I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chessington Adventure Park during my holiday, and it was an experience filled with joy and excitement. The park offers a plethora of attractions that cater to all ages, making it a perfect destination for family outings. The variety of rides and attractions is truly impressive, ranging from thrilling roller coasters to enchanting animal exhibits. Each ride and exhibit is meticulously designed, immersing visitors in a world of adventure and fun. The staff members are friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. One of the highlights of my visit was the animal exhibits. The park houses a diverse range of animals, providing an educational and entertaining experience for children and adults alike. It's not every day you get to see such a wide variety of animals up close! However, the park does have its drawbacks. The most notable one is the long waiting times for rides. During peak hours, the queues can be quite lengthy, which can be frustrating for visitors eager to experience the attractions. I would recommend opting for a Fast Track pass if possible, as this significantly reduces waiting times. Despite this minor inconvenience, my overall experience at Chessington Adventure Park was highly enjoyable. It's a place where fun meets adventure, and every visitor is guaranteed to leave with a smile on their face and memories to cherish. Would I recommend Chessington Adventure Park? Absolutely! Just be prepared for some waiting in line during peak times.

Today's opening hours are 10-17:00. Departing from near Tolworth, I went to a place where I could park near the hotel for about an hour, but in front of the barricade, I asked if I was going to stay at the hotel or not, so I said I wouldn't stay. to park past. If I had asked from the beginning, I wouldn't have wasted my time... The opening hours were too short, from 10 to 17, and it took a long time for me, perhaps because there were few staff at tomb blaster, viking.., restaurants, etc. I saw only 3 employees in the tomb blaster, but maybe it wasn't because they didn't fill all the slots. It wasn't fun compared to the wait. 1 Catch of the day, 2 Battered Jumbo Sausage. I paid a total of 28.90 and ate it, but it was a system that cooked it in advance and gave it to me when I ordered it. Everything was tasteless. It didn't even feel like less than 10 pounds. Next time I come again, I'll have to bring it from home. I felt like there was a lack of staff here as well. So, excluding about an hour of waiting to park, the total time spent inside was about 5 hours. With the buy one get one free discount from Capri Sun, a total of 4 people paid 128 pounds, 8 pounds for parking, and 28.90 for food. I paid for it, but I still think it hurts so much. I promised myself that I would never come again at a time like this (the day when the weather was good right before school started). And the food was also disappointing, so I thought that I should bring it cheap or not.

Our visit to Chessington World of Adventure with friends and our children was a fantastic day out. One of the standout features of our experience was the remarkably short waiting times at the rides. The park's efficiency in managing queues made our day much more enjoyable, especially with excited kids in tow. Speaking of the kids, they had an absolute blast and managed to enjoy over 10 different rides during our visit. The variety of attractions catered to various age groups, ensuring that everyone had a great time. When it came to dining, we did visit one of the park's restaurants. While the food was tasty, we found some aspects less practical. For instance, we opted for the steak burger, but it might have been better served as a traditional steak cut rather than sandwiched in a bun. However, overall, the food options available were good, and we had no issues finding something to satisfy our hunger. In addition to the rides and dining, the short queues at the food stalls and other amenities made the visit even more enjoyable. The park's reliability in terms of managing crowds contributed to a stress-free experience. In conclusion, Chessington World of Adventure provided an excellent day out for both children and adults alike. With its efficient queue management, diverse ride options, and decent food choices, it's a highly recommended destination for a family-friendly adventure. Our kids had a fantastic time, and we left with smiles on our faces.

A nice day out, but be mindful and ready to be patient of your visiting in the school holidays. The waiting times are wrong and you’ll be waiting over an hour for each ride. There’s plenty of restaurants for meals that start at £12 for each standard meal, toilets scattered and picnic areas . Everything is signposted, but you can still get lost. The rides are hosted by very young people, who are subjected to rudeness by parents trying to push in. In general, the zoo area doesn’t have many staff wondering at all to answer your questions. I saw just one. The animals looked well catered for - giraffes have plenty of space . I did question the lack of space in the lion, sea lions, and gorilla enclosure, but I’m assuming there’s a reason for this. The sea lions were restricted in the small area to swim in, so they went in circles - not nice to view. I would recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance as they are much cheaper. I’d return, but not in the holidays. I paid for close tarmac parking, but it was full. Great atmosphere for families and animal enthusiast. The place is general is clean.

