Often in this area whenever I visit the city, its right next to famous landmarks and the bustling West End Usually pass through this station or Piccadilly/Covent Garden to get back to Paddington safely to leave London I came through yesterday evening and had a pleasant conversation with Gary G the man who was working at the ticket barriers at around 6:25pm by the entrance for Bakerloo line He came over and we chatted in general about London he gave me good advice about standing my ground when passing through stations and on the escalators etc we laughed about how people rush for the next tube when there is one every 2-3 mins even the underground staff cant understand the panic about it! I told him how daunting it can be as a tourist caught in the commuter rush hour and he gave me handy tips, I found him to be a helpful, friendly man, was a pleasure to chat with him

An interesting station with more to it than what you really see. Platforms and escolators many never knew existed. I went on a hidden london tour and got to see the dissused platforms and tunnel areas and Also go inside some of the ventilation tunnels and watch trains arrive and depart below us through the vent grills above the tracks where the platforms are tour was really good and really worth going on the tour I had a great time and the tour guides was great and was really knowledgeable and told us what the disused areas was currently used for and some of the film's that featured those areas of the station. #londontransportmuseum #hiddenlondon

Zone 1 tube station connecting to the Barkerloo, Jubilee, and Northern Lines. Like many London underground stations, it's well-signed and clean. Art decorate the walls of each in-use platform, which is a nice touch, but not unique. And yes, a few dis-used platforms that are out of reach are commonly used by filmmakers, including Bourne Ultimatum, Skyfall, Thor, Killing Eve, etc., but these will be out of reach to most visitors unless they book a special tour with London Transport. Unless you're a) a London resident with time to kill or b) a hardcore James Bond fan, the station is not worth a special visit

O metrô de Londres (London Underground) também chamado de Tube é o mais antigo do mundo e um dos 5 maiores em extensão. É quase impossível conhecer Londres sem passar pelo metrô. Sem dúvidas o meu meio de transporte preferido na capital inglesa. As estações são limpas, seguras e as placas indicativas e mapas estão por toda parte. Dica: Compre um cartão Oyster Card que serve não só para o metrô mas para todos os outros meios de transporte público.

Charring Cross Station is at the heart of the Bakerloo line and a quick walk up from the Embankment. It allows you to travel North/South as opposed to many of the lines which go East to West and is one of the few lines that crosses the River Thames. If heading to Trafalgar Square, this is likely your best bet by tube unless you want to take a bus.

Not the best station compared to other underground stations, it's very small with dirts on the walls. It's also very busy with staff on-site, so you if you need some help someone can. It runs 24 hours of the day as well. I did not have any issues when I commute through here. I hope this helps, enjoy your trip.

This station is disgusting, dilapidated and full of druggies. Let's say that if I were a woman, I would most certainly avoid this station as it doesn't feel safe. The station smells of piss, the station seems understaffed and the other day I saw a creepy old clown performing on the tube.

Schöne U-Bahn Station. Ist mit Rolltreppen zu erreichen und gut ausgebaut. Auch sehr sauber was nicht immer der Fall ist! Für Touristen ist die Charing Cross Station sehr nützlich da man von dort aus zu sehr vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten kommt.

This underground station can be busy with lots of tourists there is no disabled access only stairs. Bakerloo and Northern lines stop here along with national rail. The underground station could do with a major upgrade.

Famous underground station with a hidden area/secret past available via special tours (via London Transport). Loved visiting and seeing the older areas of the station, as well as the ventilation tunnels.

The best thing is the tour of the closed platforms. They've filmed countless TV and movies here, including James Bond Skyfall, and, most impressively for me, Prodigy shot their Firestarter video here too

Bakerloo and Northern lines both pass through this station. Access to the main rail Charring Cross from the tube. Old station and the passages linking you between the platforms can feel a little mazey.

Access to Bakerloo and Northern lines of the underground tube lines. A big station that has some parts that are clean and well maintained. Some parts where it could be better.
