"DO NOT EVER, EVER, EVER EVERRRRRR ORDER NOR EAT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! The food took over an hour to be delivered, and I was 5 minutes up the street"
Customer service is great on entrance. Thought I called and ordered and the guy told me that everything was included in the lunch special then then told me no drink, no egg roll and no shrimp rice. Only meat, white rice or pork rice. Then I pick up my food. And customer service was great. Though I look at my rice and there was only 4 shrimp in it. The lady with the customer service skills got the cooks to get me more but they only gave me 4 more which means their shrimp is 12cents a piece. Because I did get up charged a 1 for shrimp rice.

Was staying at the Sheraton for a conference and it was an extremely cold Sunday. Not wanting to go out or order room service (Sheraton is just too pricey ) I decided to call for a delivery from this restaurant. They are quite affordable and the portions could be split between two people quite comfortably. I order steamed dumplings and these were the biggest I've ever seen plus very tasty. Can't give them 5 stars though because I was told my order was $13 something over the phone but on delivery it was $14 something. On reviewing my bill I realized it's because they forgot to add in the tax. Delivery was earlier than expected also.
Not Mandarin chicken. Had to argue to get a replacement order, although food was hardly touched. Gave us chicken strips but second order was traditionally fried like one expects with Chinese cuisine. The second order was General Tsao's and one thousand times better. Refused to return again, so we had to go the the store to resolve the issue. Being it's our first time ordering, we'll probably give it one more chance, now knowing to avoid the Mandarin and hopefully it will be less hassle. Overall not the best experience, but could have been dramatically better if the customer service could handle complaints with grace. 4/10
Love this place, I order from here quite often, at least once a week. Sometimes up to four times a week. Price is very reasonable of course like all Chinese large portions. Service is very quick 10 to 15 minutes on Telephone orders. And of course it matters of how many orders they have ahead of yours. The staff crew which I take it it's mostly family, has always been very polite. I have been enjoying the egg-fo-young are the rice noodle dish, can' remember what it is called. Everything I've ate there I've enjoyed or else I wouldn't be going back over and over. I recommend this place on a high level of 5 * as a 4 1/2 *
DO NOT EVER, EVER, EVER EVERRRRRR ORDER NOR EAT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! The food took over an hour to be delivered, and I was 5 minutes up the street. The driver went to the wrong place to deliver after instructions were clearly given at least four times!! then to boot, the food was COLD when it finally arrived. The rice was plain with a splash of soy sauce, a few green onions, and FOUR whole shrimp!! The chicken was COLD AND SALTY AS HELL!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! AND ON TOP THAT, THE WORKERS WERE RUDE OVER THE PHONE BEHIND MY MONEY!!!! WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME, AND A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT!!
I rated this establishment a 5- Star because of its outstanding customer service and also the food is allways "Hot & Fresh" to go orders! Minimum waiting time after placing a walk in order is "10 - Minutes" or less! The Shrimp LoMein with Shrimp fried rice is what I love to order with "Crab Roo Tongs" is delicious to ones stomach! This establishment is by far is the best "Chinese Food" to go on the eastbank ! I highly recommend all my followers and family and friends to patronize this mom & pops locating, patronize your local restaurant!
The wonton soup is the best of all uptown Chinese takeout. $3.50 for a qt. Meat pies were perfect, minced and flavorful meat inside the dumplings and pie. Super fast delivery. I got two quarts of wonton soup, 2 meat pies and a shrimp egg roll for ten bucks. Each soup had about 8-10 large dumplings, full of meat. Their online ordering system is also the easiest I've used. I order a lot from Hoshun, Red Star, Five Happiness, etc...I did not think this hole in the wall would measure up but I was delightfully wrong.
Three strikes and your out the owner who works the cash register is rude with a very nasty attitude a customer a head of me suppose to have sauce on side her meal was covered with it they left i left next a customer asked to use the restroom she refused no only she refused but did in a very nasty way I left with them also third incident happened yesterday walked in on her going in on a customer i politely turned around and left more that's it i get it don't go back!!
Would have given 5 stars for the food, but the delivery drivers are EXTREMELY rude...When ordering online it gives you the option to leave tip in increments of 10% or more from your card. When they come to deliver, they literally wait for you and ask for tip. I and many of my coworkers that order here from work and home have experienced this, Why give us the option to leave online if you will just ask for it and the snatch and slam doors. Very unprofessional.
Food is great service IS HORRIBLE! Drivers should NOT chase a REGULAR paying customer to the door for a tip when thre is delivery charge ! Delivery charge was not told upon request for delivery(also charged me double delivery fee)! Owner very rude! And food was cold! I have been ordering here for over a year was told in beggining no delivery charge if total was over $20.if you change your fees you sgould adervtise as so and inform your customers before HAND!
Don't let the outside of this place fool you, I passed by this place so many times wondering if it was a hole in the wall or a really good place to eat. It is a great place to eat, a co-worker told me about her experiences there so I tried it out. They have a wonderful food and the prices are great, I'm hesitant to leave the review because I don't want the secret to get out but China Wall is amazing

