I recently visited Centennial Park for a family picnic and overall, it was a delightful experience. The best part was the ample free parking available, which made our visit hassle-free. The park boasts a picturesque pond that added to the serene atmosphere, and we enjoyed watching the ducks and other wildlife. Another highlight was the free entry to the beautiful greenhouse, where we explored a wide variety of plants and flowers. It was a great educational experience for the kids. The picnic areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable setting for families to relax and enjoy a meal together. However, I must mention that the park tends to get crowded in the evenings, especially on weekends, which can be a bit overwhelming. Additionally, there were instances of Canadian geese causing minor disturbances, and some dog owners neglecting to pick up after their pets, which was a disappointment. Overall, despite these minor inconveniences, Centennial Park is a lovely spot for family picnics, offering free parking, a scenic pond, and a fascinating greenhouse to explore. With a bit of planning to avoid peak hours, it can be a wonderful place to spend quality time with loved ones in a natural setting.

This is my go-to park in Etobicoke. There's a lot of sporting amenities here, and it's a great place to have a picnic. I'm more attracted to the nature and wildlife throughout the park, and there is plenty! Sometimes, I'll trek up the old landfill hill and take in the views, on certain days you can watch planes taking off or landing at Pearson airport. If you head to the western part of the park, there's a man-made pond where I've seen many animals at different times, including frogs, turtles, snakes, muskrats, groundhogs, mink, snakes, rabbits, deer, and of course, our resident coyotes! If you're looking for extended walking or hiking, then head west across Centennial Park Boulevard and down towards the Etobicoke Creek, where you'll find a trail that goes South towards Burnhamthorpe Road, or head North, where you can reach as far as Caledon if you're really adventurous like yours truly!

Jerkfest is always a hot vibe. Thousands of people and the space to support it. In the past I've always had VIP tickets, this year because I wasn't sure if I could make it I just paid at the door. Tickets are definitely reasonable, but next year I will definitely purchase VIP tickets. Soooo many people, I am always amazed at the volume of people attending this particular jerkfest. Seating is a rare find, and so to have space to spread out in VIP is a great idea. Definitely kid-friendly, toddler-friendly - a little more difficult. So I did find the food to be lower quality this year, not sure what was going on. I did find a hair in my jerk chicken. Next year won't be eating! I tried the jerk salmon- pretty good! So aside from the hair - it was a great experience!

It's a lovely place to go to when one just can't wait for Spring. There are benches to rest upon and enjoy the beautiful flowers! Met some friendly tourists and just passed a little time with suggesting other places to visit. They should have a small cafe section ( outdoors in summer and indoors in winter) for people / tourists / seniors who want to be surrounded in beauty and enjoy the company of others to pass the time of day. This way they would have regular visitors and would make a profit by selling coffee, tea, water, pop, desserts or even sandwiches. Giving seniors a regular place to go to and walk around in would give the Park great reputation for giving back to the community.

Huge park and a great place to spend time with family and kids. There are lots of Cherry Blossom trees there right next to the road, so you can even see them if you just drive through. The view is usually spectacular during the end of april when the trees are in full bloom. The Centennial Park golf centre is also nearby .
Playground
These is a playground with lots of swings and separate swings for toddlers and older kids.
Picnic area
There is a picnic area which can be reserved previously. It is right next to the playground. And a few benches for seating near the trails too.

A very large, open and nice park to enjoy spending time with one's family and friends. There's wide places to play sports, walk or sit at one of various picnic areas. There's also a go kart track which is definitely fun and a playground for people with children. The only downside is that there is often many people here, especially during the weekends which can sometimes make finding a free parking spot rather hard at times. This is to be expected though with popular places such as Centennial Park. If it wasn't for this one inconvenience, this park would have gotten a full five stars for sure.

Centennial Park in etobicoke is a great outdoor space with plenty of parking. It has paved trails making for an easy walk. There’s also disc golf which is essentially golf but played with a frisbee instead of clubs and a ball. Never heard of this sport before but we saw a few people playing and it looks fun. There is also a greenhouse which has a huge variety of plants and flowers. It’s well maintained and so enjoyable to walk through the path and examine all the different vegetation. Definitely a nice way to spend the afternoon.

Nice park, the cherry blossoms are almost open. There are two idiots make fool of people around. They are not even that teenager to this much idiocy to be acceptable. They "hide" a broken cell phone in plain sight with a note saying "this s*** is broken hahaha". We're not from here so we don't really know the park to have it delivered to someone from administration. The idiots sit at distance and laugh loudly at people checking the broken phone. Must have a very boring life to waste time doing this.

The park with literally everything! At great spot for both winter and summer and if your into disc sports, this is the place. If you have a bike, you'll be in heaven with the awesome track they have, and if you just want to walk and chill, this is a great place. Ample of parking and a very convenient location. We went up the little hill that has a trail and my boys enjoyed it. You should visit if you haven't been here already.

