The Plaza Hotel and Casino is a landmark of downtown Las Vegas, a classic, as vintage Vegas as it gets. Located at the beginning of the Fremont Street Experience, it is a famous building that has been featured or is visible in several movies, including the 1971 James Bond film, "Diamonds are Forever;" "Back to the Future Part II; "Casino," and "Pay it Forward. The hotel's entrance is a dazzling display of lights and colors that welcomes you to a world of entertainment and excitement. The entrance features the distinctive dome (where the Oscar’s Steakhouse sits) and covers a new circular bar below it, called the Carousel Bar. This bar is a unique attraction that offers cocktails, and outdoor video poker machines in a life-sized, animated Vegas-themed carousel setting. The Bar has carousel horses that move up and down, a spinning martini glass, a deck of cards, and a 14-foot-tall neon showgirl sign that invites you to sip in style. The entrance is a destination unto itself, where you can take the best instagramable photos, chill, people watch, or host an event under the iconic glittering lights of the Plaza's porte-cochère. A must see for sure!
Zero stars is appropriate. I would like to file a complaint against the woman bartender working here on the early afternoon of September 21st. The lady had the worst customer service I've ever experience in this area. When asked about cocktails displayed the bartender was rude and responded in a way that was belittling to me and my friend. After dismissing her attitude, we simply asked for the cost of the cocktail and the bartender pointed to a menu list across the bar and said to us "all the prices are on the menu over there." My friend made a comment to me about how rude the bartender was and the bartender overheard our conversation and decided to aggressively engage with us again. Asking in a very snarky manner if my friend was "okay". After answering her question and letting her know we didn't appreciate her attitude she asked security to make us leave as she didn't want to serve us. This lady was disgusting and completely out of order. Will encourage "others" to not visit during the day. She had no problem being visibly hospitable to customers who looked like her.

We had been looking forward to checking this place out and finally did. We were a bit disappointed. Not in the service or the selection of drinks, but in the atmosphere. Yes, I know the old saying, "if it's too loud, you're too old" but when you can't carry on a conversation with the person sitting next to you, it's too loud. I know that they are in competition with the music coming from Fremont Street, but man! The service was great, the selection of drinks was equally great.

Stacie and John are absolutely incredible. They are the friendliest humans I've met in Vegas. You need a cocktail, Stacie got you. After talking to me and getting to know me a bit she made me a cocktail based on my personality (i couldnt decide what to get) and she nailed it!!! Cant wait to come back and see Stacie and John! Also, you can eat a $100!!!

Drinks are awesome. The Oscar old-fashioned was made with Buffalo Trace, an unexpected surprise. They have a few machine games to play and more seating than I thought they would have. It's a unique experience that is a must try for a drink or two. Drinks run from $9 to $22 but a fun time.

Location is amazing under the lights! Fantastic drink options and in really fun applications. I loved the margarita flight and the One Hot Mama. The only outside gaming option in Vegas. Played video poker for about a half hour at $1 denom max 5 and got 3 comped drinks. Left up as well. Super fun place to people watch too!

This place was the last place we visited while in Vegas. The drinks were a bit expensive, but they're in a great location, and they're smack dab in the middle of the action of Fremont Street and across from several restaurants.

Überbewertet. Der Cocktail kommt im Plastikbecher und kostet etwas um die 15$. Schmeckt ganz gut aber auch nicht besser als bei den anderen Bars an der Fremont street. Die location ist natürlich nicht schlecht.

Just checked this place out and it was such a vibe. The ambience to the outstanding service was so refreshing. The staff and bartenders took care of us the whole time we were there and they even had the big game on. The Plaza does it again!
My friends and I visited on Saturday (soft opening) and was amazed with the details of the designs. The staff is amazing and drinks are phenomenal. I visit Vegas 2 times a year and I will definitely come back we had so much fun!
We came by for a drink and ended up trying two local brews and a huge cocktail! The atmosphere was awesome and the ffimmmmna up to

It's a cool vibe out there, with small but creative cocktails menu. Surprisingly wasn't crowded at all.
