The manager is racist towards us hispanics. We just moved here a couple months back and at first the manager lady seemed nice and was very kind friendly towards us, but later, she began having problems with us out of the blue. this lady is nothing but disrespectful towards us. My dad was trying to solve some problems with her and was talking to her in a calm voice but she began cussing him out and telling him that she could do anything she wants just because she was the manager. Which is not fair at all. She also seems to have a huge problem with our dog. He always barks at her because he gets a bad vibe from her. And dogs usually know when a person is bad (and he’s not wrong) but she’s always threatening us saying that she’s gonna put my dog in the dog pound (literally just because he barks at strangers which is normal for dogs) and plenty of times is other dogs barking not mine but it’s easier to blame my dog just cause it’s us. Last time we caught her just standing outside our yard with her dog provoking my dog to bark. We started filming her weird behavior and she then proceed to walk away. But anyways, she seems to have a huge problem with us and she’s willing to do anything to kick us out (her words) so please, before thinking of moving here, I beg you to reconsider. DO NOT MOVE HERE. The manager is rude, disrespectful, and just downright mean. That’s why I’m giving this place one star. Because this is the worst place I’ve ever lived in. It feels like we’re living in a prison. This manager doesn’t let us do anything at all. Actually worse than a prison. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Don't typically write reviews but this one is one of the must ones. Called to get rates on lots... 1st off lady that answer the phone (Jennifer) seemed rushed to assist, 2nd asked for prices which was quoted 2 different prices due to size of lots, asked for difference on lots (dimensions) was told one of them is bigger (really?) asked again for size difference measurements of lots (being more specific at this time). Jennifer responded and I quote "one of them Is bigger then the other one, that's a HELL of a dumb question to ask", when I asked to repeat what she had just said... she switched to ma'am; I asked her what she said previously but of course would not repeat. I said ma'am when I was asking for difference in lot it was not to clarify one is bigger than the other one clearly that is common sense I was asking for specific size if available. In other words STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! If this is the initial treatment, imagine once your on their property already. Would like to get a hold of whoever is above her, if your reading this contact me. Thank you.

I was a little concerned when I read the previous reviews. We stayed for one month and the staff and the majority of residents were very welcoming and kind. I did not interact with all residents so can't say they were all welcoming but I felt safe here. Jennifer (the manager) lives on site and was very helpful to us. They only accept cash but do give receipts and we got our deposit back the day we left without any trouble. During our stay we also had an electric problem at our site on a rainy night and they had someone there working within 15 minutes and we power restored within an hour. Could not ask for better service. Maintenance guy (Allo) also lives on site and was very friendly and helpful. Did not give it 5 stars because some of the trailers are very old and not well maintained. Some lots have construction debris on them, etc. Also we had a serious fly problem in the warm weather. I am new to Texas so this may be normal but being next to dumpsters seemed to attract them. Overall very welcoming people, big lots, close to downtown and public transit.

Edit, April 2019: It completely breaks my heart to say that everything that has been said about the deposits are true. After living here a year, we really felt like family here, and I think that's why it hurts so much. My husband and I have lived here since January 2018 and couldn't be happier! When reading through the online reviews, of course we had our doubts, but we like to think for ourselves and decided to give it a shot, rather than go strictly off of the reviews that some clearly misled people seemed to think. We live by the motto, "Give respect, get respect," and it has held true for everything we've seen at Cedar Ridge RV Park. I am under the impression that if people had a bad experience here, it's simply because they refused to give respect in the first place. The office manager, Jennifer, has gone above and beyond to make us feel at home and to show us kindness. Please don't believe everything you read on the internet! Kind and honest people truly are welcome here.