Had a great time at Chessington world of adventures. Suitable for all ages and houses a variety of fun and engaging activities. Food and drink is a tad pricey but nothing out of the ordinary. The Pizza & Pasta buffet was £18 for an adult, £10 for a child and included unlimited pizza, pasta, salad and drink. Staff were lovely and very helpful, even ending a ride early when noticing a young boy was not having a good time showing that they are attentive. Would recommend visiting midweek as it was much less busy and the wait time for most rides was between 10-30 minutes with a few of the popular ones being at 30-90 mins. If you’re interested in seeing the animals then would also recommend visiting the zoo and safari section around midday as the animals are all up and about. This is also when the queues for the rides tend to increase. Downloading the app is also essential as it makes it so easy to find where all the rides are and see the exact queue time for each one. It also acts as a map and guides you to the ride. Overall great experience for everyone involved.

This was one of the best family trips! My boys are 6 and 5 and they loved it. We chose chessington as if they didn't like the rides there were other things to do, see the animals, aquarium or gruffallo etc. We stayed in the hotel and got an extra day in the park free included in the package we booked. The hotel is lovely with gorgeous views out over the animals. The azteca restaurant has an ant farm running along the wall, which my bug loving boys found amazing. The food was lovely and the breakfast was included in the stay. There were plenty of rides for all ages and heights, and as we went on a random in week inset day, there were little to no queues. We have re-booked for 2024 as a birthday treat for our now roller coaster obsessed soon to be 7 year old!

Lovely sunny day out with my kids (my 1st visit). Lots of variety of rides for all ages. Staff were all lovely and helpful if needed to interact and easily spotted around the park. Loved all the rides able to get on especially mandrill mayhem & vampire. Fast passed a few at the cheaper prices (<£10 as £30 ones just silly prices) that we really wanted to go on and virtual queued for mandrill. Photopass was also a great plus. Loved all the themed areas and everyone had a good day. Funny watching everyone come off soaked on monkey swinger. Also really liked the park stayed open until 7pm. Think only negative was feel of the flow of the areas felt more back and forth rather than a loop and gift shops were few & small

I went to Chessington World of adventures today with my teenage daughter , and I must say it was a good day out but two of the rides we wanted to go on were not working, then one of the rides did open and then it broke down again and people were stuck on it. There are only four rides that are really good and the rest are for small children. I must say that Dragon fury was a really good ride. The food was actually quite good, we had dirty fries. Staff are really friendly and polite. To be honest I do not think that I will come back but I do recommend families with small children to come and experience the theme park themselves. There are lots of different animals here as well.

The place is very beautiful, the attractions are free. Buy tickets online otherwise they will cost double, from £30 online, pay £60 if you buy on the spot. The animals appear to be well kept and healthy. Really bad food, stale and borderline edible, especially the "hot potatoes and hotdog" stand of poor quality, I took 2 hot dogs, threw them both away. We took a coke from the vending machine, the coke was not dispensed, we lost the money and bought one at a sales point because no one knew how to get the money back or get the coke. The place is really nice, the attractions too but I recommend it but with lunch from home.

For the price of the tickets, you should get at least two free queue passes. Most rides are over an hour wait. It's a fun place. 8 hours and only managed 5 rides. You do feel annoyed when you see the wealthy jumping the queue with their passes for a family of 4 without the passes will cost you over 200 pounds. That includes refreshments and snacks. Bring your own lunch to make it cheaper. The worst part was being told you had to pay for parking? 150 pounds for a family of 4, and the parking is not included. That's an extra 8 pounds for the privilege of parking on a field and using dirt tracks with massive pot holes that wreacks your car.
I used to come here a lot as a child so it has been many years since I have been there last until Tuesday. We payed for the ultimate passes which I highly recommend. It made the day stress free and we managed to go on every ride more then once. We were there for a full day and loved every minute. I will be honest, the passes cost over £500 so I know it is unachievable for most but if you want the full experience it is worth it. My children are 7 and 8 years old so it was the perfect time to take them. All rides were open.

Fantastic family fun. Rides running and not much queuing even without queue fast track. Hotel stay get early access to the park with a selection of ride. (Check these before you go!) The hotel was clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel food was amazing, and we chose the buffet in the azteca part and weren't disappointed. Most rides are minimum 1.2m food and drink within the park were at a premium but not the worse I've seen. Animal Park was clean, and the animals looked in good health and cared for.

