As always, time to share my honest review here We went to this place for dinner today.. it was 7 of us. 2 senior citizens, one 3 years old child and we two couples. In my life I can say this was one of the most horrible experience. We reached the restaurant around 8:45 ordered starters.. took around 20-25 min which ideally should be 15 min or so. But it’s okay. Starters tasted good Then we looked for the server to order our main course. God knows if they forgot or what happened it took almost an hour or above. After 4th follow up the guy comes with an omelette. We said this is not Rox omelette that we ordered. The server insists that it is right. We looked into the menu to see if we made a mistake. It was supposed to be served with a gravy on top. After almost 10 minutes the lady server comes and we told her this is not what we ordered. She said yes and without apologies or saying anything , just took the place and left. It was around 1030 or so the food came. No there were no chapati. There were only 3 plates for 7 of us. After waiting for 5-6 min I again went to the server asking for plates and chapatis . Waited for 10 min and as usual they kept passing by I was totally annoyed and wanted to leave but as we had a kid and my parents we had to stay back. I went and asked for the manager.. after hearing me he said he is sorry and he will take care of everything now. He stated the kitchen was busy. I come from similar industry I told him. Kitchen busy, we can understand but what about service ? How do we eat ? No plates .. no bread.. then we got plates. Chapati came again after almost 6-7 minutes.. We ordered for one more set of chapatis which took forever to come . So the final result was a platter of pav which we did not order. Since we were hungry and really wanted to leave, we said it’s okay and we will manage. When we were done, the other server came with chapati‍♀️ First time in my life.. I had dinner at 11:10 pm. Apart from the live band.. there was nothing good about this place. It’s always service that makes a difference and it was really horrible here. Not to forget the condition of ladies room(washroom ) it was worst than any roadside one. Sooo dirty. Water on the floor. Tissues floating out of bin.. hand wish liquid was full of water and paper roll was also not in dispenser. I have never been this upset from any outlet in my life before. Being in one of the star category hotels I expected it to be better one but it was a total disaster. I’m never ever going to come back and not going to recommend. Yes, they did have us some discount.. I didn’t even see how much it was. Thanks for the courtesy but even if it was for free.. I will not make up for the damage. We really had high expectations. And yes, there were only 2 service staff I guess and 1 manager 1 staff in the bar

" To eat is a necessity but to eat intelligently is an art " . Our last night was something of that similar sort . Fortunately coming across to some tasty, appetizing, scrumptious meal wasn't on last evening's itierinary. Wifey and me decided to venture out last evening and came across this place which promised to offer some authentic Goan cuisine . Its location is inside this hotel building Hawthorne suites next to cornice hospital. When entered , the place seemed well lit with decent lights, not too much or too little decor , not so much of a goan touch which we was hoping to find . Had this big screen for cricket enthusiasts with ongoing IPL match to which I was glued.But it was a ladies night to which everything else was forgotten... unlimited drinks for my better half with mixed platter of sorts which included assorted fried crisps of chicken and seafood , some of it even was in sweet and sour sauce. We tried out the Beef steak cooked with rum , a delicate combination of spices put very mildly , with some bread and veggies Wifey is a bit choosy sort when it comes to selecting spots ...but even she couldn't get this place out of her pallete till next morning. And then there were Drinks and drinks and drinks.. Pinacolada, Screwdrivers,Blue Lagoon,Cosmos for her over and over again . Me just plain dark rum and coke..man of few limited tastes when it's alcohol. Was wondering if she could walk after all this or would require me carrying her out...u know what I mean But anyways Happy wife is happy life....All in all pretty decent night out with good ambience , good Dj with a mix of Pop and Hindi remixes.They have a pool table at the last end where some young couples seemed having a good time with smokes. Pros : Food and drinks ,yet a lot to try. Cons: It would have been lot more interesting if decor was goan theemed... can't call it a con though..all in all enjoyed WIR : Definitely yes 3/5

Initially, Casa Goa was our go-to spot for enjoyable family gatherings and group parties. Unfortunately, recent visits have left us disheartened and hesitant to return. The shift in atmosphere, primarily due to a group monopolizing the pool area with their own set of rules, has transformed the experience into something far from inviting. These individuals seem to claim exclusive rights to the pool, making it difficult for other patrons to partake and enjoy. What's more concerning is their confrontational behavior; despite the intervention of the bar staff, these incidents persist, creating an unwelcoming and, at times, unsafe environment. This departure from the previously enjoyable ambiance feels reminiscent of a local bar in a different setting, far from the welcoming space we once knew. The ongoing presence of these individuals has greatly affected our comfort, to the point where I no longer feel inclined to bring my family here. It's unfortunate that such incidents have overshadowed the positive experiences we've had in the past. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to restore the inclusive and safe atmosphere that made Casa Goa a preferred destination for families and groups

