I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the Land Rover that I purchased from your dealership on January 19th, 2022. Despite the initial excitement and anticipation of owning a quality vehicle, I regret to inform you that I have encountered numerous issues with the car since its purchase. Firstly, I would like to mention that I chose to purchase from your esteemed dealership due to its reputation for providing reliable and well-maintained vehicles. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Almost immediately after taking possession of the Land Rover, I noticed several problems with its performance and functionality. I had taken out the insurance recommended by Car Giant called Spectrum when I initially purchased the vehicle. I have encountered numerous issues with the car and these problems have required me to return the vehicle to Spectrum on multiple occasions for repairs, resulting in significant inconvenience and frustration. To provide a brief overview of the recurring issues I have encountered: • Issues encountered: (Mechanical, Electrical, or any other issues that have persisted) 17/7/2022: Emailed Car Giant After Sales – No Response 18/7/2022: Phoned Car Giant : I was advised to bring the car but mentioned that it will affect the value of the vehicle. 4 / 16 complaint against CarGiant Car Dealership case 10678901 Below are the dates when the car had been diagnosed for faults: 05/05/2022 – Nox Sensor replacement – Mileage : 80753 23/06/2022 – EGR Valve and Cooler replacement – Mileage : 81548 28/10/2022 – Haldex ECU replacement – Mileage : 82000 02/06/2023 – Body Control Module and Fuse Box replacement – Mileage : 86662 • Repair Attempts: I have had to bring the vehicle in for repairs [before the dates mentioned above as it took time to check and inform the problems with the car], and despite the repairs, the problems have not been effectively resolved. This has not only caused me significant inconvenience but has also raised concerns about the overall quality of the vehicle. _ • Ineffectiveness of Repairs: Despite the efforts made by your service team, the problems have persisted after each repair attempt. This has left me questioning the expertise of the technicians and the quality of the replacement parts used during the repairs as the warning lights on the vehicle dashboard persist till today with the engine warning lights flashing. (Please find video evidence attached within this email) • Impact on Daily Life: The consistent need for repairs has disrupted my daily routine, and I have lost valuable time and resources due to this ongoing issue. • I have experienced a sense of uncertainty and anxiety about the reliability of the vehicle as it has refused to start and shut off completely. • Every time the car has had issues this has left me stranded on the roads with no choice. • I have an autistic daughter. She was showing signs of distress before having a meltdown. She had started screaming on the road and began to exhibit signs of anxiety whilst needing me to reassure her through repetitive questioning to check if she is okay. I have been in this devastating situation being unable to explain why the car has stopped and it can get embarrassing as well as disruptive with the public. • I have purchased a new VW POLO in July 2022 to have a reliable car which financially has impacted me with additional costs of £2,750. • There's been an enormous impact with travelling to work as the car would unpredictably act on its own accord. • Taking the car for repairs on my holidays and fuel costs to travel back and forth. • I cannot travel fuss free on public transport with my Autistic daughter as I am aware that the public will be disrupted. • Since purchasing the vehicle, it has been in repair for 13 months coming back and forth.
Check all documentation before you purchase I purchased a used vehicle from Peugot 2017 3008 GT Line dealership ( July 2023 ) Reg No :LN17ZFT. Within two days of purchase we had to return the vehicle after my local garage diagnosed an internal engine malfunction. The service document showed the last service was overdue hence the reason I took it to my local garage. The problems occurred with the vehicle after two days of purchase and my partner stated it did not feel safe ! The aftersales team were totally unprofessional to say the least. Video evidence was sent to this dealership in addition to diagnostic reports by our local garage to confirm the faults. I requested a loan vehicle as my partner needed a vehicle for her employment. On arrival to collect I was advised the company do not provide like for like in these circumstances ! I had no option but to take what was on offer until the investigation was ongoing . After wasting my valuable time dealing with this fault I was not compensated for my time and this was reiterated when I enquired. The company offered to repair the vehicle after advising that their own technicians report was what my local garage had advised in the first instance. The engine and turbo charger had failed and the engine was burning oil ! Video evidence was sent confirming what was advised in the first instance. I decided to reject and return the vehicle as it was within the 14 day cooling off period . What I had paid out in the deposit, service costs and diagnostic report was returned as I requested. The taxable charge on the service was not reimbursed as the invoice was in my name and not Cargiant as per company policy ! Part of the purchase was on finance to which I contacted the finance company to explain the situation. I therfore cancelled the contract with immediate effect. All I asked was for from the company on more than one occasion as my partner part exchanged a usable vehicle was to work through this issue together and not against us this did not happen in this instance. My partner wanted an upgrade after owning her vehicle for three years and decided it was time to change. I requested the details of the CEO'S in my correspondence to pursue my complaint as I could clearly see we was not getting any further and this was declined. I was advised my complaint can only be dealt with by the aftersales team. At no time was my myself or partner ever rude or disrespectful to any staff at any time as that is not the way to resolve a dispute. The vehicle ombudsman was also contacted and after sending all correspondence and documentation in relation to my complaint. I was notified this company is not a partner of the organisation so they could not pursue the complaint, I was advised the possible resolution was to try to pursue the matter via the aftersales team. I simply decided I am not going to waste my time going through the company's complaint department since in my view the aftersales team did not have the intellect to work through the initial problem in the first instance. ( E-mails and phone calls did not resolve the issue ) I was willing to purchase another vehicle even after all the issues we encountered, and this was mutually agreed in telephone conversations, unfortunately due to the total lack of understanding and common sense I simply decided to take my business elsewhere. I have heard of poor and negative reviews about this company on other sites however, i am a believer of keeping an open mind and not to be judgemental. I would welcome a senior official to read this review and feel free to contact me. This is a genuine and honest experience of dealing with this organisation. Date of experience: 22 July 2023
I was just about to sign the paperwork to spend nearly £30k on a car and the inept salesman managed to annoy me so much that I walked away from the sale. I have never experienced such a shambolic place to buy a car. I should have read the reviews. Seems all the good ones come from people being impressed with the amount of choice (which is true). However, all the bad ones come from those who have actually bought a car, tried to buy a car or get after sales service. Car Giant are like the Ryan Air of the Car world. They offer the lowest prices so can treat the customers as they please, knowing there will always be another person out there looking for a bargain. It appears to me that their business model and profits are based on the ‘Admin Charge’ selling Paint Protection film and Extended Warranties. Which is where my sale fell apart. You soon realise they don’t know much about the cars they are selling. I was told Tesla’s have real leather seats and that I would have to pay an annual road tax of £340. But to be charitable I put that down to inexperience. What I was not ready for was the underlying aggression. What started out as a simple question about the poor condition of two of the break discs turned into a quite uncomfortable standoff. I just wanted an assurance that these were ok. An annoyed manager was called and all I got was a generic sheet of paper with a list of ticked boxes of the checks they have done, none of which included breaks. Then an offer that if I paid them a nonrefundable deposit for the car of £500 their workshop would check to see if my ‘consumer rights’ had been broken? In the end I gave in and said I would take it on trust, so I sat down to sign the paperwork and buy the car with my assigned salesman Mr EA- (name omitted to avoid embarrassment) So after telling me erroneously how expensive the road tax is on a newish EV, he went on to destroy the deal by using his poor sales skills to sell me an extended warranty. It was like being on the end of a phone line from one of those scammers. All the usual high-pressure sales techniques every time I said no thanks. On each 'no' another approach would be tried. This included fake concerned, condescension, disbelief, annoyance. Etc I guess exploring which one would make me realise the mistake I was making to deny him his commission. Even implying at one point that the car’s 3-year-old CPU could go wrong costing me £2000. “You do know what a CPU is” …he said condescendingly. I do not expect this. What a waste of time. If only I had taken notice of the reviews and not been taken in by saving a few hundred quid. I doubt if another bad review will make the slightest difference, I just need to turn on the hazard lights to warn buyers of the car crash ahead of them.