Rides themselves are brilliant!!!!! We was on the summer holiday so was busy, waiting in the queues for some rides even 100min!!!! With extra pay for "fast ride" still waiting in queue for some time!!! A lot attraction for small ones and bigger kids. Very nice zoo. For go for ALL attraction no chance in busy day as no enough time, becauseyou spend most the time in queue! Inside shops and glitter face paint quite dear... My advice is buy tickets online as they are cheaper and you don't have to queue at least to get in!

Been coming here for years but seems to get worse , nearly £200 for family of 4 , waiting times , queues for best rides all around an hour !! 4 ride not working !! Not clear on Chessington ap . parking £8 on the way out , food outlets inflated prices for poor quality food . Kids still, love it , and great to,see lots staff with litter pickers . So bring a pack lunch , don’t come in school holidays come on an inset day. Shame no quiet zone to chill, out with out nasty piped music and sound effects .

We buy the Merlin pass as we are childminders and love taking the kids to Chessington. There are loads of animals to see, from wild animals like lions, gorillas, zebra, giraffe, rhino to penguins, tigers and lots more. They have a small aquarium, enough to keep the kids busy. If you plan your day right they have different feeding times or talks you can go to. They also have an indoor soft play area for younger kids which is great! The carousel is always a hit too as our kiddies are all under 4yrs.

I have been coming to this park since 1995. Honestly, there hasn't been much change with the rides, but the amenities, food and drink and overall grounds look and feel updated. The park is a lot more cleaner than it has ever been. You don't see wasps or flies hoovering over food or near the bins. Seating areas are kept clean, the staff are a lot more cheerful and helpful, I was truly impressed. Kids loved the zoo as always, I do think the app with the grounds map could be a little more precise.

We had an excellent day out at Chessington. It was out of season, so quieter than normal. The virtual queue system for the Jumanji Mandrill Mayhem ride worked a treat, with virtually no waiting time before we could ride the ride. It's an excellent ride as well. Queues for other rides were fine, except for the Vampire, as they closed it (technical difficulties) when we were at the head of the queue. Otherwise queuing was fine. Friendly staff.

Fabulous break with the children a firm favourite for us. The hotel presented as clean and service in the resturants were to a high standard. Queries were short as we visited at the end of the holiday season. Virtual queue for rides were short, and we liked the early morning pass, so we had access to the park for an hour before the general public arrived. Reasonable prices in the bars, we had the added bonus of discounts with our merlin cards. The children have fond memories of this venue, so it's a firm favourite with us
Great day out. However, the toilets were disgusting everywhere we went they were just not serviced enough, and the disabled access to rides were not clearly marked. While this is a great park with great rides I would love to see a better instructions for layout just so you can get around easier, and for the safari trucks not to be big dirty diesel engines as that can't be good for the animals who have constant traffic in and around them.

Park itself was okay. My Granddaughter is too young for most of the rides, so we primarily went for the zoo. The Zoo was awesome. She did enjoy some of the smaller rides, however having to queue for 25 mi s plus for each one was a nightmare. How do you explain to a 2 year old they have to wait? Also be careful, even if you book your tickets in advance lime we did, they will sting you for £8 for parking as you leave.

Expensive without vouchers, queues are way too long for a few seconds ride. We brought our own food but drinks were expensive in the park. The main water ride was closed which is disappointing as its the one we most wanted. Not a very big amusement park I wouldn't go back there. And parking is not free unless u have a merlin pass. £8 exit fee which is ridiculous as the park is expensive enough.

First time back in 15 years. A lot different to what I remember, now aimed at families instead of groups of older teenagers messing around and jumping queues which is a good thing now. Shame the park is missing some of the good old rides. Bear in mind if you want to view the animals, you would probably need 2 days due to long wait times for the rides and that's using the ride access pass.

A great day out for all ages. Compact so walkable around. Good theming with each land. Well maintained. Plenty of food places, although with the usual mark up you would expect from a theme park. Car park is a good size and you self park, allowing you to have a gap between cars and actually get out the car! Small zoo to look around. Plenty to do and see and still return for more.

