"The people working here do not wear mask first of all"
"I have been going to this station for 26 years! Always enjoyed the staff until today! As AZ has a mandate on wearing masks I find my experience today Not ok! A senior staff member cashier not wearing a mask told me this! I am not wearing a mask because I do not want to! It’s been 3 months and I am fine! WRONG answer! It’s not about you! How dare you not abide by the ruling that all wear a mask in Phoenix! The owner of this station is very kind I bet he would not want to be fined or loss business to this employees disrespectful attitude "
"First time reviewing a gas station and Tom deserves every star this place receives"
This station offers propane fill ups! I saw a cashier dealing with a rude and entitled customer wanting her to fill his propane in the rain yesterday, she handled his smart mouth beautifully. It takes a certain lack of human decency when Propane customers wish to debate being told no they cannot make their propane purchase due to weather or daylight restrictions. You have to be a completely selfish excuse for a human being to want someone to fill propane for you in the rain, snow or after it has been deemed too dark. Everyone who fills a propane tank MUST be government certified in which to do so. Based on OSHA and other federal laws it is at the DISCRETION of the CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE to refuse to fill an RV or propane tank. If it is unsafe, or conditions can lead to illness or injury, service can and will be justifiably refused. Propane is highly flammable, exposure to skin causes frostbite, is nontoxic BUT it is an asphyxiating gas. A high concentration can displace oxygen in the air. If less oxygen is available to breathe, symptoms such as rapid breathing, rapid heart rate, clumsiness, emotional upsets and fatigue can result. As less oxygen becomes available, nausea and vomiting, collapse, convulsions, coma and death can occur. That means propane will displace the oxygen in your lungs, making it difficult or impossible to breathe if exposed to high concentrations. (If you suspect you have inhaled a significant amount of propane, call 911. If you smell propane, or suspect a propane leak, call your propane supplier or 911 right away. )These reasons are why the propane attendant cannot use an umbrella and why you will not find a canopy over a propane tankard, because they trap nontoxic but flammable asphyxiating fumes. No one in their right mind will cater to a customer who makes it clear they care more about their convenience, satisfaction and pleasure than the health and safety of others ESPECIALLY the person they’re expecting to service them! You have enough money to own a fancy grill or to own or operate an RV, so you can afford some manners. Common courtesy isn’t dead, it’s in a coma. Tip your propane filler, they have to be trained, tested and get a lifelong federal certificate to get paid pennies on the dollar to provide a service that is a more of a health hazard and an inconvenience for them..and it is entirety for your benefit. The business gets the full amount of your propane sale, the attendant does not. If they helped back to back propane customers for an hour depending on the business they just made $.50. Now you can be ignorant and petty and say “Well if they didn’t want to do that job they can work somewhere else.” That’s right, they can. And that’s what happens, then there’s one less person who is certified to fill propane. Because too many ungrateful and entitled people just bit off the hand that feeds them one too many times and they now made it that much harder to find reliable propane service for themselves and for GOOD customers!
Friend of mine was assaulted by the night clerk, named Kevin. When we asked merchants close to the Chevron they stated, Kevin has many confrontations with customers and neighbors. I have watched his uncontrolled rage and once heard him threaten to shoot a customer. Apparently the PPD is aware of Kevin's behavior and has responded to calls from individuals who have been threatened by Kevin. We spoke with Jim? the store manager about this incident and there was no research into the event. Joe is unwilling to share the communities concern with the owner's of the station and Kevin's uncontrolled anger will continue until the police or community demand Chevron be held accountable for their franchisees behavior.
The people working here do not wear mask first of all... I wonder why. But my wife and I who are both Hispanic went to this store early in the morning, about 4 am, walked there because our battery died and we needed water. Walgreen's had just gotten robbed so we could not go in... anyways, as soon as we walked in they start talking about dropping off his "trump ballot"... his exact words. By "they" I'm talking about the owner or guy who is always working there. It felt like a lot of tension in there lol but I dont let that bother me unless it's directly at me. Just a heads up. P.s ... f*ck trump!

First time reviewing a gas station and Tom deserves every star this place receives. I came late night to get my night started with Uber and before I walk in I hear a friendly voice way outside 'Hey! How's it going tonight? I thought to myself 'I now want to buy more stuff here now lol I walk in and get to the counter and he's just so engaged with a genuine personality that it makes me want to come back and visit. I just lived here so it's very pleasant to receive great hospitality. Thank you so very much Tom!!!
