Certapro wasn't the only company we reached out to to inquire for the paint job from the 2021 hail damage. First, the response to my online message was very fast. We were actually in a situation where painting is the only thing missing for our house to be back to the way it was pre hail event. Second, Liam was excellent at entertaining our questions. He came over and looked at the work that needs to be done. He replied to our emails quick with follow up calls. He is knowledgeable. Third, the estimate was detailed and they helped us with the paper works needed by our insurance. I say these because the first three people we talked to just kept giving us numbers and telling Us that our house will be charge some extra because it is tall. Fourth, Certapro is consistent and didn't have any hidden charges. We were given an estimate verbally which is the same number when we got the paper estimate, and at the end of the job, we paid that amount. Lastly, the team which includes Courtney and the two men who painted our house were very friendly. They always sound like they are happy doing their job. Awesome energy there! Thank you. In terms of the job itself, my husband and I are very satisfied. We got the colour we wanted and enough left over paint to patch some tiny sections that was missed under the window and for future imperfections( because that will eventually happen). Certapro made our house looks like a home again. They also used the same brand of paint the builder of our house used 8 years ago. We are pleased to provide our genuine feedback about our incredible experience with Certa Pro. The exterior painting of our home by them was outstanding. The management team of Liam and Munroe responded immediately to problem solving and an initial concern with phone calls, e-mail messages and a personal site visit. The administrative staff were polite , efficient with coordination. The leadership of our painting crew displayed by Tyler was impressive. He and his assistant, Aundy were punctual , well organized, worked hard, paid attention to detail, were highly skilled and extremely tidy. They ensured communication by checking in with us regularly. Tyler along with Aundy, offered creative, innovative suggestions, including a darker hue for the house batons, painting the garage and front door the same colour as the house. During the final task Tyler suggested the use of the baton colour to outline the windows of the garage and front doors.The result was definitely spectacular and bold. Hardeep joined Tyler and Aundy for a few days and his quiet presence was a welcome professional addition to the team. Numerous neighbours walked by asking for business cards and our home has had many "wow" responses from family and friends. Certa Pro excelled in their work ethic , pride and quality performance. So I had a great meeting with the sales guy and they came in at a great price compared to other companies. I checked reviews that made it an "easy" decision to choose them. During the sales meeting, I made a couple requests that needed to happen for this to work. 1. Must be dog friendly team. We have a very friendly golden. 2. Furniture and such needed to be covered during the painting. Both were agreed upon by the sales person. They come to get started. One man is terrified of dogs. I had to keep my beautiful pup locked up for the 2 weeks of work. I requested again that things be covered with sheets. They agreed. It was never done. Several household items were ruined by dripping paint. When they began, it was a Saturday. My husband asked for what rooms needed to be prepped for when they returned to work on Monday. (They will not move furniture). They told us and my husband prepped on sunday. Then on Monday, they say we need all this moved too, several other rooms. I had just had surgery and had to prep our entire main floor by myself because their communication was so terrible. On final day, I did a walk theiugh. They had completely missed one cabinet and had to do a rush job on it. Overall, mediocre work. Some paint is chipping only 4 months later. Terrible job on touch ups. Horrible job on sanding. Would only recommend them if you're wanting it done cheaply and are ok with dealing with this mountain of issues.

The completed product (kitchen cabinets) was below expectations. Signs of wet paint running down before drying. Spots completely missed and/or a poor painting job. Places where the wall paint was damaged by what I guess was taping. The stops were not removed from the doors and were painted over. When explained that the doors would be sanded and painted, one would think they would remove the stops. But no. So it leaves you to wonder if the sanding tool place at all. Some of the older stops fell off after and they left with chunks of the paint...leaving (of course) big spots of unpainted wood. We also had the supervisor 'invite' a neighbor into our home to look at the work being done. Not only is this unacceptable behavior, what makes it worse is that we had yet to move in, so the neighbors are complete strangers. To their credit they did fix the paint issues brought up to them, but it did take two more trips. No apologies for the neighbor thing though. I can only speak to their workmanship of painting cabinets, and would not recommend them for that. We have a number of other painting projects, which we will look elsewhere for that.

