This store is one I would not recommend to send a card to a loved one or for any type of business, etc. One staff member is the rudest person I have ever met in the Yonge and Bloor area of stores after living here for more than 30 years. The owner should be embarrassed to employ this individual who is technically representing the Canadian postal services. The owner was also not aware that when an employee of hers ‘slams’ a door on the customer that this is unacceptable on all levels. This store requires retraining on customer service etiquette, anger management and just decent human interaction. As an owner please re-educate yourself on training of staff and taking appropriate steps to reprimand an aggressive employee. Maybe some professional retraining would help this store be better to others in the future. My business will be taken elsewhere. Thank you.
I was there on the 19th of December and it was quite empty and I felt lucky at this time of year to get service that quickly. The guy at the other end surprised me by being EXTREMELY RUDE and kept asking me ridiculous questions like “ is there anything else” when I had laid 5 packages in front of him. After each package he asked me the same question. On top of that when it was time to pay, he just left me and went to the other till because he had sent his co-worker to “go get coffee for him”. There was an old lady asking for stamps and I can not believe how rude he was to her. It was unbelievably disrespectful and he just seemed like an A$$#@||€ in general. I understand why there were less people there, because I personally would never go back there to do my business.
The worst customer service I ever had in my life. That guy called Joe very unresponsible and rude...I went to ask about what I sent to my country and he told me that it is lost!! What kind of answer is that.?? Nothing profesional and it makes me think that he is not honest.... I was wrapping in front of him my moms birthday gift, he saw everything I have inside.... if he told me that someone may stole my envelope.? I'm suspecting about him, perhaps he took what I wanted to send and it's truly sad I have been waiting for too long... I am so disapointed... You have to be careful with the kind of people who must may the things right and transparent, I think they need more control !! Specially if the are representing a big company like canada post.
Joe (the manager/ short one at the counter) needs an attitude adjustment. He doesn't seem to realize that (we) the customers' keep him employed. I hate going to this location, but do so since it's very close to my home, and convenient for me. I think I'll be better off taking taxi to a different post office to do my business, and I'll be doing just that. He needs to spend more time OFF the phone, and attend to customers. He always seems to run into the back room whenever he sees a customer walk in that requires assistance. He has very poor customer service, and little to no patience at all. He needs customer service training.
Asked the fellow at the canada post counter where the passport application forms are, he just said "on the left". Walked around the store clueless and then asked him again he said "on the left" again. After a 3rd try he finally pointed out where it was and was extremely rude about it. Why he could not point it out the first time I asked is beyond me. Learn how to be customer-oriented and try to act like you care, you get paid to work there.
I have received some broken items in my order and applied for refund after returning the item through mail two months ago. Its been more than 2 months now and I have not received my refund. The customer service is very poor and they dont provide the exact status of the refund case. This was the first time I ordered some thing and I am very much disappointed.
WATCH OUT FOR OVER CHARGE! I was sending two letters to overseas and one letter is heavier than the other. The shorter guy who was helping me was weighing both letters by hand and then he put the heavier one on the scale and used that weight to charged me for both letters. He should weigh each one separately! Watch out for that!
It is unfortunate that every time someone has had a bad experience they write a review.... I had a great experience at this location. The staff were friendly. I left my driver's license and they dropped it off at my building. I am grateful. Great service/ they did something they could have ignored but chose not to !
I have been a customer of this Canada Post location for more than 10 years. I live nearby and so send and pick up a lot of my packages (mainly from Amazon) here. The service has always been quick and efficient. I consider my easy access to this location as one of the perks of living near Yonge and Bloor.
if you drop the box here for Fedex, Canada post is going to take 1 day to send it to Fedex and that eats into your delivery time. I wanted the delivery ASAP and they did not tell me this. Pathetic service for someone who is operating below the Indian embassy and deals with urgent document requests!
I was overcharged at this location to send out an oversized letter. The staff was very certain that I had to pay the overstated price. I didn’t realize the wrong price until I looked up the rates online later. Will not use their services again.
I absolutely love going to this location for mailing out packages and receiving items for pick-up! The staff are very friendly and extremely efficient! If you looked up multitasking in a dictionary, you may find the staff as the search image.
If operational hours must be reduced to 4 hrs, can they not be rotated to include a four hour period later in the eveneing, perhaps from 3 PM to 7 pm? It is difficult to make it there to pick a package with the current hours.
On this Canada Post I had a friendly and excellent customer service. They helped me out and answered my questions about the best parcel/envelope. Keep helping the customer with a smile.
Closes half an hour early everyday. The guy at the counter is so rude and starts to act passive aggressive if you refuse his attempt to upsell mailing services.
Incompetent. Gave me someone else's package. Phone number provided goes directly to a fax machine. Ridiculously early hours to close for a business centre.
Actually the worst hours a canada post can have. I would need to leave my work an hour early just to accomodate my own pickup...
Working hours should be revised.weekday hours are 8:00 to 18:00 - Sunday is closed. Not sure about saturday's hours.
I picked up a package, it was quick and easy, and the staff were very nice to me and others in the queue.
Sent 3 registered letters and was helped promptly and professionally and with respect. Thank you
Satisfied with dropping off parcel here. No problems, not that busy in morning either.
Totally agree with Eva! Although the line up is long, they are fast and efficient!!
Friendly staff but small place and can have long lines during business peak time
1-page photocopy cost 4 dollars each!! Ridiculous
"Joe" at the post office was very rude.
Convenient place and good service.
Reliable and super friendly
Very good and fast service
Great service.
