They never have cash on site despite the advert which gives it out no problem so you have to have either store credit or bank transfer which can take upto a week to go through, I ended up taking the transfer option and was told I would be emailed before the end of the day to let me know the item had passed testing and the transfer had been done and just a case of waiting until the bank and cex had completed the transfer but as usual no email from cex and I'm left waiting amd not knowing if everything is OK so I will have to drive there about 50 minute round trip pay for parking and fuel just to be told yes or no,there's no phone number for the store as that would be too easy and helpful and if you have ever emailed them then you are in for the usual 3 day wait for a reply that usually ends in sorry we can't help....sometimes cex is good but mostly its a headache and an expensive one at that because they give rock bottom trade ins but resell it at a HUGE markup....

I went in to get a valuation of my tablet and the worker left it on the floor which resulted scratches all over the metal. Now I won't get as much as I could have if I want to sell it. When I told them that they damaged my Tablet they said it was already there. Haven't we heard that one before? Even if the worker did not do it intentionally it shows how they don't care about peoples property, very unprofessional. I do not recommend going to this store and will be using the Edmonton Green Cex from now on, who I can trust from previous experiences. Don't waste your time going to Cex Enfield Town.

I went to sell an iPad that I had bought from them along with the Apple Pencil, they then told me that I could not sell the pencil as they didn’t have the serial number which I wasn’t given, when I offered to show them the serial on the iPad settings they said that’s “against their policy” and that it needed to be physical copy of the serial despite not being given that. Don’t go to this branch it is terrible and feels like they just do whatever they want and won’t buy from you if they don’t feel like it

Went to pick up a £3 game tgat i paid for online only to be told you need ID I mean come on by the time I go home and back it would be more than the game is worth I offered to show my Facebook and bank accounts which I can log into on my phone I could even show the transaction on my account but no so I said cancel the order I wish to delete my account with you now as this is stupid I could understand if it was a higher amount but £3 come on also the little girl was quite rude about it.

My review is not for the store itself, as I have never shopped there, but am a resident living above/around the business building. The commercial hours posted end operations at 05:30 pm, however, some nights, the building is used to host people over, and we can definitely hear the “hours of operation” are actually much later, until midnight…. Business place, for electronics, etc. but also a place for drinks it seems.

Good place to sell off unused tech and games but you don't get much in the way of cash usually much lower than the product is worth however taking store credit you do get a little more still a good place to exchange goods if you don't have the time to sell it yourself and I guess at the end of the day it is a business, and staff are really nice

Used CeX to trade in DVDs, games and consoles. Their staff were friendly. However, upon returning my console they kept an important cable, and I never got it back. Be careful when trading in certain games& DVDs because the prices they offer are often 0.01, 0.02 and 0.10 pence.

I presume 1star is 0.Your dvd's are way overpriced when you're selling, sometimes it's cheaper to buy brand new. Yet when your buying most of the time it's only offer a penny, in which case the charity shop gets them.

I went to put my iPad on a buyback clause, and the staff were really helpful. All questions I had were answered, they were even willing to show me other items I was interested in. Elijah was who helped me.

A very good place to buy yout tablets phones etc.Staff are very helpful and you get a two year warranty worth keeping in good condition so if a year or you later you can trade it in and get a newer model.