I first met a Certa Pro salesman, pre the Covid Pandemic, when I was embarking on a major renovation to my home. The pandemic caused delays in all manner of things, including the completion of my home renovation. The exterior painting being the last part of this. The staff at Certa Pro kept in regular contact with me throughout my renovation but were never "pushy". Expert advice was on hand whenever I needed. Eventually, in April 2022 I was able to complete the renovation with the exterior painting. The Certa Pro team arrived promptly, were industrious and courtesy throughout the painting process. I am not a person who opens up willingly and allows access to strangers into my home. However, I had a prior commitment and in order to complete the project I had to leave all of my external doors unlocked and open to allow access for painting. I trusted the team implicitly, I had no qualms about leaving my home and my dog in their care. The work was completed on time and within budget. I am extremely pleased with the work and 100% recommend Certa Pro painters.

When my wife and I moved into our new home, we thought we would get it painted before moving in completely. We reached out to CertaPro for a quote. They were on time, very professional and very knowledgable with all of our questions. The advice we were given for the work we wanted done made the whole project less daunting in our minds. Once we decided to use CertaPro for our project, they booked us in very quickly at a convenient time with our busy schedules. They started the project on time and finished right on time as well while managing our expectations throughout. The painters were very good at what they did and very professional. The communication between us, CertaPro and the painters was fantastic which made everything feel very smooth. Anytime we had any questions or wanted to change direction with any work, they worked with us as the subject experts to get us exactly what we wanted in the best way possible considering time and cost. We are looking to get our ceilings painted next and will absolutely use CertaPro for that work too!

They were on time and showed up when they said they would. The actual painting was done well and looks good. They were clean. The problems were with communication. The painters arrived and didn’t know all the parts we expected them to paint. We had to call the office and they had to explain to the painters. They left without painting all the trim so they came back a few days later and finished up. The biggest issue was they had the wrong paint colour. They painted our house the wrong colour. Lucky for them it matched and worked with our house so we didn’t ask them to repaint with the right colours. They didn’t apologize or explain what happened. Or thank us for not making them repaint our house with the right colours. Or offer a discount. A lesson learned for us, over communicate, list every item that needs painting ( trim is not enough), repeat colour choices, make sure everything is documented. Disappointing experience.

I am very pleased with the service that Certa Pro North has provided in painting the interior of my daughter’s condo. Liam provided me with a detailed quote and Justin followed through with scheduling the painting. They were also excellent in communicating with me throughout the project. I had an issue with the paint color on a couple of the walls as it didn’t quite match the whole house. Justin communicated that to me immediately and offered a solution to get it resolved ensuring that it was painted properly and matched throughout the whole house. It did cost a little more, but I would rather that it was done properly. Tomas did an excellent job on painting the place, it was very professionally done. I am very pleased with the work that they have done and making sure that I am happy with the job. I certainly would highly recommend Certa Pro North to my friends and family and definitely use them again in the future.

I attended the 2019 Calgary Home & Garden Show and that was where I came across CertaPro Painters North’s booth. The reps at the booth were friendly and listen to what painting project I wanted done. They were by far the friendliest painting company at the Home & Garden Show. Liam was helpful and efficient when it came to quoting the project. Although they were a bit higher than the other two quotes I received they still came under my budget. I choose to go with CertaPro because of their professionalism, amazing customer service and they were an accredited company. Working with Justin and Miguel was great! They were very accommodating and easy to work with. The project was completed early but that didn’t compromise the workmanship. I’m very satisfied with the work and will be using them for future painting projects. I will also be recommending CertaPro to all my family and friends!

Would 100% recommend using these guys again. Brandon, the guy that came to give us a quote went walked us through everything we needed to know before getting a quote. There was no rushing or pushiness of any kind. We really appreciated how thorough he was. Both Aaron and Colin (the painters) did such an amazing job - they took their time to make sure that the paint job was great, masking and covering absolutely everything outside. They got here when they said they were going to get here, also really appreciated that there was no smoking outside at our house. There were a couple spots we asked them to retouch and they did it right away without hesitation. Our siding looks so much better than before, our house now looks modern and updated on the outside. We will definitely use them if we have the need for inside and will be recommending them to all our friends and neighbors!!

