It is the Shittiest transportation service ever created... I can't understand how they stay in business, or let alone in service. The buses are never on time, the majority of them are nasty on the inside with warned down old seats with gum on it, garbage left all over. (Especially at nights) Its very obviously that the seats are years & years old. The bus drivers are never held accountable for their constant latenesses, & the train services don't correlate with late buses or late train times in a timely manner. So it's very inconvenient to take the bus or light rail at night. If you're from a city where you have excellent transportation services you will be in complete shocked & disappointed for this terrible transportation services, this farce of a bus or train system in Charlotte NC that it's supposedly supposed to be the life line of the city. It's so very obvious that they have terrible communication between the drivers, dispatchers, train conductors & the paying customers that are fed up with your terrible ass service. It's all screwed up from the top of the companies to the bottom of it. So if the train is late, the buses will never wait for the late train & vice versa. People who paid their hard earned money had to sit there and wait for the next bus for the next 30 minutes to the next hour, so basically you have to end up getting there an hour maybe two hours earlier than the time you actually need to take it. Especially at night where they don't care about people who works hard & is tired coming off from work. Where's the convenience in using this service? It's a completely unfathomably, ridiculously broken system. I mean you're in the service of business for transportation services. That should be your number one concern when it comes to the customers who pays their hard earned money for a terrible service/ product of a so called transportation company, but of course CATS Bus service and LYNX light rail services screw that up royally on a daily basis, & (Especially at nights) because the system is so inconsistent, lopsided, & poorly managed. Unfortunately for Charlotteteens don't have any other choice but to use this terrible service, since there's no another alternative service to choose from other than CATS or LYNX service. But my suggestion for all who is unhappy with the service is to save all your pennies that you're throwing at this terrible bus and train service and get a car. Anyone who uses this terrible service would better off relying on a car that's halfway working, or even halfway broken than relying on this half assed broken down ineffective transportation system, that's pretending to be an effective, communicative transportation service model. & To all who is moving to Charlotte make sure you have a car when you move here, this service is totally unreliable.
The bus is well-run but slow. Each trip is $2.20 with a 2-hour transfer window. Express buses are $4.40. You can get weekly or ten ride passes at Food Lion and other grocery stores. There is also a park and ride pass which you must purchase at the main downtown bus station. Drivers are much more helpful than in my native Chicago. That being said, the schedules generally do not get placed in the rack on the bus. Check online, at a library, or in a schedule rack at a major downtown building if you want a paper schedule to hold. There does not seem to be any sort of bus tracking by GPS for patrons to see when the bus is coming. Be careful if you expect to walk anyplace from a bus stop, sidewalks are considered optional in much of the outer reaches of Mecklenburg County. There is a pretty good park and ride system, although expensive. Amtrak and Greyhound are both on city bus lines. They are definitely not near the central bus station. Maps of the whole system are hard to find, except online. Avoid bus route 11 North Tryon until the light rail system is complete, that bus is constantly full.
Took Sprinter-Route 5 from Charlotte Douglas International, to uptown, for $2.20. Bus is scheduled every 20 minutes on weekdays, which to say, it comes whenever it comes. On my trip, a woman-child ignites an argument with the driver over 20 cents, and the driver handles it professionally; her diatribe toward nobody, toward all, goes on as background noise for the duration of the ride. At an unimportant point in time, I realize I am only person on the bus dressed in business attire; I am humbled, I am a target of curiosity, and it patently strikes me, 'I am not from around here.' At the final stop, it becomes clear that I had been sitting in a warm liquid. I accept this as a form of karmic punishment reserved for the uninformed naive. The Charlotte Transportation Center has groups of loitering adult males conducting... business? I instinctively enable my white collar radar, and orient myself uptown. CATS ambles along, and serves it's purpose as best as it can do. If this is the adventure you seek, then welcome to Charlotte, ye unwise and wide-eyed traveler!!
I was assaulted by the Bus Driver while existing the bus last week(Saturday, December He literally "slammed his arm into my chest" I went to the Customer Service Representative to report this incident. (Security Officer) notified and took reports in both situations. This is the second time within two weeks this has happened. No one is safe, especially while trying to get to your appointments or basic errands. I do not recommend using this public service. Passengers are "harrassed, bullied", and/or "assaulted" by the drivers. It is a very, very, very dangerous environment. I will be filing crimminal charges against these person's. No one, is to assume the right to put their hand(s) or any other part of themselves on another person. Period. Afraid to ride. I have called Customer Service Representative and reported the initial incident. I will follow up with the Mecklenburg County Police Department in both of these occurrences.
