I absolutely LOVE it here. I've stayed in many campgrounds and can honestly say that this one is like no others. A completely private lake, beautiful scenery for walking or biking, several horses and other farm animals, and a tight-knit little community where everyone supports and laughs with each other. All of this while being 10 minutes away from Kanata? You seriously can't beat it. I'm staying in my travel trailer here, but there are also little cabins or tiny homes that they have available for rent

Carp Lake Escape is more than a vacation spot, it is a community of people who love being outside and appreciating all that the property offers. Waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise, interacting with the horses, ducks, geese and dogs and campfires in the most peaceful setting has been just what our family needed and all of this within minutes of the highway, grocery stores and conveniences you may need. We highly recommend this spot!

What a Gem. Highly recommend staying here. The grounds are beautiful, the people and animals are very friendly and you are still close to shops and entertainment. The lake has a great road around it that you can walk or run. The space is well look after. Can’t wait for my next visit.

I stayed in unit 6 for July 2023. Wonderful, relaxing place. Marcie and Marc, the owners are wonderful. I might be back for March break. With no hesitation at all do I recommend giving it a try, you won't be disappointed! Carole

Very nice place with a beautiful small private lake with a strip of sand on one side, animal friendly place,Markie and Marcie are great people who made the stay very welcoming.
