My recent visit to Chick-fil-A left me utterly disappointed and disrespected, primarily due to the unprofessional and unkind behavior of a trainee employee named Lucas and the subsequent lack of intervention by the employee training him. As a loyal Chick-fil-A customer, I was shocked to encounter such behavior at a restaurant that has long been revered for its commitment to exceptional customer service and its emphasis on treating people with kindness and respect. Upon entering the restaurant, I encountered Lucas, a trainee who was being observed and guided by another employee. When I informed him of my name, "George," he abruptly declared, "I don't know how to spell George," despite me clearly stating my name rather than spelling it out letter by letter. This remark, coupled with Lucas's overall dismissive attitude, was not only unprofessional but also made me feel unwelcome and belittled. Disconcertingly, the employee training Lucas remained silent throughout this interaction, failing to address Lucas's inappropriate behavior or offer any guidance or support. This lack of intervention only exacerbated the situation, reinforcing the message that such conduct was acceptable and that customer respect was not a priority. I immediately requested a different employee to complete my order, hoping to avoid any further unpleasantness. The subsequent employee supervising, though capable in processing my order, lacked warmth and engagement, creating an impersonal atmosphere that fell short of Chick-fil-A's usual standards. While I understand that trainees require training and that employees may have off days, the combination of Lucas's disrespect and the lack of intervention by the training employee was unacceptable. This sends a message that basic kindness and professionalism are not valued at this particular location. I urge Chick-fil-A management to take these incidents seriously and take the necessary measures to ensure that all employees, including trainees and those providing training, conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the company's reputation for exceptional service and basic human decency where everyone feels welcome and respected.

You can never go wrong with Chick-fil-A. I recently visited Chick-fil-A and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the food and service. I had the pleasure of trying their Deluxe Chili Burger, fries and nuggets and they were all nothing short of exceptional. The Deluxe Chili Burger was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of spice to it, leaving my taste buds yearning for more. The fries were fresh and crispy, while the nuggets were simply amazing - crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. What impressed me the most, however, was the level of customer service that the staff at Chick-fil-A provided. They were friendly, attentive and really went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Overall, I cannot recommend Chick-fil-A enough. With such delicious food, impeccable customer service and a warm and inviting atmosphere, it’s no wonder why they are one of the most popular fast-food chains around. So, whether you're in the mood for a burger, fries or nuggets, Chick-fil-A is definitely the place to go!

They made a mistake on the order. I spoke to an Associate/Manager who told me to come next day to take care of the mistake. I go there and run into this Older Hispanic lady who has been doing the morning shift for a long time and I have realized in the last 5 years that communication wasn’t her strong point nor was being pleasant. She is the chick fil à version of Groucho Marx. She has got my orders wrong on several occasions in the past but I have always managed to get them fixed. I dreaded give her the order over the speaker system. In any case she was supposed to give me a replacement breakfast filet despite my assertions and proof and she wanted the original receipt. Often they forget to put receipts particularly when there is a survey. Apparently the lady had the authorization to set off the $2.40 filet but didn’t. Have other folks had problems with this force of nature? Never again

Service was VERY courteous and quick. The meal was hot and fresh. Only thing was there was no menu boards available for my friend to view prior to ordering, and she was a bit disappointed that the chicken sandwich in her meal, although well prepared and incredibly fresh, was basically nothing but a big chunk of white meat chicken breast and the roll. No lettuce and tomatoes, no mayo, just plain. She would have requested condiments added to the sandwich had she known The waffle fries were delicious and light (I've had them in other fast food chains where they are so thick cut, and soak up so much grease they sit like lead in your stomach) I would have preferred if the waffle fries were just a bit more "crisp" on the outside layer, but they were good and I'll definitely order them again. My friend really enjoyed the shake she ordered as well. This location closes at 9 pm so if you are hungry, plan to get there early so as not to be disappointed.

Today is September 13. It’s 5:40 PM I never had this kind of experience before Chick-fil-A, Carmen mountain has 2 lanes of lines, and I moved to one of them. Where is the employee is taking the orders from the car on front of me, in the other lane another car pulled after me, the employee switch from my lane to the other lane and took the order from other car first and when I told him hey I am the first here, he says, that’s the lady which come from inside in her break I think she is his supervisor told him to take my order from this car first, I parked my car and I went inside asked for the manager and I complained about the situation but unfortunately he did nothing just said I don’t know why she told him like this, and that’s all, this totally unacceptable behavior from Chick-fil-A. never go back in this store again

My food is always good, and the employees are usually great. The one thing that is not good, time after time, is there a drive-through service. Today I was in line, and two cars that were behind me, were waved ahead by the person who took their order. Their food was brought out to them before mine even though I was in line first. All I got was a Chick-fil-A sandwich with fries, so it wasn’t like I had a large order. To make things worse, the young lady that brought me my food seemed indifferent about the whole thing. She actually seem put off that I brought it up . It’s not the end of the world, but somebody should figure out a better drive-through system and speak to the young girl with red hair and glasses about customer service.

10/12/2022 Around lunch I asked for 2 grilled chicken sandwiches and instead they gave me a regular fried chicken sandwich. I asked for grilled because of medical reasons (literally cannot have fried). I was unable to check until I got home. This is the first time this happened in the 5 years I have gone to Chic Fil A. I recall when getting to the speaker to order food I heard the employees screwing around and I had to repeat my order twice. For what they are paid, especially in this economy, they should not be screwing around. Imagine if an elderly person needed grilled chicken and instead you give them fried chicken. How would corporate feel killing an old person because of kids screwing around the register?

