We dropped by this place shortly after we adopted our kitten and were amazed with the selection of high quality food they offered. We didn't expect to find this in our little area! Fast forward to last week and we adopted a puppy, the owner didn't carry the puppy formula of the food our breeder recommended so the owner offered to order it in for us. We are extremely happy that we live almost across the road from this little place. The owner is fantastic, always smiling and happy to assist when we need it. The world needs more places like this!

I love this store and primarily use the home delivery option as I can't get there. I've shopped on/off for several years (the off time was when I lost my beloved dog and wasn't ready for a new pet). I now have a 10 week old pup and am back on the delivery program. Ken is the nicest, kindest person, and is always able to source the items I want or order them for me. This is my go-to for pet supplies, and with covid we all need to support our small businesses so they can make it through. Please spread the word!

I’ve been coming here for around 2 years and have always had a great experience. Because of my busy schedule I have been ordering my dog’s food and getting it delivered to my house, which we always receive on the same day that the order has been placed. The owner is the sweetest and has provided the best communication when it comes to delivery time. I am so glad and happy I found Champlain Pets!

Followed owner from his previous location to Kingsway & Joyce area. His small store and website carries many different varieties of pet food, I had never even heard of. Both my cats have major protein allergies. Poultry,fish,beef...you name it. Fortunately he carries a brand with novel proteins that works for them. The newer location is farther to go but it will remain my go to pet store.

Great little place to shop cats and dog food, price are fair compare to other, convenience for pet owner if you live in lower mainland. They sell some good quality food like Ziwi, K9 Natural wet food cans for cats which is hard to find in local shop. They also sell raw meat as well at the back of the shop. Best for the people who drive probably not for people who take transit.

We love this place! Huge range of pet food available. Our local Tisol only special orders the food we feed our cats, so it's nice to be able to put in an order on a website and have it delivered right to our door inside of 7 days. Both cat and dog food, treats, as well as other pet needs! Ken is a joy, and I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Love this place so much. Free delivery in town, amazing selection (but the website isn't always up to date on what's actually in stock, so call ahead), and really really reasonable prices - probably the best ones I've found for gourmet dog food. Great selection of products. We like to purchase our cat's wet food here. I was impressed by the selection, initially I liked that they had Weruva brand but we ultimately switched to another brand our cat likes more that I have yet to see elsewhere. I like that we are able to support a local business as well so we keep coming back.

Ordered online from Victoria, BC and was pleasantly surprised at the amazing customer service (super quick email response time and was emailed updates as to when the order was received/processed and then again shipped without even asking). Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Will purchase online again!

Great store for purchasing food, treats & litter for my cat. If there is a food that is not available, the owner can order it in for you. He also offers a discount if you buy over 12 cans of the same brand. He also is always pleasant & helps me load up my shopping trolley and then holds the door for me.

This place stocks some of the best food available for your pets. They have a good variety and the owner is pretty knowledgeable with what is made where. He can also suggest items best suited for your budget. There is also a small section for collars, toys, and other pet accessories (like toothbrushes).

Used to travel 2hrs just to come here for a particular brand of food... but within 3 months has gone up 20 cents a can. Owner is super nice and will miss going, but can't justify travel when there are way cheaper options closer all over Vancouver. Thanks and good luck!

I've been going there to get my dog food and treats. Competitive price and they offer free delivery in Van and Richmond. You can order online with lots of choices. Owner there is nice and responsive. Great to support small local business in these tough times.

Just stopped by with my dog, very friendly man greeted us, said hello to our dog and gave her a treat. Great selection for the size of the store. Will definitely be going back whenever we need something as its a short walk from home.

This Pet shop carries food that is actually good for your dog! no fillers or cheap products and the. Some brands that are hard to find are available here! and I appreciate how they r open late so I can go after work!