I always order delivery from here and it is delicious. The sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice is very delicious and good value. Large portion sizes. The lo mein is also delicious. Don’t sleep on the egg rolls too. The mapo tofu didn’t have a lot of numbing flavor unfortunately.

Best I’ve had for take out ever. Huge portions, great taste. We had delivery to our hotel and they arrived in the time they said. Food was hot, brought plenty of utensils, napkins and sauces. We had wings, boneless ribs, wonton soup, pork lomein and pork fried rice. Everything was fabulous. So much leftover we’re having it for breakfast. I cannot say enough about how great the food was. 5 thumbs up for 5 stars
I placed my order literally at 8:54 p.m. and I did not arrive until 10:29. I constantly called the restaurant and they told me," give him 3 more minutes." When he finally did arrive, he had an attitude as if I was bothering him. Then he reached his hand out as if he deserts tip. I walked away and he said," No tip?" So I said," yes, no tip." He walked back to the car and slammed the car door very aggressively. Never again.!
This was my first time ordering from China Wall, and definitely will NOT be my last. The food came quick, was still hot and delicious and not too costly. The shrimp were cleaned. Very reasonable delivery price, which makes you not mind tipping. The only reason I give a 4 and not 5 is because we were missing one of the fortune cookies we ordered. It was only 25 cents but still paid for. *shrugs* I would still recommend!
So i have been a loyal customer here for quite some time. But big suprise.I just have been jipped.i basically got overcharged on my order by 20 dollars. And I called the manager several times but different person each time. And apparently they try telling me I was in the wrong and said I underpaid. I'm over it and will not be giving MY SERVICES HERE EVER AGAIN

I really wish I could give this zero stars. Like wow, first it takes and hour and a half for them to deliver the wrong food!! Then another hour and a half for them to tell me they remaking my order. After I told them I want my money back they threw a fit.. childish people, slow, and disrespectful !!!! Never eating here again. And I'm telling all the tourist that come to my store that I dont recomend you!!!
Ordered General TSO chicken w/ beef fried rice and Happy Family with house lomein paid $38+ tax for beef fried rice with only maybe 2 pieces of beef in it, the gravy/ sauce in the happy family was in jelly form. If you're going to microwave something at least do it until it's fully warmed. I called myself giving them another chance but I see that I'm going to have to cut all tires with this pitiful place.
Food was ok but the fried rice is just white rice covered with color and no seasoning. I've tried their shrimp and broccoli, ribs, and sweet sour chicken. Be prepared for breaded balls of tiny meat. Fast service and they are friendly enough.

