Late lunch date with my sister. We have been wanting to try the Venezuelan restaurant that opened up in Orleans, Chamos Grill and bar and heard they recently moved to their new location on Lacolle way, off Trim rd. Owners Sara and Araya are soo sweet, and I could see how proud they were to finally open a sit down restaurant (did I mention, with a bar!) They make their arepas and empanadas daily and by hand. All the items on the menu are made with love, passion, fresh ingredients and are full of flavour. When I placed our order, I got one beef/cheddar and one chicken/cheddar arepa, one beef and one chicken empanadas, I also asked them to pick one thing they like on the menu and they picked their new menu item called the plantain baskets. OMG, these were so cute!! Everything we ate was so delicious and flavourful, it's some of the best arepas we have tried!! I also snapped a few pictures of their decor, so nice. So I’ll start off by saying the food itself is great quality and delicious. Unfortunately, the ordering process plus us getting our food wasn’t a great experience. Placed our order online through the website. Order got cancelled 1 min later. Instead of getting a call from the restaurant to explain, just a cancelled order.... I then called asking the reason, they didn’t have ONE of the items of the 5 we were ordering. Not a great online system if you ask me. Hopefully that improves in the future. Anyways, we placed another order right after without the item that wasn’t available. Order confirmed, pickup between 540-550. We got their at 541. Got into the car. Food was not warm at all. When we got home and started eating we realized that one of the burgers we ordered that was supposed to have mushrooms and onions (which was $2 more than the burger I ordered) had none of those items on it. Also be warned, the “medium” wings are actually quite spicy and I would classify them as hot. The sauce was thrown in with the wings with no care, not covered in the wings at all. All around a very varied experience. We will likely try them out again bc the food was still quite good but I’m disappointed in our first experience here.

As a preface, I am originally from an area in the U.S. with a large Hispanic community. I found so much comfort in Latin American food, especially arepas and lomo saltado. All that being said, when I moved up here I knew the Latin cuisine wasn’t going to be the same. I had been craving a good arepa and lomo saltado for some time. My partner stumbled upon this place and since I’ve talked so highly of arepas, it was a perfect chance for us both to have some. This place did not disappoint! The lomo saltado was wonderful, but the stars of this show were the arepas. These were seriously the best arepas I’ve ever had. I know arepas aren’t super well known around here, and if you’re a little hesitant to try them, I recommend the mini arepas. They are so filling and are a great way to taste test the different kinds. I recommend dipping them in the green sauce (thanks Aria) and the spicy sauce together. Shoutout to our server, Aria! Not only for the sauce recommendation but for the carrot cake recommendation as well, and just being a wonderful person to talk to. This place is great!!

I recently visited Chamos Grill & Bar and truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm smile and excellent customer service that made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect - a relaxed and inviting environment that made me feel right at home. The decor was tastefully done, and the seating arrangements were comfortable and spacious, allowing for a great dining experience. But of course, the food was the highlight of my visit. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was absolutely delicious. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with a perfect blend of flavors that tantalized my taste buds and left me wanting more. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The excellent customer service, good food, and inviting environment made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and an enjoyable evening out. Keep up the good work!

Missed lunch and was hungry so decided to try this place out today and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a classic burger with cheese combo with fries. I was the only customer being served and was told it would take between 5-10 minutes which was a good sign as that meant it was being freshly cooked. It was worth the wait the burger was juicy and delicious. The portion sizes are very generous, the combo comes with medium sized and I found that size to be more than enough. I could not finish the fries, which I should add were not instant fries that most fast food places serve, but fresh fries. The cook that served me was friendly and the kitchen was following COVID protocols. It is a small kitchen running out of a small store so it is only takeout or delivery but there are some tables outside which in normal times you could eat at. If you are in Orleans and looking for a good burger then I recommend this place, they also have wings which I am tempted to try.

