What a great restaurant & coffee space located in the thick of beautiful greenery. I love the location and the staff was super friendly! I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was pretty hefty considering I am 6'3 and am a pretty large human. Filled with turkey sausage (although you can get turkey sausage, bacon or avocado), potatoes, egg & cheese, this burrito was absolutely perfect! My girlfriend had the avocado toast with egg & bacon. This was served with a side of pesto aoili, which I've never had before, and I don't know why because this aoili was absolutely perfect with the avocado and sprouts! We ordered Mexican mocha, which provided some spice in our lattes and a robust mocha flavor behind it! We had to wait a little bit longer for our food & I believe it was due to a kitchen mix-up, which tends to happen a lot in the food industry....so I get it. One of the employees was even kind enough to give us a pastry for our patience & frustration, which was admirable & appreciated. All in all, great food & atmosphere with kind customer service. I'll take kind service any day of the week, so thank you all :)

First time visiting on a Monday morning. It wasn't too busy but still bustling for a Monday. Outdoor seating is nice with lots of shade and big fans. There are no issues with flies. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to you, no waiter service. The food was pretty tasty. We tried the Hatch burger w fries, traditional American breakfast, vegan tacos, tortilla soup, and avocado toast. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The vegan tacos were so stuffed that they needed a second tortilla. We also ordered chai tea, matcha, lemonade, and a coffee. The total bill was around $65. Overall, we'd eat here again, but I'm not sure it would be worth a long wait. I understand now why reviews state not to walk around the area. It was a bit sketchy and parking was difficult. No kids' meals either, which is why I deducted a star. I don't see any reason not to offer some sort of kid option, considering they even have a small "kid" play area.

Walking in you feel a little disconnected because it’s counter service when your order and the drinks are serviced to a pick up window and the food is delivered to your table. I guess they save on servers or servers tips maybe but seems a little broken as a warm way to be served. Breaks up the idea of sitting and taking in the atmosphere, reviewing the menu then ordering as standard goes. You walk in and are welcomed nevertheless then order and seat yourself. Drinks are called to the service window but then a suggestion of how to consume is a nice touch as the seasonal mimosas go. The food once delivered is actually well beyond expectations. Had a breakfast sandwich and a breakfast burrito. The chorizo was fantastic and the burrito served with a salsa. BEC had plenty of egg and a side of spicy mayo which is nice compared to normal offerings. Overall, a great experience but just an outside the normal ordering process as expected. Plenty of room inside and out. Even though it’s very hot in the summer for outside in my opinion. Worth a try if you want a solid value and delicious quick breakfast in Austin.

I am the biggest food critic! But for the first time ever, I have not one critique! So this is actually my first time to leave a review about anything EVER! First things first, vibes are everything! Wait! I actually do have ONE minor inconvenience… there could be a “Cenote” closer to the Beaumont, Tx area ‍♀️

I wasn't overwhelmed. Certain things were good and some were not. Like. The coffee is a 5 . However the people working are less than mediocre. Honestly it's like they could care less if you're there or not and asking for extra anything is such an inconvenience for them. That is a 2 star for sure. Ok the food. We did get the apple pancakes which were really good. We also got the OMG breakfast. The plate is overwhelming and quite dry. The biscuit is the worst part. Just a hard dry lump. Don't serve it. The plate is missing a sauce or gravy for sure. The potatoes were nice and crispy and had good flavor but hard to eat cause they are so small. It wasn't the best dish I'm guessing. Overall get the coffee and get pancakes. The service alone would make me not go back.

Stopped by with the intention of having a bite and a drink but immediately changed our minds after seeing how filthy the whole place was. Their prices aren’t cheap and like most places you get asked for a tip for them just taking your order, then you think they might just at least pick up your plates from the table but no… they have signs all over the place for you to BUSS YOUR OWN TABLE. It’s such a shame that a place with such a good location and concept can be so dirty. The restrooms were really disgusting, I wish I had not gone in there. We did enjoyed a golden milk latte and a Chai ☕️ but quickly decided it was have to be on the go.