I accidentally pushed Regular when I needed Premium so I put the nozzle back and it wouldn't reset to dispense the gas I needed so I went into the store to get some help and first they lied and said they didn't charge me then when I showed them it had charged the full amount, I was told it would reappear in my account later which was another lie. I left because the amount wasn't worth the bother but these people are thieves and the staff is clueless so I will not be coming back and don't recommend coming.
The male employee on Sunday evening, at about 5:30 wasn’t wearing a mask and seemed a lot more interested in his phone than waiting on customers, so be careful when you go inside especially on Sunday evenings. The woman who was wearing a mask had to pickup his his slack. It sounds like Chevron PR corporate will be getting a call and I will also check to see if there’s anything the state can do about the employees not wearing masks.
I come here for the convenience of a store. Fountain drinks and lottery tickets are my main purchase. The staff here does not turn over regularly. Always the same friendly faces there and they seem to keep busy. Gas prices are always towards the higher end so I try not to fill up here, but they do fill LP tanks so this is where I come for that. Also, air and water are free, which has become somewhat of a rarity.
This is by far the best gas station I have ever been too!!! The employee's here are fantastic. If it wasn't for Tom, Lana and Dave it would be dull and boring. They always have a great attitude and a good sense of humor. They should be recognized and rewarded for their hard work and customer service skills! -Thank you guys for always making day! GO CHEVRON!!!⛽
Is there a reason why the staff at this location feel like they don't need to wear a mask? Or why i had to walk into a conversation one night while a staff member was talking about how he hates cleaning the bathroom and the homeless should be euthanized? Are Chevron's franchises or who do I call to report these uncomfortable experience?
Usually get the best service here at this gas station until I received a service from a black woman I paid for gas and as I was walking out she started complaining and cursing about one of my Bill's being folded definitely not made for customer service! Everyone else it's very nice here! Never had problems
I needed gas and I asked for $20 it said I pumped 3.65 gallons which would be accurate with there almost $6 a gallon but looked at my range and it said 16 mi left till empty I get 17 miles to the gallon. So I should have 62 miles to go and my car is saying 16 mi. They need there pumps calibrated
I live near this Chevron, and several of the clerks are really nice. But more and more, they are not wearing masks and customers are not required to wear masks. Yesterday a clerk told me that it was unconstitutional to require masks. I will not go back to this store or gas station.
Made an emergency travel stop here to use the bathroom and was denied entry. Was eyed up and down and was told the bathroom was "closed for the night". Treated like a crackhead by the guy behind the counter. What a disgusting, demoralizing experience.
Small station and it didn't help that the initial pump I chose was broken. Otherwise, I pumped my gas without incident. I was curious about the gas staying power since it's supposed to be so good. No noticeable difference in mileage or operation.
I usually try and find the positive everywhere I go....however this place just feels negative. The staff/owners act like they are too busy to assist they have signs all over the place saying what they will not do....nothing positive here folks
While driving around in the area late at nigth you will see the cool blue light radiating from this Chevron Phoenix gas station. I remember walking by here once and seeing the clerk engaged in a very passionate conversation with a customer.
Tom, Rob and Kevin are some of the nicest and out going people you’ll ever meet while on the road late at night. I will forever visit and go out of my way for this station just to see them while I fuel up and get back on the road for Lyft!
Left after getting 2 gallons of gas. The pump would only full 1/10th of a gallon before shutting off and needing to be restarted. Truly surprising that I had the patience to even purchase two gallons.
Used to be a great place. Well managed, shelves were nice & stocked but, since new ownership took over, things have really gone downhill. Too bad, now it's just another typical convenience store.
I used to use Chevron Gas exclusively, but I got tired of paying their excessively high prices. This station is decent, but much higher than some other stations just a few miles north.
I went to Chevron, 16th st & Glendale. Great! Customer Service and a young man was very polite and funny. All the veteran employees that work there are excellent.
High prices and rude employee and the bathroom is not available at all times. I think the rude guy working just makes up his own rules about using the restroom.
I've never walked into this place and had a bad experience. The location itself is sketchy at times. But the employees who work this gas station are very nice.
