I had a great experience with Chicago Marathon Movers! My movers were Juan and Richard. I never write reviews but felt like I had to make the time to write this because my movers were amazing. Juan and Richard were super professional, respectful, efficient, enthusiastic, and helpful. They made my move-day as stress-free as possible. I tried to label all my boxes/bags with stickers (to tell them which room the item should go in) and they said this was helpful and made the job easier. It was also very helpful to have them take apart and put together bed frame—they did it way quicker than it would’ve taken me to do. The movers were very quick but made sure to treat my items with care (wrapping items that needed to be shrink-wrapped, using blankets on furniture, etc.). None of my items were broken or lost in the process, which is something I was worried about happening. Juan and Richard were also super friendly and enthusiastic about the job. I really appreciated their upbeat personalities on a day that could have been very stressful! Aside from the movers themselves, the employees who answer the phones to set up your move were just as friendly and helpful. They were helpful with their suggestions in terms of picking the right number of movers and walking through the costs. There were no hidden fees—what I was told was what I got. I was recommended to use them by a friend, and I will definitely be recommending them to others now!

10/10 Experience for my 1 Bedroom Apartment Move. I sent a quote out via Yelp and got an almost immediate response. They were transparent about their pricing which I love. We scheduled a window for the movers to arrive for the following week. What can I say about my movers Pie and Jesus? I mean they are just the BEST. They arrived and were polite/kind - we made some small talk and they got to work. When I say I was blown away by the speed and efficiency i mean I was BLOWN AWAY. They moved my entire 1 bedroom apartment out of my old place (Old Town) and into my new condo (West Loop) in UNDER AN HOUR. Not a scratch or a nick on anything they touched or my walls. They wrapped up my delicates (mattress/dresser/etc) in saran wrap. I swear they turned into spiders for a second with how quickly they wrapped them. Total cost: $285 These guys are the big leagues. Can't recommend them enough. Thanks team!

Nelson, Riff and Juan were exceptional. This felt like white glove service. They were fast, efficient, respectful and worked easily with us, our needs and the requirements of the building we were moving out of. They also had great, positive attitudes and were respectful of our time and our belongings. They even provided some input on how to setup our place based on past experience. I would trust Chicago Marathon Movers with moving the Mona Lisa - this company and crew is that good! A+++ and five stars. This was the typical, hectic, end of the month two bedroom downtown Chicago high-rise move to another downtown high-rise. These are always stressful moves, but Nelson, Riff and Juan made it like getting a cup of coffee.

Last Saturday, Joe and Piel from Marathon Movers moved my college daughter from her old apartment ,which was being sold , to a new apartment 6 minutes away. From start to finish, this company was very prompt, efficient,friendly and professional. Joel and Piel showed up on time and worked tirelessly to wrap her furniture , get it down one flight of stairs and then up 3 flights of stairs and they finished in the time allotted. I highly recommend purchasing the roll of furniture wrap and I highly recommend these two hard workers. I will be using them again when she graduates at the end of the year. Today was the 4th time we have used Marathon Movers. My husband and I are returning customers because this company is phenomenal! Please excuse the old saying, but, they know our name! They have always accommodated our needs and requests. We're treated like old friends. Andre, Edgar, and Adam went above and beyond my expectations. They moved a 500lb machine down the stairs, with a turn, seamlessly. At first, it was looking like it wasn't going to be possible but they continued to come up with alternate solutions and made it happen. Their dedication and hard work was more than I could have asked for. Other companies I called said no beforehand over the phone. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!! And to top it off, they were a pleasure to work with and extremely respectful.

I had move very last minute, like next day and since my sister referred them, I called and got an immediate call back with a time frame and everything. True to their word, the three guys Nabor, Freddie and Riff came in like lighting and got to work. Really personable, fast and professional. I will always use these guys and suggest them to any and everyone. And for someone who has been in the service industry for over 20 years, they made this as painless as can be and with great service to boot!

Nelson, Riff, and Pie were excellent. Although they came slightly late due to thunderstorm, they were able to complete the job in 2.5 hours. They wrapped and carried everything, including large furniture and chest freezer, down the stairs from the top of three story building during heavy rain. Nothing would stop them hustling, even though my post office neighbor threatened to tow their truck. When they arrived at my new house, they placed everything gently exactly where I wanted things to be.

I was very happy with my service. They had a computer glitch the day before my move and didn't have me in the system. But they were able to get everything resolved quickly and effectively. I had three movers who quickly packed everything up. All of my furniture pieces were carefully wrapped and protected. I was moved in exactly two hours. The price was extremely reasonable. I will refer them to all of my friends and family because it's hard to find good movers.

Marathon movers were quick to get a quote and great with communication. On the day of the move, Nabor called me to let me know they were on the way and about an hour away. They arrived right at the time we scheduled. They were very helpful with what we needed and Nabor, Edgar and Gerardo handled our stuff with care. They were all very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend using them and will definitely be using them for our next move!

I had the opportunity to work with Rob and Daryl today and they were amazing. I am moving across state lines and used their services to load my own uhaul. When my I received a uhaul that was a size smaller than expected, I panicked that everything would not fit. They packed every inch of this truck to ensure everything would fit and nothing would break. There is no one I would trust more than Rob and Daryl! 5 star service and quality!

Nabor and pie—— they were on time, very courteous, pleasant, very accommodating to requests and joyful in their work and interactions. I’ve used Marathon Movers a number of times at this point, and they are always such a pleasure. In addition to competitive rates and reliability, they are always so careful in moving my items. When my movers cancelled the day before my cross country Pods were set to arrive, I called Chicago Marathon Movers and Ron was a lifesaver. Highly recommend Marathon Movers! We had a duplex apartment on the second and third floor in the city and they handled all of our furniture with ease! They brought two extra men to help with the move and still only charged me for the 3 men crew. They were all such nice guys and worked non stop. They worked like pros and handled our furniture with care. Will definitely use again in the future for our next move!

The two movers I had (Nabor and Freddie) were amazing! They made the move so easy! They were on time, patient with figuring out logistics of the buildings, and so friendly. They disassembled and reassembled furniture timely and carefully, and wrapped everything so well. I offered to help and they were insistent that they were going to do everything. I hate moving and almost lost it when I thought I lost my keys after the truck was packed. The 3 guys who moved me was pleasant, patient, and helped my search. All to say Chicago Movers made a stressful experience tolerable. They were fast workers and careful with my belongings. I would use them again.

I worked with Juan and Riff to move from Evanston to Gold Coast. They were fantastic. Did not get flustered when elevator was unavailable. And constantly in motion - they were efficient, did not waste a minute and had me moved in under 3 hours.