Shocking from the start.. 1. Said its for a business then when I'm due to collect it ends up being a personal sale. 2. MIS SOLD supagaurd was told it covers stone chips which it did not. 3. Injector issue with in a couple of weeks of having the car on my way to the airport. 4. Knocking noise from the front. 5. A few weeks later injector issue again vehicle had covered less that 15,000 miles and injectors are supposed to last 100,000-150,000 miles 6. They are refusing to give me information about returning my vehicle. They have lied to me and even though I stayed polite and requested to make a complaint they cut the call off 3 times refusing to allow me to speak to the person dealing with this. 7. I've requested transcripts of all the calls which they haven't provided. 8. One advisor said he was going to speak to the manager and put me on hold for a long period of time when he came back he initially pretended he had new information. Then a few minutes in he admitted he hadn't spoke to the manager dealing with it but just his colleague so I asked why he lied about speaking to the manager he just cut the call off. 9. Found out repairs done on car by car giant but not told this at point of sale only found out afterwards. 10. Car broke down on the way to the airport they offered to pay for taxi to the airport when this happened, but made it ridiculously difficult to get the money back from them and they tried refusing saying they didn't agree to it. I said I've got emails proving you offered this and eventually after a battle got the refund. So poor communication, mis sold additional products, dodgy car, dodgy repair work carried out, refusal to refund when had the vehicle approximately 2 months broke down twice with injector issues and a knocking noise from the front which can't be investigated until injectors are sorted but I'm requested a refund. Which they are making very difficult and refusing to talk to me. Leaving me with a vehicle that would cost me over £23,000 unuseable. Absolutely disgusting customer service Everything is a battle and vehicle is dodgy. This is my experience with Car Giant I will not be buying another car from this company.
I recently purchased a 3-year-old plug-in hybrid vehicle from Car Giant, expecting a smooth and satisfactory transaction. Unfortunately, the experience was far from it. Upon viewing the vehicle, I immediately noticed the poor state of hygiene inside - sticky food stains and an overall dirty interior. However, I was assured that the car would be thoroughly cleaned before my collection. This did not happen, as I found the inside of the car in the same condition when I collected it. I had to personally find a staff member who was cleaning cars and request him to attention to mine. The salesman was helpful during the purchase phase, and we agreed on the requirement of a home 3-pin socket charger. The transaction was completed within an hour, and I was able to collect the car. However, the charger left in the trunk was heavily used and non-functional, leading to another disappointment. Most importantly, upon checking the government website, I learned that the vehicle has an outstanding recall. When I contacted Car Giant regarding this, they insisted that it was not a safety recall and that I had been informed about it, which was untrue. The recall information was in very small print on my invoice, which I received only after making the payment. I decided to contact Citroen for verification and was informed that it indeed was a safety recall (related to potential corrosion of the brackets on the hybrid battery). Car Giant had no comments on this discrepancy and falsely insisted that they had informed me prior to the purchase. I have since reported this issue to Trading Standards, and they assured me that it's illegal to sell cars with outstanding safety recalls. In conclusion, my experience with Car Giant was severely disappointing. The low prices of their vehicles seem to be supported by questionable practices, such as selling cars with outstanding safety recalls. I would urge potential customers to exercise caution and thorough due diligence before making any purchase from Car Giant.
Be careful when buying from here and make sure to check EVERYTHING! Recently visited the site to purchase a car and upon visiting, the lack of customer service that we had in fact not received, was appalling. Would not recommend purchasing from here. Came across a vehicle that caught our eyes, however noticed some faults upon further checks, was advised by the employee after speaking to his manager that it is a ‘ minor repair ‘ and can be fixed within 3 days and ready to collect, only after emphasising that we won’t purchase the car unless the fault is fixed. We came to an agreement that had been written and signed that a deposit would be made on the day, to collect only if the fault had been fixed, and if it had not been resolved, deposit would be paid back, which can be found in writing. 3 days have passed and the ‘ minor fault ‘ is yet to be replaced and a further week is required till car is ready. More time has now passed and the car issues have still not been resolved, no contact was made by the dealership and I had to call them a few times to get any further update which was “the part hasn’t arrived yet” After 2 weeks I said I have had enough as they clearly weren’t fixing the car and wanted to cancel it and get my deposit back which the operator said that’s fine and agreed, now they won’t give the deposit money back and asking me to provide bank statements to show I made the purchase Coincidentally the car is back online for sale clearly not fixed while holding our deposit so another customer who may not realise can buy it without them saying anything, I’d advise anyone buying a car from here to really double check the car as they don’t do any checks before selling and will really try to keep your money. Suggesting going to Big Motoring World instead
I’m shocked and disgusted at the way I was spoken to on my visit this weekend. I was treated appallingly on my visit to CarGiant. The worst customer service you can imagine. The “manager” Ali (wouldn’t give a last name) was disrespectful and rude and asked me if I “was out of my mind” when I questioned his extraordinarily bad attitude and disrespectful manner. I had simply asked for written confirmation that my reservation fee would be refunded as the Mercedes I had placed on hold was riddled with damages unlisted on their website and only seen once I’d come to view the car. (How embarrassing to even have a car in that condition on their forecourt)!! He refused to help and said it wasn’t his problem and I would have to call the online sales team instead. I did call the sales team. I was placed on hold for a ridiculous amount of time before getting only verbal confirmation of the refund. I waited for written confirmation in an email which didn’t arrive. He and his supervisor came out of the office to shoo me away as I was on the phone (loudly and upset of course) to a friend talking about my bad experience and obviously it doesn’t look good for business! I was finally given the written confirmation of a refund only because it was clear I wasn’t leaving until it’d been issued. The manager’s supervisor had to do it. It took him mere minutes. A shame that wasn’t done in the first place and a shame they didn’t help, but instead Ali giving me nothing but rudeness from the start. Such a shame as have bought from them in the past with little issue. Obviously… NEVER AGAIN! I would not recommend these guys. Rude and they clearly need to brush up on their customer service training. Avoid!!!
The cars are very competitively priced but the car buying process is incredibly long! I must start my review by saying how impressed I was with the fantastic service provided by Junior. He was a great salesman - extremely knowledgeable, not pushy, personable and he had a good sense of humour too. Amir in the collection department also gave great customer service. Even if you pay the reservation fee beforehand, you are not part exchanging, or getting finance and there are no issues with the car - you'd still be there for 2-3 hours. This was explained by the salesman to manage our expectations, but I feel this is too long and in hindsight I would rather pay a tad more from somewhere with a quicker turnaround. We had previously bought a car from Cargiant 10 years ago, that time we got finance and part exchanged our old car. This time however, we paid cash and did not part exchange, so I wrongly believed after having chosen the car that we would be in and out in well under 2 hours. The reason I have scored 2 stars was because - after agreeing to buy the car, we were given a collection time. Upon the collection time we were told that it needed a part fitting, which had to be ordered in. We were asked to return in an hour for an update but unfortunately the part had not arrived. So after having spent just over 4 hours there, we had to return another day. In fairness, the service representative did say that we could cancel and get any money back that we'd paid for a reservation etc. It was very frustrating that the fault with the car was not spotted earlier in the process.