DELICIOUSNESS! The burgers are out of this world! The fries are amazing! My favourite burger of all time is the MeatHeads Grill burgers! Yummmmmm! I’ve been ordering take out with my family from here at least once a month (definitely more) since they’ve been open. Last Friday there was a mix up and we were short a meal, they were soooo busy that day and we had enough food to share with the one whose order was missed, we also had to microwave the patties because they came to us pink inside…. I have to add that this is not typical of MeatHeads, quality has never been an issue, it was also an easy fix, the meals are so big that despite a meal missing from our order, we still had plenty of food and everyone was stuffed. Even after all that I highly recommend eating here, especially if you’re a burger lover!! Don’t worry MeatHeads, I will always come back!

So montanas orleans closed... which were the best wings in orleans. Looking for a new wing place. The girlfriend suggested this place. Terrible. To be clear we ordered and our receipt was #222 and prepared at 624pm today. It arrived at 7pm. So it was quick... montanas was always slow... so this could be good. But what we got for 35 bucks was insultingly bad. 7 of the smallest wings possible. They must have been taken from the chicks still inside the egg.... and there were ONLY 7!!! THERE WAS NO SAUCE IN THESE 7 CHICK WINGS... AND NONE ON THE SIDE!!! (ORDER WAS FOR 1LB OF HOT WINGS). The pulled pork burger was ok. Not bad. After reading the reviews they are either false reviews or it was Meatheads worst day ever. In any matter not 5 more cents going to meatheads from our house. There were 7 baby wings... 13.50. So $2 per wing!!!!! Very unhappy customer

Came here for the first time and one thing is their pictures online don’t do this place justice. Massive portions of absolutely delicious, authentic food at a ridiculously fair price point. The service and food was 12/10

This is the best restaurant in orleans hands down and one of my favourite in Ottawa!!! The food is authentic and spiced just right. The ingredients are high quality and it is not overly complex but the right amount so you can taste every flavour. You can tell the chef/owner really knows what he’s doing and puts his heart into the food it is AMAZING. The drinks were equally as good. I had a mango daquerie that brought me right back to Mexico. Adele our server was fantastic in recommending dishes and making drinks! The atmosphere was wonderful. I can’t wait to go back. Honestly my fav new restaurant!!!

Just ordered the Philly cheese steak (upgraded to combo for fries and pop) a bacon cheese burger (upgraded to fries and pop) and a kids grilled cheese (fries included). I regret not taking pictures but frankly as we opened the bag and the individual containers we couldn’t resist ourselves. The Philly is a large sandwich. The portion of meat is large. Frankly, it’s where you want it. I barely touched the fries but I’d say they were average / above average chip truck style fries. The bacon cheese was “great / would order it again” “loved the thick bacon and real cheese. The kids grill cheese was “” that’s the gesture we got from our daughter while she continued to eat the sandwich. The grilled cheese was on a (hoagie) style bun (just like the Philly). Happy we found this gem!

We have being enjoying the delicious food and amazing service for a while and we highly recommend Meatheads Grill to one and all! What we really like and are so proud is that Jessy obtains his ingredients from local sources for which we wholly support! His Poutine is second to none and his Signature Burgers with his own BBQ sauce is outstanding! We did experience his new offerings , the Holiday Poutine is something everyone should experience, the Gravy is to die for along with St.Albert Cheese and Roasted Turkey! In closing, we here in Orleans are honoured to have Meatheads in our community and so proud of having Jessy a part of our Orleans family! If you do live outside of Orleans, Meatheads is so worth the journey!! Thank-you Jessy! Please don’t stop believing!!

We went because they have Gluten free options. The food was great; we had empanadas and areas that were fresh and delicious. The decor was very cheerful and the music was lively without being too loud. We'll definitely return and recommend it to friends.

Great Latin American food (Peruvian, colombian and Venezuelan), Amazing latin American food doesn't have to be just Mexican. Althought, great food but doesn't make up for the rest of the continent. It is my third time eating at this Venezuelan restaurant; and I have to say that it always remind me of the home cooked meals my mom used to make ! The Venezuelan Pabellon and Bandeja Paisa are just delicious and honestly these dishes are big enough for two people! the shreded meet / chicken empanadas are amazing …and desserts are just yummy! Chamos has all the charm and warmth you expect in an intimate restaurant. The manager, Alicia was a delight and very kind. We had the beef Arepas and let me tell you they were a generous portion and so full of flavour! The layout of the dining room is really good and makes room for all diners while also having plenty of space between tables so you don’t feel cramped. The small space is maximized and I was impressed. I had the coconut cheesecake for dessert, a first for me but I can assure it will not be the last! If you’re curious about Venezuelan cuisine but are not sure where to start, Chamos is the place to go.

