Visited this place in Jakarta earlier in the year and was seemingly impressed with the quality at their showroom. Decided to contact the owners and salesperson and they were responsive to the queries and my specifications. They also reassured us that there would be no problem with the shipping to overseas places as they have done so for other locations like Milan, Italy. In our case, the shipping was to Singapore and it was estimated to be USD500. We thought it should be alright and after various selections, we chose the woods and placed the 50% deposit. Then the nightmare started. Salesperson went MIA and was non-responsive. Owner got back to us and came out with a lot of excuses about the salesperson who had resigned and was irresponsible. Blah blah blah... Things improved slightly and we paid the remaining 50% as the woods were completed. We thought the owner would be responsible as it’s his business but things turned out worse. He went MIA and we were concerned the materials would not be delivered. Then the owner gave various excuses about the shipping costs that went up to USD4,000. In actual fact, they DID NOT have any export permit at all. Exporting wood in Indonesia is quite strict due to fears of illegal logging and deforestation but we did not expect this crook company to not have the permit. We had to pull some strings and got the materials delivered to us personally to Singapore after about 2 months delay. Materials and workmanship turned out badly and we have a 3 metres long study table that cannot even balance and has a high risk to tipping over when we put weight on it. Unfortunately, I can’t give lower than one star for these crooks. But I would just take this one star as a learning experience for dealing with TRASH.

Really disappointed because we flew for nearly 2 hours to jakarta only for visiting the showroom and it is closed when we arrived (3.45 pm). How can potential customer be convinced to buy the product when they are not allowed to see directly?
