Me and my partner came in last night and the security guard at the front is very sexist and rude he wanted for my partner to come go through check out her chest wanted for her to pay and was watching her pay go up the stairs and decided to allow me to go though my partner I asked him why couldn't I go through and he said he had to wait none was leaving and it was only her paying and my partner felt very uncomfortable snd very violated and we didn't know who to speak and the 2 females behind us had the same experience we went 2 weekends straight coz we heard great stuff first Saturday the guy at the door was amazing was very professional last night the guy wasn't such professional I would like to come back to cherry's but I don't want to have my partner feel uncomfortable and feel violated

A great little new nightclub with few things to make the night worth remembering. We were given free drink vouchers which we gave to the bartender upstairs who casually dropped the eftpos machine in front of us to try and charge us. We politely reminded her we literally just gave her free drink vouchers which she looked her most confused and denied ever taking. We kept our argument until she angrily snatched back the machine and walked away. Not a fan of liars. The dance floor is tiny and the tables to put drinks down are few downstairs but up top it’s really nice with a good balcony. The rest of the club is so bare bones it almost feels like they’ve just moved in and haven’t unpacked. Not much else to say Will we be going back? Probably but not for a long time.

I was walking on the opposite side of the street and got ushered to go to Cherry by their promoter ( & given drink tokens.) To then be awkwardly denied access because of the pair of new balances I had on. I am a backpacker and traveling light with very limited shoe options & my intention was never on going to clubs that night hence the casual fashion. However I think given they are having to beg people to come to their dead club they should perhaps loosen up on their strict dress code. After reading other reviews, I’m glad we didn’t waste the time or money here anyways. Much cooler places to drink in Adelaide.

The DJ was good on the Friday night. Which is the only one star that I can give to this bar. The bouncer is obviously excluding us (consist of 2 asian and 1 caucasian) from entering the premise. We arrived early and waiting to enter the premise. He somehow ignored us and letting all other people to enter the premise but us. Very disappointing to see this racism behavior. Not recommended to go to this bar with the fact that they allow a bouncer with this behavior.

Did not realise this place existed or what it was as on first pass it was closed. Came back later and it was clearly a nightclub. Too early for a cover charge so decided to give it a go. Good music. Section for dancing, a section for sitting and drinking, a disco section after 11pm.

Was given half price entry and free drink tokens whilst walking past. Lined up straight away to enter. After waiting we went straight to the bar to be told the tokens are no longer active. On top of this, we sat down in the unoccupied seating area to be removed and told we need to pay $400! For what!!! Awful layout with only 1 dance floor with awful arrangement. We shall not be returning… disappointing

Very picky with their dress code considering they aren’t exactly a high end bar… Hound you on the streets with drinks vouchers (which clearly have been used many times and handed back out) only to judge you on your clothes, tattoos, brands etc at the door. Can’t comment on the inside however only heard bad things, I’d recommend giving them a miss

I don’t generally give ratings but this night club forced me to give it. Stood in queue 1 hr and paid $20 entry fee for what 5*5 m2 dance floor? Worst night club I’ve ever seen. The Girl who was collecting entry fee was like I am the boss and really rude behaviour. Should be removed this night club from Hindley Street.

Incident 31.3.23. Unprofessional staff . Was ushered off rudely by white female staff with hand gesture like a street dog in front of men's toilet due to an emergency, but not offered use of either disabled or female toilet , so I left. Overall unfriendly staff. Not a place that respects men .

Love the vibes of this place, music’s good but could do with some newer music mixed in with the throwbacks. All the staff was so lovely, Eliza’s service in particular was PHENOMENAL and pours 10/10 drinks. Security were also lovely unlike some other places on hindley. Had an amazing time!

The bouncer who pushed a 55 year old mum to the ground when she was celebrating with workmates must feel like such a hero. I must not fit the demographic they’re after. I feel sorry for the women in his life!

Don’t go here… security don’t care about letting people who r trying to pay to get in. They heavily prioritise those who have already paid. Took 45 minutes for my mates to get in after I got left in. Counted 32 people leaving before they let someone enter.

First-time at cherry and it was not a pleasant experience it was a work party and i experienced racism from the security there. Will not reccomend for aanyone going there as they will experience racism. Very disappointed.

Had jewellery that cost more than the security would make that whole night and they had the audacity to say “are those trackiss” ye they are, but so what if I’m wearing jewellery that cost more than all the girls earrings in there combined. Dead club.

Club had a small dance floor, give a free base spirit on entry. Once we get to the bar, we’re told we can use the token due to the time. Then, once we sat down, told we can’t sit there without $400. Absolute joke for a new club.

The security guard of this club is so rude paid entry fee and still declined the entry .. The old security guard is so racist ,..

Very poor management from security entrance into the dance floor. Very tiny dance floor, not enough space for heavy crowd. Would not recommend. Don’t waste money/time.

It’s alright… dance floor is a bit small and only occupies a corner of the place. The upstairs area is nice though but gives a bar feel more than anything else.

Solid Club with a good amount of people late in the night. Only 1 room which is a bit disappointing but a good atmosphere with 2 levels.