Updated Feb'23: Went there recently. The taste, service, ambience and quality remains the same. Casa Goa is nice watering hole with a vibrant ambience and a cool place to hang out with friends on a weekend. On Friday night go early to catch your favourite table. The menu is limited but quality and taste is amazing. Service is pretty quick for moderately crowded place. Waiters are very attentive and fulfill all your requests quickly. They play live music to keep it very lively for patrons. You can submit your requests to DJ. They do show live games for fans so you can hangout with your favourite gang. Cost wise not very expensive. They also offer Zomato discounts. Overall nice lively place to hangout with friends. Casa goa has been my hangout with family. They have good food, good staff. But this time I went in, they have changed their seating arrangements. On the entrance is the family area now. People who are not with families just go in and sit there. I believe, it has to do with the new seating arrangement and the initial intuition of people is to go in and sit. We didn't find the environment comfortable to be with family as there was so much smoke. I have never experienced this in the family area with people blowing puffs n puffs of smoke. Do you allow smoking in the family area? If yes, then we were in the wrong place and will find some other place to hangout.

Ambiance Nice n cozy place .. maybe coz of C19 .. we went there on a Saturday . . Interior is kinda dark with neon lights and a couple of large TV's .. Recorded music Music was good .. played good tracks .. but I must add whoever is in charge should shake up the playlist I mean we had Eagles and Pink Floyd and next track was some hindi stuff .. what a bummer that was... Food Was awesome.. it's a good place to have Goan food.. P Roast , Sorpotel , Vindaloo etc etc ... it's a long list Drinks Drinks are freaking expensive Service Speedy Gonzalez type Conclusion All n all a place I'd go back too mostly for the food ... as I said drinks are expensive. One of the best places serving Goan food in Abu Dhabi. I frequent the place for ribs, vindaloo-rice, xacuti and mince patties. The place offers a decent variety of beers on the menu. I usually visit during to grab mug of beer or two followed by dinner. The vibe ranges from quiet at bar to people partying hard in the men's section to a smoke free family section and finally serious games at the pool table. Very well managed with friendly and hospitable staff. A Special mention for Ms Sweenal who manages the place with cheerful and welcoming vibe. She's great with providing recommendations as well. This restaurant is a night club not a family/ kids friendly restaurant. Ishan the waiter says they have a timing for kids to dine in which surprised us and he is very unprofessional in responding or to attend any requests aswell he has a very bad attitude. Had visited this place to dine with family thinking its a restaurant very very bad experience. Food is ok not upto goan taste that we were looking for. I wont recommend this place for families or couples. My suggestion Please look for better options.

I went to this place with some Indian friends to have some Goan cuisine. The food is very average. The meat in the beef vindaloo was so dry as if they just reheated it, the drinks were quite pricey and the place is very loud that there's not even a corner where you can have a decent conversation while having a meal. Eventhough the staff were all nice and accommodating, it's not a place I would want to come back to, mostly because of the loud noise. If you want Goan food, try making it at home or go to Goa. I would not recommend the place.

Manager of the bar was so biased . He is vey bad and not fit for the job . He aaid if you want leave you can. Very bad attitude guy .I am from south India and i came to enjoy some good time . Some group kept playing sad songs . I asked them to change but they ignored . I didn’t go their for some group . Management should look into this and satisfy everyone instead of specific group .

It's a good place to booze up. The surrounding is pretty good with music too. They have very limited options for food and dnt get much choice. They also pool table which you can enjoy. Make sure you book it as soon as you go else you need to wait for long. If you are going on weekend check your orders are placed or not and also check the bill before you go. It had happened that I need to wait for more than an hour. In veg you have limited options though. But in non veg you can try Cafreal chicken. It's damn delicious.

After lockdown it was so lovely to get out! And to come to casa goa was absolutely amazing! The staff were so attentive and so friendly. It was my first time here and I have lived here for 7years! The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back here again! Absolutely want to appreciate the staff here on the night they did not stop working and making everyone feel so comfortable! Thank you so much Casa Goa staff, we will be back :) the drinks and cocktails were fantastic :)

Very lively place with live DJ. Food is exceptionally good and affordable. Also alcoholic beverages are served here.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was top-notch, with staff being attentive and accommodating to all of my needs. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the appetizers and the entrees, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was also great, with a cozy and inviting ambiance. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and great service.