I just had the greatest experience from Meatheads grill restaurant. Customer service that I received from Eve was very friendly and professional. The food didn’t take long. My food was AMAZING, usually after a burger I feel heavy but this meal didn’t make me feel sluggish or of any sort. I even took my client out to eat there and he does not like anything else but Mc’Donalds. I think he enjoyed it more than I did especially the sauce of the day “yum yum”. I most definitely will be going there again and continue to support local business such as this one! Thanks again guys

The food here is amazing!! Especially their Arepas :) *chefs kiss*. They give you big portions at good prices, and everything tastes fresh. My partner and I have been looking for authentic Latin American/Hispanic food in Ottawa that did not just consist of tacos and burritos. Stumbled upon this place through social media and they did not disappoint. Our server Aria was super sweet and kind :) we will definitely be coming back for some more!!

You would never know from the outside that this pretty, charming, dare I say enchanting atmosphere was inside. Simple food with tons of flavour and with very generous toppings on the arepas. Very friendly service and beautiful decor. I didn't have dessert but my friend did (coconut cheesecake) and her eyes rolled back in her head when she took the first bite so it must've been really good.

Best burger in town ! Went to Meatheads on Dec 28th,2019. I was pleasantly surprised by this small burger joint. Yes...it is in a Quicky mart. As the owner gave me my burger, suddenly a big beam of light flashed upon my huge bacon and cheese burger and yes the angels were singing !! It’s that good ! Very juicy, made to order. Very fresh ingredients. The poutine was fantastic ! Fresh cut fries, double fried. The sauce was very good. Very clean place, great service with a smile ! A must try for the whole family !

They had a half price wing promotion going on and after hearing all the amazing reviews we decided to try it out and support local. We were extremely disappointed. The wings were over cooked, nearly burnt. The wings were also extremely small. We bought four lbs to share between two people and still were left hungry. Making something else for supper at home. The wings were so dry that I think they were refried to order. As much as we like to support local during these difficult times, we will not be returning.

We were looking for a different dining experience and we found it! From the moment we walked through the door. The atmosphere is fantastic only overshadowed by the food! We enjoyed every aspect of this visit and will be back!

Finally went out and tried Meatheads Grill today after feeling teased by their social media posts, haha...and they did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and genuinely care about customer satisfaction, and the food my wife and I had was outstanding - we each had a burger and tried the poutine and the chili cheese fries, and everything was absolutely delicious from the first bite to the last. Definitely not what one would expect from a little place located inside a Quickie convenience store!

Just had the Orleans Steak Sandwich poutine combo and all I can say is INCREDIBLE. Loved talking to Jesse he really cares about his product. If I had been smarter I would have asked for additional hot peppers just because I like the heat they provide. The poutine was the best I have ever had. We also got the Stay Dog burger and the classic. The chutney on the Stray Dog burger was freshly made as he finished it about 10 minutes before we arrived and let us have a small sample. 5 Stars

LOL! So the first time I went there I was so Unimpressed with the items I received for the price! First off they didn't have what I wanted. Then I decided on a Philly and a Chicken sandwich. The sandwiches were bland and tasteless, soggy and fell apart due to the bun being Stale-Frozen! So I wanted to give them another go, decided to order a burger... But its Tuesday ... and apparently they close on Tuesday WHO CLOSES ON TUESDAY ... Ah well! My one star review stands! Won't go back

I’ve read all of the 1-Star reviews and I’m absolutely horrified. I personally don’t understand what restaurant they ate at. My partner and I had dinner here and we absolutely loved it. The mini arepas and empanadas were exactly what we needed. We will most certainly be back again.