We had a great experience with CertaPro Painters from start to finish - we wish we had used them for our previous painting project. Our project was deftly handled by Kris, who took the time needed to provide a thorough quote. He was super responsive, accommodating, and professional. For the painting itself, we had a dynamic duo in Karine and Jeff (unsure of spelling), who were simply THE BEST! They did an amazing job, with no need for any touches up, and throughout the process were available to chat and adjust a few minor things before completion. We would give them 11/10 as they are the ultimate professionals (bonus: they are also super nice people). I had my house painted at the end of March 2022. I was not thrilled with the results at first- my house was left extremely dusty and there were a few other issues- over paint on baseboards and one wall repair wasn't smooth. They did return and fix the wall and ended up painting all of my baseboards for me which was awesome and much appreciated. I was upsold on the paint and paid for a higher quality paint however I still think other brands are better as the marks are brutal already and it's been only a few months. I tried to wash some hand prints off the wall (2 months later) as I was told it's washable, but now will have to repaint that entire wall as the streaks are pretty bad. Certa Pro was decent at addressing my concerns, but for what I paid, I expected better and wish I went with Urban Painter who painted my house the first time.

It was late fall in 2022 and urgently looking for a paint job to protect my exterior windows and doors as they wore out badly over years. I was using CertraPro Painters previously with my previous painting job and was really happy with the outcome. This year I was looking for different quotes among three local painters including CertraPro Painters. CertraPro Painters gave me pretty good competitive quotes as compared to others. I decided to go with CertraPro Painters as they managed to book me in very quickly in a week or two before October while the weather was still good to dry up the paint slowly. It was amazing to see that they sent out a group of three painters and got the job done in a few hours. I was very satisfied with the paint job they delivered and highly recommended to others.

I hired CertaPro to paint the exterior of my garage and I am so pleased with the entire process. Chris, the sales representative, was punctual, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I cannot thank the painters Savvy and Kavvy enough. They transformed a 60 year old weather-beaten eyesore that had not been painted in decades into a structure that is an asset to my property. They did a phenomenal job. UPDATE: Savvy and Kavvy returned a few weeks later and painted my large faded multilevel deck and house foundation. Again their work was meticulous and I am thrilled with the results. Two years ago I hired a "painter" from Kijiji who messed up my deck with poor technique and cheap paint. What a difference professional painters and quality paint make. I highly recommend CertaPro Painting.

Josh and the certapro team did an excellent job on painting a bannister and all of the interior walls of our main floor. They were professional, on-time and very accommodating with our schedule (and rescheduling) throughout the booking process and gave a competitive quote. Josh and the on-site team were punctual, friendly and very communicative throughout the 3 day schedule. They worked with the paint I bought and selected despite not being familiar (Farrow and Ball). They even ensured they could come back to finish some final walls that could not be completed due to other contractors in an expeditious manner even though not originally expected to be required or scheduled. I would happily use certapro again and recommend to others.

My experience with CertaPro Painters Calgary North was great end-to-end. I requested an estimate for painting my deck including handrails, stairs, and skirting. Liam estimated the job in person and educated me about all steps of the process, types of paints, details of the scope of work, timing, etc. He sent me a comprehensive quote the same evening. After accepting the quote, Justin contacted me to schedule the project. He accommodated my request for performing the job earlier than the scheduled date. The painter (Miguel and his team) were detail-oriented and professional. The job was done in a tidy and clean way, and Miguel communicated with me during the process. I recommend CertaPro Calgary North with no hesitation.

Requested a quote from a few painting companies and Certa Pro was the only one to respond and show up to discuss the project. The price for the project was in line with what we heard from friends who had recently had their home exterior painted. They let us know what the process would be like, made sure we would be kept up to date on when each stage would occur and were very professional. They kept the job site clean and were very detailed about painted the exterior of the house and did an excellent job. We have now experienced our first winter with the new paint and it still look as good as they day they completed the work. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone and would use them again.