We placed an online order for in store pick up. When we arrived our order wasn't at the pick up window, no worries but some time later when we tried and ask the employees were not helpful. One was behind the counter on her phone while the others stood around. When someone finally was available they pulled out order from behind the counter. We ordered a shake for our son, they hadn't even started it. Meanwhile people that came in to order food received theirs. My favorite fast food restaurant. This Chick-fil-a location is nice, and has a great set-up. The volunteers are especially friendly. Most of the time they get 3/4 stars is because they are closed on Sundays. This is because they are honoring the Sabbath day. There are always lots of seats available, and is kid friendly. Though they are kid friendly, it does not mean the place is a mess. It, in fact, is the cleanest fast food restaurant I have been to, and I've been to quite a few. They have never gotten my order wrong, and the food is delicious. The kids' playground is closed in, and the walls are either soundproof, or really thick, because you can't hear a thing for outside. It has decent priced food. I DEFINITELY recommend!

I hate putting bad reviews so I will give it 5 stars but it was really an annoying 2 STAR experience. I came by and ordered 3 Large Fries. I asked for 5 Garden Herb Ranch Sauces and the person taking my order said they have limit for 2 ranch per item. I ordered 3 Large fries so if that was the case then I should be allowed 6? I usually love CFA, and normally they have amazing customer service. I will order ahead of time on their app, and on Friday when I was waiting for my order to be delivered to me (I chose carry out), no one came to help me or ask of I had been helped. I waited 10 minutes after my order was placed just to get the original chicken sandwich. They were putting all of the carry out orders in the counter farthest from me behind a register and no one was handing them out. Only until I approached a cashier and asked for my food did he grab it for me. Very disappointed in this experience. I will probably not come back to this location because of this.

Usually the service is good but last time I was there Drive Thru seemed to be more of a priority than people who entered. Person acknowledged me and that was it. Another person that took care of a catering order told me a headset person (not the person who acknowledged me) is supposed to only do drive thru orders. I didn't appreciate this comment. I did not recieve a apology for the 20 minute wait to place my order.

This is my FAVORITE chick-fil-a to go to, and my go to fast food joint. The service has only twice ever been slow but always friendly. The rewards are also the best here and add up fast. Went here to pick a mobile order with 3 drinks requiring the ice cream machine. They closed the ice cream machine down and said they couldn’t make the drinks or refund the money because I prepaid with Apple Pay. They offered me 3 soft drinks instead. This is not an equal trade. After numerous attempts to get money back I have been unable to. Another order did not make salad correctly after verifying the order twice. Won’t be back.

The dining room is not currently open, but the drive-thru is, and as usual, the employees are polite and efficient. They let me know to disregard the sign in the front door and to feel free to use the restroom inside. The food was promptly delivered and was fresh and hot. I ordered iced tea and it didn't have an overabundance of ice like some fast food restaurants like to give. Perfect!

Love this Chick-fil-a. It has an indoor play place that has clear walls so that you can see your kids from your table. The service is good, at least once after you sit down someone comes by to see if you need more ketchup or napkins or anything. The place is clean, bathrooms are nice, and the drive through service is fast and courteous. All in all, I really like this restaurant.

Hands down one of the best Chick-fil-A spots in San Diego. My job requires me to travel all around SD, and this place is one of the best places I have gone to!!!

Best chicken sandwiches and most helpful and polite service of any fast food restaurant, but everybody knows that. Addictive. Try the sauces. The Chick-fil-a sauce is my favorite and really complements the chicken. The lemonade and ice tea are both exceptional and old-fashioned. Any time you say thanks, you will hear, "My pleasure". It is easy to order here in line, they're very friendly and The food is usually pretty good.. I went here the other day and there was only one person in front of me when I got my food and drove off, it was kind of cold, and they didn't give me the sauce I asked for. Was kind of a bummer but I'm sure that happens! I like their chicken sandwich a lot!

Generally this chick fila is pretty good, but their drive thru is a mess. They split it into 2 lines (meant for 1) and I guess I picked the wrong one, bc I saw about 9 cars that came after me get their order first. This has happened a couple of times now. Recommend going in or curbside. Don't want to think it is racial profiling, but you never know.

Seems like they have started restricting sauce requests. In fact even if you just select the sauces you want with your meal options, they just give you a couple sauces even if you buy $35 worth of meals. Bummer though, I loved coming here for the generous sauces.

I absolutely love Chick-Fil-A but this location did not meet my expectations. The service was slower than I usually receive but not terrible. The chickens was juicy and delicious. However the waffle fries and hash browns were both undercooked and not warm at all hence the 3 stars.

This is my absolute favorite chick filet!! I have one closer to my home but go to this one because I just love the manager, she is amazing. Has been there for years and always makes time to say hi to me and my kids. Also, the food is better at this one, never burnt or undercooked.

This particular location my Dad and I happened to be blessed with a bright spirited young woman, nearing the end of her shift: made it an easy, pleasant experience, oh the food was quite good, too

My sandwich order was messed up. I ordered a Deluxe Spicy with pepperjack cheese with Lettuce and tomato, got one with no lettuce no tomato 2nd time drive thru mess up, why do u have display pics that show items in the menu and serve something else?

Don't waste your money by up-sizing at this location. The large fries always come half full, total waste of money. They also never give you straws here either. Definitely one of the weakest locations in SD.

Just got a 12 piece nuggets and one had a long black hair fried into the batter ! Fruit is clearly old, it’s practically clear in color and slimy!! Don’t think we will be back to this location ! Yuk