Came here for my birthday and they really did the most to make it a special dinner! We were a large group and they set up the outdoor patio in the cold just for us and played any music we wanted. Great burger! Went and it was just starting to get busy around 5pm. Family ordered 3 bacon and cheese burgers, one mushroom burger and one poutine. Knowing this isn’t fast food, but good food done right - the wait time seemed right. They were obviously busy - for quality you have to wait. It was quality. They even threw in 2 drinks for my kids - clearly they care about their customers. We will be back!

Went to Chamos on a whim and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. Shared beef and avocado arepa, tequeños, cheese empanada, tiramisu and more with friends and it was all good. Will definitely be eating here again!

Was just there for the first time and I had the pulled pork. It was absolutely amazing . The owner also let me try his scallop potatoes and they were amazing. I recommend that everyone must try. Visited Meatheads for the first time today, hands down its the best burger I've had in ottawa. The staff was awesome and had an amazing attitude. They made us feel welcomed even though it was brutally hot today they served us with positive vibes and a great smile. I tip my hat at this establishment you guys really have a good thing going here.

Incredible experience today! Went in to grab my takeout order (ordered over the phone) and it was already ready to go! Very friendly staff and the food was great. Highly recommend the Orleans Philly Cheesesteak (maybe ask for extra BBQ sauce as well because it was great) and the poutine. Will definitely come back with some friends!

Went for lunch there the other day and got the pulled pork burger it was a really good portion and tasted amazing probably one of the best pulled pork burgers I’ve found. Only thing I think that could Improve is there fries were a little bit soft and could be fired for a little bit longer in my opinion. Will definitely be back!

I have to say that I went bacon overboard, but it's so yummy! I took the bacon burger with a bacon poutine.... I hope my doctor won't see this post. Lol the burgers are handmade with love and the poutine has just the right blend of spices in the sauce and just the right amount of cheese. It's worth the 30 minutes drive

Great food at reasonable prices. It's all good, but the arepas are the star of the show here. If you get one thing, get yourself one of those.

We ordered from meatheads this past weekend and we were not disappointed. We ordered 2 kids meals, really impressed with the size. We also ordered 2 burgers and poutine. Wow!!!!! Best burgers in ottawa. Poutine had just the right amount of gravy and cheese. We are very impressed and will be regular customers.

wow, this place is awesome. easy to miss this place as it's located in another store but the bbq here is the truth. Had a turkey sandwich on sourdough (love that we we can customize orders here) and it was the best I've had in my life. They also do catered meals and I'll hire them for my next party no doubt.

They got their running legs under them, and wait time for food is a lot quicker. Food is authentic and good!

I love going down to Meatheads. If you follow them on Facebook, you see how much the people who work there genuinely care about their food and their customers. I had the some wings and fries. The barbecue sauce was great as well as their *meatheads’ rub*. If you’re in the Orléans area, worth checking out.

I have been meaning to try their burgers since they first opened. Finally, last week I happened to be close by while working and stopped in to get the Swiss Burger. It was absolutely delicious. The service also was quick and very friendly. Definitely will be back to try our more menu items

My husband and I LOVE Chamos Grill. For me, having gluten-free, delicious choices is so exciting, and my husband loves the portion sizes. Be warned, it is SO much delicious, amazing food. Tonight, Aria helped us. She was so lovely, passionate and knowledgeable. She is a gem!

The staff was very friendly and chatty. The classic burger was delicious, with juicy meat and fresh bun. The Orleans cheesesteak was tasty. And of course we had poutine... generous portions, good gravy and St-Albert cheese curds. And FYI, the fries have the peel on.

First time getting a poutine there and it was awesome. Edit: have gotten two poutines since and they’ve both been overcooked fries with a little gravy and some cheese on top, but when paying almost 8 bucks (because I tip) for a poutine your going to eat it anyways.

Loved the waiter. The food was very fresh. I had the cheese empanada, yummy. Would go back again to try something else on the menu.

Excellent food, so filling and tasty! So nice to have something different than the regular menus offered in most places. Sarah was an excellent waitress, friendly and so patient telling us about all the different dishes, thank you! We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic little joint, tuck away in Orleans. Amazing Latin American food.

