Review on 360 Checking: Do not recommend if you are expecting banking service compared to major banking institutions. What do I mean: Many ATMs in your area, working ATMs, access to your payroll deposits one day before a holiday. I opened my 360 checking account last month. Set up my direct deposit on December 12, because the 1st was a holiday, my deposit was available January 4th. Not even pending on the 31st or a portion of my money available. Two ATMs in my area inside Target were not working. The one in Pflugerville was out of order and the one in Round Rock was not processing withdrawals. Customer Service is okay; however, they are limited based on the institutions abilities. Would not recommend this account to working families. Might be okay for students who are not conducting major financial transactions on a daily basis. Cap One can and SHOULD do SO much better! Fix your ATMs promptly (Target in Pflugerville indicated your ATM has been down for days). Stock your ATMs with money to withdraw - access to our money. Give customers a reason to stay. Update 01-16-2021.... A week later the Pflugerville ATM is 'still' down. Now Pflugerville residents will need to travel to Round Rock or The Domain to access a Cap One ATM. This fact smmarizes my review.

Tory and Crystal were amongst the most welcoming and sweetest representatives I've ever met. I wanted to hang out with them. Lol. Anyway, back to the reason we were there...To pay on my husbands capital one card. I am also a capital one card holder but I had already paid my bill on the app. The payment process went smoothly for him and Tory gave us a couple of free drink cards since it was our first time utilizing the Capital One Cafe. I had a Mocha Latte at their cafe and it tasted very good! The lady who made my coffee was also attentive from the moment she saw me until I made a decision on which drink I wanted. Crystal also took the time to let us know about the designated areas for students for studying and Tory let us know about the days they have board games among other things. When back in the Domain area I will definitely stop in and utilize this Cafe bank more even if it's just to stop in and say hello to Tory and Crystal! Thank you Ladies!

Whoever came up with the "Cafe Banking" idea in boardroom meetings should be fired. This is terrible. Really bad. If you are looking to do (domestic/ international) transactions, wire money, transfer funds, make cashier check, etc, Capital One Cafe can not help you. It's a waste to even visit this "bank". I have nothing against the employees (who are well-mannered) but they don't have the authority and means to do banking. They have to call the HQ to get the info on banking while you have to wait. And even then you are directed to a website or some branch. One time, they told me to go to Cedar Park "branch" to get transactions done and when I went, that too is bunch of people sitting behind laptops and can't do anything. Capital One has NO real branch in AUSTIN. When the COVID situation subsides, I am switching to a real bank with actual branch and services. Capital One customer for 15 years but no more.

I do not like Capital One Bank system in which they did away with tellers. It is extremely inconvenient because you can only withdraw a small amount through ATM machines. To withdraw a large amount, you have to get approval through another rep by phone. The Rep on the phone doesn’t even know all of Capital One policy in which you can withdraw a larger sum. The rep said I can have the large sum available for three days, but I went back to ATM machines, and I couldn’t withdraw this money. Of course, there wasn’t an ambassador available at the Georgetown branch. Ambassador at the domain branch is very nice but it is such a lengthy process to get money with drawn, over 50 minutes for me to get my own money. I do not have the time me to go through this process again and again. I would have given it a 1 Star, but staffs are nice so I give them 2 stars instead.

This is a great place if you’re needing a coffee fix. But if you’re looking for a bank, well, that’s basically been reduced to 2 ATM machines off in the corner. The bank employees are there to sell you “services” (can you even call them services when there’s no actual customer service involved?) and to point you to the ATM machines and bathrooms. They cannot handle money, deposit checks or anything you might actually expect from a bank. And the parking stinks. Either compete for the scarce street parking half a block down, or park in a parking garage and walk a few blocks. The competing bank a couple of blocks away has a parking lot for their customers. They claim all banks are going this way, but from what I can tell, they’re leading the charge against their customers. I’ve found a real bank to do business with, not a coffee shop ATM machine.

