trying to get rid of bc it’s a 2022 close out, well we said we’d come and look at it ( we are a 3 hr drive to the dealer, out here for work), the floor manager Tony, reached out to me bc he is also from San Antonio and was excited to work w fellow Texans, he also said he was gonna make it happen bc he wanted to take care of “his people”…. We went in Saturday and looked at the 2022, tho it was a pretty 5th it wasn’t what we where wanting, so we asked to give us til monday to think about it bc we really want a front living floor plan. We went back on Sunday to look at it one more time before making the drive back “home”…. Well Tony wasn’t there Sunday so Brian got us with Tammer….( Tammer is extremely knowledgeable but he’s like talking to a cold brick wall - 0 people skills - 0 enthusiasm). We inquired about a couple other 5th wheels we had seen on their website (new river) … we told him our issue w not wanting to settle for what we don’t want, explained what we want and he took us to show us a fantastic FL 5th. After us looking at a handful, we went back to the FL he originally showed us when we first got there. His words where “if I can get this at your payment, would you do it”, we not only said yes but he’ll yes. So we went and did everything we needed to in the office. Brian assured me when he first called me that he had/has 14 years of finance experience before coming to his current position. Before we left the dealer on Sunday, I walked over to Brian’s desk and told him I was counting on him bc he has my hopes up high and I’m tired of getting let down, he reassured me he had us and fiat bumped me and we left. About two weeks later after working w banks and asking for more money down we finally said we can’t do anymore down….it’s been a week or so since we got that call they just can’t do it w/o $5000 more down. I was looking on the website where we bought the camper we have now and I decided to call and speak to our original sales guy. I told him the long story and he said I got y’all, I’m a floor manager now and give me 5 mins and I’ll send you what we have on our lot. He sent me the exact same one we were trying to get and CW/NR, and I told him just that, we loved that one. So he said do the credit app and send me $500 to hold it…. We did…. The next day he told me he looked into it all and we had a talk…. Needless to say, with in 3 days WE HAVE AN APPROVAL ON A FL 5th wheel a 2024 brand new to forest river, he got us what we wanted, everything including the payment where we wanted it. 3 days!!! So, we are driving back to Texas in a couple weeks to get our new camper. Don’t work w camping world. They just wanted to sell us what was convenient for them and in our price point. One star for them being nice the whole time….

I’ve waited several months to write this review, but in all honesty I still don’t know what to make of this RV dealer. Maybe because our experience in buying a $90,000 2018 Class C motorhome was so mixed. Our salesman was fine and the technician who showed us how everything in the motorhome worked was great. And for the most part we like our new (used) RV. But there were issues, starting on the day we had a video tour of the motorhome (we are from Canada) and put down a deposit so we could come down and look at it. Later that day, the dealer’s finance person phoned and tried to get us to sign documents that would have meant we owned the RV. When we told him we had put down a deposit so we could come down and see it, he tried the old pressure technique, saying the RVs were flying off the lot and we better hurry. On our video tour we had noticed a chip out of the table and countertop. By the time we got down there, the Phoenix heat evaporated the tabletop glue, and the laminate was coming off. Maybe it was a warning sign. We still completed the deal, and the real problems began. One was that Arizona no longer immediately issues a certificate of ownership after a vehicle sale. They mail it to your home. Problem is, U.S. Customs wants to see that certificate before RVs (and all vehicles) can be exported from the country. Which meant we would need to leave the RV in the U.S. and return home and wait for the certificate (which took about 10 days to arrive) and then go back into the U.S. and bring the RV back. The finance person at the dealership, who went to great lengths telling us he sold to Canadians all the time and knew what he was doing, was not aware of this issue. (My advice to Canadians wanting to buy RVs in Arizona: Don’t. It’s a hassle having to return home without your RV and then go back and get it when you finally have all the paperwork.) We left the dealership feeling disappointed by this curve ball. And then one of the RV’s tires blew on Highway 10 less than an hour from the dealership. The tire service person who changed this tire told us the dealer had obviously sprayed all the tires with a chemical agent to make them look new. Trouble is, he said, is that this spray holds the heat in the tire, which in smoking hot Arizona weather causes them to deteriorate. We ended up replacing all seven tires at a cost of $1,600. (He also noted our 2018 vehicle had 2016 tires on it. I don’t think the dealer swapped them out. It sounds like the manufacturer cutting a corner by using old tires.) Our last surprise was when we got home and I went onto the RVs roof and noticed a large piece of it had been replaced, probably because the previous owner hit a tree or something. It would have been nice to know. We were told this RV was like new. It wasn’t.

