This past week, through CertaPro, I had Wayne Tribble and his team prime my ceilings, do drywall repair, and paint my entire condo. Wayne and his team were outstanding. First off, Wayne immediately went out of his way on a weekend to meet me beforehand to go over the paint job. I gave him the keys to my place, and he started early that Monday morning. I even dropped by around 10 PM later that week to have a sneak peek of the new colors, and he was still there working hard. Whenever a question came up, I could easily text or email him and he was super responsive. I had an accent wall color chosen that was custom made, and Wayne went to multiple places to make sure the color matched perfectly--he went above and beyond. Even though I had a lot of work that needed to be done, Wayne and his team finished it within a week. During the walk-through after the job was completed, I was amazed. My condo looked like a brand new place. He and his team did a meticulous job. I have a lot of custom shelving that's built into the coat closet and bedroom closet, and there wasn't a speck of old paint left. The paint job was extremely thorough, and every surface--even behind large appliances and custom shelving, were completely covered. HUGE thanks to Wayne and his team for an incredible job. I would definitely recommend him for any paint/drywall jobs you need. First class work. NOTE: When I had CertaPro come out to my condo for the estimate, Eric was fantastic. Super approachable, disarming, and not pushy at all. After I signed the estimate I received, I was introduced to one of the CertaPro project coordinators through email who would relay my information to a painting team. She was VERY hard to track down. I wouldn't get an email response until over a week later (after calling Eric wondering if she was on vacation). Once she finally introduced me to Wayne and his team, the rest of my communications were with him, so it was super easy. Wayne was very organized and patient, so once he and his team were on the project, everything went smoothly. He is the main reason why I give CertaPro five stars. Would hire Wayne and his team again in a heartbeat.

Inadequate preparation, inappropriate tools. I would not recommend CertaPro Painters. We hired them because our old house could have lead paint, and they are somehow certified to deal with that. On the initial walkaround with the salesperson, it was explained that there would be no sanding, only scraping. They would catch the scraped-off paint chips on ground sheets. Without sanding, you get "mapping" under the new paint, i.e. visible edges between where peeling paint was scraped off and intact paint was left. I said this would be fine. As it turned out, the painters simply painted over many areas with peeling paint that could easily have been chipped off with a fingernail (they actually used putty knives, not paint scrapers). When I pointed this out, they always said, we have to be careful, there might be lead paint, but the prep was really just inadequate. Pros: - Friendly people - Good masking - Lead certified - Pretty good communication - The on-site supervisor did a nice job on the front door and the front steps Cons: - The painters scraped using putty knives instead of paint scrapers. When they were done "prepping," peeling paint was often still present, easily removable with a fingernail. I am still finding places where peeling paint was simply painted over. - The painters used rollers instead of paintbrushes, leaving a stippled texture, like non-skid porch paint. This is not a good look for siding and trim. - The painters were sometimes weirdly careless, for example scraping half a windowsill and ignoring the peeling paint on the other half. - Also careless was taking down the peeling house numbers, painting the house, and then just putting the peeling house numbers back up (I took them down and am painting them now).

I have never given a bad review but in this case, our experience was so negative, I feel I need to for other's sake. We had hired CertaPro Painters but they walked away on the morning the paint job was to begin, even though we had a signed agreement. Their sales agent, Eric, gave a competitive bid and offered a color consultant to advise, who was very good. Their manager, Anne, initially was responsive. When the painting crew arrived, they said this job was much bigger than described. I called Eric who said he was on his way over, but he never came. He told me on the phone that it would cost $8,000 more than the original bid! He also brushed aside the signed agreement I had with CertaPro and finally acknowledged perhaps he had overlooked an email where we confirmed we wanted the woodwork painted. He took zero responsibility. I texted the manager, Anne, with no response. We heard nothing from CertaPro all day, leaving us high and dry with our house a mess and unpainted a week before Thanksgiving. I finally emailed Anne who said she was sick suddenly. She appeared shocked that Eric had not come to our home to try to resolve the situation, which seems like remarkably poor communication between the manager, responsible sales agent, and the client. She said Eric was an inexperienced sales agent, though I see he has been there for at least 9 months. Anne said she could see if the painters would do the job on the side, but by this time I had found D'Unique Painters, LLC who ended up being fantastic. Anne said she wanted to remedy the unprofessional behavior of their company - but I never heard from her again. The good news is, D'Unique Painters, LLC could not have been better in every way.

Halfway through our whole house paint job and we're calling the absentee "supervisor " to complain about stuff that we talked about up front, like dust containment, surface sanding that didn't happen, no one is asking us how the progress is looking so far. If you enjoy micro management yourself. ...hire these guys you'll have your hands full. I'll add a final review when they're finally done Which was promised to be today. Is it too much to ask for a deck that's barefoot friendly? Yeah I had to do the sanding and filling these guys didn't think was necessary, they were busy with other projects wedging us in at the end of a day of servicing clients who didn't complain as loud. We eventually got our house looking first rate the ceiling skim is well done but man what a labor of slog.

very happy we used CertaPro Painters for our home exterior painting! They were responsive and quick to get us an estimate and their pricing was great. We ended up having to postpone of work from fall 2020 to spring 2021 for budgeting reasons, but they honored the price of our initial quote and got us on the docket for painting as soon as the weather got nice! Very nice team, timely and responsive painters, and they gave us a schedule so we knew when to expect them and what was needed from us in terms of clearing and removal. I cannot recommend them enough! How they washed, prepped and painted our house and doors in under 5 days blows my mind!! Don't waste your time looking elsewhere - CertaPro is who you want to use!