I haven't ridden public transportation in many other cities, but I think we do a pretty decent job here in Charlotte. I will say though that going to the CTC for the first time is going to be an experience for you though. This is really one of those endeavors that requires you to embrace the culture rather than stand there and be afraid of getting robbed or having to talk to someone. Just two weeks ago, while waiting for bus, a guy in a wheel chair was telling me how he won an 20 mile electric wheel chair race in Hawaii and his can go up to 35 miles per hour. He won by like a mile or something crazy. We laughed, had a good time, and road the bus together. Seriously, the place seems a bit sketchy, but if you go in here with the expectation that these are human being just like you it will be a really good experience. PS get bus passes on the phone app. It is way easier than dealing with a pass. Way to go CATS, much love.
Transportation hub in Charlotte where Buses, Trains and Street cars operate. Station needs good improvement in cleanliness and security. Street cars operate from the front of the station and blue line trains operate from upper deck of the station. Lift facility to upper deck is provided. Buses, trains, and street cars are all very clean and well maintained and they operate on time, which needs special appreciation. Travel passes are available online and they will send them via post (postage charges extra) or we have the option to collect from customer service (no additional charge) located in station. We opted for daily pass and that helped in multiple journeys for a day. There are multiple eateries available in this station. Other than cleanliness and lack of security this is an excellent hub. Beware of touts especially at nighttime. Spectrum stadium is located opposite to this station.
I took bus number 506 an Express Bus this bus needs to be taken out of service for good a Supervisor ccalledand said the bus air conditioning was fixed but when you have 40 plus paasengers on a bus that was not blowing air but heat and the operators didn't know how to turn on the air, and didn't know a permanent bus route all I can give CATS is a 1. The real tragedy is I have rode on other express buses CK Rider CCX Express has WI do you will always have heat or air the ridership has less people in contrast to Charlotte which makes me wonder what are they really doing with the transit bonds the community votes on. Riders are going to create a petition to demand better service for that route in the winter you have no heat in the summer no air this is ludicrous. CATS this is a lawsuit waiting to happen when someone has a stroke or gets violently ill it will be too late
1/2023 I've been to this place many many times and one thing's for certain and two things for sure, you won't be disappointed! Let's start with the buses and trains. They run on time 95-96% of the time whenever I'm taking it. The drivers are very professional, I never had any negative experience to date and I've been here for 4 years now. 2. This place is a hub for the homeless and undesirables activities and other emojis I don't have time to list, you get the point, despite having a Allied Security presence ... Sorry Which is a great Segway to Security! They are some of the most unprofessionally dressed groups of individuals you ever wanna see. Guys sagging in uniform, ladies looking like walking mannequins! Where is canceled culture when you need them other than that you should have a safe and enjoyable ride.
I've never seen such a disorganized business, and I worked as a temp at the post office before! Even after Ethan Rivera's death, drivers are still rude, making under-breath-comments when you walk past. Some of the passengers are just as bad. It's no wonder why they've been having conflicts when everybody acts like bad children. That seems to be a common issue with the locals. As others have pointed out, buses have a tendency to be late, or not show up, or leave the station when they're supposed to. I've been late to work so many times because of this. I don't even like my job, but I'm lucky I haven't lost it, yet. The inside of the station always smells funny, and strays are always hanging out at the station smoking every... single... day. And yet, they have a driver shortage. This city doesn't feel like it has it's act together.
The worst transit system ever. Buses are usually late, & that often leads to missing a transfer (particularly bad when it's the last bus transfer if the night you can catch for where you're going). I've had multiple bus drivers drive by a stop without stopping even after making it clear I want to catch a ride. Customer service is just as bad & their phone line isn't open during all transit operation hours (can't even leave a message, which is also a problem when you're catching the late night bus, it's 20 minutes late, & your transfer has already left the transit center). Combine that with an administrative council that would rather spend 33 mil on making the outsides of the buses, trollies, & trains look nice instead of fixing the stuff that keeps breaking & improving the routes & you have a horrible, inept system.
I catch the 7N, at Reams and Secretariat Streets, at 6:29 am going to Uptown. This morning I am standing at the bus stop and notice, 20 minutes in, that the bus wasn’t coming. I contacted CATS customer service and Robin informed me that there weren’t any drivers for the route. She advised that I wait for the 6:51 am. I filed a complaint and waited. At 7:00 am I called back and got Robin again. She stated that there wasn’t any drivers for that bus either. This is the same representative who told to me to wait for this particular bus. They haven’t made any updates on their website explaining the bus changes and no one has gotten back to me. I was forced to call off from work due to this. Their customer service is horrible! Here’s their website in case you think I’m misinformed. I also called the news outlets.
