GLUTEN FREE CHICKEN DISHES, PAST AND RISOTTO! I attended The Cher Show on Tuesday evening. I had messaged in the day, to see if they offered a gluten free option for anything on the menu. I ended up calling and they confirmed; the chicken dishes, pasta and risotto is gluten free. They managed to book us in within 30-40 mins of our arrival time. The vibe in the restaurant was great, energetic and friendly. The bar staff were really helpful. I asked on the food wait time and they asked if we were attending a show, we said yes and they confirmed our food would be out in plenty of time. We arrived around 6:35-6:40pm. By approx. 6:50-6:55, we had our food. It was incredibly tasty! I wasn’t sure due to the time it took to come out, but it was 2 pizzas and a pasta dish, so the pizza’s wouldn’t have taken long in a pizza oven anyways. It was authentic Italian, great value for money and the wait staff were efficient and on time with everything. My only complaint was the time it took to get a reply to my query (3:45pm) and I got a reply at (10:25pm), even though I called in between, that there is no indication of gluten free options online or on their social media and the fact there was no Pepsi max, only Pepsi or Diet Pepsi. Still, it wasn’t enough to ruin our experience and I will definitely be back when we next see a show next! They also offer 10% off pasta, pizza and risotto with tickets to certain venues. Absolutely worth the visit and our new fave place to go when we go to watch a show first

Ciao Amici is the liveliest restaurant in Bristol. Such a warm welcome as you enter the restaurant. We had a party of six adults and two children (high chairs required) the whole venue was packed and due to our late arrival (we did phone ahead) our original reservation table on the ground floor had to be given to other patrons. As such we were offered a large table up a small flight of stairs. The waiting team assisted and we all got settled easily. The ambiance was great, buzzing with happy customers. Always a good sign. Drinks were ordered and arrived instantly. The manager then asked as the group downstairs had finished if we would like to relocate. But we were happy and extremely comfortable. We ordered kids food first (always a good idea-keeps them busy ) Then after perusing the extensive menu we ordered. The food was tasty, hot, delicious and plentiful. Ciao Amici was undoubtedly one of our highlights of our trip. When next in Bristol we will be making another reservation. Ottimo cibo. Grande squadra. Luogo meraviglioso.

Great place! 5 stars. The two of us just walked in one Saturday, ( FA cup), afternoon. Didn't book. The place was packed, including families, which is a good sign? They managed to find us a table. Staff were obviously very busy but efficient and friendly. We didn't wait long for the food to arrive either. And when it did it was pretty good! A pizza and spaghetti meatballs. Very impressed with the place! Especially the reasonable prices. £10 to £11 for a pizza literally just off the city center? Struggle to get a take away for that! Great value. No wonder it was so busy? Beers are bit pricey but they have to make money somewhere? And cheaper beers might bring in wrong crowd?

We had the pleasure of visiting on a very historic Saturday night and thank goodness we had booked! Great food, great service, not overly extortionate pricing for quality food, we all thoroughly enjoyed! The venue was really busy with an office party group with one member of the office staff obviously drunk and behaving totally inappropriately which was awkward for other customers (foul language, aggressive behaviour and obviously trying to pick a fight with a colleague) but the restaurant staff were professional throughout and enjoyed a bit of banter with our table to try to lift the mood a little! Thanks guys for a lovely evening!

Such a great place right in the centre of the Bristol. Definitely recommend booking a table in advance, but if you don’t mind waiting, the tables clear up pretty fast. We (a group of 3) didn’t book a table for dinner but were seated within 10 minutes of waiting which was great. We ordered two pizzas, a pasta, a bottle of white wine, and two lattes. These all came out within 15 minutes which we were all surprised by - quickest service ever. The food was delicious and all the servers were very friendly and welcoming. Ended up spending around £22 each which was great value for what we got in return.