This was a great spot. Just east of downtown Austin, it was a great place to stop for brunch. They have a daily special menu as well as a fantastic breakfast and lunch menu. They also have a coffee bar and make a horchata nitro brew, which was fantastic. They have an outside area and in door. The most outstanding item was that they have a free Narcan vending machine out in front. This shows that they are participating in combating the opioid epidemic that has plagued the USA. This is a great restaurant.

I absolutely LOVE cenote!! The staff is absolutely amazing!! Especially Jordan, I’m a regular and she always makes my coffee perfect, helps me with any questions when I’m trying to find something new and makes coming here so often an absolute joy. I work in the service industry and always appreciate a person who clearly enjoys their job. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending to my friends <3

A highly recommended neighborhood joint for good breakfast and coffee. My iced mocha was good and I was so hungry I forgot to take a pic of my food. I had the classic breakfast with toast and the homemade jam. It was a very large plate of food for the price and was good. Holy home fries! If you like home fries this is the place for you. Staff were friendly, plenty of seating inside and out and a parking lot at the end of the block.

This place is really good. Casual breakfast joint- you order at the counter and take a seat either inside or out. Went with friends and we ordered a ton of different things. Stars of the show were the apple butter pancakes, biscuits, and the OMG breakfast. Fish tacos were super flavorful but the fish wasn’t warm which was disappointing. Definitely will have to come back next time I’m in Austin!

A great quick and casual lunch or coffee spot! It never disappoints! Their sandwiches and salads always hit. I got a half sandwich and salad combo on gluten free bread. It was great! Felt healthy and fresh, just what we were looking for! They have indoor, outdoor, and covered plant filled patio seating. It’s a very cool spot! The patio will be super nice in the Fall, we’ll be back for it!

They brew Wild Gift coffee (excellent Austin wholesale roaster)! Breakfast sandwich on a croissant is amazing (especially the house sauce). The breakfast burritos are solid. It can get very busy around brunch hour, go early. Tables are first come first serve and you order at the counter.

Im a huge fan of Cenote. The food is awesome and really reasonably priced compared to many brunch spots (especially tacos!). Service is always great. The outside patio is super super great when it’s nice out. The inside is a little grungier and not my favorite, but nothing wrong with it per se just depends on your vibe. Only complaint is that the WiFi is not good outside.

Definitely a cool brunch spot to visit when you’re in Austin. The place has a nice vibe and quite the selection for coffee, food and drinks. Me and my friends enjoyed our brunch. The salmon salad was really good make sure to order the Apple Butter pancakes because it was really amazing! The biscuit that came with my order was really good too. Highly recommend this place! Great service and nice staff as well.

My favourite spot in Austin for brunch, ended up staying here for a couple of hours and ordering more drinks and food. The burritos are great, staff are really friendly and engaging and the atmosphere is real nice. The front yard area is nice for a sunny morning as well. I decided to buy a Cenote shirt so I can rep it in Australia

The quality of the food is ok. As someone looking for a vegan breakfast I ordered the avocado toast with a side of fruit. The fruit is only offered with the oatmeal so I wasn't able to buy it. And I only got one piece of toast with my meal. So I'm still hungry after spending $11 on a piece of toast. Definitely not coming back here.

The burrito was too much of one thing, but the migas are flavorful and tasty very good I highly recommend it. Vanilla coffee latte was rich in flavor, come here early morning before 8:30am you’ll get the best seating with the sunlight. Overall impressive small gem #NoCrimeHere

This little hip coffee shop is so much more! Every dish served was beautifully displayed. Staff was friendly and helpful. But most importantly, the food was so unique and tasty. Grab some breakfast and coffee, eat outside, and enjoy! They are dog friendly as well!

Pleasant staff, great vibe. The lady that made my coffee went out of her way for me and honestly did a great job making it - not a hint of bitterness or over extraction. Food was solid, Chilaquiles sauce had excellent flavor - will be back

I love Cenote. I've been coming here for years, since 2018. Their jelly/jam tastes like happiness and love. However, the owners need to seriously consider getting new furniture and cleaning the place up a bit. This is one of the best