Dirty, bathrooms often without toilet paper or proper hand washing /drying tools. I'm disabled but usually have to wait for Disabled stalls because non disabled are using them. No supervision or monitoring. Kids allowed to use transit as an all day hang out, often getting loud & agressive. Buses filthy, especially seats which look as if they've been pooped in. I use a walker and am a Senior yet bus drivers don't want to lower the ramp when I ask for it and say they can't ask a youth to give up one of the front seats to me when they have no problem telling everyone (including me to move if a wheelchair boards. I have to use them but I don't like it and have been injured multiple times due to their treatment.
I am a driver and i drive my car to and from work. On today i was given the opportunity to get off work early however my fiance had the car and was still at work. I told him not to worry i was going to try the city transportation and use googlw maps to figure it out. You know a small adventure foe me. WRONG!!! THE BUS DRIVERS ARE RUDE dont like being asked questions realized i got on yhe outbound bus instead of inbound and the transfer expires at 321pm and the other bus i need yo catch come at 340. Cusyomrr care had no response and said yo buy another bus pass.... i will never suggest public transportation to anyone this was by far a horrible experience and i am grwtly disappointed!!!!!
Charlotte Area Transit Station, as it stands, does its job remarkably well - moving many buses and people efficiently within a compact space. The employees who work at the help desk are knowledgeable and friendly. The transit center is in the heart of uptown Charlotte, litteraly across the street from the Spectrum Center. It is walking distance to many hotels, restaurants, and watering holes. Standard one-way fares are $2.20, but your ride can be extended if you ask the driver for a transfer as you pay. Cash - exact fare only. If you pay more, do not expect change. The transit center is mostly sheltered, with several fast food restaurants and a withdrawals-only Bank of America ATM.
Decent, relatively clean transit center where people who live, work in and visit Charlotte make their main bus & light rail connections. There is a convenience store and a few restaurants which includes a Burger King on the lower level. Connections to the LYNX Blue Line light rail are available on the upper level. As bicycles are not allowed on the elevators, consider boarding the LYNX Blue Line elsewhere w/it. The place does has it's fair share of hooliganism & riff raff at times, especially at night but there is plenty of police & security presence which cuts down on it somewhat
People need to understand Cats is a business. They don't care about any of us. They're going to charge whatever they feel and all most will do is whine, groan, and complain. The bus drivers are okay as people, but they're not unprofessional overall. I rate them so low because they have no late schedule being most of Charlotte of active late with clubs, games, etc. And 9 out of 10 times, the schedule that's posted is trash! You're going to be late. Everyday it's like they change routes. My advice, only use Cats if absolutly neccessary
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! I AM DISAPPOINTED FOR WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE EVERY BUS IS SUPPOSE TO LEAVE CHARLOTTE TRANSPORTATION STATION. SPECIFICALLY THE 7 TO NORTHLAKE ON SATURDAY NIGHTS. 3 BUSES NEVER CAME BEEN WAITING AT THE MALL SINCE 7:30PM IT IS NOW 9:30PM. I AM TRYING TO GET TO CHARLOTTE TRANSPORTATION CENTER. I AM AT THE MALL THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE HERE TIRED & WAITING TOO. THIS HAPPENS TOO OFTEN ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. YALL NEED TO DO BETTER! There is also no one to contact at this hour for help. Ridiculous
The buses get you where you need to go for the most part, which is good. However, at times they won't have enough drivers so they won't run a route at a particular time...that would be okay if there was a way for them to notify ones who normally ride that route (i.e. through an app or some other alert you could sign up for). Sunday schedule could be better too since not everyone has weekends off and have to go to work/other places. Lightrail service is pretty good and reliable.
I can't say too many bad things because I've never run a large transportation hub with multiple busses and routes. The busses are much more consistant in the morning but it is super irritating when you're late because the bus has to drive all the way around the epicenter because the driver is switching routes. The drivers are not too friendly but occasionally you'll find a nice one. Wear head phones and don't give anyone any money or you'll be bothered by panhandlers for life.