It’s the DELIVERY for me. If I’m ever in a rush for AMERIKAN Chinese cuisine - this is my go (Uptown area of New Orleans) On street parking. Rest Room open some-times. Beautiful, professional people here. Show them love & kindness. As we should always and anyways. Don’t be ignorant. Respect for culture/language is necessary. Bless the food & hands that prepare it If you don’t like it, move around.
I went inside restaurant and placed order and after waiting twenty minutes I found out my order was being delivered. I asked them what happen and they just said it's coming. They did not offer a cold drink are an egg roll for all the time I wasted. Rude workers and they just want money and they don't care about customer satisfaction. Last and only time I will spend money where it's not wanted.
Very nice people though they don't speak much English but they have a lot of pictures posted of the food so it makes it easier for you to communicate. If you order the delivery is on time and the food is hot. But you must insist on asking for any condiments such as soy sauce or you may not have none in your package. Food is pretty tasty.

The food is great but they are SUPER PETTY when it comes to the soy sauce They wantedbto charge me 50 per pack after the 3 packs provided and had the audacity to put negative comments about the situation on my receipt.... mentioning i refused to pay.... mind u i am ordering 2 large veggie rice....so lastnight my husband ordered 2 larges and a small.. 3 soy sauce packets is what we recieved
I order from here frequently the driver never gets out the car and always expects a tip never have condiments or napkins in bag I complained to the owner and she nonchalantly just said okay I will no longer be ordering from here again I would rather pay more for better service and the food isn't even all that to begin with if you like ghetto Chinese China Wall is your restaurant ✌
I ordered Shrimp and lobster sauce. I got garlic shrimp sauce and pork rice with a plate of veggies. Not what I ordered. I called back to tell them. She tells me this is the way they make it now and she didn't charge me for the extra plate. As much business as the hotels in the city of New Orleans gives them. We will never order from them again and you shouldn't either.
Make no mistake, this is very much your average, ghetto-type Chinese food. And it's location at a particularly sketchy intersection on Canal street makes pick-up a daunting task. But there's something about their vegetable soup.. delicious! And the overall food quality compared to other similar places is actually pretty good. Friendly, professional service too.
Low price, large portion- pretty standard food Chinese food. Lady there has to put up with tons of bullsh*t all the time due to the location, so please excuse her if she's short with you. $7 will get you like 6 pounds of General Tso Chicken that beats all the other Chinese location on Canal St. Good place over all, location is just sketchy AF. - model human
Trust me when I say is you are accustomed to Chinese Kitchen type of food stick with it. Shrimp fry rice garbage, boneless chicken garbage, egg rolls garbage the price is cheaper for a reason and they deliver garbage with that being said go somewhere else and spend your money alone with attitudes when you ask for your money back because they serve garbage
The rice was horrible and the fried shrimp was nasty too. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Called to see if I can bring it back, the lady was very nasty and mean. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. The woman on the phone would not even offer to rectify the situation. Poor customer service. Don't waste your time or money
They give you SO MUCH FOOD..! a large lo mein lasts me though four meals and they are the only place in town i've found to include a good vegetable ratio (i love them). Plus the delivery guy is the sweetest- he knows I cant walk very well so makes a point to meet me as close to my door as he can. by far my favorite delivery in town.
My go-to Chinese place. Not many cook the same here in New Orleans. This one does it right. Also usually busy which means alot of ppl here feel the same

Food cold when delivered to hotel across the street. Egg foo gravy sweet and horrible. Parties of egg foo were soggy with little shrimp and skimpy pork in them. Fried rice and parties were soaked in oil. Horrible food. Only ordered as other Chinese restaurant didn't answer phone. Never eat here again!!!

Don't make the mistake of ordering Mandarin Chicken, it's some disgusting fried to death slab of chicken(? Doesn't look like chicken, looks like an over cooked pork cutlet) sliced in huge chunks with no Mandarin sauce whatsoever and nobody seemed to care that it was disgusting and wrong.
Shrimp were not cooked in fried rice and had zero flavor. We requested pork fried rice with second order but got shrimp fried rice for a person with a seafood allergy which meant we had to drive back to change.