I have lived in the park for over a year! Absolutely love living here! First time Rv living! And won’t go back to anything else! The lot is huge with large trees. I get compliments on my yard all the time. I love my neighbors!! They have all become family!! Manager has helped me with everything-from a clogged toilet to moving into my newest Rv!! This is definitely a family oriented neighborhood where everyone helps out everyone-there are monthly bar b ques, the entire neighborhood gets together plays games and enjoys the day!! Jennifer the manager has been phenomenal throughout the entire CoVID -19 pandemic! She does the grocery shopping for the elderly in the park, picks up prescriptions, pays bills, she takes care of this entire park!! She is family!! This is what a neighborhood should be!! Upgrades have been happening! The new laundry facilities are amazing! The views inside the park feel Like country living! The community here is wonderful! Kristi S.

We lived here for 6 months, we loved the community and the home feel of living here. We never had any problems with the management or the ownership. We needed a couple things addressed while we stayed and they were very accommodating and the maintenance man was always there to offer suggestions, as well as lend a helping hand. The community is quite during quite hours, the traffic is only those that live in the community--when a stranger approaches they are quickly assisted if they need directions or find out the area is not a place to be "driving through" if you have no business there. The staff has barbecues once a month where the tenants are treated to a wonderful meal and allowed to relax and socialize. Very caring staff of all renters--very accommodating--very responsive!! We have lived at three RV parks and have to say this was by far the most "home" like environment. If our jobs had not taken us out of the area we would have stayed longer!!

Excellent park. Big lots great management and maintenance crew. They go out of their ways to help any residents even when it's customers problem! They helped me replace propane hoses at no cost.The only people I see posting bad reviews are ones that were shunned by the park for not complying with easy rules and did not get along with anybody. Although I can only speak for the reviews since june of this year. Jennifer and her staff solve problems fast even when it is the tenants fault and not the parks responsibilty.When my wife died this park helped keep me alive, when I couldn't function they functioned for me until I could bounce back. I can afford to live anywhere, but I live here.....the kids are safe here.....there are tenants that have been here 20 years, come ask them about the park,and ignore the bitter people who couldn't cut it here.

This place is definitely worth exploring if you have need of a safe place to park or live in your RV / Mobile home in South Dallas...there is a tiny House that found a nice place there ! I like driving through seeing a sense of community and I see that the animals are well cared for + they are happy also seem to be a few welcome kitties to make you feel at home. I get a sense that everyone has a job to do at this place and that is looking out for their neighbor. Yes the roads are a little rough and bumpy due to hauling big homes up hills which also give it character.. definitely some funny people definitely some animal people and definitely management that has their eye out to protect it's domain. Management is responsive when you live there....after you move out & ask for your deposit refund, all that responsiveness goes out the window. There is always an invalid excuse for not receiving your refund in a timely manner. We still haven't received ours...not sure if we ever will due to the complete runaround by mgmnt!!! I just read SEVERAL other reviews about deposits not being returned....VERY CONCERNING!! I'll be damned if you are going to keep my hard earned money!! If you (Jennifer) won't give me the owners ph # then I'll find it myself. You should beware....we wont let you get away with this where we are concerned! Nope!! The buck stops here MANAGER!!! Get our deposit to us NOW or we will be forced to take this to the texas tenants union and you dont want to be on their radar. Just do the right thing!!

The campers and residents were nice. The only problem I had was not getting my deposit back. Upon checkout Jennifer, the office person, said we will mail your deposit and she confirm the address to mail it to. I moved out the end of Oct and still haven’t received my deposit back. After calling several times once Jennifer did answer she stated she was out on the property and would text me the date my deposit was mailed. I haven’t heard from her since. Now my calls go to voicemail and no one return your calls. They are a rip off as others have previously posted. I reported the to the Better Business Bureau and have got my Lawyer involved. I have stayed at numerous campgrounds and this is the first time I had problems with refunding my deposit.

I moved into this place at the beginning of August. With very poor management, I decided to get out of there as soon as possible. I had to buy a new breaker after it kept throwing and they refused to replace it. I ended up replacing it myself and never had a problem from it again. As I said, I moved out very quickly and before leaving the management promised me my deposit back. It has been over 4 months and they have yet to do so. I have contacted the manager (Jennifer) and she has given me many excuses and keeps lying to me telling me it will come in the mail. She needs to refund me and all the others that she has scammed. As a result, Jennifer and the owner should be behind bars.