Unfortunately, I did not have the same positive experience as many of the other clients who have left reviews. I hired Certapro to refresh the paint and ceiling of my apartment. The original group of painters were not professional in their quality. They left numerous paint drips and did not even paint multiple areas that were included in the contract. Eventually, I had to ask Certapro to bring a different painter to complete the touchups. He was great and professional. The areas he improved now look much better. Unfortunately, the amount of errors committed by the original team made it challenging to identify each one. There are still problem areas, with a couple of attached photos as examples.

We recently re-landscaped our yard, including build of a new fence. On short notice, our Landscaper advised they would be on site planting grass, trees, shrubs, gardens etc in 2 weeks. Fence painting became a priority for us. After calling several services who couldn't help us, CertaPro was able to meet our tight deadline. We had a Supervisor onsite to review and estimate project cost within days. Cost and scheduling was reasonable. Painters were onsite 6 days later, early morning to confirm the work to be done, confirmed paint color. Work was completed early evening that same day. All the folks we engaged with were friendly and professional. We highly recommend the team at CertaPro.

We worked with Liam last May to repaint our entire exterior of the house. We had challenges on peeling paint in the past with a couple of painters and we finally landed on Liam. Liam is very professional and courteous. He examed the issue carefully and even called a specialist to help analyzing the issue and come up with a plan to prevent the peeling. The quote is very competitive and we went ahead with him. The crew is very professional and covered our plants and deck/porch to keep the area clean. We hired CertaPro to stain the exterior siding of our home and garage. The sales rep (Dan) who came to do the estimate was professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. After painting started, we began to have second thoughts about our chosen colors. CertaPro supported us all the way through several alterations, even redoing an entire wall, to make sure we were satisfied with the results. The actual painting crew (Tyler, Lucas, Nikki) were absolutely amazing. Meticulous, professional, good-natured, and a pleasure to work with. Extremely pleased with the whole experience. The on-site quote was clear and concise with no gimmicky up-sells. The appointment coordinator was very communicative especially because we had to reschedule several times due to our very wet spring. Josh and the staining crew were very professional and their level of knowledge and experience provided comfort as they worked tirelessly towards an amazing result. This is my second time working with CertaPro and they did a really fantastic job the first time around, I wasn't sure how they could top my experience the second time but they did. Liam is amazing again this second time to work with in the planning stage. Courtney was diligent with setting up our appointment and following up. We have a century home on which we ecently replaced the front windows with new wood sash windows. While the inside of the windows were painted, the outside was not. There were many finicky edges to do between the red frames, the white borders and the green shakes on the house. CertaPro gave me an estimate, then called to say they had a cancelation and could come the very next week. We were away on vacation, but the painters did the job while we were away. We came home to a beautiful set of windows! The edges were sharply defined and the windows looked fantastic!! What a great job!

CertaPro painted our deck last summer. Daniel came out to give us a quote and was timely and very professional. Our deck required power washing first before painting. The resulting paint job was FANTASTIC and our deck looks excellent! However, when they power washed it, they left wood pulp debris all over our adjacent stone patio which was challenging to clean up. When I gave feedback to CertaPro regarding this, (with photos), I never heard anything back from them. I would have given the job a 5/5 but the mess (and lack of response regarding our concern) brought it down to a 3/5.

Very professional and great people to work with. Liam came in and gave us a quote right on the spot and they were so good with rescheduling as our renovations kept having delays. Really appreciated Liam's honesty. The workmanship is excellent and the people who come to your home are super friendly. They stick to the quote they give you and there are no hidden fees. I saw my neighbor getting a quote for his house to be painted. I asked if there was time to give me a quote. He was busy but came over to look after my request. He was quick, friendly and efficient. One week later a crew showed up to paint the house. They were friendly and efficient and did a great job of painting and took pride in clean up afterwards. My neighbor hired a different company. The quote that Liam provided came in less than two of their competitors. Liam is very knowledgeable and has significant experience in the industry. We met with their Color Consultant, who was very helpful, and we are very pleased with our color choices. The painting crew did an excellent job, from repairing the drywall (we had an intercom system removed), to the application of the high quality paint. They did a fantastic job, and our walls have never looked better. They took good care of the contents in each room, covering them with plastic sheeting where necessary. Had Certa-Pro come in to do drywall & stipple repairs in my kitchen then paint the ceilings. Ceiling looks terrible, the painter left a huge mess that took over 9 hours to clean + he left dirty hand prints all over my previously freshly painted walls. Asked management to correct the situation and they told me it’s my problem and were completely unwilling to do any type of customer service at all. Definitely regret using Certa-Pro and will not consider them again….like in my new house that I move into in a month which needs a full repaint.