Disappointing Experience with Car Giant I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Car Giant , and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with the community. My encounter with this dealership has been far from satisfactory, and I believe it's crucial for potential customers to be aware of my negative experience. From the outset, the customer relations was lacking in professionalism and responsiveness. Despite clear communication of issues with my car the response has been dismissive, and my repair request was unreasonably denied. Moreover, the quality of the vehicle itself has fallen well below the expected standard. I have encountered persistent issues, including mechanical failures, safety concerns, which not only compromised the performance of the car . The overall handling of my case has left me feeling frustrated and disregarded as a customer. Car giant unwillingness to address legitimate concerns under the consumers protection rights has resulted in financial burden and a significant loss of trust in their products and services. I strongly caution anyone considering Car Giant Dealers to thoroughly assess the potential risks and drawbacks before making a purchase. My regrettable experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I am left questioning the integrity and commitment of Car Giant Dealers to customer satisfaction. In conclusion, I would advise potential customers to explore alternative dealerships with a more reputable track record of customer service and product quality.
I recently purchased a car from Car Giant and I am pleased to report that the price and quality of the vehicle are commendable, especially considering its cost. However, as someone who hasn't driven in a while, I was taken aback by the lack of fuel in the car upon collection. Providing a full tank, even at the buyer's expense, would have been a considerate touch and certainly eased the anxiety of finding a petrol station while driving home at night. Furthermore, I must mention a slight letdown regarding the cleanliness of the car. As illustrated in the attached picture, certain areas were overlooked during the cleaning process. This did detract somewhat from the excitement of picking up a new vehicle. Regarding the sales process, I found the additional offerings of warranty and paint work to be rather excessive for my needs. I opted not to purchase these extras. Though this is not a reflection on the car's value, potential buyers should be prepared for a push on these additional services. I must also note that the on-site purchasing process requires refinement. As a cash buyer, I was not expecting to wait approximately three hours for my car to be ready for collection. This aspect of the service could certainly be streamlined for greater customer satisfaction. In conclusion, I would consider buying from Car Giant again as I am overall satisfied with my car choice. Nonetheless, I believe there is potential for a more polished customer experience which I hope to see in future visits.
I am writing this review after have been disappointed numerous time by car gaint customer service and waited for long to see if that gets solved. Bought a Kia from Car Gaint and paid over 21k all money in one go. After the sale completed I discovered that there's big issues with the documents i.e service history and stuff. I have been contacting the customer service agents pretty much every single day but did not get through to any helpful person. I have chased them up since I purchased the from August 2022 till October but no luck. Then I went to main dealer for find a solution and they advised without service history the car warranty is not valid. Then contacted Car Gaint again and explain the all situation as this a big investment whereas I didn't go through finance and I don't want to lose my warranty for over 5 years. Nothing changes, they seems as soon as they get rid of the car their job done and you go to hell. They not really bothered after the sales completed and I am out of pocket using my new car without warranty in it. The car first registered on January 2020 and the warranty supposed to be till January 2027 because of Car Gaint negligence I do not have that. I am avoiding and the people I know telling them to avoid do not buy from them, best to buy from main dealer i.e. Kia, Toyota, MG and so on. I am really upset and that's the first car where I spent all my savings for last 10 years, really disappointed and gave me a massive shock.
I think we’ve been scammed! Last week we went to CarGiant to buy a new car and give ours as part of the payment. We sat us down and went through in detail the reasons why they would not pay us good money for our car. We decided to sell to another dealer. We visited them after 7:30pm and it was really raining that night when we chose our car and agreed to collect 2 days later. We were told by the agent that we had 14 days cool off period with the car. When my husband went to collect the car, he did not have a chance to look again before he made the payment and drive off. When he arrived home we noticed some significant scratches on the paint but the after sales team only work weekdays. When we called on Monday to complain about the scratches we were told that we could only complain if there was a mechanical fault with the car. If they are so accurate to value cars that they are buying, why didn’t they point out the scratches on the car when we looked at it late at night or showed it to my husband when he went to collect it? The scratches were terribly covered with some white paint that looks like tippex. We’ve noticed that most cars with scratches are given managers discount but ours weren’t because it hadn’t been sat there for long enough for it. This is terrible customer service and we felt misled, scammed!!! I haven’t tried to have a conversation, CarGiant but Yousouf customer service team just said: sorry, there is nothing we can do!
Do not buy or finance a car from car giant! Avoid at all costs we financed a car from car giant 1 month later the car wouldn’t start advised to take it to a specialist which we did car giant refused the specialist to carry out the work as was to expensive instead said they’d do the works themselves they had our car for 2 weeks called and said yes it’s ready we’ve carried out the work and it’s ready to collect a few days later same thing happened wouldn’t start, over the phone they actually told us they didn’t carry out any work because there mechanic couldn’t find or match the faults the specialist had found so knowingly let us take back our car with a full breakdown of all the faults from the specialist and no work completed fast forward a year we are paying £310 a month for a car we haven’t been able to drive for over 6 months, don’t ever consider a warranty through them either!! We paid £900 for a 3 year warranty in cash that was void and was unable to use as our mot had ran out but how could we of possible taken our car to get an mot that does not start or drive ? They are the biggest scammers please avoid at all costs we now have to pay an independent mechanic to fix all the faults they knew was there when selling us the car, we have all communication and are now going through the legal route please please avoid, on top of paying £310 per month we have been paying for cabs and public transport which has been a nightmare
I purchased a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and 7 days later there was a Drivetrain error on the dashboard. Please be advised that the aftersales care is horrendous and if an issue occurs either way you will need to take the vehicle back to Cargiant. This is so they can check the vehicle themselves and they only offer a repair in-house. In my case, I was told to take the vehicle to Kwik-fit and when I got there was told by Kwik-fit that they do not have a trade account with Cargiant. I was able to take the vehicle to BMW directly which was what Kwik-fit also advised based on the fault with the vehicle. The total repairs quoted by BMW was £1805.08. I decided to "reject" the vehicle and please be aware that the process of rejection is time-consuming. Cargiant is always fully booked for about 3-4 weeks, this meant I was still with the same vehicle and not driving it due to the problem, as well as losing out on insurance and road tax I've already paid. Credit to Cargiant for paying for the inspection with BMW (£160); however I was left with a car that wasn't safe to drive for 4 weeks. When it came to receiving my refund, I was told I would get the monies within 48 hours, this was not the case so I called again. The person I spoke to then told me, I would need to wait till Monday a further 5 days which I refused and the money was then sent the same day. The vehicle is now listed again on their website.
When we collected the car yesterday morning we are very disappointed because car not been cleaned at all! We have been promised standard full cleaning will be done on collection. Car was on the same status from the day we done the test drive interior full of dust and stain marks on the cup holder and the car mat. In between the seats very dirty. Very disappointed I have bought a car from car giant six years ago that was immaculate condition on the collection that was the less price car this is the twice expensive car not been cleaned at all. I have no idea what to do because they are no one near the collection point to speak to them. I have a young kids with me I don’t have time to mess around I have picked up the car how it was. When I reached home I have had a closer look at the car exterior found some paint work peeling off from the edge of the bonnet area and below and very minimal scratche on rear left panel. These paint works and the scratches you can’t see in the showroom because it’s not enough day light inside!! When you bring outside on the day light you can spot few issues more accurately. I’m very detailed on cleaning, very disappointed car wasn’t touched at all after everything finalised. This been promised by the staff they will do the standard cleaning nothing to worry! Fake promise. Please don’t fool the customer in the future.