Stayed two nights at the Safari Hotel, Only complaint is that the shower pressure is abysmal. But the room was clean and comfortable. The park itself was great. Scattered over the park are booths where you can get unlimited refills of soft drinks and ice, if you buy the cup, only wished water was an option as well. Overall a great time, if you plan and book things in advance.

For me, it's the best family theme park in the UK. It has the right amount of kid friendly rides, and for adults who want a bit more of a thrilling experience. The park is clean and well maintained. All staff experienced were extremely helpful. Good variety of activities and it's nice they also have animals and shows. Overall, great experience and will recommend to anyone who wants to go as a family

The experience was great, rides were perfect for me. In my opinion Vampire is really worth the wait, I waited 1 hour just to ride the vampire roller coaster and I felt like that I was not going to get to the end of the queue and when I went on the ride it made my mind up that it was worth it, all aside that the food was great too also love the animals.

Family friendly theme park which puts extra care immersing yourself as an adventurer. All family can enjoy this. It offers competitive prices, friendly staff and somewhat thrilling attraction. If it lack in some aspect, they don’t have that many super strong rides. Also queue times are unreliable, it may say 5 minutes but you end up waiting 30. The zoo is excellent, most animals look good, the sealife is great. An amazing package.
I returned on a Rainy Day Guarantee which is a great incentive that more theme parks should employ. Enjoyed watching the animals just as much as the rides, and with so much to fit in a day your fun is guaranteed. Also liked the free virtual ride aspect for Mandrill Mayhem, to avoid the droll of queuing for 2 hours

First visit to Chessington, weather on the damp side, made our way through the zoo areas, really disappointed to see not a single ride was open, areas all fenced off.... stayed about 1.5hrs sadly. A great place for the 1 hour hotel guests only admission. Otherwise very crowded, long waiting for everything (90 minutes line doesn't seem normal). Maybe nicer for younger kids who enjoys the zoo, so you can keep them busy watching the animals and doing the kids rides (with a lot less waiting)

Fantastic place to visit, took our 4 year old nephew and had a great day. Plenty of rides for all ages, and being able to see all the animals was fantastic, the penguin talk was informative. I'd recommend paying £15 for the refillable drink for the day, especially if it's hot weather.

Absolutely great day. They have really hit the nail on the head. It's the perfect mix of kids and adult entertainment. Kids loved all the rides and the zoo and aquarium. Food was good and we stayed in the hotel.which took all the stress out of the trip as we had 2 days. Highly recommended for families with mixed ages. Kids already asking to go back!!!
Excellent day out. Loads to do. Too much to do in one day with normal queue times. Very up to date and loads of places to eat and drink spread throughout the park. Shame the park is in the ulez! Paid for express parking and was able to park right by the entrance

We went there on a very busy day. As a family of parents with two kids, we managed to experience different rides. Shame, the waiting for rides was too long but it is worth the wait. We'll definitely go again with the kids. My 3 years old kid enjoyed the show at 12 pm. My 7 years old loved the vampire ride, it's his favourite rollercoaster.
Some really cute rides for the little one and some really wonderful staff. The person giving reindeer and session talks was so good and engaged so well with guests despite the fact she was clearly freezing! Would have been nice to have a few more opportunities to escape the cold a little on a very chilly day.

Great day out, very busy though. We stayed at the resort, and in the hour of early access, we got on more rides than we had the entire day prior to that. You definitely need two days. Lovely mixture of rides and zoo. Mandrill mayhem was brilliant. Music around the park is too loud. Did overwhelm my smallest child.
I haven't been her3 since I was a little girl. So to bring my child and make memories was magical. Staff was friendly all around the zoo. Even with the down pour of rain it was still a lovely day. Would recommend so much to do

We really enjoyed our time here. There was a variety of rides for all ages and other entertainment like the sealife centre, the shows and animals. There are always massive queues for the big rides in places like this, be prepared. The food is well questionable though, give that a miss
As a merlin pass holder, we are regulars at the park. Always enjoy ourselves. Even when busy there is plenty to do. If the rides are busy there is always shows to watch, activities, the zoo to look round and farm animals to see. Love the different seasonal shows they do.
Beautiful place to visit with family as rides for all ages packed with excitement. Also some crazy rides for adventure seekers. Themes of rides are amazing. Weekends in summer are busy at the place, so expect long queues for rides.
