Our first time at Chop and it was everything we hoped for and more, simply fantastic. The service was amazing, Rheanne was a top notch server, friendly, knowledgeable, and did all she could to make our 20th Anniversary meal and experience at Chop the best possible. We will request a table in her section every time we go back to Chop, thanks again for doing a tremendous job, and your hospitality. Thanks to Ryland as well for stopping by to say hi and wish us a Happy Anniversary, he's doing a great job there too. The food was great, I had the oven roasted chicken and it was the best I've ever had. The desserts were amazing, especially our pineapple upside down cake (which was a nice gift for our Anniversary, thanks again), and there are so many amazing menu options, comfortable seating and chill atmosphere, and as mentioned the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our experience at Chop, highly recommend it to anyone looking for high quality food, service that is unmatched, and a terrific, welcoming, comfortable restaurant.

We tried chop steakhouse for the first time in celebration of our anniversary. It was a saturday night. We were welcomed nicely, our server Graham was great, so friendly, and knowledgeable with the menu. We were given complimentary mini appetizer because it’s our first time visiting and the taste is good, light. We ordered ahi tuna tataki (our fave appetizer) and fall salad (very good). Both dishes came out quickly. Our mains prime rib and rib eye steak both medium rare are cooked to our liking and the flavours were balanced. Not overpowering, nor bland. Lastly, Graham handed us a card signed by diff employees to greet us for our anniversary which we really appreciated. We were offered champagnes too but we do not drink alcohol so they just gave our mini creme brulee for free. Overall, it was a great experience. From food to great service as compared to other steak places we’ve been before. I highly recommend this place!

Chop Steakhouse is one of the more expensive restaurants in the city. The quality of food was good. The ambience of the restaurant and lounge is very comfortable and relaxing. The Prime Rib was smaller than expected for the "large" portion but was cooked to perfection and the sides were prepared to create a delightful complement to the main dishes. However, as I mentioned earlier, the prices are above average for a steakhouse. So, while the food might be great, it is not the most affordable option. Overall, if you are looking for a fancy steakhouse to indulge in a delicious meal and don't mind spending 150$+ per person for the occasion, Chop Steakhouse is an excellent choice. But if you are looking for a more affordable night out, you may want to consider other options.

I have to say first of all the staff is always very nice and making their customer's welcome and cleanliness is clearly top priority . We enjoy the food , drinks, atmosphere and staff ESPECIALLY our favorite waitress, Catherine ! She is always so friendly and you know it's the genuine kind fun person she is because she remembers the conversation we have shared from last visit no matter how much time in between. Our steak is always cooked to perfection. The menu has a wide variety and the wine is fabulous. Definitely one of our top places to go for just Dinner or appetizers and drinks.

First time going here for my girlfriend and I, we were celebrating our anniversary and were welcomed so kindly. When we were seated they presented us with a complimentary guest appetizer sort of a savoury creme brulee style dip (very delicious) I must give huge thanks to our server Quinn, definitely made the experience first class all the way, even threw in a complimentary dessert for us followed by an anniversary card signed by the staff! I usually go to the keg for special outings but this place far exceeded all of our expectations, and is officially our new spot for such occasions!

This was our first visit to Chop. I had looked through several of the reviews ahead of time and wasn't sure due to some of the mixed reviews. Long story short, my wife and I are very picky about how our prime rib is done. Not only was the prime rib done to perfection and taste but the rest of the meal also followed suit. Our server for our first visit was Vasyl and I must say it was nothing but professionalism knowledge and very friendly interactions with him. We have not one single complaint from the moment we walked in the door to the time we left. Interactions with the other staff members were equally good we will definitely come back here again. I wish I could give it more than five stars. Great job to the entire team keep doing exactly what you're doing.

We went as a group of 10 with some children in their private room. Food tasted great, service was awesome. With a bill of almost $700 this is what you expect. THANKS for making out Christmas dinner amazing. Wasn't the 1st time and won't be the last there.

Went here for our Anniversary, it was our first time there. They gave us an amazing experience and we're friendly and made it even more special. Definitely will go again. The food was amazing the steak bites are too die for. They gave us a happy anniversary card and even a free desert. I love the atmosphere and the service was by far the best I've experienced.

I ordered last night for me and hubby the honky beef ribs from Montana. Was so disappointed, burnt food, and I paid 130.00 . Tonight I thought well since we didn’t even eat our food last night, let’s order our prime rib that we usually do. Two big prime ribs, and two desserts. Cost me 150.00. So only $20 more , but let me tell you. We could not ummmand hmmm. The food was delicious. Meat was so soft, potatoes was delicious and the vegetables so fresh and tasty. CHOPS thank you, you guys are awesome.

Food was amazing the appetizers were my favourite I we ordered the mushroom goat chees dip and the corn with garlic aioli bot amazing I also have the tofu steak which was good and my husband had the smoked rib eye and loved it the service was amazing they were all so sweet had a great time dessert was so yummy pineapple upside down cake definitely recommend

This is a place that values customer service. My husband and I went to Chop in Winnipeg for our anniversary using a gift card. When the gift card wasn't working, the General Manager Mike went above and beyond to help us with the issue. In an age where customer service seems to be a thing of the past, that was not so at Chop! We were so impressed, we will definitely will be returning, as the food was delicious, and such great customer service!

We went there for our anniversary and had not been there since before the pandemic. The service was very warm and efficient. The food was excellent quality and well presented. They gave us a cute card and a free dessert at the end of our meal. We will be going back as soon as we can!

Dave was one of the best servers I've had at a fine dining restaurant in a long time.. I also enjoyed the conversation with Michael, the manager, and I'm looking forward to hitting up the new patio design that they're working on. This place always keeps on surprising me.