Was lucky enough to try the new jerk chicken poutine this evening and all I can say is it was absolutely amazing tons of chicken and the flavours are spot on these guy's never disapoint amazing food done right everytime. I would highly recommend

We were first time customers and ordered two burgers, fries and wings and everything was excellent. Wings were crispy and hummy, burgers and fries were tasty but not greasy. We will definitely order from them again. Staff was really friendly.

Don't think we'll be back. Waste of time. We called to place an order for pick-up around 4:10. We ordered a burger and chicken sandwich meal. The guy on the phone said it would be ready in about 15 minutes. We get there around 4:30. Hubby

Went this evening to try out the burgers! We loved them. Service was with a smile, friendly, and profesional. Took a bit to get our food but it was worth it. Super satisfied I had the deluxe yummy yummy messy messy but yummmmyyyyyyyy ;)

Dynamite burgers and fries, friendly service as well. Only suggestion would be to update your hours on your website. I can't say enough about the amazing burgers though! And my boys love the crispy fries they have in their poutine!

The burgers are SO GOOD! They use quality ingredients and you can taste it - the beef is juicy and cooked to perfection. The bacon is super thick and meaty and the cheese is real marble cheddar, not fake cheese. Love this spot!

Had a wonderful Canada day dinner at Chamos Grill. Delicious food...I recommend what they are known for...Arepas! Desserts were great as well! Will be back! Thank you.

Food was amazing, I tried the kickin chicken, my girlfriend had the meatheads deluxe burger. Both were unbelievable. Gonna have to keep eating here so I can figure out what my favorites are, so far everything is my favorite.

Going on my fourth trip within a month! Owner is super friendly and welcoming. Food is great! My kids love their "real" burgers and I can't get enough of their Philly Steak. Even their fries are great! Definitely recommend.

Tried the arepas and it was delicious. Casual restaurant with friendly staff. Overall very good experience and will definitely come back. Thanks!

Juicy burgers, quality ingredients, and chefs that know how to cook a darn good burger. Not to mention the house sauce tops it off perfectly. Staff is great, highly recommend for anyone looking to get their burger fix.

These people deserve lots of business.The woman working was super sweet. She gave me a deal on the food and made it unique to my order. The portions were huge. Defintely check it out if youre into the food they offer.

Have been here before and it was good. This time, went for a lunch bacon cheeseburger. Fries were great, bun was OK, condiments OK but the burger meat was very dry and tasteless and really made the burger not so good.

Delicious! Every meal I've had here has been amazing and I will definitely be coming back! The new chef is very nice and their new menu is to die for. I highly recommend the philly cheesesteak or pulled pork sammich!

Super friendly staff, great service, and great food. Excellent fries, cooked in a separate fryer. I've heard great things about their black bean portobello burger, so that's next on my list. Highly recommended!

Delicious! This burger is soooooo good! And sooo filling. I made the mistake of ordering a combo- the 6or burger is so big and there are sooo many fries. Everything is scrumptious ! Crew is very friendly too!

My wife and I went there a couple of weeks ago for the first time and our experience was wonderful. Great place to eat Latin food and spend some time in family. I recommend it 100%, for sure we’ll come back.

Burgers we really good had thick sliced bacon. Fries were real, cooked well. Had a bit of a snafu with the online ordering but the staff was courteous and helpful. I'll most likely phone in my next order.

Poutine lacked cheese and sauce. Making it really dry. Unfortunate since flavour is pretty good. Since they opened the downtown location I feel the quality has gone down at the Orleans location.

One of the best Nashville chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had! Portion sizes are great! Lots of food for the price! Highly recommend this place. Great food and great service. 10/10 would come back

Delicious food. Burgers are fantastic, great fries and poutine. This is not a sit down. Only a counter within the conveniance store. It is very clean despite being at the back of the store.

Awesome food. Great little deck patio. Never though I would find such a cozy place next to a Quicky. Worth a stop if passing by. Ordered a bacon cheese burger and poutine.

I called in my order. It was ready in 10min. I had the Meatheads Deluxe burger with poutine combo. It was fantastic. Definitely going back and trying other menu items.