Lovely food and good staff, but the music that was played by the one man band wasn't Goan music at all. One would expect to listen to Goan music at a Goan themed restaurant, but it wasn't the case. The music was too loud and had to actually scream for the person sitting less than a meter away from me to hear what I was saying. The pork vindaloo was really good. Masala papad not what was expected. Overall very good except for the bad music experience.

It was my first time in Abhu dhabi, along with my wife . We wanted to try out fish specialties restaurent. Came across this restaurent .First of all tue staff here does not understand any indian dishes. I ordered masala prawns however they were not fresh and they used packed prawns, Paneer was chuwey. Really bad experience . Only good fot drinks

Stayed in a hotel nearby. There weren’t many choices for food but luckily this place exists! The restaurant is located in the Wynn hotel on the 3rd floor. There are three rooms. The middle room has a small dance floor and band setup. The room to the right has a bar as well as seating. They have a good selection of Indian dishes and specifically Goan dishes. The bar is fully stocked and they do have some beers on tap.

One of the best restaurant in Abu Dhabi, we ordered Bombay duck rawa fry, chicken cafreal, prawns vindaloo rice, food quality, taste, quantity just awesome n enough for 2 persons, ambience, service too good, must try restaurant for amazing tasty food ❤️❤️

The food was extremely good. We ordered red wine ,chicken and roti for dinner. Service and courtesy extended were very nice. However, the atmosphere was dull which was probably due to lack of crowd. This was surprising as it was on the Christmas eve.

How about a night of carefree beverages at the most reasonable prices in town with true Goan delights serving all meats. If you know and like Goan food then you will not be disappointed. Not a bright place but when you want to rise your 'spirits' high the lighting is purely incidental. Go give it a shot with the right group or company. Do not expect a romantic ambiance there.

Not upto mark, like a year b4. The food was not like the actual Goa cuisine . The order was taken incorrectly, the chicken crispy n squids was fried in same batter. The fish curry was watery, the Cafreal was half raw. Had to wait 40 min for the bill. Suggestions was poor. Staff understanding was slow who attended us. Kept wining the price like ppl can't afford it.

It was awesome to spent time over here.. I really love the vibes and staff was super friendly specially mention those names Mr. devin and ms. eman you guys were soo good and gave us amazingly service. I really appreciate the ambience and staff service over here. highly recommend this place for all of my friends.

We tried the Goan Fish Curry Plate, which was really good. Taste was authentic and quantity enough for one person, service also was very good the server was polite and helpful.

They will mention 25%discount on food on weekends on board and menu, but they will not provide if i didn't as before ordering food, worst one i didn't expect that. Normally they need to provide that also need to mention on the bill too, but no worst one

Heaving very bad experience here just we ordered food was good but food came no cutlery here no plates. Staff is very much negative attitude specially that lady servre who was attending our table. Latter then bar tender ( dilip kumar) came and he manage the things. But overall very bad experience.

Good place to have some evening fun. Activities like dancing a stoped du to covid. This place even ok for families. Can get a bit loud in the night. But over all experience was good. Only problem was all bites tasted the same.hope they can improve on that. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Nice place to chill out. They know how to serve a great chilled beer. Music is nice. It gives a vibe of a shack in goa. Staff are nice and friendly.

If you want to get Indian feel, want to get on to dance without thinking of what others will think around,here you go for Casa De Goa, service team was very nice. I had a good time with my friends.....again it's a easy to go place, don't have high hope for status here.....

This is the goto place if you want to try pork dishes and Goan cuisine. Place is generally not very loud during weekends but definitely a fun place to sit, have few drinks and enjoy some music or live sports. Bar menu is not very pricy and offers all standard liquors.

Service very slow Waiter was a little confused, Food was OK Mutton vindaloo was tasty but had lots.of tiny pieces of bone in the curry, as you chew you have stop as there is a piece of bone in your mouth. Prawns curry had only 5 shrimp, curry was tasty though.

The singer is the star of this place. Food was ok. Great service.

The place was just beautiful as been told to me be my cousin's. The graffiti on the walls were really amazing . The singers were very kind took all the requested song and sang them well. Food wow lovely amazing.

I always visit Casa Goa when I visit Abu Dhabi. Really good Goan food. Nice ambience. Courteous staff. The manager Sweenal is thorough professional and is always there to help you with a smile.

Had dinner here for around 6 to 7 times in my trip. Good food, good vibes, very friendly owner. Little highly priced but enjoyed the Indian food anyways.

Mr. Divin service is too good, highly appreciated. Management should improve to increase the manpower as single person cannot handle multiple clients together.