I am totally amazed at the senior citizen monthly rate is $44 a huge chunk from a social security check if you pay each ride total is over $60 a month lived in many cities larger cities like Charlotte are usually free to seniors and the most I have seen is$26 a month Charlotte is not a very senior friendly city also cannot believe with the rates charged buses tend to run as much as 45 minutes to an hour apart very disappointed since I as a senior citizen moved here
I've been waiting for hours for my bus 22 and I've been tracking it on the app and it still hasn't came. And I'm still waiting it's so disappointing we definitely need another transit system not owned by cats!!! They arent reliable they're always delayed you will never get to work on time or get home at a reasonable time because they clearly don't care about the people they have more security than bus drivers. The place is just run down
With the new Lynx line having opened up on March 19th, many bus lines have closed down or been rerouted. The downtown transit center is an excellent place to find out any and all information concerning the bus and/or the Lynx line. The kiosk is centrally located at the top of the transit center, directly across from the Hornets stadium. If you took the time to read this post, please take a 1/2 second and click like. Thank you.
The Charlotte CATS has several buses to all over town as well as our surrounding communities. I wished someone was always available in Customer Service during the the times buses are on the road. It's frustrating to be waiting at 2230 or later and no one is avail to give you an update on your buses status. Especially when there has been a detour or accident. I'm available to assist in any way I can. Thanks
If you are not used to city life. ...a bus station can be uncomfortable. There are many homeless and displaced people in the area. A gathering place for talking and smoking. Most times they keep to themselves. Some times they ask for busfare or cigarettes. There is security, but not a strong presence. The ticket booth agents are helpful. CTC is a necessary service and good to have. Be safe. peace.
Charlotte transit is a mess now, buses where took out of neighborhoods, now passengers have to walk atleast 4 to 5 blocks to catch a bus crosssing dangerous roads just to force people to ride the light rail. Well everyone doesnt want to ride the light rail. Its the people in charge who dont have to ride public transportation making decisions for the people who REALLY need it.
Worst bus system in the US most driver's have an attitude problem the buses are late at night or never come it should not take you two and a half hours to get home in this town. That is why the ridership is so low. Charlotte wants to be a big city it needs a 24 hr. Bus system not stay as a small little town you can't have both it will not work. Just my opinion.
The transit center in Charlotte is very thought out and the information needed for route and different types of transportation are readily available. Cleanliness is always an issue with me and the issue here is trash pickup or lack of trash pickup. That could use help. Customer service was good except they really need more of it available on the weekend.
It is growing more as the city grows. Need more detail to bus routes on listing times. On the app there needs to be wayyy more work done to find specific routes more easily like online as well as having the map. The online listings need to separate the 19W from the 19S as well as all the other alternate bus letters. This is terrible.
I can't believe the poor service that I've witnessed from drivers walking off leaving passengers on the bus for 45 minutes without explanations and even though I'm disabled I have had to stand while younger people take up the reserve seats for the elderly and handicapped and after all my complaints I've called in not one reply
Buses and Trains are not on the same time schedules, sometimes you have to wait twenty to thirty minutes if you miss your connection and that's not good if it's cold, it's even worse no shelters to hide from the elements, and connecting from one bus to another one has to walk anywhere from an eighth of a mile to half a mile.
Security be on their phones like the customers and they don't pay attention to the people that be smoking in the non smoking area. Some of the drivers are just nasty for no reason and don't speak, while some drivers not all, don't care if you're trying to get to your job on time because they are on their job already.
They could do a better job at keeping the place clean. I travel on the #9 the bus changes bus # and the ride obnoxious drivers don't even bother to pick up the phone to notify it. The drivers have no communication skills they are rude when you ask them questions and like to pull off and make stops abruptly.
Charlotte Area Transportation Center is nice place to catch the bus and the train even though they sometimes they be late for whatever reason. And some of the bus drivers are nice and some are not so nice. But overall it could be better if there wasn't a lot of people hanging out (but they don't bother me).
The transportation center did not help us much at all. We ended up getting on the wrong bus because we followed the information centers directions . We ended up lost in Charlotte NC ... & Had to walk in the blazing hot sun .....so if you can avoid going here people... Trust me... I definitely would!
The bus schedules aren't posted at many stops and the busses are late most of the time. The 56 arrowood bus hasn't shown up for the 4:03 pm time slot at the arrowood stop for a few days now. Calls to the center are met with indifference. I get apologized to, but nothing is ever done to fix it.
Bus schedules are basically none existent here. The buses are never on time. You can say something to the management but there won't be a change anytime soon. Only positive is you get to where you want to go but not on time. P.s. most of the bus drivers have positive attitudes.
