Incredibly interesting! Such kind and helpful volunteers who were more than happy to tell me all about what I was looking at. The museum is full of history and I can’t recommend the place enough to anyone with even the slightest bit of historical interest in early Australia/colonial settlers

The staff are lovely and the exhibits are informative, remarkably detailed, and relevant to the channel. I have, however, noticed a strong lack of indigenous history considering the extensive history of the Muwinina people that could be included.
Channel Museum is where you step into heritage, cultural and history. Ancient items, production tools, housewares, etc were donated from people from previous generations. You can come to discover how life was for early settlers and pioneers….
Excellent local museum with a surprisingly extensive private camera collection. Andrew was really friendly, informative and helpful. Glad we decided to stop by, a pleasant surprise!
Great museum about the history of Tasmania. I would recommend for adults and children alike.

The museum is nice and informative. The staffs are friendly. We also had lunch from there. The staff there was very friendly too. I would recommend it to everyone!!
This is absolutely awesome. It was a bit surprise for me. A lot of things to see including different cameras! Not a tourist spot but very worthy to go.
Needs some younger people there. Filled with elderly people and the guys who have the cafe now are nowhere near as nice as the previous owners!
Lots to see. Also has an extensive camera display. Be sure to have a piece of their home made cheesecake. Definitely home made! And delicious.
Fantastic museum. The layout/set up is well thought out. There is so much to look at and the price of entry is very affordable.
Extensive collection covering local history from many angles. As good as most professional museums. Spend nearly 2 hours there.
Lovely museum. Great to see people preserving the rich history of the Channel. Wish I could have spent more time here.
Good heritage, great collections of old artifacts, historical items and illustrates the history of 1800s to 1900s
Bloody awesome, 2nd time I've been and will go back too. You'll need a couple of hours if you want a good look.