I wish I had read the reviews on Anthem RV before doing business with this company. I had purchased a used trailer in South Dakota and upon returning found that the battery had not recharged and I could not get the trailer off of my truck. I took it to Anthem RV where the Service Manager said he could not get to it for 3 weeks. I agreed to a three-week wait. In the third week I stopped by for an update on when they might begin working on my RV. The service manager somewhat annoyed said that it would be either on Friday of that week or the first of the next week. The following week (week 4) I stopped in again to find that they had not begun working on my trailer. I inquired if it would be possible to trade my trailer in purchasing more updated model. A salesman met me in the service center and showed me one trailer. He then stated it was too hot to look for other trailers in his inventory but would be sending me a list of what was available. Two days later I received an email listing the one trailer I have seen. I stopped by with my wife and the salesman showed us the trailer. I asked him to give me a proposal with my trailer being traded in. The following day I received an email telling me that it would be preferable for me to sell my trailer on the open market and then provided the sale price for the trailer I was show. We agreed to meet at 2 PM on Saturday to see if we can reach an agreement. Upon arrival the salesmen informed me that he was” working with another customer” and that his colleague would write up the sale. I showed him that the price was substantially higher for the same model offered by other dealerships. He said “Well maybe I can take a couple hundred dollars off.” Having not heard from the salesman I went to the Service department at the beginning of week five and asked if the work on my trailer had begun. I was informed that it had not. I said “let me take it off your hands”. The service manager said okay, they brought trailer around to the front parking lot and drop it in the parking lot knowing that the electric tongue jack was not working. As I struggled with the hydraulic jack someone from the sales department came out and said that he would get the forklift and help me put it back on my truck. An hour later I took my trailer to State RV. After explaining the problem to their Service Manager accompanied me to the parking lot. In less than 10 minutes the problem had been fixed. I subsequently purchased the same model trailer that Anthem RV was offering from another dealership. The one I purchased was one year newer, in better condition, and $3000 less.

Buying my 2nd RV and decided to start here. I'm a truck driver, I work 48 states, my down time is valuable. I found a good deal on a used class C, and made an offer with 30k down, which most banks would jump on. Three days later I've heard nothing. I called and found out that because I have no debt and a good job that I don't qualify for a loan because I'm not up to my ears in credit cards... They don't want your business unless you're up to your ears in mortgage or filthy rich... AND I should have known this place was a bad one when I had to have one of the service guys find me a salesman to help me. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO SHOP FOR AN RV. This was my reply to their response... Yes, but it was your salesman who left me hanging on the lot, and never communicated with me about the financing.  Never even asked if I could afford to Increase my down payment.  If I had offered cash (and I could have), do you think I would be getting this level of service. I'm trying not to involve the bank, like you are. I'm talking about pure customer service. I could have paid cash, but you just let me slip through the cracks...  Never judge a book by its cover.  If I had treated Jay like a salesman instead of a person... well...  Think on that...

I’m gonna start off by saying I’m extremely detail oriented. I run an off-road shop as my day job and we build nothing but the best in the industry. Our standards are pretty hard to beat to say the least. Well, anthem RV did. First off, Tom the salesman was great. Extremely nice and was straight to the point. No pushy tactics, no dodging questions and great communication. Second, they had a great price on a 2007 used toy hauler that was in our budget and they got a killer interest rate for us from a very well known credit union. (Wasn’t expecting that low of a payment to be honest) Last and most importantly, they charged us $1899 for the PDI and said it’s well worth it. We had our doubts when we left thinking they were gonna just spit shine the RV and put new tires on it like we asked… We were flat out wrong! It got new tires, entire new fuel tank, new microwave, new water pump, new propane tanks and some other stuff I can’t remember. We will be back guys. Thanks again to everyone!!!

I don't do many reviews, but I think this one warrants one. Our new 45 foot Berkshire has had problems, warranty work as anyone knows takes months to schedule. Due to various issues we left it at ANTHEM RV a few months ago with the understanding if they could sell it go ahead and it was a handshake deal with the owner Phil. A few weeks ago I called to check on it and got "CAMPING WORLD" on the phone. I immediately drove down and yep, it was sitting in the back covered with dust and looked like a disaster. The new owners stepped up and got the repairs done right away, some parts not covered anymore, since the warranty expired while it was sitting there got covered, and Leslie in service communicated the entire time and kept us updated. The disappointment turned into a positive. I'd highly recommend the new location and the new owners. The old owner, not so much but he isn't in the picture anymore. Some communication from him would have been nice after the sale of the company.

