Ordered Won Ton soup and wings for pickup. Upon arriving the manager was talking on the phone taking an order and speaking to me at the same time. I advised her she could continue with her order if she preferred being that while i was trying to speak she was speaking to another customer on the phone so i was consistently asked to repeat myself. I then went home and began to eat the wonton soup. It was really gummy as though it wasn’t cooked all the way. I went back to the restaurant and asked if i could have it exchanged for a more thorough cooked wonton soup. The manager then was really rude and got angry and stated it was cooked and that i just wanted a refund. I asked for an exchange not a refund so i don’t understand why she judged immediately and was being really rude. She then opened her cash register drawer and slammed the amount of the sound in cash on the counter at me. I had my 7 year old daughter with me and she was frightened from the hostile energy. I will never go back. This was a really sad and unfortunate encounter. Please go else where if your looking for great customer service and well cooked food. I did food inspection in the United States Army. Trust when I say it WAS NOT COOKED THOROUGHLY and with it containing pork the safety pro cautions of consuming it raw is very dangerous.

First and foremost the customer service is horrible. The young lady at the register seemed bothered by simple requests. When I asked questions about the menu the questions where answered in a very nasty tone. The food is not worth the money you spend on it. I ordered shrimp fried rice with 10 honey wings. 1 the shrimp were undercooked, transparent and slightly slimy, and there were only 5 shrimp. For a $4 increase for shrimp fried rice that is ridiculous. I took my food back in and politely asked to exchange it out for a different kind of rice and was once again met with an attitude by the young lady at the register. I tried getting her attention 1 more time to inform that i didn't want onions and was ignored. When I finally got her attention the food was already done so the cookbook had to start over. I watched him wash the sauce off of my chicken cook new rice than tossed my wings back in sauce again I'm assuming to reheat them. End the end it was a 45 minute process, 2 orders had to be redone, my rice was watered down and my chicken was under seasoned and soggy, after being left out so long. If I could give them negative stars I would!!!!

I ordered online yesterday and came in about 15-20 minutes later. When I came in, not only was I not greeted but I was completely ignored. Another person came in, and they took their order skipping over me. Continued to ignore me, and then a short time later a group of about 4 people came. The cashier asked them if they were ready to order and they said not yet. That's when I finally decided to raise my voice and said that I had a pick up order. A couple weeks ago, I ordered delivery and didn't get my food until 2 hours later. Cottage Express on WT Harris is so much better in terms of service. It's a little out of my way, but I'm willing to go for better service. They don't ignore me and they know who I am. So I will be taking a break from Chin Chin for a little bit. Take you and your money where you are celebrated, not tolerated.

I will NEVER GO BACK! The spring roll was tasteless, my crab ragoons were dry as hell and I watched the girl at the counter take the sauce out of a microwavable container. Also the asian girl up front was rude as hell. She threw my change at me. Packed up my to go order, dropped on the low part of the counter on her side and walked away even though she saw me standing there. All so she could run to flirt with a line cook that really seemed to want her to go away so he could do his job. I had to ask the other girl up front working to give me my food. I encourage everyone to go to Best Wok on Sardis. Much better food and service. The entire experience-from the food to the pathetic man hungry chick working the register- was absolute trash. 0 stars.

My wife and I have been ordering from Chin Chin for a while now. We normally order for delivery, and the food is GREAT!!! Honestly the best I've tasted in a Chinese take out place. But, the ladies* over the phone are VERY RUDE!! Also, there has been many times that they forget something in my delivery and I call them back. Their reply is normally; "We'll send it to you" and hang up. When they DO send it back, is like an hour later! That's crazy! And sometimes I don't even get it. They have been small items so I don't call them back. The main thing that they could change is their customer service. It's horrible. It's bad over the phone and in the place. Other than that. I'm satisfied. And I wouldn't let the customer service get in the way of trying this place out.

TERRIBLE. I recommend you guys to not eat here. Don't waste your money .. they gave me 3 wings when its supposed to be 4 according to their website... 3 days ago I ordered the same exact meal and they gave me 4 wings like their website says. So why am I getting 3 wings all of a sudden ? When I paid for 4. This is the worse restaurant ever. Every time I order from here I get the same thing and everytime the sizes are different I definitely should not be paying 10 dollars for a small bowel stuffing the rice and chicken together the size is usually rectangle to go box but this time it’s small like it was the time before . I placed an order for a combo the young lady asked me if I wanted a veggie egg role or pork. I said veggie because I can’t eat pork. I took a few bites and realized it was pork. I called to complain because eating it could make me sick. They lady asked me if the bag that the egg roll was in had a V on it. I told her no it didn’t. But the order receipt clearly shows veggie egg roll. The point is that whomever fills the order needs to learn how to read and pay attention. This has happened to me twice at this location. I will not be going back!