Eaten here a few times over the years and never been disappointed. Great food, reasonable prices and really considerate service. They'll do their best to get your food prepared quickly if you need to make a show, and last time we went they even held onto our doggy bag for us to collect after the show we were seeing. Had an extremely nice meal today. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic they have a very nice selection of pizza's and you can have it as a calzone which is lovely, they bring you garlic and chilli oil to spread over your pizza which adds that extra bit for some people.. They also very a nice selection of pasta. The menu is super fancy so there will be something on the menu you like. It's very well priced and if you have just been to see a show they offer 10% discount at the moment so it's even better The restaurant wasn't too busy when we went but did pickup after the last showing was kicked out. Will defo eat at another ciao again.

Absolutely pure gold. The food here is to die for and is such good value for its money. The staff are lgbt friendly and tend to our needs well! To begin with? Their garlic bread is most definitely to share between two, don’t be fooled by it’s cost. Their Pollo range is incredible and I have to recommend them all, I can’t decide which is my favourite. The wine is nice and crisp, perfect paired with the chicken! As if it couldn’t get any better the dessert is amazing! My new favourite restaurant and I can’t wait to try more from them!

My friends and I had a great experience at the restaurant and we all thought the food was great, especially the Calamari Fritti and Penne Amatriciana dishes. Besides, the restaurant staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. The food was served quickly and we were each given a chocolate bar at the checkout. At the end of the checkout, we had some problems, and the staff was very patient to help us out. Dining is highly recommended, you will have a great dining experience here!

We've been coming here for years. Have always had an excellent meal. On our last visit, it was packed, but despite this the service was excellent, the food was superb and hot. My wife is in a wheelchair, but this is no problem. We were assisted in and out of the restaurant, even helped over the kerb outside of the restaurant. We will be back again and again. Thank you Leo and Elvis and all the staff. How the guys in the kitchen consistently produce excellent food is to be applauded!

Exceptional food, great portions. I personally loved the Carne Calzone and my Grandfather enjoyed the Tagliatelle Fruitti de mare, which smelled great. Friendly staff, greeted at the door warmly with a firm handshake. Jovial staff, always smiling. A nice calm location with great access to the amenities of Bristol. I would absolutely recommend going here, I myself plan to bring my next date here.

First time I have been here and it won't be the last. Excellent menu and reasonably priced which is unusual these days. Garlic mozzarella pizza bread was the best I have ever had! We booked our table for 5.30 on a Saturday and it was absolutely buzzing. Great place who were very welcoming and accommodating us as walk-ins on a busy Friday night! Staff were lovely and friendly, really made us feel valued customers, had a family run vibe. We went here before going to the hippodrome. The staff were all really friendly and happy. Really good service. Food was fantastic. I had chicken in mushroom sauce and it was cooked to perfection. The others said the pasta and pizzas were great. The price was good I thought. And you can see the back of the hippodrome from your seat. I have a disability and so access was at the back of the hippodrome, literally you cross the road. The main entrance is a minutes walk round. Ideal location I would highly recommend this restaurant

We visited Ciao on 28/12 before taking our Granddaughter to panto at the Hippodrome. It's a couple of minutes walk to there from Ciao You also get 10% off your bill if you are going to the theatre. This is a real gem of a place in Denmark Street. Family owned and run. The Italian food is superb and they boast a varied and tasty menu Children are made very welcome the Staff are very friendly and know their stuff. Wouldn't go anywhere else before the theatre

Reminded me of the best restaurants I’ve been in Rome. Our little trip to Bristol was already worth it after visiting such a nice restaurant!

Pizzarova was rammed. Found this place by accident and it was 5/5. Very attentive staff, authentic Italian pizza and of course it was bellissimo! Ticks all the boxes and leaves you full AND with a takeaway box! Grazie

Good place for gathering! There are many choices in the menu but the pizza is not as surprising as the online comments/ reviews said. The meatball and spaghetti are a little bit too salty. More