I don't understand the point of a light rail when you have to take an Uber to get to it (90% of Charlotte). If your going to build a light rail system then include the whole town in the plan. Don't just plan it for 10% of the area and not give the poorer areas nothing new.
Nice place sum driver has attitude n often dont speak. All bathrooms needs to be clean on regular and security need to often check them cause alot goes on in there. Drivers need to b on time. I give it 3 stars because of the concerns above. But i will recommend to others
Visiting Charlotte North Carolina from South Florida for 2016 Rodeo..I was very impressed by the customer service and the cleaness of there coaches..We would love for you all to visit South Florida you all are welcome to come to Broward County Transit..Job well done
If you really needed like i used to do on my first 2 years in charlotte. Your going to love it and respect it. Drivers deserve a big prize in all the situations they have to go through every single day. Att a greatfull puerto rican us citizen. "Born to serve"
Buses are always late so if you have anywhere important to go I suggest you leave an hour earlier than your normal time. They’re short of help so be prepared. It is disgusting around the center, it needs deep cleaning and the restroom needs
I would give zero stars. On 4/27/23 route 1 the 630pm bus never showed up at the transit. We waited and waited then 7pm camer we told her what happen she starts yelling at the ppl on the bus. I have already contacted cats customer service
This place is unsafe. There used to be rules about not smoking inside the covered areas, that has gone. If you use public transportation regularly like I do, invest in some head phones and mind your business and you should be okay.
Cats is a great transport around the city. When I first started riding in 2009 I experienced a lot of racism towards people that are white from riders and some drivers. It seems to be getting better. Thank you cats investigators.
The bus is supposed to stop a mile from my job at 4:05. Instead of making stops the driver goes by my work at 10 til four so they can stop at the stop 2 blocks down so they can sit and take a break for 10 minutes. I hate y'all
City bus terminal. What's to say? Plenty of security. Clean. Fast food ( Bojangles, Subway, Burger King) plus a place where you can pay any bill except rent. Right across from the Hospital stadium. Access to the train.
It is a very helpful option for least expensive commuting. There are more than several mall options under the arena. I have ordered a meal from Asian cuisine and Southern Urban cuisine more than once, liked it.
They full of bullshit!! Everyone can't afford a car and this our mean of getting to and from work!$$ Do u think they care??? No they dont but i spend my hard earn money on their monthly every month!!! HATE IT!!
I have been riding public transportation since I was 13 and I am 37 now, the light rail has been a bit of an improvement to get around a little faster but other than that transportation has not improved much.
I take the bus a lot and the bus drivers are nearly always suuuper friendly, and 90% percent of the time I don't have to wait more than 10-20 minutes for my bus to arrive at the stop. Also, very clean buses.
What good is a schedule? I've ridden the bus for the past two days any not one has arrived on scheduled! It had taken 2 hours to get to the airport! One guy got off the bus and said he would call an Uber!
Let clean, organised and punctual. High bus frequency and great connectivity. Check CATS online or app. Easy access to information is missing. If you are not frequent commuter, go with 10 ride pass.
I RARELY RIDE BUT WHEN I DECIDED TO THIS IS NEVER ON TIME♀️ Like such an inconvenience Like the schedule says 7:19 it’s now 7:35am still no Charlotte transportation ♀️ THE WORST
Never again I was told it was free then got charged 220 by bus 4. but didn't have changed whlebt to go get it and the bus driver pull off with my 25cent and she was rude. I've learned my lesson.
Instead of putting 2 problem individuals off the buss the driver chose to sit in one spot and wait for all passengers to get off now I missed an important appointment terribble service!!!
I been trying to contact a supervisor about one of you driver's for the longest and nobody will even come to the door y'all really need to improve communication I need to report a driver
Do a great job...only wish there was more bus only lanes uptown...with all the on streets parking....bus is 80%of the time late due to trying to get around and through uptown.
It's Charlotte public transit. Cleanliness and safety are sketchy at best. Bus drivers usually courteous though same can't be said for passengers all the time... …
Get me where I need to be &I'm not from Charlotte but to ride there bus makes me feel at home & the drivers have never been DISRESPECTFUL to anyone around me Thanks CATS
People smoke, at the transit center, where the signs clearly say, "No smoking!" Oh!! And some of the drivers are so rude! and have no knowledge of the routes or stops.
The buses are disgusting! Dry matter on the seats yet prices are increasing. Most drivers encountered were helpful the others need extended customer service training.
