Incredibly interesting! Such kind and helpful volunteers who were more than happy to tell me all about what I was looking at. The museum is full of history and I can’t recommend the place enough to anyone with even the slightest bit of historical interest in early Australia/colonial settlers

We were looking for something to do on a rainy day and in our search, came across Channel Museum. It's a beautifully curated museum run by friendly local volunteers and surprisingly bigger than we expected. It was definitely worth a visit

The staff are lovely and the exhibits are informative, remarkably detailed, and relevant to the channel. I have, however, noticed a strong lack of indigenous history considering the extensive history of the Muwinina people that could be included.

Channel Museum is where you step into heritage, cultural and history. Ancient items, production tools, housewares, etc were donated from people from previous generations. You can come to discover how life was for early settlers and pioneers….

This is absolutely awesome. It was a bit surprise for me. A lot of things to see including different cameras! Not a tourist spot but very worthy to go.

Needs some younger people there. Filled with elderly people and the guys who have the cafe now are nowhere near as nice as the previous owners!

  • Vicki Bell

Lots to see. Also has an extensive camera display. Be sure to have a piece of their home made cheesecake. Definitely home made! And delicious.

Fantastic museum. The layout/set up is well thought out. There is so much to look at and the price of entry is very affordable.