  • A A

My friends and I enjoy going to this park for our walking exercises. It is an easy walk since the roads are even. It is a large park with lots of open spaces. Also there are lots of benches to rest. It is so relaxing to go around this park with abundant trees. One can just enjoy the greenery and fresh air. The park also has picnic shelters for rent, disc golf course, ponds, playground. This is a park for everyone to enjoy.

  • Fary H

Very beautiful park with so many things to do. You can play in one of soccer fields or other sports field. You can walk or bike around the park or if you feel more athletic, you can run or bike top of the hill in the park. You can have a picnic in the picnic area. Washrooms are clean.
Playground
There is a playground for little kids

Huge park with so things to do here.. it has skiing and tobogganing on winter. There is cricket field lots of trail. Views from hills are nice. We recently held the Toronto Ancop walk here. My only concern is the parking, we hope there's more and the site we were was on the other side so we took a bit of time to find it. It is also accessible by public transportation. Over all it's a great park.

  • Dhiraj Bhagat

Great place for hanging out at BMX race track or at golf course with friends. Fun to watch baseball matches. Great place to enjoy barbecue. Go-kart track is lovely too, where you can also enjoy fast cars but you would need your license, either physical or a pic would suffice too. You might want to take extra laps on Tuesdays and Thursday as it is discounted up to just $3 on each lap.

  • Steven “Steveo” Warren

When we were here back in May 2023, there was lots of ppl walking their dogs. It was very busy here. There was a track & field competition going on at the same time. There was kids soccer games going on as well. The restrooms were fairly clean I was surprised. When we had time between our games we used the picnic tables they have throughout the park. Excellent park we will return!!

  • Vijay Dhankhar

Lorrie Mitoff Trail starting at Garnetwood Park Mississauga takes you through the woods along with the water stream, Etobicoke Creek. If you go straight it will go to the HWY 401 and if you take the right and cross the road at the end of it, you will find yourself near the lake. That’s the Centennial Park. A very nice spot for picnic, yoga, walk and enjoy with family and friends.

  • Grace Guevara

This is our favorite park to go to when we want to relax, hike, enjoy nature and marvel the cityscapes of Toronto and Mississauga. During spring, we love the young blooming cherry blossom trees. During summer and fall, we love the changing hues of trees and sounds of birds. This place is full during summer but going early morning or late afternoons will give you a bit of space.

  • Nancy Macedo

Amazing park; really something for everyone during every season. We were there on a saturday afternoon - when the sun is not too hot. There were so many families enjoying picnics and baseball games. There is a small part that goes through the forest. Just be careful; there are lots of fallen branches and a few trees. I am interested in returning in the winter for some skiing.

Check jerk fest legendary... Luciano Destra and baby cham preformed the place was packed as you can see from the pictures the energy was right the performances was on point so proud of the West Indian Community putting these things together there were so many different vendors in there so many different things we had an amazing time can't wait for next year jerk Fest...7

  • Evangeline Daniel

This is a huge one to report about it.. We've been to only one part of it from where we could see golf ground, go carting and very spacious area with picnic tables, playgrounds and beautiful trees to give shades. We had a bbq event for around 20 ppl with huge space to have fun activities like kite flying, blow bubbles, dodge ball, tag, lock and key, badminton etc..

  • Ms. T Journey

It‘s sakura season! If you’re looking for a place to see cherry blossom trees, don‘t miss out on Centennial Park. ☺️ There are so many cherry blossom trees near the roadway and fewer people, making it a perfect spot to take some beautiful photos. They also provide free parking so you can park your car and enjoy the cherry blossoms for as long as you like.

  • Jeremy Zavitz

Always a nice park to visit. Besides all of the amenities, the ponds are nice to walk around and there is always plenty of parking and space for privacy within the park. The best part for me are the views that you can get from the top of the ski hill. The Toronto and Mississauga skylines both look pretty great from here, nice to see at sunrise or sunset.

  • Kat G

This is a beautiful park with nice trails. There is plenty of room for picnics and barbecues, the ponds are gorgeous, and the walking trail is very nice. It is a very dusty gravel path, so be mindful of the shoes you wear. Great for biking and disc golf. There is also a playground and a conservatory (which we didn't get to visit this time).

  • Rama Krishna Daripalli

We went to this park recently for cherry blossoms viewing but we're disappointed as the buds are not blossomed yet. This is a huge park with many picnic areas, Go Karting, walking trails and a greenhouse with variety of flowers and cactus. There is a childrens playing area too and I guess this park will be a busiest park in summers.