Wouldn't go through there if I didn't have too. Always looks dirty. Too many youg people loitering ans being loud & intimidating, especially in front of burger king.
CATS is the local transportation medium for local transit commuting in Uptown Tha Queen.'s City, Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, NC Metropolitana Área (BUSES)....
My husband bag they took off bus he was riding and when he got to mobile Alabama it's not there and they didnt tell him they was taking off the bus he was on.
This place was transportanist for me and helpful for getting me to my destination. But you have to be aware of your safety the whole time you is at this place
I get around just fine. Needs more stop options for the in between and surrounding Charlotte areas. Also needs later bus Scheduling and to run more rapidly.
The Worse transportation system in this country. The bus drivers are Rude to the point were some pick fights with passengers. Great customer service. Not.
Cats have some very disrespectful bus drivers I dropped my phone on the #15 bus this morning, someone turned the phone in at the transportation center.
I ride the bus dangle transit system is a place to go get were you need to go it's a ok because I used it all the time, it is my only transportation
Need more Mental health associates uptown! Lots of Whack jobs up there!please notify Cats or Atrium Health care systems,or Health Department! …
If there were negative stars Charlotte Area Transitthry would get -100. I would expound but i would end up writing a book about a failed service!!!
Jocelyn roseboro is the best driver that works for this place hands down. Kind, understanding and helpful! Great customer care and service 10/10.
Have people standing around begging for money when I go to work I see the same people chilling. When I get off from work they still up there haha
Trash, violence, and open air drug deals have become the norm here. The cops don't do much to stop it, they don't care. Ride at your own risk.
Good for getting places cheaply and comfortably, sometimes the announcement and ticker at the front of the bus does not announce the next stop
It's always some crazy things going on out here and always things to do and see it's pretty cool if people walking up on you not scare you lol
Reading these praises, but charlotte transportation is the most unreliable buses that I've seen throughout the many cities I've ever been to.
Pick up the speed with these damn buses especially bus 19 you guys are always late it's too damn cold to be sitting out here waiting on y'all
ABSOLUTELY no place to pull over and drop someone off without a CATS mall cop threatening you with a ticket, "next time" , yeah....right....
Bad experience trying to get my belongings on lynx at south Blvd with a broken ankle the conductor took off with my $80 serta air mattress
Tried to get information on the phone that was absolutely useless. Found a helpful bus driver. The downtown transit center was filthy.
Busses are rarely on time, the rates have been raised at least four times in the past 3 years. The station needs a complete makeover.
There's a lady who drove the number 11 bus She has a blood afro and glasses She's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VERY COURTEOUS AND UNDERSTANDING
I'm from Miami Florida just recently moved to Charlotte NC and the drivers are very good people and very helpful I give them an A+
Not bad ,but need more supervision. The security do a good job most of the time and I thank them very much. It is improving alot.
I'm very happy with the Transit System here in Charlotte. It's the people/consumers in the transit that you have to look-out for.
Needs to be cleaner and safer for it's patrons... employees could be more helpful, knowledgeable and polite to patrons as well.
Reliable. Everyone friendly. Visitors get a day pass and let Maps guide you. Warning: X routes cost Xtra. (80 cents in my case)
Crowded, and you may run into a couple of very rude customers. If you smoke go outside the transit area, short and simple.
I don't like it cause to many crack heads and homeless people there but I have to do I can get home on time …
Charlotte Area Transit System, (CATS) is great! I've been riding since before it was CATS, and it's only gotten better!
The transit is the hang out for some locals but it is trashy. Service is wishy washy. Good some days and others... eh.
You have to throw away some buses. Some are so old n very nasty inside. U get a lot of money why do u buy the new ones
Ruby from Bus#1004 today was AWESOME!! She was the most helpful and friendly driverMade my day …
Bus Drivers are good people. If they see you heading towards the bus stop, close but not there. They wait for you.
Pretty busy center with adequate restrooms and restaurants. Bus info board outdated, and wild pigeons everywhere.
Always crowded and people hanging around. If you just mind your business and get on your bus, you should be okay.
Sucks having to rely on the bus to get places. Always leave very early if you have to make it somewhere on time.
Transit system in Charlotte is good whe. Compared to lift and uber. Just 2.20 but the station is not so clean.
IT'S THA EASY FAST NBCHEAPEST WAY TO GET AROUND MY CITY, WHEN U DON'T HAVE YOUR OWN CAR …