We were treated great by each person we dealt with at Anthem RV. Starting with Jim at the Phoenix site. We purchased our Forest River Geo Pro in Anthem. Scott worked with us and was quite knowledgeable with all aspects of the trailer. He was patient and informative, without the typical sales pitch, very refreshing! The day of our purchase, Ron kept us updated frequently as we waited to see Mike for our walkthrough. Meeting with Mike consisted of him explaining how everything worked in the trailer, he went into detail and didn’t get tired of our questions, he was so personable! Every single employee we came in contact with was kind. Troy was our financial Mgr and again, no pressure with sales for warranties, he explained what was available and that’s it! Highly recommend this Anthem RV and we are comfortable knowing our investment is backed by them.

My husband and I just signed papers on a Fifth Wheel last night!!! Yeah! Our salesman, TOM BURKHART, was wonderful! He wasn't pushy at all. It took us 3 days before we made a decision....(this was all new to us). The first day he showed us a few different models, answered all our questions, was very congenial & helpful. The next day, we filled him in with our situation & we joked around a bit. He was very patient with us, gave us our space when needed & gave us information including helpful tips as we went along. The 3rd consecutive day, we were fairly nervous hoping we could not only decide on the right model for our needs, but our budget too. He encouraged us not to panic (as we were in a time crunch) and that he would help us the best he could. And lo & behold...he did it! So, a big THANKS to Tom Burkheart....Plus, Philip & Martin @ Anthem RV!

We were not a fan of the customer service. My boyfriend and I were looking to buy but the financing was going to be in my name. The salesman only wanted to talk to my boyfriend despite multiple requests that he either talk to me or talk to both of us in a group chat. When we made an initial offer they basically blew us off even though we shared links to multiple comparable RVs at better prices. But they could give us no reasoning as to why this RV that was in less good shape was priced more. So we assumed they were not going to consider our offer. We were even comparing to other Camping World locations so we thought our offer was quite fair based on what the market looked like. After 3 days they got back with us and suddenly then wanted to work with us. All in all we will just do business elsewhere that wont waste our time.

We bought our motor home from Anthem RV 2 years ago. From the moment we stepped on the lot we were treated like family. Our salesman, Tom, called us “his people” and his knowledge and courteous manner made us feel like we really were. The financial transaction went quickly snd smoothly. But the best part of Anthem RV is the service department. They are also knowledgeable and courteous and do an excellent job to get us on the road in a timely manner. Leslie is such a pleasure to deal with! I know I can count on her to go above and beyond. She remembers everything we say... even if we forget! Mark is also professional and gracious and gets the job done. This service department is excellent. When we get our RV back it is clean and everything is completed. We value our relationship with Anthem RV and highly recommend them.

My husband and I might be in need of a trailer to live in for a little while. So we decided to go into Camping world on Black canyon highway. Went checked it in the office soon we were greeted with Freddy. Looked at several Trailers two different occasions. Freddy's amazing camping world has a wide variety of trailers different types sizes with lots of features. When it came to Camping world staff Freddy he was very knowledgeable he knew his stuff. We wanted to make sure that a trailer would stay cool in the Arizona heat. They happen to have one that was running. They made sure we knew everything about the trailer we were looking at and the other ones that we were looking at. I highly recommend them to anybody looking to purchase a trailer for camping or to live in. Thank you Camping world for your wonderful staff.

I rented an RV several states away. Upon arriving in Arizona I found out my “Twist-lock 30-30 dog-bone” was missing. Without it I could not hook up to electricity. Everywhere I checked no one had it. I drove several places, called others. About 4 or 5 hours into my search I arrived at Camping World of New River. I had the great pleasure of meeting Leslie in the parts and accessories department. She did not have the part but said she could find one. She called several places that only a local would know about. She was tenacious. She finally found the “dog-bone” a little ways away. It was worth the drive. I was very impressed by her customer care, knowledge and tenacity. I mentioned this to Brian, I think he was the manager. He knew he had a really incredible team working there.

Bought a Thor Quantum with 3k miles on it. Take it home after a very much less than just OK experience, and find out when we left and we’re then trying to hit the road that we had almost no gas in the RV (3/4 of a tank missing, $200 to fill it up), it needs an oil change (another $200), had no second set of keys as promised ($400 to order), a broken cabinet ($?), and a very unsafe surprise in the center dashboard, easily showing that it was not thoroughly walked through or detailed as was paid for and mandatory to pay for to pick up the vehicle. Advice: demand the details, don’t allow anyone to rush you, and check your fluids before you leave the lot. The second star is for the sales guy who was actually very kind. Do better, guys. People are investing a lot here.

