This has to be one of the worst Circle K's in Jacksonville. They seem to always be having trouble with the pumps, they wont accept your cards and you have to go inside. When you do get in, way too often, their card system is broke and you can't use credit / debit cards. They have been found to have skimmers on their pumps too in the past I believe also. The place always seems to be dirty and dingy. You go into one of the many other gas stations around, even the shell right down the road and it's very clean and they take pride in their place, this one, not so much. To be honest, I am surprised Circle K Corporate has not gotten on them about this already, HQ's tend to be real sticklers about public image and their brand names. Half the times the food is out, if you are trying to grab a snack in the morning on the way to work or heading out fishing, you'll probably find the freezers empty, the roller food empty. They have a kitchen but more times than not it's 'just opening' and no food is ready yet. It just seems very poorly managed to me, like the manager is there to make a buck and that's all, they know they have a captive audience, because I-10 is right there, and don't have to worry. I've worked at stations like this in my past, so know exactly this type of mindset. On a positive note though, the cashiers always try their hardest to be polite with you. Ive seen many other people in there complaining about the exact same things I just described and really taking it out on the cashiers, when it is not their fault, and they just smile and keep being polite, so a big thumbs up for the poor people who have to deal with this because of conditions here. Save yourself the aggravation of all of this and just goto another station. There are plenty right in this area, or a mile or so down the road east.
I bypassed the big store to go to this circle k because it was a smaller store. And because in the past it honored a sign in the store that I think was expired, although the last time they refused to honor it even though they still hadn't taken down the sign. As many times as I pointed it out to them, you think they could take down the sign. I handed the clerk my money and asked for her to scan my coupon which is only good for a certain length of time. She claimed to not hear me but she hadn't put the $60 in the drawer so I said re-ring it, she refused, I said then just give my $60 back, she still refused, put the $60 in the drawer and closed it which she then had to reopen to give me back $10. She literally called her supervisor then texted her supervisor and her supervisor called her back just so I could get my $60. This is ridiculous. I just wanted her to scan my coupon which I could only use for a limited amount of time. I guess I can't go back there again and my advice is, I don't know, I guess don't go there if they can't get their act together. What place won't refund cash money that I haven't spent? When they made the mistake? Even if she claims she didn't hear me at first, she hadn't even put the money in the drawer when I told her to scan my coupon. I just don't understand. Some of the people have been really nice there but do I dare go back?
This is the sign on the outside of this circle k went in to get the buy 2 get 1 free and was told that they weren't on sale now. I asked if they were going to honor the advertisement and was told I guess my manager forgot to take those down. I asked again if they were going to honor it and was told there's nothing I can do. I'll never stop here again even though it's convenient for me as I work across the street.
Simple requests… clean something, anything! And have the heavier set white guy in his 20’s to take a bath and stop singing whatever’s in his headphones all the time no one wants to hear it. I stop numerous times a week for convenience but it’s just getting worse each time.
Great place and location But very rude people Specially the morning girl with hairy arms that's why I stop coming I go Across the street to the Other gas station even though is more money but I rather pay More and be treated good.
Young white kid with red kangaroo shirt at about 8pm on 2-18-23. While he was behind the register, I overhead him call a customer a racial slur that started with an N, As my boss is a very nice black man, I was deeply offended.
They can NEVER keep employees @ this store bc upper management don't know how to to treat it's employees or it's customers! They recently started charging for ice even if we bring our own cups the same price for a drink!
Excessively sweet coffees, old and dry pastries, and high prices. Not recommended at all!
Someone here just won the $286 million dollar power ball! So happy for you!
Fuel Island is always nasty and grimy. Fuel pumps work half the time.
Nice clean bathrooms and friendly staff

Not open when it says open smh