From the moment we called for a quote to the time the project was completed CertaPro Painters were fantastic, Brandon the sales rep was on time understanding of our project,caring and thoughtful and the price was fantastic. The painter Ciaran was amazing and wonderful to deal with during his time in our home completing the painting project. CertaPro did an excellent job painting the upstairs of our house. I contacted them while very pregnant. I had been staring at this painting project for weeks knowing it needed to be done but being less and less able to do it myself. they were able to fit us in before baby was born and it looks so great. I really appreciate the effort that was made to fit our timeline and the efficiency in which they worked. It ended up being such a minor disruption to our otherwise chaotic life.

My husband and I had a rear deck to our house that had been painted the prior Summer, but after one year the paint was peeling off. The deck had originally been painted by CertaPro Painters. We contacted them since it was still under warranty, and they came out to look at it, and then returned to re-paint, it at no charge to us. At all times the personnel were professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful, and we were very pleased with their service.

These guys did an excellent job on our exterior painting. We have a two-story duplex and had very specific ideas about the color scheme we wanted (what gets painted what). In a matter of days, they carried out the plan with little supervision. They were also, without a doubt, the most responsive of all the companies we contacted - they were excellent communicators. They also did some minor repairs along the way, which was very helpful.

I recently contacted Brandon at CertaPro Painters to get a remote estimate for a home we were looking to purchase. He was very thorough with his questions since he could not view the property and had to go off pictures. I'm a complete idiot when it comes to colour. I'm so glad that I trusted Liam and I'm thrilled with the result. Liam also helped to provide a quote based on my budget. I'm hoping to save up some more so we can complete the main floor and the basement in the future. The only thing I hate after painting is the fine dust that got everywhere. Is there an attachment for the ShopVac that combines sanding and sucking up dust?

Had CertaPro paint our back deck. The whole process was smooth and friendly, and I am happy with the final product. It was a trickier job, she had to paint around a hot tub, bbq and reach a very awkward pergola, and I am blown away how well she managed these obstacles. It looks like everything was taken off our deck as I don’t see any of the old paint around the hot tub, etc. I will use them again in the future :)

CertaPro recently painted the interior of our house. From the initial contact via Dan, the color consultant Patricia and right the way though to the end of the project I found their service professional, good quality, caring and most of all left the house neat and tidy at the end of the job. Estimator Liam came out was very knowledgeable and helpful and open to working with us on a very tight time schedule. Justin and painter Thomas did a great job on site. Painting that was completed was excellent, done on time and on budget. Highly recommend CertaPro North, I will call them again for future painting projects.

I have used Certa Pro for both the houses I have lived in, and they have been great. Liam is so friendly and accommodating when coming to quote/email back. We had our upstairs hallway and stairwell painted by CertaPro. They were very professional. The quote process was fast and easy. They were actually the lowest price of the 2 companies we had quoted. The painter was amazing (sorry I forgot his name). He completed the job in one day. The quality is excellent. No mistakes or blemishes. I would absolutely use CertaPro again in the future.

Liam was excellent at working with us to stay within our budget and offered up different options at different price points so we could decide how we wanted to proceed. The crew that came in to paint were fast and did a great job. Whole main floor, stairwell and 2nd floor hallway were completed in about a day and a half. They came back promptly to make a few touch ups where needed.

Excellent service, they were able to book us in quickly before our move in date and come to complete the work. Did a great job painting tenant occupied space and did it er than expected. They were on time every day and followed the plan. Moved things themselves when necessary and put most of it back. Minor touch ups required but they came back right away to fix any defects.