Worst experience ever!! I bought a car with Cargiant in February, all in full. And what a surprise when the car had issues from the first day. From that day the nightmare started. They never proposed to bring the car back to fix it. I had to found on my own a garage where I could use the warranty. After one month of back and forth to the garage with an unusable car and no idea what was wrong with it. I decided that it was time to give it back. Which apparently was something impossible because we didn't know what was going on with it. I had to book an appointment to a Citroen garage (that they never reimbursed by the way) for them to found the issue, for me to be able to give back the car. Which is absolute nonsense. Once I was able to give the car back. It took two weeks, a long email with proof and a threat to take legal action for them to give me back the money in full. A week later the car was back on the market and a week later the Citroen garage called me back about the car that was back with them. So they never fixed the car and just decided to sale it back in condition. I skipped many other thing as it would take too long to explain what a nightmare it was. But if you think about buying with them, avoid it! Because they don't care about the cars or customers, they just care about the money.
Terrible Experience at Car Giant I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Car Giant, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. I would strongly advise against doing business with them for the following reasons: 1. Bad Customer Service: The customer service at Car Giant is abysmal. From the moment I walked in, I felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. The staff seemed disinterested and unwilling to assist. 2. Cars Are Not Fully Serviced: One of the main reasons I chose Car Giant was the assurance of quality, but that's far from what I received. The car I purchased was far from "fully serviced." It had numerous issues that should have been addressed before being sold. This lack of attention to detail is inexcusable. 3. Rude Staff: The staff's rudeness is beyond comprehension. Instead of addressing my concerns and questions, they were dismissive and disrespectful. It's as if they didn't care about the customer experience at all. In conclusion, my experience with Car Giant was nothing short of a disaster. I strongly caution anyone considering doing business with them. Their terrible customer service, lack of proper car servicing, and rude staff make them a company to avoid at all costs.
The car I had reserved and went to view had impact damage to the rear bumper (not shown in pictures), and this damage appeared to affect the rear tyre. I told the sales team this information and was met with abuse and negligence. From being told "it isn't our problem" to "this will be covered under manufacturers warranty" which is blatant false information. To top the experience off, the part exchange value I was given was such a lowball that I thought it was a joke. I told them I could get double this in today's market, to which they sarcastically replied "in what market". To me, it appears as though the customer must buy/sell on Cargiant's terms and mustn't question any car. I decided to leave and asked for my reservation to be refunded, to which they again sarcastically replied with "we won't be refunding you" - this was a joke made in poor taste. Overall, the experience was horrible, and even if I loved the car, I would never give my money to these kinds of people. I will continue to stick to a main dealer. You pay a premium, but at least they actually care about your service and have a level of due diligence over their fleet.
First things first if I could give 0 I’d most definitely would. Terrible company in kind words a company that scams innocent people. Went to visit car giant had a car in mind, this is where the problems began. Applied for finance on a specific vehicle, only to go there and find out it’s been reserved. Why would they let me apply for finance on a vehicle that’s reserved? Then the sales advisor tried to ditch another similar vehicle, did not let me test drive whatsoever, he assured me there’s nothing to worry about all the cars are in good working condition and is checked vigorously. Long story cut short got the vehicle the next day after advising me everything has been checked only to find out on our way home there’s smoke coming out the bonnet. I had a child under the age of 16! Imagine if it caught on fire. I have been advised to contact FCA and file a complaint. This has been a terrible experience but an eye opener NOT TO EVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM CAR GIANT. My advice to everyone reading this is, be careful use a more reliable place or go for manufacture approved vehicles. Stay away from cargiant.
This was my first time buying at Cargiant and overall it was a very positive and hassle free experience. Be prepared that this is not a typical car dealership experience whereby you have one person dealing with you from beginning to end; between each stage (viewing, test driving, purchasing etc) you have to queue up, and it’s likely a different person will be dealing with you at each stage. It’s very busy and so I can imagine this would have potential to be quite long winded. I had booked a viewing but I think it’s is only a tool to help them forecast footfall, it doesn’t mean they’re expecting you or have someone waiting to meet you- you have to queue up with everyone else. This doesn’t bother me as I like to be left to my own devices when considering a car purchase but it may not work for everyone. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and personable, and the collection process was very simple. The car was priced very reasonably and was prepared nicely with a fault I had identified fixed as promised within 2 days. Would I buy another vehicle from Cargiant? Yes, absolutely I would.
Unfortunately can't put 0 stars! This place is an absolute joke! I bought a car from 4th september 2023 kia electric 2020 white color and paid full cash 21000 thousand pounds to them and when i picked up the car there were two lights on the dashboard and there was an error sign i asked them Why is this sign showing, he said that it will go automatically, no problem When I took the car and on the way it started making a different type of noise from the front wheel Next day I called customer service and they told me that we book a workshop for you and let them check what is the problem. I said it's not even a day since I got the car and now the problem started, different types of lights came on in dashboard and the sound also started from the front wheels I have taken the car to two or three workshops, no one understands electric cars, neither do they take the car back no give you a refund. now 3 month Never take a car from them. When you go to pick up the car, they treat you very well. Later, if there is any fault, they humiliate you so much that it is unaccountable.
They sold us a faulty car. Our issue is still on and Cargiant show no responsibility or care at all on the matter. Currently a guy called Lehmal corresponds with brief, insufficient emails and we are struggling to escalate further. All was great until the fault couldn't be fixed. They now say it is fixed but do not provide evidence or work report of the same. We haven't had the car in almost 3 months but are paying our monthly installments. 2 months in with no repair in sight, we had to beg for a courtesy car, we were offered a substandard one. Meanwhile we are now being forced and threatened with further charges if we do not collect our car but we are not offered proof that this was fixed and we've lost all credibility with this company. After the sale is made, customer service is shabby and they now work like a mob trying to wash hands of situation. We are mentally stressed and its taking a toll on our health. This should not be allowed. Please avoid this company. If you get a faulty car, you are truly stuck in hell with zero help.
The cars are very well priced and there is a lot of choice, so you will find something you like eventually. The reason for the low score is that the process of buying the car is extremely poor. We sat down with a finance person and answered all the questions and went through the whole process and was told we would get an email the next day and to follow a process. Said email never arrived and the finance personnel were very difficult to get hold of. On the day of collection we have to go through the whole process again and you spend about two hours just waiting around to be called forward, like being in a hospital waiting room. A lot of wasted time, can never get hold of the person you need to and a lot of duplicated processes. The whole point of going through the finance three days before was to avoid waiting around on the day of collection but we still had to wait a long time. The collection lady was also very rude when we queried anything. The company really need to improve their processes for customer service.
