My wife and I wanted a pharmacist to witness a signature for our 5 month old infant for a children's passport on a Sunday night. In this instance the pharmacist wanted to charge $5 for this service. Normally I wouldn't care too much for this except: 1. Other pharmacies (including non-discount pharmacies) would provide this at no charge as a gesture of goodwill 2. the pharmacist avoided contact with us and had his assistant to tell us (she appeared apprehensive to inform us as if she was expecting verbal abuse) 3. the pharmacist was too busy talking to a child on speakerphone about bedtime whilst dispensing a prescription in front of a customer 4. it seemed that we were being treated like mugs At no point we were angry or abusive and was happy to wait for the pharmacist to finish his dispensing. However, it was obvious that this gentleman saw us as a pair of freeloading peasants and felt entitled to charge us as we didn't appear to buy anything from the store. This was even more apparent when he didn't acknowledge us and took an ivory tower approach by having his assistant inform us about a $5 charge for two signatures. In contrast, the pharmacy down the road had a pharmacist willing to talk to us, sign our documents, greeted our infant and even offered a balloon (politely declined but appreciated the gesture). Although other people (including the pharmacist on duty) might think that people should just move on and get over it, who in the right mind would want to come back if you are treated as an inconvenience because you weren't "buying stuff". I felt empathetic to the assistant which served us as I felt she was being thrown under a bus by this pharmacist. Anyway, that was my experience at this particular Discount Drug Store. As an aside, the child that the pharmacist was talking to over speakerphone managed to go to bed, so it's all good.

Disappointing place. On 19 March at about 2.50pm a Caucasian male, casual navy shirt, about 35 years old assisted my inquiry at the dispensary. I do not believe he was the manager. I asked for the price of a medication and he quoted a price within the 100s. I said I have been buying for around $37. He said he is able to get it down to that price for $38. I looked at my phone and said what Chemist Warehouse sells for, $37.40. He said well, rounding it off it's $38. I am very upset that he thinks he can beat the system and thinks the customer is stupid. It's not the 60 cents difference that I care about, it's your price match policy that this person should be aware about that he did not apply. I've never heard of rounding off price. It's very misleading. Should be a price match.

Very impressed and satisfied with the service there. I normally go to Chemist Warehouse next door to get my medical needs but after a few bad experiences I decided to go to the Campsie Drug Store. The pharmacist was very helpful and knowledgeable but there was a staff member there called Erin who went above and beyond for her customers. While I was waiting for meds to be ready I watched her serving customers in the store and then came to me twice to check if I was being looked after. No chemist I’ve ever experienced customer service at that level. Thank you Erin for providing exceptional customer service especially during covid lockdown times.Excellent Service!!!

I'm fairly sure they're not qualified pharmacists, firstly asking if it was my script.... I'm a female and my son has a very masculine name. Secondly 4 pharmacists on site and it took over 30 minutes to fill a script and I was the only customer! Talking about your weekend plans don't interest me when I have my baby boy fresh out of surgery waiting in the heat of the car with my baby daughter and husband in a limited parking spot. Also I don't care about your computer problems and who was meant to fix them. Just do your job.... If you even know what that is...

Don't people know that if the supplier's price increases then so too does the price to the customer?!? When no one could source RAT kits anywhere this pharmacy did and they paid a premium to do so and that gets passed on to us ... the consumer. Other businesses were charging $30, $40 and $50 for the same product. Good on them for getting to us the product we all wanted when we wanted it during a time when no one else was prepared to or able to assist. Excellent community service from an excellent pharmacy and staff.

Most rude mannerless employees in the front. Actually its just one white girl with blond hair colour. She donts have courtesy to talk with the customer. Every people have there own way. It doesnt mean you keep on stalking as if they gonna steal or run away. If someone in unknown regarding the product you make sure how its used, not you force to buy it. Please have a kind suggestion either give them proper training to deal or else get new employee. Thanks

Very thankful to the two female pharmacists (didn't take down their names, I should have) who caught the error in my GP's prescription - I was prescribed something containing steroids which is not suitable for a heavily pregnant women. They took their time explaining the potential effects, looked at my condition and even suggested alternatives. I wont be going back to that GP again, but I will certainly be frequenting this pharmacy!

I've been a customer of this chemist for a number of years and have always received professional and friendly service. Greg, AJ, Joanne and their team are extremely caring people and have always looked after me and my family very well. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they often exceed my expectations. Don't bother with the other pharmacies in Campsie, just head straight to the Discount Drug Store!

staff doesn't know what medicine is for what age group(in kids)and pharmacist/ owner is also an absolute disappointment to the community their medical qualifications should be checked by relevant authorities as they might get a child end up in hospital for not providing the medication appropriate for relevant age groups keep out from this place don't buy from here simple as that

Please update your signage infront of your store. It says you open till 9pm, but online it says till 8pm. I’m not sure if this is a recent trading hours change. But other than that, I always appreciate my experience at this chemist. The customer service is always good

  • Nyrie

Fantastic service - beyond helpful and lightening fast. After spending too many hours waiting in chemist warehouse for grudging service, I found this pharmacy delightfully attentive and caring. I wouldn’t (and don’t) go anywhere else.

These guys are always great and despite the abundant pharmacies in the area I always make sure to go to them. Friendly and helpful pharmacists and staff, and always offer to go the extra mile to assist. Greg and Lily(?) are awesome

Staff named Julia was so rude with me. She needs help and learn customer service. I was regular customer but not anymore. Because of her im choosing chemist house otherwise i loved the product and service. Thanks.

Pharmacist on duty was helpful compared to other chemists in the Campsie area when I was trying to buy subsidised blood glucose test strips as a newly diagnosed diabetes patient with no NDSS card.

  • Rahul Subramanian Bharadwaj

Do not buy face masks from here. 100 masks for a $120!! Rip-off! Chemist warehouse down the road is almost half the price. Nothing ‘discount’ about this store!!

  • alex chehab

Opening RAT test packages and selling them individually for $20 each with with no instructions. Taking advantage of the situation. Greedy pr#ks

  • Shicool Yasmin

Dob these guys in. They've been price gouging throughout the pandemic, how sick and demented can you be to charge $20 FOR A SINGLE TEST.

  • Amrita Manandhar

Very bad customer service specially the front staff, every thing is very expensive, they are selling mask in doubled price,$40 a box.

  • Cj Master

Great people and great services. Greg goes way above and beyond for his costumers, I would recommend this chemist to everyone.