  • Moira O'Brien

I was very disappointed in this place. We wanted to spend time at the Splash Pad . Not working. It needs a makeover. Amazing how they do not have money to invest in a kids splashed but can upkeep other aspects of the park..Etobicoke, you should be ashamed. Please take note of Mississauga. Very disappointing

  • Anand Dave

Its a big park with no amenities. Today on July 1,2019 on 152nd Canada day has a ribfest and fireworks celebration. Lots of people and too much food ro choose from. Have lot kd ridws for kids and adults. Better if they have trained professionals for management of parking. Heavy traffic and little chaos.

  • Narisa Y. Mohammed

Visited twice.. May 2022 had lots of beautiful blooms.. went especially for the Cherry blossoms... lots of people ...but still an enjoyable experience... Well maintained...lots of parking.. Lots of picnic spaces..large play ground for kids.. Will certainly visit every year to see their spring displays

  • martina white

The best thing about Centennial park is that it’s ever changing! The beautiful views from the top of the ski hill and wild areas. There’s also groomed walkways and trails. I love visiting the greenhouse ESPECIALLY in the winter. It’s a nice pick me up when the snow and cold weather get you down lol.

  • Stefs T

This is a beautiful park! So much space overall. Ample parking space, picnic areas, restroom available. There is go karting as well. Have been here multiple times at different entrance and it's so big and wonderful for morning walk or evening stroll or just sit by the water or an entire day picnic.

  • Latin recipes & Más

It is a beautiful park, well maintained and most of the times clean. The problem are people leaving garbage around after each weekend. Today we noticed a big section of the forest where the trees have been cut. I guess a disease. Hopefully they will get the area clean to plant new trees again.

  • Dirit Sanghani

This place at the least is charming. I keep coming back to it eith my wife and we love it. When most of the places shut down in winterz this place is bustling with people and showing off its beauty it has to offer to all the wonderful people who come here and enjoy it to their hearts content

  • Karan Acharya

Centennial park is a hidden gem in the city. As much as I would like to keep it a secret , this place is amazing for its landscapes and ambiance. I loved the cherry blossoms here as they were less crowded and spacious. We enjoyed every moment here. It’s my go to place for a quiet evening.

  • Sarah Swyss

The park is mostly an enormous field, which I didn't really enjoy to stroll around by myself, probably would feel better with a group. Unfortunately it doesn't have much trees, which is my personal preference, but it still has many nicely planned corners with water, trees, bushes.

  • Katharine Van der Veen

Centennial Park Conservatory is a must-visit! The gardens are looked after well and it offers a beautiful slice of tranquility. As I visited in the winter, proper footwear is needed to explore the park further as the trails are mostly not groomed. Excited to return in the summer!

  • Dharini A

Great place to have a picnic, go for a walk, or just sit and enjoy the weather! Plenty of parking, lots of space and shaded areas to picnic. They also have frisbee golf set up to play. Flower conservatory you can visit. Not sure if the summer activities are open now due to covid.

Beautifully curated greenhouse showroom. Well maintained and stocked. This place is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city especially in the winter months. I wish more cities had public greenhouses.

Pretty cool picnic spot for families and large groups. Some of the picnic areas had more tree cover than others. Washrooms are decently maintained, parking can be troublesome on the weekend. The wading pool is small, bit kids had fun nonetheless.

I was there for the 2023 JerkFest, and it was fun. Luciano, Destra & Cham brought it home as the crowd cheered and moved their body to reggae rhythm.

Cherry blossom, it's looking wonderful. Must go to place in this weekend. Small pond is surrounded with beautiful tress. It's a huge park, go with family, kids and spend the day. Picnic area, for kids play area, washroom, parking is there.

  • Jazmin N

Nice well kept park, nice to go for a picnic. Lots of parking space and it’s so big that doesn’t feel crowded a lot. Some kids were throwing garbage in the grass, and ducks get fed by people which I nos you are not supposed to do.

  • Mario A

Grew up in this park Too bad they took away the tobogganing hills. We used to skate on the ponds on the north side...these are gone too. Still fun to climb the big hill and enjoy the view and planes landing at PIA newrby

  • Chris Welch

I come to Centennial park specifically for their disc golf course. I would not recommend playing though unless it's at a strange hour when no one is at the park. People love to picnic right in the fairway for the course

Went to Jerkfest in the park. The park was clean. All the parking lots were full to capacity, so the walk was very long to get to the event areas. The restrooms could have been better maintained.

Really beautiful large park that is full of things to do. There is a large 18 hole frisbee golf course inside the park which is very fun. Will be coming back here a few more times next summer.

Nice park.. Has children play area and a good stretch to walk.. Had been last week to see the Cherry Blossoms but was a little disappointed as the trees are scattered and difficult to find.

View: Nice, but sometimes a little crowded in summer. Go karts are cheaper than k1 speed, but **STAFF ISN'T THE KINDEST** and the course is a "little" bumpy and the karts aren't that fast.