First to state is we didn't end up buying a car when we visited. However the service we received was polite and professional. Didn't feel pushed into anything and felt at ease during the visit. The reason we didn't buy the car we went to see was the unexpected body work damage we found. Unfortunately none of this was listed online so we had a 2 hour drive to be disappointed. Spoke with the manager but no chance for negotiation on the set price. He admitted they hadn't noted it on their system and wasn't sure why the obvious defects had been missed. Shame really as we liked the car and it seemed to drive well*. Just couldn't justify the fixed price with the work we would have had to get done to the body work and alloys. *The road test was pointless as it was only a very short drive around the local industrial estate. Didnt get above 20mph and therefore get to test the car properly. Took 5 minutes from leaving the gate and returning. Had a good look round and they have a large amount of varied stock.
I must say, I've not been here for at least 10 years. I found it to be very organised. To make your visit successful, I would suggest you bring your driving license if you would like to go for a test drive. 1. Go and look at the cars that are of interest. 2. Take a photo or write down the details of the car/s, especially the vehicle registration as to gain access to a car, you need to get the keys from main reception. If you ask for a car service prior to collecting the car, I would suggest you make sure this has been updated with this information either in the vehicles service book, as personally I don't think the piece of paper they provide gives evidence it has taken place, especially as cars now have all this information stored electronically on the vehicle. You can take the vehicle home on the same day but it would have to be purchased early in the day, otherwise you will have to collect the car a few days later. Overall, I feel I had a good experience at Cargiant and I would go again.
Pathetic and unprofessional sales Team. Today I am very disappointed at the Car giant. Fact is that they don't allow Indian driving licence holders to take a test drive despite it being valid in the UK for a period of 12 months from the time of entry and they haven't mentioned it in their website. With great hope I visited car giant in search for a suitable car. At the reception, I gave all the required details, including my Indian driving license details and started searching for the suitable car. Finally when I selected a car and wanted to take test drive, they tell me that they can't allow me to take test drive on my Indian driving licence. At least they could have mentioned it at the reception when they took all my details including my Indian driving license. However they didn't and I wasted my 3 hours of valuable time. Pathetic service. So I am never returning to car giant again to buy any of my future cars. I am also not going to refer it to any of my friend's Shame on you.
I would suggest avoid the seller as I have faced below issues, 1. Service was 65 days overdue which I only found out after full payment and paperwork done. After sales says, it was not on us, you have not asked the question about it 2. Type 2 to Type 2 cable was not provided and asked £100 for the same 3. All car mats were missing 4. Car’s tailgate lid handle was missing which almost cut my hand while closing the boot 5. Description/features of vehicle on website were misleading and they covered that up with a disclaimer there 6. Test drive was very short and and was on 20 mph speed, could you believe it 7. Salesman had very little idea about the car and was more of selling cargiant’s product Sales and after sales person keep on repeating one thing there “we can’t attend a single car as we sell thousands of cars” but I believe customer is there to buy only one car and expect them to be focus on their deal especially when they are selling it for such a high price.
It was very easy to get the car, I must say the process of procurement was very smooth. I got the car same day and arranged to pick it up the next day which was in March 2023. This was a used Peugeot 2021 model with mileage of just 11’200, less than 2years old at the time. However, days after collecting the car, the car had electronic faults and I contacted them. I was asked to contact the dealership as the car still had a year n half warranty left on it. I have been back and forth with repairing it and it’s still not sorted still now. Which makes me wonder if Car giant knew about this fault and sold the car to me. I am very disappointed!!! I didn’t think I would have to go through this ordeal after a smooth car sale. Car giant has not been hopeful regarding this issue. Telling me to contact Peugeot to resolve it, they don’t seem concerned about it. I would think twice now before going to buy any used car with car giant.
Poor customer service. I was told I could not take the car for a test drive because the car giant representative went to lunch. I asked how long would I have to wait and he couldn’t tell me. I asked if someone else could take me out but I was told to wait because they were busy even though there was more sales staff than customers in the sales suite. I intentionally took annual leave from work on Thursday afternoon as I knew it would not be busy and was keen to buy the car. I did not feel valued as a customer and asked if I should book a test drive on the following day or two and was told the car may have been sold. I had seen it listed for weeks online and when saw it in person there was a thick layer of dust on it. The systems and processes you have in place are very inefficient and an experience which should be happy was turned sour. I can't imagine you have a lot of repeat business. I will take my custom elsewhere.
Absolutely atrocious after sales service. If you are looking to buy a car slightly cheaper than a main dealer - come here. Do not expect any after sales service, so keep this in mind. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. I was offered a warranty on the car - keep in mind, they receive a commission on these type of ancillary products. I wanted time to read through the warranty. There was no written quote provided. I received a copy of the warranty with no information in how I can go ahead and purchase it. 2 telephone calls later - 2 different responses, the first didn't have a clue - ' a manager would call me back '. Never happened. The second was going to email me - never happened. I sent an email - 30 hours later, no reply. I would not recommend car giant to anyone and they won't see a penny from me in a future purchase. I have sought the warranty independently and got a better deal. Amateurs !
5/5 for the selection of cars 1/5 for the service The car selection is great, and everyone will find something they want. However the customer service is very poor. Firstly when you buy the car they try to convince you you need debt, even when you are asking to pay cash! Then they aggressively try to sell warranties you don't need. The final piece is trying to sell supraguard at 3x the price. When I said I didn't want it the salesman said "why don't you care about your car"!! I had to wait 40 mins for a test drive, despite pre booking. The lady I dealt with on collections was excellent and this process was very smooth. They also overcharged be £25 by accident and refunded me in cash - which was very honest. I would buy again from Cargiant given the selection, but you have to be ready for the long waits and classic salesman tactics!
Car Giant have a great range of cars and choices that suit various budgets. What is shocking is their after sales car/support. We purchased a full EV vehicle (Jaguar I Pace) with a 2 year Car Giant warranty and within a week had troubles with charging the car. Called Car Giant who advised they could not help and we had to call an approved garage/dealership to get this resolved. They do not (unless pushed) call on behalf of the customer and neither do they have any preferential/priority with any garages! We've spent a large sum of money for an approved Car Giant car which is not usable and clearly proves that Car Giant do not properly check their vehicles before selling them. I for one would not recommend Car Giant to anyone for their after sales care and support - there is none. You are the after sales support on your own.
We are happy about the visit and bought a car. The place is very big and have lots of different choice of cars. They all clearly mark the price and information on the windscreen. The service is friendly and good. The salesman help for the test drive but it is a bit too short. He tried to sell the extra car insurance to us and we found the explanations of it is bit too long overall he is very helpful and friendly. We are interested on three cars on the day. Then they need us to put down a key to exchange for the car key we want to see, then we are able to check the car engine and interior. We forgot to take our driving licence with us and the salesman took the test drive for us, so we can feel the car as passengers. It was very helpful. There is a diner nearby which is very good, but the food there is a bit expensive.
Well..... I think I've heard more bad things about this place then good. I've had to take my car back here about 5 times since my partner and I brought about 6 months ago. I've had troubles with the USB input, the wind wipers, the car was making a funny noise and the break pads which they wanted us to pay almost £400 but Go Vauxhall was kind enough to fight for us as I did not have the car for long it was under 6 months and only did a minimum of 200/300miles. They then took the car back and put new break pads. They was not rude to me and did try to help in the end. I do understand that things do happen sometimes. My experience has not been as bad compared to other peoples but if you are going to buy a car from them bring someone who knows alot about cars to save you the trouble of things happening later.