This dealership and sales representative were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the coach we were looking at purchasing. We were warmly greeted from the moment we pulled in and were treated with respect and appreciation. Tammer, our sales rep, was extremely knowledgeable about the coach, options that were available, and the choice of upgrading the coach we were looking at, or ordering a coach from Brookstone with all the options we wanted. We were so impressed with the ability to outfit the coach with our particular needs we ended up buying it from Anthem RV. Super friendly staff and very knowledgeable technicians. My wife and I have been looking at 5th wheels for many years. We finally found a home Anthem RV.

We just purchased a 2018 Renegade Isata 5 series from Anthem and drove back to Utah. Very impressed with the unit, it's quality and performance. Tammer was very knowledgable about the unit, way above average. We felt no pressure, just a concern to teach us about the rig and answer questions that we had. After purchase, and because we are advancing in years, he helped us transfer our belongings from old to new. We are confident that he will be able to help us with any future questions that we may have. Tammer, because you were so helpful, we have decided to rename our rig, Tammer! Not to leave out Jerry who did a great job orientating. Also, Phil graciously accepted the check :)

Phil was great to work with. He got us into our perfect unit based on our budget. Bill did a great job on our walk through at time of purchase. He was very thorough and went through things in detail and explained it easily to understand. Even the team in the parts shop helped us get some items for the unit that Bill suggested in the walk through. Would highly recommend them. An update. We took the rig out for Memorial Day weekend. Had an issue with figuring out our auto level jacks error code. Called their service dept and both Mark and Mike were very helpful over the phone with us. Great customer service when you need it the most ... on the road. Great job guys !!

I found a Holiday Rambler listed online and drove from the Palm Springs area to Phoenix to look at the RV. My wife and I spent several hours with Joey who was very knowledgeable and helpful showing us the ins and outs of this particular RV. Took it for a test drive and was impressed with how it handled the road (narrow lanes and curves on a freeway) and the engine power (no trouble climbing hills). Eventually worked with Brian who carefully explained all the financials and patiently addressed some of our concerns. Unfortunately for Brian we had to walk away from his somewhat generous counter offer because we are very early in our search for a Class A motorhome.

If you need anything returned, order parts for your rig or anything in general, don’t go here. Terrible costumer service. The crack head lady in the service department is rude, combative with costumers and unprofessional. Instead of trying to help me or finding solutions to help me with my issue (I.E. just simply doing her job) she looked for every excuse not to do her job. Kept saying “their system isn’t set up to take orders, do returns or even pull up past invoices from items costumer’s may have purchased at other camping world locations.” Extremely negligent. Do yourselves a favor, save yourself a huge headache and go somewhere else.

My wife and I have been looking for a very specific travel trailer and we found it at this Camping World. I actually found it online, was contacted by Justine who was able to answer some questions we had about the model and then spoke to a very helpful salesman, JP. We basically bought the vehicle online, because it was exactly what we had been looking for. JP and Anna, the finance person, got all of our paperwork done, the trailer was detailed out with what we wanted and we drove to New River/Anthem to pick it up the next weekend. It wax a great sales experience with the help of a great staff. Thanks again for all of the help

We had a slight miscommunication about the price of our travel trailer when we sat down to ink the deal, but Chris and Phil were very helpful in resolving everything to our satisfaction. We added a couple of extra items to the trailer and found everyone in the Service Dept to be beyond friendly and helpful. Mike walked us through everything on the trailer answering all of our MANY questions with knowledge and patience. He was exceptional in making us feel totally comfortable before we drove off the site. We highly recommend Anthem RV!

Honestly... we really wanted to get into a camper and we went in an with hardly any info were told that our credit didn't qualify and it was down in the low 500s which is not correct... I dont think they even ran our credit at all and they just kinda waved us off like no biggie. It is what it is though and we ended up getting an amazing camper for way less in perfect condition from a private seller. The customer service was not it and I'm glad we walked and didn't push to get anything from them.

Sales and service are exemplary. I bought my first RV from the show this past May and took an extended trip two days after I took delivery. Mark, service mgr, was always available to take my calls when I found myself out of my comfort zone and discovered You Tube / owners manuals woefully lacking. When it's time to 'trade up,' I'll definitely go back to Anthem RV. EDIT; my review was pertaining to my experience with Anthem RV. NOT Camping World. I have no experience with Camping World.

