This review has been a long time coming. If you read nothing else. read this - I can think of no superlative adequate to describe the excellent service that I received at Chris Lewis Jewellers, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for jewellery - especially custom jewellery. I first met Emil at Chris Lewis Jewellers while I was doing research to create my then girlfriend's engagement ring. My research had to be done, as I was really looking for a custom job. I was after an emerald, and not being much into jewellery, I didn't know too much. Emil proved to be a great help, and gave me excellent advice on what to look for in an emerald. When I finally decided that I'd proceed with him and Chris (who works out back to actually make the ring), he kept the overall cost of the ring within my allocated budget - a very important and valuable thing. Not only that, but my own design for the setting of the emerald was used to create the engagement ring. To say it was a smash hit was an understatement. My (now) wife thought we were still a few months away, and was stunned by the ring's beauty (and that it was on her finger!). Of course, with a wedding to plan, we also had to decide on a jeweller for our rings, and it was an easy choice. We went to Chris and Emil. We were guided through the entire process by Emil. We had a few meetings which were very comfortable and pleasant, and included a few fittings to ensure especially that my wife's wedding band fit the engagement ring properly. The end result, as you can see in the photos, are two truly beautiful rings, which fit us and our characters perfectly. Throughout it all, Emil was incredibly easy to work with. Highly personable and always ready to listen for an idea, I cannot speak highly enough of his work front of house. As for Chris, his craftsmanship is a wonder. I still admire the engagement ring, and my wife still gets many compliments for it. If you are considering Chris Lewis Jewellers, I highly recommend them. You will not only be supporting a local small business (something I think we should do much more of), but you will be served by a master craftsmen in Chris who produces excellent jewellery. With Emil, your input is valued and heard, and incorporated into Chris' work. Communication is never a problem, and for a complete jewellery scrub like myself, it made the entire experience both a pleasure and an honour. Thank you Emil and Chris for our rings. LOOK NO FURTHER!! Stupidly I closed a sliding door on my hand and managed to completely squash my engagement ring and break it in three places. When searching for a jeweller to repair my ring a good friend of mine recommended I visit Chris. My fiancé and I decided to take the opportunity to get our wedding rings made at the same time also. Emil (who runs the front of house) was an amazing communicator and fully scoped out what we wanted and acted as the conduit between us and Chris to ensure our needs were met. Chris is an incredible craftsman, I now have a new appreciation for Master Jewellers and the skill involved in designing, crafting and refining custom jewellery. Fitting a wedding band alongside my engagement ring wasn’t straight forward, particularly as I wanted two bands, one on each side of the ring. Chris mocked up sterling silver prototypes so I could try them on with my engagement ring before going ahead final design. The final result was remarkable. The rings are incredible. I cannot speak more highly of Chris and his team and would not hesitate recommending them to anyone.

--Update 5NOV2021 I returned again to enquire about custom jewellery; the process was incredibly smooth. I was offered a wide selection of options for a pendant and was shown the colour and weight differences between the different carats. I was given a selection of price options and at no point did I feel pressured to take the higher carat. There was a wait time however as soon as it was ready I was notified promptly via text. -- I went in originally to get a watch battery changed; I didn't realise I was going to find a jeweller with a good mix of jewellery let alone such reasonable prices. The staff are all very helpful and not pushy, you can even watch Chris crafting rings through a window into his workshop. I now always start my jewellery shopping here; I know that if they don't have it on display they will phone their suppliers to find what I'm looking for or offer to craft it from scratch.

I’ve been to this store a couple of times and was recommended by a friend and let me say - Emil is very knowledgeable when it comes to anything to do with jewellery. Any questions I have had, have been answered with ease and detail. The shop is well equipped to deal with any type of 'jeweller' needs from changing a simple battery to custom made jewellery. The customer service is by far amazing. Emil who has serving me a couple of times, has been nothing but cheery, helpful, kind and always brings a smile. Every time have been to the great shop inside the plaza it has always been super clean and organised. There is never any dust or furniture that is damaged. In the end, every time I have visited the store for some type of work, I have been pleased with the customer service dedicated to me and guidance when choosing the perfect piece of jewellery.

Chris and Emil delivered outstanding and professional service in helping me find an engagement ring. As a bloke who doesn't know much about jewellery but did approach the process with a few themes and ideas in mind, I felt they were very accommodating to ensure a fully tailored product, and the advice I got helped me make the right decisions during the design and planning stage. They worked closely with me during many back and forths and questions to find a ring design and a stone that was perfect for my partner. The end result - a thrilled new fiancee with a stunning new ring! :) I highly recommended them for the customer service and craftsmanship.

We cannot fault the service and incredible craftsmanship of Chris and Emil. My fiance and I gave the guys some ideas of what we were wanting for my engagement ring and to have the Irish influence in it. We wanted something unique and an airloom to pass down to our children in the future. I was completely blown away with the end result! I can't stop looking at it and all its beautiful features at its different angles. We've had so many comments from friends and family. These guys care about your personal possessions. I had an old ring of my mothers transformed into a beautiful new ring for my wife. They used the old gold and diamond which is sentimental to me and did a fabulous job. They showed me the process of the job along the way which was great because you get an understanding in what is involved in their skill. I didnt want a cheap job anyone can do that, and that was shown in the end product. Thanks guys. PS my wife loves it and now ive got brownie points galore :)

a pearl popped off my fabulous Tahitian ring. I sent it to Chris Lewis Jewellers, and am so glad I did. The customer service was better than I have received anywhere, and my ring was fixed and sent back very quickly. They even picked up and fixed a couple of other nasty things that had happened when the Moorean jeweller up sized it. Thank you Emil, Thank you Chris.

A visit to Chris Lewis Jewellers is always a very happy experience. One sees quality product variation at a reasonable price and the service is “tops”. A friendly and attractive atmosphere greets everyone who walks in the door and, let’s face it, we all need a ‘lift’ to our day. Here is a very pretty one and it’s free to walk in the door!

I came to get a ring for my partner as a gift. It was the first time I was buying proper jewellery and I received great help, tips and services from Emil there. Upon receiving the ring, we discovered an issue and they did everything they could to help us and it worked. I have to say a big thank you to them all. 10/10 would recommend it.

Chris Lewis Jewellers are fantastic. I have had several pieces designed and made here and they are beyond exquisite. Hence why I keep coming back.