I came to Cargiant after deciding to purchase a car, after not driving for almost 8 years. I was extremely anxious until Mo Chowdhury helped me go through the car's specs and helped me understand the new tech stuff that I wasn't aware of - I knew I wanted him to come with me for a test drive. Mo was extremely patient and supportive, traits I needed especially with the anxieties I felt at the time. Mo was professional and lovely during the whole process to the last part of purchasing my car. I would highly recommend Mo to help support and guide your decision in purchasing a car, especially if one doesn't know too much about cars or it's been a while since driving and needing that extra support. This made my experience, thus far, pleasant and smooth at Cargiant. Thank you so much Mo :)
I recently purchased a BMW 330e which I purchased on a click and collect, I also had the car transported to me via Shipley. I was a sent a full damage report before purchasing the vehicle and no where did it mention or show the damage to the passenger side rear wheel which is pretty much curbed all the way around photos attached. I emailed car giant about this with the photos explaining how this was not shown in the damaged report and what they were going to offer to get the wheel repaired or if they were going to arrange for the wheel to be repaired and they are trying to claim this is fair wear and tear! They since have not replied to my last email about this and don’t seem to think this alloy wheels damage is a problem on a car that cost £23000!
I was very very happy with my first experience at Cargiant; I visited the website before driving to there to explore different cars, finding the information/ photos/ filters in my search user friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the Team were welcoming, professional, clear and informative as to viewing and test driving, taking the time to get things right every time; I had my car valued for a part exchange, again the service received was very good, and decided to go ahead with a purchase. Edrian was amazing in the time he dedicated to the whole process, answering questions I had and going that extra mile to explain technicalities, so I'd highly recommend Cargiant as I'm enjoying my new car thanks to everyone there.
Bought a 3008 as a mobility car for my disabled family, broke down despite being under warranty (they only offer 6 months) we’d had it for 4 months. Car giant said it would be covered, they’re wrangling out of it. So having to take them to court as they’ve shafted us with £16,000 finance and a car that they won’t repair despite doing less than 4000 miles. Avoid these con artists ripping you off to make a sales commission on broken motors and not repairing them despite all the promises that they will. The garage they recommend us go to quoted 2-3K for the repair which CarGiant has refused to do due to price. Nice broken car and 5 years of finance! Avoid like the plague, Your family & pocket will thank you for it.
I went today to do part exchange i did call before i went over and i was told to bring the car to be checked as it was import so i chose the car i want and brought my car , the guy who was supposed to check my car came out very rude and he said that my car milage is not genuine which means he accusing me of scamming the company which i replied to by saying i have the export certificate showing the car milage and he kept saying it’s not original mileage wasted my time made me pay for short insurance by telling me to bring it in then decided it’s not genuine milage which is so stupid because japanese cars u can check the history like the uk online overall bad experience . Not recommended
!!AVOID!! - RUBBISH ALL ROUND EXPERIENCE - RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICE, FROM CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS. - ADMITTED MOST CARS ARE EX BUSINESS LEASES (SO CAR CAN HAVE 1 OWNER, BUT IN THEORY BE USED BY 100+ PEOPLE) - ASSUME PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND TRY TO CONVINCE YOU A CAR NOT HAVING FULL SERVICE HISTORY DOES NOT MATTER. - TOLD ME IF I WANT FULL SERVICE HISTORY TO PUT DOWN NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF £200 - INSANE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU INTEND TO FINANCE A CAR - THE LOWEST APR RATE THEY OFFER IS 15%. IF YOU WANT TO USE YOUR OWN FINANCE COMPANY, THEY CHARGE £399. NOT GOOD FOR PEOPLE WITH A GOOD CREDIT HISTORY AS YOU CAN FIND FINANCE AT BELOW 8.9%.
Not a very good experience at all. I wished to purchase a vehicle and stay with my current finance company and they just refused to contact them to get the deal done not to mention they had the vehicle I wanted advertised then when I wanted to view the vehicle it was not available because it went for an mot, then they promised that when it was back and available again they would send me an email and text to notify me and im still waiting now, then I ended up chasing them myself when they said it would be ready for only to find out its been sold ♀️♀️ Terrible customer service did not feel like a valued customer at all
Went to look for a new car but left disappointed. They used to have a customer service reception on both sides of the sight but now reception B is closed leaving only A open. The car I was looking for was somewhere on the B side and I was unable to find it. There were no staff to ask where it was located and bring disabled I just didn't have the ability to walk around a 66 acre sight trying to find it. No seats to sit down on and no golf buggy to get around on for those who are less able bodied. Ended up going to a competitor who's opened in Wimbledon and had a much better experience.
Attended the Hythe road Site A today. Well organised to get to see the car, we had already called ahead and booked, however we’re never told about documents for purchase and the fact the collections close earlier than sales. Utter madness. We found a car, and sales were still open for nearly 2 hours, but collections were booked and closed. We bumped into a chap in the door called Stephen Nicholas, he stopped and asked to help us, a very genuine chap, very helpful and really a very good advocate for the company. I suspect we would have walked away if it wasn’t for him. Thanks Steve.
The employers are complete liars. They will lie to your face through their teeth and it’s scary. Their goal is to sell the car, because after that nothing is their problem. I have been waiting for customer services to respond to my complaint via email for months now. I’ve been robbed £200 from this cargiant and they’re purposely ignoring me. Horrible place full of cheats and dishonest people. Don’t waste your time, don’t get into a problem that you’ll regret and don’t bother communicating with them. Everything they say is what you want to hear and not the truth.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - I bought a car from Car Giant in January this year. It started to go wrong in May and I reported it to their After Sales Team. I was referred to Spectrum Warranty and they were unable to diagnose, they said it needed specialist diagnostics which warranty would not cover. I paid for these myself and the subsequent repairs required but the problem persists. All this within 6 months of ownership. the onus is on Car Giant and they are absolving themselves of all responsibility, shocking After Sales Service and no interest in resolving the issue.
Please avoid at all causes, I purchased a car from this dealership over 3 weeks ago. They presented the car with a huge dent on the side of the car that I had to pay myself to have fixed. The Car was not cleaned to any standard let alone a showroom standard and after 2 days I have an awful whiff of smoke. Some 4 weeks later I have now discovered that they sold me a car with a live outstanding finance agreement, so not only do I not own the car they are in breech of contract under the sale of goods act. I would have been better buying a private car.
Bought a 2018 car in Feb 2023. It immediately broke and spent 12 days off road. Fixed at cargiant's expense. Engine has now failed, (seized up, Halfords diagnosed but cannot repair) Cargiant's warranty company Spectrum have declined to pay main dealer rates and offered a garage in a different county (11miles away) and stated the driver is responsible for the vehicles transport there. Buyer beware of poorly maintained cargiant vehicles as the warranty may be "unlimited" but your bank balance, time and effort may also be badly hit despite this
Having bought from Car Giant over ten years ago, I was vaguely familiar with the whole procedure. But it is all a lot slicker I have to say. It’s definitely worth booking a time and (if you can) reserving the car. We were helped by Pier and he was brisk, efficient and not TOO pushy with the upselling. The car was a great price, and we were given plenty of time to look it over after our brief test drive. We were able to drive it away on the day as we left plenty of time for it to be made ready. Go in knowing what you want and you’ll be fine!
It is what it is; a no frills car supermarket. You have to know what you are looking for and what to look out for when inspecting the cars because you won't get any help or advice from the staff but as long as you are comfortable being responsible for the inspection and have a good idea of what you are looking for, they have a good selection of cars at competitive prices. Can be busy so prepare to wait around a bit. We need to buy another car when the lease runs out on our second vehicle in 3 months and will probably go back again.