The manager seemed nice and friendly but she never returned our or many other tenant's deposits. I even sent certified mail requesting it. They also mysteriously disappeared when we called or went to the office. So if you give them a deposit, you most likely won't give it back. Besides that they have a bad dog problem. My girlfriend and I were almost attacked by 2 seperate residential dogs. One even went through our yard and tore up $300- 400 worth of shoes, which the owner said she would compensate and no surprise, never did. So in total, we lost $800- $900 living there and felt cheated and completely taken advantage of. Good ridance Cedar Ridge RV Park.

We live in Minnesota and our daughter moved there for a few weeks to start her young adult life on her own. Her first Christmas on her own. Mailed her a package and USPS delivered to the office front door on the porch. It disappeared. It is a felony to tamper or steal mail. At places where mail is delivered to a central location, like an RV park office, it then becomes the managers responsiblty. But the manager will only say "nothing is ever stolen". What a heck of a first life lesson. And they won't even consider they may be wrong. I do pray for the person that stole it and hope they enjoy all the different things that were in the box.

If there were negative stars I’d give that. The place is run by a rude and dishonest woman named Jennifer. She took $1000 cash for two months of rent and never provided a receipt. I witnessed both payment being made. She goes around the park and bangs on your doors at night screaming and cussing. Personally I’d suggest anyone looking at this place should keep looking—the place is run poorly at best and the entire park is run down and nothing is maintained properly. Noone will call you back and once you do finally reach her she doesn’t know anything and pretty much hangs up on you.

Moved my trailer in back in January... Helped me get it set up (newby RV trailer owner) and the neighbors helped me get my heater fixed! Been here for about six months and all the people here are friendly and I feel have my best friends - the way trailer park life should be! Reading the other reviewed I was shocked at the way this place was portrayed... Everyone here is friendly and outgoing - we are all living our lives and The monthly get together helped me get our of my trailer to meet my neighbors - best thing I've ever done!

WARNING...stay away from this place!!! Jennifer Doerr, the manager will make your life living hell!!! She charges tenants $1000+ in fees that she makes up and threatens them if they don’t pay they have to leave!!! She thinks because she is white and the manger she can put fear on people! She blames people for theft to have an excuse to kick them out and keep their home!!! Most people that move on the park don’t want to stay there Past month because she does everything in her power to pocket your money!!!

The website is incredibly deceiving. Cedar Ridge is in Dallas. Management at Cedar Ridge was responsive to any issue I had. Upon leaving I was informed that rent nearly doubled with no verbal or written notice. Cedar Ridge management informed me it was out of their hands. I refused to pay. The place is dirty and not maintained. If rent is nearly doubled at this property the residents will have no choice but to leave. Sad situation.

Great park,excellent helpful management,takes time to listen and help..couldn't ask for better.This review was before i now tell you what happened by july of this year.MNGMNT SOLD ME A TRAILER SAYING SHE HAD A TITLE..NEVER GOT IT.THEN HELD MY MAIL FIRST 3 MONTHS..EVERYONE WAS HAVING PROBLEMS..THEY NOW HAVE KEYS AFTER SEVERAL REPORTED IT.DONT TAKE HER WORD FOR NOTHING..NOT EVEN YOUR DEPOSIT RETURNED GET IT IN LEGAL FORM.

You will not get your deposit back. I stayed there for 6 months upon leaving Jenifer said she would mail me my deposit, 3 months later no deposit And dodging my phone calls and texts. Sorry to say they are thieves. Place is super run down I had no theft problems. I repeat you will not get your money back. I’m going to get a lawyer involved now there are a ton of reviews stating the same problem I have.

My family and i recently got to experiance trustworthy, caring people all over this park.. The management was extremely welcoming.. They made us feel like a part of a great family and we will greatly miss being there... I would recomend this park to anyone who wants to feel safe and know that good people are on there side.. If we are ever back in dallas we are definatly going back there..