I just had an exceptional experience with Camping World in Avondale Arizona. What made it exceptional was the level of attentiveness, product knowledge and efficiency throughout the process. Our sales person Tammer offered us the perfect RV selection for our needs. Took all the time we needed to understand the product and did not make the process about what was best for him or the dealership. Instead he focused on us and ultimately won our business. Was recommended by a union brother that he had a great experience here. Came here to purchase my first camper. Tammer was great on listening to what we needed. He knew the inventory well and to top it off he got us a great deal on our fifth wheel. Martin helped to work his magic on getting me and fiancé financed. Formerly Anthem RV, was bought in June 2022 by Camping World. They are transition with RV brands, store items and computer software. We bought a travel trailer last year from them, when it was Anthem RV. I took it back for warranty in April and got it back as Camping World bought them out. It was pretty slow. I would suggest to go see and talk to them. They seem to be very honest about time frames on parts, repairs and have a wide range of RVs and prices.

We purchased our new Rockwood 2509S from Paul at Anthem RV a few weeks ago. I felt like they were fair on price and I was happy with Paul's level of communication from the time I first contacted them. I liked Martin the finance guy, he gave the info regarding extended warranty, but wasn't pushy. My only complaint is that there is a scuff on one door that the walk-through guy said was normal. I'll be contacting Paul about it bc it isn't on any other door.

We bought our first RV from Camping World. Tammer was super knowledgeable and great to work with! He was patient with us, answered all our questions and treated us well throughout the entire process. The staff were incredibly friendly including Michelle who greeted us and made us feel welcomed. Tabitha and Danny did a great job of prepping our new trailer and walking us through all of the fine details. Overall, we had a very pleasant buying experience!

Cynthia was a fantastic sales person. I had a unique situation. Living out of state but my trade was in AZ. She was extremely helpful finding units that fit my needs before I traveled to the valley. I looked at a few units at other dealers and did not get the customer service experience that she provided so I ultimately purchased from her. I am extremely happy with my 2023 Kodiak Cub and highly recommend Cynthia to anyone looking at purchasing an RV.

We purchased our travel trailer last September and we took it to Camping World New River for our first service. We were not disappointed by the level of service from Leslie, let's call her the service rep, and Jerry who performed the service. The turn around time was faster than we had hoped for and we are looking forward to our next outing thanks to Leslie & Jerry. We highly recommend this company for your next service!

My partner and I purchased our first RV with Tammer from Anthem RV in 2017. Our experience with Tammer and the dealership was so positive that when we recently decided to change to a different style of RV we had to return to Tammer. We found exactly what we were looking for! Tom was great and let us shop with ease. No pressure and he was there when we had questions. Smooth purchase and Bob was absolutely amazing with our walkthrough! So detailed and knowledgeable! I would give five stars but the only downfall was dirty offices. Old takeout, dirty dishes and food odor were a bit of a turnoff.

I really enjoyed doing business here, my sales girl Cynthia seemed to know and realize just what I needed and the deal was the fastest safest deal I've ever made i dont even think i had spent a whole hour there and i was heading home feeling Great about what i had bought and how i was treated as i will always come back here to do any RV business, thank you

We called this place on a camper they had for sale about 6 months ago and ever since, Sarah and her team call and leave a message at least once a week although we have already emailed a manager asking for the communications to stop. We're not sure how to stop being contacted by camping world but harassment is not a good way to make a sale.

Knew what I wanted, and I was ready to buy. Tammer and their finance team made the deal happen, with straightforward negotiation. I honestly expected to show up and be let down. I got there at 9am, I left around noon, with the Coleman 17B, and everything I needed. I'll be back to Camping World in New River for my future RVs. Thank y'all!

We had a great experience buying our camper with Keith, Phil and John at Anthem. We were coming from out of state and all three were so helpful. We had a great lesson on the coach without being rushed, the paperwork was quick and ready to go and all of our questions are answered, even months after purchase. Overall five star experience!

Recently purchase a travel trailer and it was great customer service from Freddy that took care of me to Anna in finance the whole crew was amazing. I even showed up early to pick up my travel trailer and instead of making me wait I was taken care before my schedule time. Thanks new River camping world keep up the great work

I had a very pleasant visit to camping world when shopping for a toy haller, even though they did not have what I was looking, I was very pleased by the attention given by the staff, in particular Cynthia! Who showed me different options within my price range and kept in touch with new inventory from stores nearby.

What a great team. These guys are so professional, but still fun! From Tom in sales, to Daniel (on the walk through inspection) and then to Ana in the business office, we could not have had a better experience. I can happily recommend Camping World to everybody who wants freedom and fun. We LOVE CAMPING WORLD!!!!!

Stopped in this morning just to browse. My salesperson, Lisa was great. Even though I made it clear I wasn't ready to buy just yet she still took the time to show me everything I wanted to see and answer all my questions. When the time comes and I'm ready I'll definitely go to Camping World.