It has been one of most stresfull times lately to deal with Car Giant. Starting with obtaining finance through them has been very challenging. I am self employed. I have sent them tax returns, bank statement and yet they questioned my income. As for person selling a car. He really tried so hard to be nice, tried to be friendly. It doesn't really work with me that false smile. After other multile phone calls ( you are never speak to the same person), so many question I gave up. I really don't want to deal with them.
Allways wanted to visit Car giant after seeing few pics of the vehicles available there. The car giant is said to be the biggest used car showroom in the world! It indeed is a huge car sale! Each of the makes and models have sooooo many cars. The price and the vital details of each car is clearly displayed on the windscreen. The each make of car have their own bay making it easy for customers to browse through and compare prices and production dates and milage done. It's a must visit place for any car enthusiast.
I have had the worst experience ever at this place called cargiant, me and my kids went to look for a car there, we spent almost 5-6 hour just to find a car the stuff was rude and unhelpful we would find a car which we liked and we wanted to see but the stuff didn’t even know where the cars where parked up and some cars didn’t even start up. Supagard and warranty, which they give you is all scam don’t ever get that from them if you decided to get a car from them. Personally I would never go back there again.
I went on Saturday to check out BMW and Mini Cooper. Thank God, I didn't make a purchase. Car Giant purchases their cars from different auctions, where service history is not available for expensive cars, don't have any warranty, and the worst part is that the mileage of the cars has been tampered with. Besides, the interest rate is 14.9%. The market rate is 10.9 - 11.9%, and a direct bank loan is available at 8%. Car Giant used to have fair trading practices 10 years ago, but not anymore.
It's alright but, the prices of cars are at least £2000 more than other dealers. It's a great place to find what car you would like (eg. how big the cars are) but, me personally I wouldn't buy cars from here as they are more expensive. I was looking for a nissan x-trail , in the normal market it was around £13000-£15000 but at car giant it was £15000-£18000, also its really hard to find petrol cars as people are exchanging Thier diesels for petrols which resulted in a shortage of petrols
Never buying a car from here again. Only one person from the finance application department was nice and polite. The rest could not be bothered. In my appointment to collect my car someone made a mistake and never checked me in. After 45 minutes waiting and went to check what’s going on, they checked me in. Poor service at collection point. My appointment was at 1:30pm and it is 2:40pm and still waiting to be called. Next time they should mention that waiting time can take over an hour.
After years I bought the car from them, i just found that the finance company they recommended paid them an extra of £2600, and for what? Never tells you this things, they just said on the contract that is a small fee, wich comes out from our pockets on top of the price of the car! That’s a day robbery! And they have the £300 admin fee extra on top of that wich brings them straight out from your pocket £2900 in one go! No warranty given for free! Think smart next time!
Bought a car recently from them, been told not any issue with the car. After just 2 days engine light came on in dash. I've tried reset the fault, but after 2 days comming back on. I've bought warranty too for 12 months. Went to the vauxhall dealer nearby, been told I had to pay 1044 £ and warranty cover 450£ to fix the problem. They knew about the fault and just deleted so can't be seen on buy. Won't recommend to anyone to buy from them. THIEFS! NOTHING ELSE
My simple advise is to shop around before you part with your hard earnt money. They offer no warranty on the screen price and the prices are fixed. The warranty they sell often doesn't cover any of the faults. It's a good place to see lots of different makes and models but i've found it better to get a used approved car from the manufacture of your choice - it may cost a little more but should anything go wrong it's a lot easier to get resolved/fixed.
So this place has loads of cars and they are well priced but the main reason for this is because the cars won’t have been repaired for any scuffs or other minor damage (compared to other dealers who do provide this). This was a big put off for me and my main reason for giving 2 stars is because the website does not show the damage which means the pictures provided online are touched up or photoshopped! This shouldn’t be allowed surely ♂️
Shocking customer service and liars! Do not purchase any of their warranty. One of the item that had to be repaired on my car was listed as covered and when I had to make the claim, they come to me saying I won’t be able to claim it. Paid £800 their warranty to end up paying for things myself. When it comes to sell their cars they’re all nice and responsive but when it comes to after sale they leave you struggle and don’t care. Very disappointed.
Unfortunately can't put 0 stars! This place is an absolute joke! Car was processed up with a managers discount. Had the new price advertised on the car, went to pay deposit to be told no discount!! Showed them the car to be told this was an error and I am to pay the full price!! Was told "if your in a supermarket we would have to honour the mistaken price! But as your at a car dealership we don't!!!" Would not recomend this place at all!!!!!!!
Great service and assistance from Constantin. Car Giant is an excellent place for choosing your car as they have so many cars and you can have the keys and sit in them and start them up on your own and take as long as you want to check you are happy with it and have a test drive too. I had 4 different makes of car I was considering and at Car Giant I was easily able to compare them to decide on my preferences.
Decent car range. But recently let down by the sales team, when i purchased a car last week. Was told the car would be washed and topped up with 5l of fuel, both which failed to be completed when we picked up the car. They are happy to push for warranty sale and other bits at point of sale, but if they cant complete the basics they've agreed with the customer - it begs to differ what actual truth they convey.
Fabulous experience! From when we arrived and could amble through the cars to see what took our interest, requesting the keys and subsequent test drives, to the ease at which we could buy the car and organise collection. Everything was swift, easy. I loved the online automation meaning I could upload ID and proof of address online. It made the collections process swift and I'm delighted with my new car.
Bit of a rushed process. They have an amazing range of cars you will definitely find something you like. Just disappointed that the car we bought there were some things not up to scratch on the inside we had to wait over an hour when we went to collect for them to fix these. They should inspect the cars properly before handing them over to customers. Other than that, staff are really nice and helpful.
Brought my car 10 month ago and took out an extra 3 year warranty. my car broke down 6 weeks ago first It went too the first garage they recommended then a week later I had too pay too tow it too the next garage as they couldn't do the works. 3 week later I'm still waiting for my car too be repaired they are saying another 3 week I've got young kids and they haven't supplied courtesy car
Very poor experience with car Gaint after sales. I paid for a supagard protection and they said I can come anytime within 30 days to get it applied. When I called customer care they are very much reluctant to give flexible date. Just giving a date on the 30th day that too on weekday. When I bought the vehicle they were very polite and flexible that I can come anytime. Very poor customer care
Scam merchants, avoid at all costs. They advertise a car on Autotrader for a good proce, nothing even close a a bargain. I called them to confirm the price, they did. Made a trip there within 12 hrs of the phone call. Guess what, price miraculously jumped up by £1,500. They really thought they had me over the barrell. Legal action to recover lost earnings, travel costs and stress is pending.
I recently purchased a Hyundai Tucson and I must say that the customer service provided by Constantin Obreja was exceptional. The entire process was fast and efficient, and I am extremely satisfied with the condition of the car. It drives smoothly and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I highly recommend Constantin and this dealership to anyone in search of a reliable vehicle.
I had a highly disappointing experience at this car dealership. The salesperson's behavior was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We were asked to wait for 10 minutes, but it ended up taking over an hour, and the salesperson directed their anger towards us. I would strongly advise avoiding this car garage at all costs. The customer service here leaves much to be desired.