Could not find entrance to this RV Park that I felt safe driving my motorhome into. Couldn't see a sign anywhere from the main road. Turned down a side street right after our GPS said this is where it should be. This side street looked like a trip through an virgin jungle. A tree smashed our satellite dish. I would advise anybody traveling in a large motorhome to avoid this Park.

This place is a joke. DO NOT AND I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE THIEVES AND THE CURRENT FEMALE MANAGER IS THE BIGGEST ONE. MY SON RENTED A LOT FOR 600.00 AND THEY PUT HIM WHERE THE T.V. CAN'T EVEN BE USED. I CALLED HER NUMEROUS TIMES ONLY TO GET HUNG UP ON OR NO ANSWER. WE ARE OUT OVER 1200.00 DOLLARS AND WAS TOLD NO REFUND ON THE RENT ON AN UNUSABLE LOT. DO NOT GO HERE.

I stayed here for two months. The stay was fine. I put down a $525.00 refundable deposit. That was supposed to given back to me. I have now called the management over 100 times left voicemails and they are ignoring my calls. They have hung up on me. Do not trust Jennifer she is the contact for the management there. She will block your calls and steal your deposit!

(I'm African-American) Lived here 2 years. Ok place to live. Diverse tenants. Great central location. Owners hate to spend any $$$ Under new (competent) management as of 12/2022. Talk to them like calm rational adults. Pay your bills & don't threaten to sue them every 15 mins or they'll tow your car for being 3inches in the grass

We have lived in this trailer park for 15 years and it's been a good place for us to live all this time. Ever since the new manager has arrived the trailer park has been more clean and calm and we really appreciate the community here. We haven't had any problems ever since we arrived and the people here have helped us when we needed it.

This place is a nightmare, old mobile homes rotting away, dogs wandering around and the manager tried to scam me and give me a cement parking slab for a car that slanted down 2 feet at one end. For $100 a nite or 375 a week plus elect and water. Very trashy, the other reviews on here are not at all accurate

All the people who have not been given there deposit back need to join together and sew the manager and owner,. If rules were broke that doesn't give them a right to keep a deposit the only reason would be for damages to the lot go to the better business bureau and file a complaint with them

I stayed here for 4 months and gave them a deposit. Kept my place nice and here we are 8 months later and no refund. Jennifer is a liar and they skirt around any truth about why you haven’t gotten your refund. I had to get a lawyer involved and still no refund. Worst place ever!!!!!

I love this place. Ever since me and my wife have moved here we've felt like we are apart of a big family. They look out for you here and take care of you. I haven't once regretted moving here. Plus the manager is awesome. And that's just another perk of many from living here.

Cedar Ridge Mobile Home Park is the best I've seen. Jennifer (Manager)...of the park is very professional, a hard worker, love taking care of people and goes above her job Title. The park is always well kept and the neighbors are all good people. Keep up the good work!!

This is a great RV/Mobile home Park. It is one of a kind, tucked away in the stem-rural part of town. It is minutes from downtown. Private and quiet. Laundromat and WiFi available. Full electric hookups. Country living for short or long stay. Excellent rates.

The management in this place is nothing but a joke. Obviously the owner doesn't care about the growth of his property but just the growth of his pockets.. disgusted by the way this place has been ran.

This is a great place to live or visit. The manager (Jennifer) makes you feel like family. Living here is like living out in the country while having all the convinces of the city. I love it here!!

This is a nice mobile home park very quiet relatively clean well-kept up on the maintenance side and people seem to be a very close-knit, and the most important thing no meth heads.

Love the home atmosphere the park has ...management will help in any way and it has good and bad just like any where else but the lots are huge I have room for everything here

This place is run down and trashy. It stinks. Seriously, the smell was so pungent I could almost taste it. Sorry Sam, you'll have to come visit me next time!

Jennifer stole a breast pump and for almost 2 years said they didn't have it. She left and I got a call it was in their office the whole time.
