I love this REAL Canada Post office. It's in the heart of Stittsville's village center, just like 100 years ago, on main street, stand alone, not inside a drugstore in a mall, Real post office. The lady before me is going to mail more stuffs and take longer time, she found I only have one item and she let me go before her to save my time, thank you, my lady, you make my day. The lady staff here is VERY PREFESSONAL and polite and friendly, when she knew I'm mailing a medical device to my uncle, she put a fragile sticker for me, the whole process is very pleasant and quick like 1 minute and very enjoyable. Yes, I only see ONE staff here, Yes there're two customers before me when I arrived and I have to wait a few minutes, but the wait time is much less than at Costco or at Wal-mart and if you smile and chat to the person next to you, you will find no time to wait, just a happy chat time here !!! I dislike everything about this Canada Post. Their hours are inconvenient if you work standard daytime hours, and they are SLOW. Theres always a line up out the door because there’s always only 1-2 terribly trained employees running running the place and it’s a main office, not some drug store back counter. Unfortunately this is the only CP office in this entire suburb. So the traffic naturally would be higher. They’ve even lost packages that were confirmed to be delivered to this office. I have no idea how this is remotely close to acceptable, it blows my mind. Seriously, something needs to be done here because nothing about this situation is ok.

The closest Canada post for the community of Stittsville folks who live near Mainstreet. A convenient location to commute and deliver your post. The only thing I want to highlight is long queue when you visit this location. Usually you only have one person behind the desk to help you with processing your mail. How fast and efficient they work the inadequate manpower leads to long queues which can be something they can address and help the community.

GREG is the person who locked the door early. I arrived at 11:50am which is 10 minutes before the closing time. The door is already locked. I got a chance to walk in when a customer opened the door. Greg refuse to serve me at 11:54am. Looks Greg did not resist to give me the name and didn’t care about the complaint or report to their higher level management. Just wondering are they trained this way???

The community Canada Post mailbox kiosk was vandalized in late June 2023. So we need to go to the nearest Canada Post office to pick up our letters and others. The lady staff there is very polite and quick. She even apologized for the inconvenience caused by the vandalism (not their fault). Parking is located in the back. Convenient location.

Delivery staff always claims to have "attempted delivery" when they don't even stop at your location. Ups, purolator etc never do this and are actually dependable, not too mention they don't go on strike every other christmas. I cannot believe public funds are used to keep this washed up useless company afloat.

I guess they just disconnect the phones for the day? . As someone who works in the East end Mon-Fri and can't make it during opening hours it's very disappointing that I can't even get a phone call in either. I've had a package just sitting there for a week now with no way of getting it.

Why close the counter at the IDA? At least service there was reasonable. This main office is horrible. Slow, slow, slow. One person, line up out the door...in summer. Now winter, with flu season at its peak, people will be packed like sardines and of course, few wearing masks.

Really fast and good quality service today. I had two packages with completely different issues. Before I finished my first two sentences, she was already telling me what was needed. The time before was pretty slow but I think that lady was fairly new. Both were kind people.

This is the worst Post Office there is The lady dose not know what she is doing went there twice Just wanted to sent a regular Mail letter to Switzerland I waited over 30 minutes for her to figure out the cost she was not able too has taken the envelope back with me

Absolutely awful service. I go in 5 minutes before the end of the day with an email stating my parcel is ready and the lady behind the counter told me to come back tomorrow as she locks the door behind me.

Very slow service. Only one employee and a long line up. CanadaPost please add additional person or train your employees to be able to process customer business faster.

Where is the phone number? Surely we should be able to phone in to ask for basic information and rates in these covid times.

Also found the employee wearing her mask under her chin. So it’s not a one off. Very disappointing. Went somewhere else.

Never get any packages on time. Processing delay and the item is lost. Happened 3 times in 4 months till now.

The main room smelt like cigarette smoke and the lady at the front overcharged me on a letter-mail envelope.

Staff was wearing an ill-fitted mask that hung off their chin. Didnt seem to understand my concern.

They said they tried to deliver package while I was at house all day. They didn’t deliver.

Absolute worst canada post. The hours posted on the website are wrong.

Slow sloppy service. 2 cash registers, 1 attendant.