Estimator was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Office was slow to schedule my job, and after a few follow ups they responded late one evening to inquire about starting the job the next day. Not ideal, but it worked out. The job captain was communicative, friendly and responsive to my QC requests, and the team was hard working. They neglected to use drop cloth during scraping, so I'm dealing with chips everywhere. However, so far, the paint job result is high quality and holding up. I'd recommend them, but make sure you're doing your part as the customer to oversee the work to get the best results. Overall, I'm getting great compliments and am happy with the outcome. Good value + a decent warranty.

Alan and his team at CertaPro North Seattle recently completed painting of a large commercial building that I manage. I had received two other bids from different vendors when I made contact with Alan. He quickly turned around a quote in less than a week and his pricing came in well below the other two vendors. His team completed the project quickly, professionally and were communicative throughout the entire process. He took the time to meet on site with the building owner to ensure that everything was done to their standard and made the entire process extremely easy for me. I would highly recommend using them for commercial projects and plan to continue using them at the other properties I manage.

Megan is truly remarkable to work with. Under her care, we have gotten both the inside and the outside of our house painted. I expect that once in awhile, a mistake might be made, but what is important to me is how a business handles the mistake. When we ran into an issue, Megan was responsive and apologetic and ensured the problem was fixed immediately with no added stress or cost to us. I was impressed that she went out of her way to guarantee we were satisfied with the workmanship, the workers themselves, and the process. CertaPro provided excellent work, starting with a detailed written estimate and responded promptly to our questions about the estimate. Scheduling was prompt and CertaPro kept us well-informed about the timing for our project. Our painter was very detail-oriented. He did excellent paint preparation in difficult areas and was conscientious about protecting our landscaping, walkways, etc. The quality of the paint job was very good even in areas with prior sun damage to the old finish. Overall the CertaPro team was easy to work with, and there were zero uncompleted items when it came to the final punch-list. We would use them again for future painting.

We were extremely pleased with the exterior painting by CertaPro of Seattle. Initially we had a very helpful color consultation with their representative that helped us to finalize the color choices. The same painting team was there for 5 days and they were friendly and discussed possible choices with us. At the end there was a final walk through to make sure everything was completed. We are quite pleased with the job done. The price was slightly less than another bid so it appears we received very good value as well.

The CertaPro team was great. We had them paint our rental house in Seattle. Megan, the sales person, was on time, professional and thorough. We have used CertaPro Painters of Seattle for several indoor and outdoor painting projects with stellar results. The latest involved painting our west-facing front doors which were new in 2018 but with just varnish over wood were getting distressed. They were sanded, damaged areas filled, caulked, primed with a something to last longer and sprayed -- look amazing and saved them from needing replacement otherwise. Some trim was done at the same time with scraping, sanding and painting.

They destroyed multiple outdoor plantings on my patio, including stepping in planters, trampling plants, and knocking the entire top off one of my trees. There are big drip marks in the fresh paint, and somehow, patio furniture from two neighbors down is now on my terrace. Unprofessional to the max.

Certapro painted my new condo interior - they were the most responsive in organizing a team (i met the project manager on Thursday for a quote, they got a team in to paint on Monday). they also offered the lowest quote, and also got it done in one day instead of the quoted two. The job was well done and I am very happy with my experience with them.

CertaPro painted my exterior about a year ago and it looks fantastic. From working with the office staff to having the painters out at my home, it was a great experience. The work crew was timely and did a thorough job in prepping the exterior of my house for painting. The completed work was excellent and even with a steep slope on one side of the house the crew found a way to complete the work without needing to rent special equipment. They came back and touched up area when notified right away,

I had two stairwells with high ceilings that I couldn't paint well with a roller. CertaPro Painters helped me out and were able to get the work done the same day as the estimate. It took their guy half a day and cost $1,000 so there is definitely some markup in there, but I needed the work done the same day and they delivered.

I hired CertaPro to paint the exterior of my house as well as a few interior walls. The price seemed reasonable and the work was done even faster than expected. There was poor communication between CertaPro mgmt and the workers who came out to my house so the timing was not what I asked for but it all worked out in the end.

CertaPro was PROFESSIONAL. They were prompt, did an amazing job in the time they said they would. Everything was pristine and back in its place once they were finished. I'd definitely recommend them and use them again!

Very happy with this company who painted my house in N. Seattle. They did a good job on prep, cleaned up after each day, were quiet, wore masks and did a very detailed job on the painting itself.

They did a great job and painted over spaces I could never reach. They also pressure washed the house and removed the moss growing on the north side. I'd use them again if it came to that.