It's an amazing cafe dont have any complaints for their staff. However, beware of their ATMS. I went in to deposit money into my account but the ATM just shut off on me, taking my money, not crediting my account and just spit my debit card out. I was surprised that at the capital one cafe, with lots of ATMS, that they don't have somebody on call or standby to deal with these issues. The staff was amazing though, calling the capital one hotline and working to get the issue taking care of . But thats another thing, why don't the representative at the Cafe have access to the system to be able to help customers out? Seems like they should streamline the SOP to make it more efficient.

What in the name of heck is the point of this place? I walked in trying to get help with my account, and they said they can't do banking, this is just a cafe. Why does Capital One list this as a branch? Why do they even run coffee shops? Like, I'm not crazy here. I didn't walk up to the Peet's Coffee counter and order a mocha and a checking account. There's a row of people with computers just to tell you that if you need help with your Capital One account you need to go downtown or to Cedar Park. I'm *baffled.* Honestly, I hope this trend doesn't continue, because I'm going to be furious if I book an appointment with a dermatologist one day only to arrive and find out that location doesn't do skin care, just freshly baked waffles and artisanal stationary.

Capital One Cafe is a benefit for the bank “account holders and for future account holders” to have Coffee while working. The place clearly is not a bank branch. It’s magical and for positive people who are looking to be happy. This is an amazing way to make customers happy by having an spectacular place to work and relax on their days off, or for the ones who work from home, to get out of their home. For students and anyone else, with coffee? A free place to work from your bank, for me is wonderful. I have my bank account and credit cards with Capital one and I love all about Capital One. Please call me to work there that’s all I need to be even happier.

  • Evgeny Z

ATM ate my 2$k. Did not give a receipt too. On-site bank representative cannot assist with even getting an official statement or receipt with time that atm ate my money. only templated response to call claims dept. which says there are 10 days to “potentially” receive credit “while claim is processed”. Final decision is made “after” 45 days. This is wild, never using capital one again and will be cancelling capital one debit card right after this is resolved. Coffee here is fine.

I’m very disappointed to Capital One, the staff at this location is there but it feels like they’re actually not there, they don’t approach you, when you ask for something, they barely care, only a tall young man did look happy and caring. The rest very distracted talking and didn’t even offered me and my boyfriend to open an account. I noticed most of the tables don’t have outlets to work. Only shared stations and by the window, including the work rooms with glass doors, have not outlets and feel a little warm. I like better other locations. Sorry for the feedback.

I will be coming back to this location next time I visit Austin. Everything about this place was amazing. The inside feels very clean and quiet. The service was fantastic! Crystal from capital one single handedly kept me as a capital one customer today. I was having some aggravating issues with my account and she went out of her way to help me with all my issues in a timely manner. If it wasn’t for her, I would’ve still been having these issue and unable to pay my rent so thank you once again!

Who would have thought, a coffee shop and a bank? What's next, a bread store in a tire store? Seriously good coffee. I got a latte and was very very pleased. A strong flavor with depth. The foam was significant and hot. Something most people don't understand. If you want to hang out and study, you can do that. If you want to talk with friends, you can do that as well. And,, if you are Chase patron, the coffee is very cheap. I would come here if all they did was serve coffee. Being in the Domaine, it is a treasure.

  • Arvin Poole

I frequent the Peet’s Capital One Domain location at least 4 days / week. By far the best coffee and banking experience I’ve had...EVER. Not to forget, A1 service from the friendly staff who’s always helpful and accommodating whenever I need to book a room for work. Capital One has done a great job in being innovative and creative by stepping out of the norm from traditional banking. 2 things I wish they had: power outlets in the nooks and earlier hours (8 AM) to grab a cup before work.

  • Rekka Walker

Marlene, Teresa, Brittany, Lauren, An, Yareli & Chris are the friendliest staff around the Domain! Every time my fiance and I visit we are not only greeted with soft caring voices, but they remember our orders regardless of us wanting hot or cold beverages. We are so happy to have them in our neighborhood, as they're truly a hidden gem!