Apparently "Chinese mixed vegetables" means just straight cabbage in brown sauce. Had to repurpose and recook my order with what I had in my kitchen because they wouldn't refund or redeliver me anything. Terrible service, rude, and zero recovery effort.

Visiting New Orleans, craved some Chinese.....OMG, it was delicious. Honestly, the best fried dumplings I have ever had. Crab Ragoo was awesome, chicken with vegtables, so flavorful. Door Dash had it here in record time, hot and delicious.
This is a very basic menu Chinese fast food . they give you what you pay for and their plates r BIG!. More portions of food and cooked with good spice. Cheap delivery I recommend. They r actually cheaper then then Chinese restaurant …
Anytime I'm in New Orleans and want take-out Chinese, I go to China Wall. I have been there at least 15 times and have never had my order come out wrong, never had a long wait, it's always clean and the employees are very friendly.

I ordered the sweet & spicy hot shrimp with shrimp fried rice on oct.16tt 2020 the food was really good butttt.pls put more shrimp and your dishes pls I rarely had shrimp in my meal thk you China wall I'm still your customer
Food was delivered quickly, hot, and wasn’t too expensive but it just doesn’t taste that great. I’ve ordered delivery a few times and it’s an okay value for the fact that they deliver but like I said food isn’t that great.
The half fried chicken was dry and not seasoned. The shrimp was horrible, it was the frozen breaded kind Plus it was hard. I ate the fries and threw the shrimp and fried chicken in the trash. What a waste of money.
Ordered the chicken wings with shrimp fried rice and the Honey Chicken combo plate. Both plates were delicious and running over with food. Had I known it would be that much food we could have just ordered 1plate.
One of the best Chinese places I’ve ever had. I’m glad I gave it a try. Huge portions and really cheap. We got 10 crab rangoons, general tso with pork fried rice and 2 egg rolls for $17 with delivery charge

Food is good, portions are large. Only 1 star bc I NEVER receive everything that is ordered. Usually it's extra fortune cookies or sweet and sour sauce, but if I pay for it I should get it.
Food is really good. They deliver which is really good. What else is there to say. Oh the place is in the hood, but so what. Park on S. Claiborne Avenue and not in the back at night time.
Waited 3 hours for delivery and I ordered the sweet and sour chicken but they brought no sweet and sour sauce so I'm not even going to eat it. Never ever ordering from here again. Awful.
Poor customer service and my order was not correct I had repeated my order twice and the lady still got it wrong. Also my friend order was wrong as well do not Order from these people
Solid choice for Chinese food. I'm happy I found this place. Had the General Tso's Chickem lunch special with shrimp fried rice. Definitely going back to try more menu items.
Ordered delivery lunch special on website. Delivered in 15-20 minutes! Quickest delivery I’ve had in this city. Large portions, friendly service, and good food! Very happy!

Fast friendly service. A large selection on the lunch menu. Great value in portion size and most importantly, delicious !! I highly recommend China Wall
I love their food especially their Kung poa chicken. Their steamed dumplings are fantastic and the crab Rangoon are to die for. I could go on and on.
They did not send one of my orders and completely ruined dinner for my family. Not a reliable place to order from. I do not recommend them at all.
Cheap Chinese food. Nothing special about it. The Chinese food in your local mall food court is better. But for about $10 you get a large portion.

Typical American themed “Chinese” food. Portion sizes are great for the price and food comes out fresh and pretty fast.
Fast, inexpensive and generous portions. We pick up take out here every other week and it's always delicious …
Food large plates got to have more food on it but the food its alright tho I wish just put more food on the plates

Food was delicious, Lots of chicken on my lunch combo 2 meat plate... on time delivery!! Best
Wonderful fast service. Great service. Shrimp and Lobster sauce is a must have menu item.
Awful..The food had no taste. The shrimp fried rice had a few raw shrimp and rice only.
Kinda mad about the curry shrimp I had three jumbo shrimp and a plate full of veggies
the food here is very good you get very large portions and the prices are cheap