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! My friend and I ordered delivery received the food, ate out lunch and an hour later were both violently vomiting. I called the restaurant, explained to them the situation and was told "I could bring the food back. But since we had eaten the food there was nothing they could do. Unless I could go to the doctor and be diagnosed with food poisoning, otherwise there was nothing they could do." I wasn't looking for my money back, but just to tell them they're food is TOXIC.

They only got one star because the meal was actually decent. However the lady was so rude and questioning me about what I was ordering as if I should get the typical Chinese cuisine. They need to work on their customer service skills. Kids were also playing racquet ball in the business. This is a place of business not a playground. Also she gave me “home made sweet tea” in a plastic container that was meant for soup. They can’t even afford cups. This is the trashiest restaurant I’ve ever been too.

This place USED to be decent, but over the years has fallen off badly. They used to be ad good as new york chinese takeout. Rice is bland, general tso chicken is not good. They wanted $13 for 4 whole chicken wings. $13 for 4 wings? I'll stick with Chen fu, it may cost more but the flavor is always on point. I miss hood chinese takeout. Charlotte sucks

Been coming here for decades. Order has usually always been right. Been a safe bet for me since I was like 8. I’m nearly 30. But in the last few months there’s been a huge dip in quality. As well as portions. Tried this new place up the street called Cottage Express. Much happier. Better food even. Sad to part though.

I use to eat here faithfully. They are good! However my last order ( a couple months ago) really turned me off. I ordered shrimp and broccoli and found a black fine hair in my rice. . It truly sucks and I can't bring myself to eat here again. I'm giving it a 3 star because of my past experiences. Hair nets are very important and should be on at all times in the kitchen. I'm so sad I can't stomach eating here anymore.

Terrible! The shrimp fried rice. Omg. It had no egg or any vegetables, not even a piece of onion. So basically it was brown with a couple of shrimp in it. The shrimp egg roll had 1 shrimp. And the shrimp egg fo young was so flat I could almost see through it. I moved to another part of town and use to frequent this location when I lived in the area. Needless to say when I got home I was stuck with 27.00 worth of disappointment

The cleanliness of this take out place is amazing!! The food is very good. My vegetables are always very fresh and not soft or over cooked like some of Chinese resturants. The prices are very affordable, which is always a plus The staff are not super nice, but I believe it's more of a cultural difference than a disrespect thing. My food is always hot, delicious, affordable and prompt; so it doesn't bother me too much.

How do you mess up fried rice? The rice is nasty somehow, the vegetables were cooked so fast some of it still looked frozen but were charred and hard. Wings AND lo mein look smell and taste bad. Had to drive home with the windows open smh to make matters worse everything is over priced.

When the food came nothing marked, I called them back and they said one is extra spicy, I asled which one they gave me a Duhhhhhh. The only item i order all the time so far is the rib tips and beef frie rice. Its very good and on point cuz other spots sauce be sweet. Its the way i like it back in newyork. Havent had a problem with the chicks but i been there in person and can understand why the comment from a person who said they rude over the phone. They young and may lack just a bit of reminder to remain courteous

When I called, immediately I was attacked with attitude. The lady answered briefly and didn't keep it professional. She then caught an attitude with me because I got the address wrong and said "do you want to call back when you get the address right?" I just agreed and hung up because I honestly didn't even want to be on the phone with her anymore. The service is so unprofessional.

I'm from N.Y. 1960s Chinatowns food. Nowadays the food is prepared for Americans' bland tastebuds. In those days the yellow hot mustard burned our tongues and sinuses. Now the mustard is far from hot and spicy. Chin Chin food is ok. I just hate the loss of nicely spiced Chinese food.

When ordering be very explicit .I requested no onions period, but my shrimp fried rice had mo re onion than shrimp. I found a total of 1 shrimp after they replaced my original order. I placed my order online. So maybe they didn't get the extra instructions? Benefit of doubt.

They are so good it’s hard to find good Chinese the agrees with your stomach. They are top tier I recommend the homemade drinks especially the lemonade they give it to you in the huge container with a lid so I don’t mind the prices cause you definitely get your moneys worth.

It was just okay, ordered Shrimp fried rice with honey wings.. Wings tasted old and flavorless.. rice had 4 shrimps on the side.. yes 4 small shrimps.. and very small portion.. Not ordering from here again.. ice tea good sweet but good i added some water and lemon slices..

They do not honor the prices posted on several websites. They can’t fix the issue and they don’t put the menus online. Kitchen worker blew his nose didn’t wash his hands and moved the garbage can within 1 min and continued to prep.

This place was excellent. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the shrimp la mien I ordered for about $10. It was cooked perfect and they have a heavy proportion. I ordered it in 10 min advanced and they had it ready in 7 minutes.

Clean oil!! Yup fresh clean oil in the fryer. After 3 visits we have concluded that they have the best and cleanest fried food around. NYer here, they have awesome eggrolls! Red pork and tons of cabbage!!! They deliver too!!