Wow! I'm in love!!! I may have to start knowing all the Capital One Cafe locations instead of Starbucks locations. Large open area, plenty of space and different type of seating options. The chair height to table height is much better than all the new starbucks. Much more conducive to working or reading. And half off coffee if you have Capital One credit or debit cards. Spectacular!!!! The coffee was good and the banana bread was much tastier and less oily than Starbucks.

  • Megan Dyer

For years we walked by this hidden gem thinking it was just a bank, but little did we know it would be our favorite coffee spot! The coffee and tea is consistent, the space is perfect for working, they always have promotions, and best of all is the staff, especially Marlene. We go there several days per week and Marlene always meets us with smiles, conversation, and our favorite drinks. She is pretty much the best and this is our go-to spot at the Domain and North Austin.

  • Lupe Villarreal

It's a bit over prices and yes I have capitol one card and I like to pay in cash what I don’t like is when you turn in the little credit card reader over and suggest I leave a 35% tip on $15. It’s $4.80 for somebody does pouring me my coffee and to make things worse. The serve is suggested that I leave my five dollars there for them and just handed me a cup of coffee, absurd behaviour, insulting my intelligence, save your money and going to Starbucks down the road.

  • Amal Bouabdelli

This review is about the service at this location. It is not about the efficiency of Capital one's services as a bank. I went there to try to solve an issue with my deposit not fully refunded but they don't have the necessary control at this Branch to solve that kind of issue, that's the reason of the missing star, However, their associate "Fernando" made a call to have the case resolved. He was very nice, helpful, professional and informative.

Whenever I find myself in the domain, this is my go to coffee place to bring my laptop and do some remote work. It has a great atmosphere, I can always find a place to sit and it is usually quiet. Great place to have a coffee with a friend or a client. Highly recommend over any other coffee place. Way better than Starbucks

My favorite cafe to come to! You get 50% off drinks when paying with a Capital One debit card or credit card. Plenty of free parking in parking garage next door. There are three ATMs here that also accept cash deposits. Two small nook type meeting rooms anyone can use. Also two big meeting rooms that I think are by reservation. Plenty of seats and tables. Strong WiFi and clean bathrooms!

I've stopped by to use the atm a few times in the past.I love using capital One as a bank.Just wish there was a drive up option.I don't want to keep getting looked at as if I'm trying to rob anyone when I just want to take out my own money. This morning when I saw the employees walk in to the Cafe look at me and pull the door several times as if I was trying to get in.I have never been on or wanted to use the Cafe part

Capital one is hands down one of the most trustworthy, affordable, convenient, and overall amazing financial service out there. This location is a bank paired with a Peet's coffee shop; it has wifi so you can get some great food and work. They're open to everyone, but if you're a capital one customer you get 50% off on Peet's coffee.

As I walked down Congress street in search of the nearest Starbucks. The overwhelming feeling of waiting in line for more of that same old, boring coffee hit me. I said to myself "NAY, Not Today!! " So, I tried something NEW. This café is amazing!! Great friendly staff, awesomely designed and honestly one of the best cups of Pete's coffee I have ever had. Thank you Capital One!! Grateful for how you and your team helped me start my day!!

  • Jeff J

Stopped by this Capital One Cafe, located over in the Domain. Deposited a check, then grabbed a cup of Peet's grounded coffee (light roast), and a Rip Van Wafels chocolate brownie. A wonderful way to continue adding good energy, and vibes to my day. Will definitely stop by here more often, for coffee, snacks, to chill and do some literal work, and analysis. Very relaxing, clean, and attracts good looking folks. Not bad in my book.

I came looking for a traditional bank. Oh boy and I was in for a surprise..it's really cool cafe style DIY Banking. You walk in, and it gives you a warm welcoming feeling of a cafe. There are several bank employees hanging out at different spots to help out lost and confused customers like me. Great experience, great service. I love it how retail store banking is being disrupted by Capital one.

  • James Stueckler

This is not a full service branch - it is two ATMs and a coffee shop with some pointless square footage in between. If you’re looking for a person to help you with something more complex than what you can do on mobile banking from your phone, go somewhere else. The ATMs are frequently down and most recently took my check without depositing it, and the staff was zero help in providing a fix.