Restroom was clean and I found something to snack on while I waited for the bus. There was no wait in line at all at the counter and the people were friendly.
This is a nice little convenience store, gas station with friendly employees. Chevron sells the best gas in the country, I have used the product for years!!!
Attendants are always friendly and the station is always clean. Not many pumps and on a very busy corner so not always easy to get thought up to a pump.
My local Chevron. Been going here for 17 years. Know most of the employees for as long as they've been working there. A lot of long time employee's.
I live 4 blocks down the street from this Chevron and I don't even go. Let's start with the first problem: expensive, expensive, expensive. Even
Friendly employees, always willing to help, but they sometimes seem a bit distracted with talking to each other. But that is my only complaint.
I believe Chevron is the greatest of all they make their prices so high they place themselves on corners near freeways I never go to a Chevron
Typical convenience store and gas station. Nothing really compelling about the products carried. I would not go out of my way to stop there.
The gentleman that works the am shift is a highlight to my day. He always has a pleasurable greeting for everyone that comes through.
High-quality gasoline and a nice little convenience store with friendly service. They just upgraded their pay-at-the-pump machines.
It was accessible. There were some pumps that were closed and so I had to wait for a moment to get gas. Very clean and organized.
Good gas and cheaper then most chevrons stations but the cashiers need to be taught customer service skills, they’re bad at it!
Convenient, free compressed air, gas is pricey compared to Costco prices, but you can get it discounted with Safeway points.
Friendly staff and the best mint chocolates! And I hate chocolate! But these are made in Glendale and they are SCREAMIN!
I got gas! Not that kinda gas, but fuel...for the car! They had it, I bought it, and then I drove away! What a concept!!
One of the last places that allows you free air and water for your car with a large parking lot on a Handy Corner
Has prices are about $0.17 more than surroundings..... But the people working there were pretty cool about things
Incredibly great people professional mannerisms courtesy great personalities great spirit each and every time
Price for gas is ridiculous! Very nice cashiers & clean mini-mart. Free air, water, squeegee & paper towels.
Great location, usually quick, plenty of pumps, little stores. People are in a hurry but not in a rude way.
Owner is fantastic. Always friendly, helpful and willing to order items I need if they are not in stock.
It great, I love the gas, even tho the price is different.. But it for the quality, not for the quatytty
Advertising you can't mute blasting you in the face from pumps that disperse to slowly. Never again.
Cheap gas prices, but not always the best gas quality. Good place to fill up when your on a budget.
Always get my gas here, great location and discount on gas if you shop at Safeway down the street
The attendant was very helpful and directed us in finding what we were looking for. Very clean...
I get my Fuel Rewards from Safeway here. Love the savings and convenient locations around town!
Very cool gas station on a one lane road in middle of nowhere otw to grand canyon national park
Fantastic group. Service. Courteous. Friendly. Helpful. All describe this island of decency.
Pump wouldn't read my card. Long line inside. Narrow passage way along side pump to exit.
It was clean and I was able to get in and out without. The clerk was extremely friendly
The morning clerks always know that I need my zigzag wraps. Says the Blunted Custodian
Standard typical gas station. Needed fuel and a drink. In out no problem.
Bestest cleanest awsomest gasoline station ever! And they got free air!
Nice clean little shop. Not usually busy. They take Safeway rewards.
Alot of room to get around if you have a trailer. Gas on high side.
They're always so nice here. Even when there's a line to checkout.
Employees are always nice and helpful. Gas trends to be expensive.
Clean and fast service for filling up on snacks and gasoline.
The people that work here are funny. They need a TV show lol.
Attendants are nice, pumps have tv to watch while filling up.
Coffee every Sunday morning.. bottled water doing the week.
This gas station is small and busy! Staff is very nice!
It's a gas station with a small mini Mart. That's it..
Clean, comfortable, plenty of pumps & has a car wash
Better customer service than your local Starbucks.
Fast no waiting on way to job.and friendly clerks
One of the highest gas prices in the city.
Very expensive gasoline. Sorry for that.
Horrible parking. Ridiculous gas prices.
In a hurry great place to just stop by.
Gas has techtron better than top tier
Ugly old woman behind counter
Good place to get propane.
personnel wonderful
