I can't even explain how amazing the service was here. Chris and his staff are very friendly and do not try to sell things that are unnecessary like other dealerships do. Before I purchased my vehicle from Cars R Us Chicago, I shopped around and found that the many other dealerships sounded as if they were reading from scripts. Cars R Us staff is very personable and I never felt uncomfortable or pressured into purchasing anything. The listing that they had online was one hundred percent accurate and they were honest about everything when I arrived there. Chris told me everything about the car that I was looking at and did not try to hide anything about the car or its' history. The young man who went for the test drive with us and washed my car was very friendly and honest as well. He was funny and very down to Earth! The lobby of the car place is very clean and they manage all of their items well. Cars R Us Chicago has very nice vehicles for sale that are fairly priced. They will also do everything they can to help you finance the car if needed. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with their services and I love my car!! I’ve been a customer with them since I was 19 years old I bought 3 cars from them already. I love the way they treat their customers because they give you the best deal they can and they help you even after you’ve gotten the car from them for awhile. When I got my first car I did not have any credit so I had to buy it for cash after a year I traded my car for a different one and started building my credit. Chris was really good at helping me do that. The last car I bought to them was 2011 scion tc it is really nice i have had the car for 3 years now and it didnt give any major problems. I would just do regular maintenance on it. If it needed some repair it’s because it needed it. Again its been 3 years since i got the car from them and it runs really good. From the start I thought chris was going to be just salesman who sold me A CAR but he was not just salesman I can definitely say that he has become a friend and family I’ve known him for about 6 years now and yes he is family. Cars r us chicago is a good place to start if you need used cars they have good deals and they will help you with what you need they’ll give you options, they will not pressure you. I cannot recommend a better place to buy used cars!

Let me start by saying my situation wasn’t atypical. I began searching for my first vehicle within the span of about a month and visited many of the major dealerships within Chicagoland. Many presented me with deals that were predatory based on the guise that my “ credit was none existent “ or “ lacking in history “, My inexperience was definitely taken advantage of. Before committing however I decided to go try a smaller, used car dealership within my neighborhood and was not disappointed. From the interpersonal salesmanship of Chris (Very good guy) to the amount of work that was put into getting me into a good vehicle despite my lack of history; I was not disappointed. I ended up driving home in a Subaru Legacy before my auto loan was even approved; another testament to the character of Chris. Got a good car, with tons of communication, for a good price. For anyone reading these reviews trying to decide if CARS R US is for them all I ask is what are you waiting for? No pressure, no hassle, no problems! I don't even know where to begin with my experience. Before heading over, I was very nervous. For me, car buying had always been a little intimidating especially with the pushy salesmen/women. I was also completely discouraged at the time because of my recent experiences with cars I had purchased. Visiting Cars R Us was the BEST choice I could have made. Chris was phenomenal when it came to getting me into a car that I actually wanted. I felt comfortable driving off the lot not "just having a reliable car"-- but having a reliable car that I absolutely love. Walking into this place is simply like walking into a family. There was no pressure selling and by the end of the afternoon, we were all talking like friends. I went to Cars R Us ,on 10/20/21. I must admit that the salesman Chris went above and beyond to get me in the right car at the right price ! I got a great deal ! He was very professional and he's a God fearing man. A great guy to do business with !!! Unfortunately, we won't be doing business again for yrs too come. Because he sold me such a great car. Absolutely horrible customer service. Called for a vehicle posted on Offer Up. At the time there was not a carfax. I asked, "Chris" who I was told to call and ask if he could pull one up for me. I did. When I spoke to Chris the guy couldn't have been more rude. Literally short and was acting as if I was bothering him or as if I was interrupting his lunch. I mean business must be that great to treat a potential customer this way. He told me there was a carfax pulled up and spoke to me like I should have known this information which I obviously did not know. He was very condescending and rude. No, thanks. Do not I repeat do not do business with this location.

Do not purchase a car from them!!! I purchased a 2002 Land Rover from shady Cars R Us in 2011. I paid in cash and the guy was super thirsty and kept “Yes” me to all my concerns. Very shady business, the mileage was rolled back, even though they will deny, deny. My husband just wanted me to get a car to go from point A to point B. Took the car back to at least exchange it and he was rude as hell. The car broke down within six months!!! Please people go to a real dealership and get a real warranty thank you!!! Do not purchase a car from them!!!! I got a nice car from Carvana. Excellent service and yes a 5 year warranty. You will thank me later!

I have had my Nissan Rogue for a little over a month and I am so glad I stumbled across Cars R Us. I had just had a terrible experience with Carvana and was hesitant to do business w/anyone. But Chris made me feel at ease. Walked me through the process and I drove off the lot that day (to my surprise) with the car I had been manifesting. I was even able to come back after a month. To look into a weird noise I was hearing and put my concerns to rest. Chris took pictures so I could see and took the extra step to make sure nothing else funky was going on. Cars R Us Chicago is one of the excellent dealer I ever met in my entire life since I like to change cars often. They have good customer relationship, they always try to keep to their promises. I bought one Toyota 4-Runner from them. The truck is running like a hot cake. Almost 2yrs today, I never have problem with this truck only changing of oil. Like any dealership, do your research before buying. Chris was p hands off when it came to inspecting the car. After I settled on the one I wanted, we were able to agree on a price. P painless and he didn't pressure me to buy on the spot. Included a free key too, didn't have to do that. You can definitely do worse when it comes to used car dealerships. This one's a good pick.

I looked for a BMW convertible for months and came across the perfect one! Remy and Chris are great I can't say that enough with my bad credit situation Chris made it happen. The car was in pretty good condition. The radio display went out and they had it checked out and ordered the new display. Small lot but good selection of cars will def look to buy from them again.