  • Catherine Calia

I was warmly greeted by Yulisa today. She was lovely to work with and eagerly assisted me with a banking question that I had. She was an absolute pleasure to interact with. The coffee was also great. Plus getting 50% off with my Capital One credit card is definitely a HUGE perk. Thanks for making me feel like royalty, Yulisa and team.

Unexpectedly I landed in Austin for 2 and a half weeks. Ever since the first day I came in Toni and Crystal greeted my sister (who I am visiting) and I with open arms. Being welcomed to this city really started with the Capital One Cafe. With the support of Quade and Charles I honestly haven't left ever since. Thank you so much to such a great team!

Mary was absolutely perfect with her knowledge of the Venture X card i am thinking of getting. And the baristas at the coffee bar were awesome. Terri and Marlene were a great team and the Havana Cap was like a quick trip to Cuba without that darn and idiotic embargo.

Very modern and clean place-grab your favorite drink and get your banking done or work on your laptop (fast&free WiFi). Consultants are very friendly and helpful. They solved our issue and answered all the questions professionally. Coffee is really good and they give you 50% discount if you pay with your CapitalOne card …

  • Stina Mead

Marlene and Theresa at the are the #1 reason I drag myself into the office every week. I've never had such good service at any other coffee shop, ever. The coffee is also really solid since the shop switched to Verve. The Capital One customer and bring your own coffee mug discounts are pretty sweet too. Forever a loyal fan. More

Stumbled upon this cafe while in the Domain. We Are both Capitol One card holders and they offer cardholders a discount on drinks :-) They had a even more awesome deal on our visit (Fri, Sat, Sun) during July… $1 any beverage!! They serve Peets coffee and Mighty Leaf teas. Everything we ordered was great.

  • Lily Hickman

My absolute favorite place for coffee. The drinks are always consistent and delicious, and the staff are always incredibly nice, Marlene always greets me like an old friend and you don't need a capital one card, its just recommended 10/10

First time checking out a bank/cafe combo. When I first walked in, Jenney kindly explained the concept and the dos and don'ts with great detail. Both her and the rest of the staff were very nice and friendly. Free wifi and outlets on many tables. I highly recommend checking out this place!

Great place to study, work or meet up with friends! The staff is very kind, & their coffee is quite tasty! Lots of events throughout the month, free workshops around financial education. Get 50% coffee if you have a capital one card. Great perk! Highly recommend.

I love Capital One Cafe! It’s a great vibe for working and meeting for coffee with friends, and I love that they have Peet’s. For being half bank, they make great quality coffee and I’ve enjoyed every drink I’ve had there (which is a lot).

  • Shelly M.

So this morning on my way back to Houston, I stopped at this ATM which is inside Peet's coffee shop. I received my cash, but it didn't give me the option to get small bills. I went inside with card, receipt and cash in hand. The young man

Love this cafe! It’s HUGE, with so many different seating options, ranging from cushioned benches with little tables, to long tables with outlets, to glass private nooks, to conference rooms for 6-8 people. Lots of small and big tables.

  • Luisa Margarita Rodríguez

I have more than 2 years with my credit card and it is just great!!! No problem to pay bills, to pay the card, I have the app on my cell phone and I do it immediately. Never a problem. I go to Mexico and I can pay my shoppings. Great,!!!

This is now my favorite bank in Austin... They have such a nice space for working on my laptop or to meet with friends over coffee. It's really an ingenious idea to combine a coffee shop with a bank lobby. This is the future of banking!

What a great idea. I look forward to going to the bank. Peet's coffee has one of the best latte drinks in town and I can get help with banking at the same time. Also free parking at garage right next door and close to Whole Foods.

Pretty nice place, amazing price if you have a Capital One card (its 50% off). But the coffee, espresso, fraps are sort of 'meh'. I'll definitely come back, but definitely not worth it if you're not a Capital One card holder

  • K J

The Capital One Ambassador that assisted me was super helpful. The environment is really friendly and they also offer a plethora of free events for the community. Really appreciate Capital One’s new approach to banking.