Excellent service from start to finish. Very professional and answered all of our questions. No movement on price (as expected), and they were very respectful. Collection of car was great, addressed all of our concerns (even told us that if the 2nd battery in the key fob was not working, you can go to reception and have it replaced). Overall, very happy with purchase.
Be aware that they don't service any of they car and you are going to have to do that. So if there's anything major wrong with the car you have basically paid your money to tell them what is wrong with the car that you are leasing from them. The car broke down on me after just 1 week of having it. The customer service isn't brilliant either. Next time I'll go to cazoo
Appalling customer service. Placed a reserve on car, they took 48 hours to provide an inspection report and then expected a decision within a few hours of providing it, that too without being able to give me the information requested. They wanted a decision on a Saturday but couldn't give me the information I needed to make that decision until after Monday? No logic
Highly recommend Gerald as he provided a lot of clarity. He took his time to explain everything we were curios about very well. Very friendly, outgoing and helpful to work with. I appreciate how approachable and supportive he was. Gerald provided the best customer service as he was very knowledgeable. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend Gerald.
The valuation of part exchange of this place is just unacceptable! The managing team should check how many cars they don’t sale due to this! Got £6000 valuation for my part exchange, next dealer offered me £7500, and end up selling my car today by £8500. I would have lost £2500 on my part exchange should I had trusted they valuation! Very careful with this place
Had a really bad experience from this dealership, they acted like they understood their customer needs, but really didn’t. It's all a 'job' for them and don't actually look like they want to deal with customers. I can't member the managers name but he doesn't even deserve the role. Only gave 1 star as I have a brand new car but wish I brought the car elsewhere.
As the name suggests, this place is huge. There's a car here for everyone and anyone. Reasonably priced all in all. The offices and customer waiting areas are looking a bit tired, Could do with sprucing. Customer service is exactly what you'd expect from used car salesmen: attentive, diligent and will try selling everything to you - including their grandmother.
6 month into buying car with there " stress free extended warranty " having issues and now I have to pay out of pocket expenses to get fixed. Cargiant after sales basically told me I should have read the small print ! 4 worn tyres and had service light come on 3 months into ownership. You could at least have the decency to wear a mask while you rob people !!
Went in to look at a car and possibly part exchange our car. Terrible price for the part exchange way below what we've been offered from other garages . Overall it was chaos in the actual admin block, wait times just to test drive a vehicle where around 45 minutes. We ended up walking out as the whole experience negatively impacted our thoughts of the car
The best customer service from Isis. She made the process of part exchange & collection of new car due to the ULEZ expansion a doddle. It’s rare to find great service like that. She understood our needs & patiently answered every question we had. Thank you so much for a great time today and also great service from the collection team Outstanding.
Unorganised bunch!! having paid 12k for a car we have had to wait more than 4 hours and been passes from station to station to get the car collected. Poor communication between their own departments meant us being told the car is not ready for collection today then told its ready and then told its not ready again. HOW?? GET IT SORTED CARGIANT
I recently bought a car from this rubbish place. One morning I noticed a puncture in one of the rear tyre. Opened the boot to get wheel nut wrench and a jack it was not available. Spoken to the after sales team member and he talked nonsense saying that it was not their responsibility. Think thousand times before you go to them please
The part exchange price they quote on phone/online is to allure you to shop. Once you are there it's not much you can without a hassle. There are a lot of different moving parts and some of them don't feel welcome you. I was expecting the car cleaned and polished but, when I got it it was bit dirty and had not so pleasant smell
Very knowledgeable and helpful service from Max, Dominic and Co! Politely explained pros and cons of makes and models. Recommended an appropriate car for our needs and budget (although we picked a slightly pricier one with heated seats!). The pickup process was quick and efficient. The car feels spacious and great on the road.
Excellent customer service from Nej & Scott. I went to view Mercedes but ended up falling in love with a BMW 5 series. Nej answered all my questions. Scott explained the HP finance in depth. I am amazed with the service I received from the team. Keep up the good work guys. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.
Called today at 13 Aug at 2:20 to purchase a vehicle. Very dull sales person picked up and just transferred me to a finance person who hung up. Called them again and he transferred me again to someone who said all details are available online. My advice is not to have such uninterested people in your sales and finance team.
Really interested in buying a car from them but told that a manager must approve a viewing or I can pay for a virtual viewing. My guess is that their cars aren't worth viewing it they won't let you simply come and look. Dread to think what it's like when you actually buy a car from them, particularly if it goes wrong.
Sells 100k cars a week says a staff member. Must hold more than 500k cars. on site SEA of cars.!! Your choice is here. BUT quite expensive. HP brokers - 10 only to package your application plus credit check. Staff are professional. 12 hour work shift.. There's a canteen... Hope they get well paid!! Ok NW London areas.
Bought i pace last week with 2 years expensive warrenty. My car doesn't charge at all and cargiant will not provide any after sales service on weekends. Neither do they provide any online support. Its not a cheap car. Extremely poor after sales service. I don't have a back up car now hence using uber. Very unhappy.
i bought a car on Saturday through finance and everyone who works at car giant that i was dealing with was really helpful and always keeping me updated with my new vehicle and even after collecting the vehicle i would like to say many thanks to everyone at car giant for your time and effort and also understanding.
Purchased a BMW last year with only 7k miles registered in the clock. Had endless issues, perished tyres, a new clutch, on board computer issues. Car giant have been useless as has the extend e warranty we purchased. It’s cost us a fortune and I’d never use them again! Strongly suggest not purchasing from here.
I've given cargiant 4 Service was second to none ✔️ Sourcing a car, sooo many to choose ✔️ All the staff very helpful ✔️ It only went down a star for the time taken to process my purchase. Coming Home in the rush hour after waiting 2 and a half hours, is not great. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase
Never buy a car from Car Giant. They sell you faulty cars. I bought a car from them considering the reviews but even after raising a concern on the car condition they assure me that all there cars are thoroughly checked. Although they don't take any responsibility if you find the fault in the after sales.
Great variety of cars available and something to suit almost all budgets. Superb range and the service exceptionally good. Within 24 hours you can drive away with your car. Awesome that there is also drive away insurance you can take out to get you home if you’ve not already got insurance in place.
RJ18 JVU BMW I am leaving a review on my partners account as I don’t have a gmail account. Smooth and fast collection , thank you car giant and a big thank you to Arya Tavana for showing professionalism and answering all my questions honestly. Arya is surely an asset to the company.
This is a great place for car shopping. There are strict minimum standards for vehicles sold here, and really great people to speak to about your purchase. I doubt there are any silly questions you could ask here. The people here are great to deal with and seem proud to be there.
We bought a car one week ago and after driving for only few days the coolant start dripping and we had to replace it straight away. The guy who was selling the car to us wasn't very attentive, they just want to sell you anything so be careful and check the car before buying.
Good place to buy cars. Decent prices but have to wait quite a bit to be served as it can get very busy! Was able to give the car a test drive. Check collection time as we weren't aware that they close collection at 5pm! So now have to come back tomorrow to collect the car.
Appalling. They will ALWAYS tell you finance is agreed. They will say you CANT do collection because there is back log so you’ll have to VIEW it at their place. When you get there the Finance offer will change. And they’ll know you have travelled a long way. Garbage. Avoid.
Andre was super professional and worked with me the whole way through. Had everything done between online and phone and was only in the dealership for 15 minutes including my test drive! I would recommend anyone to come to car giant and they will take care of you!
