Unfortunately my experience at Citigate has not been good. They were using plastic bags on their equipment for sanitation which was strange as opposed to using new sanitized equipment. They overuse lidocaine to initialize treatment making your entire face numb which seems excessive and their form of treatment has caused me a lot of unnecessary pain and agony. Of course they make you sign a disclaimer for all their procedures and do not follow up on your progress. I had to switch dentists when I didn’t feel comfortable with their know how. Hope they improve but I am done with using them. They also wanted to take my wisdom teeth out for no reason. They seem happy with doing a tooth pull instead of a fix to ‘save me money’ but leave me with gaps in my mouth. Why? seems silly to me and my wisdoms never gave me an issue. Seems like a money grab. They are also very over priced compared to others.

This one is hard to review because the actual dentists and hygienists are great. The dental assistant and admin staff are a complete mess. They repeatedly filed my insurance wrong (they had the wrong number on file due to a typo) for a year so I was out of the submission period, and then I had to pay out of pocket and it was for a bridge so it was quite expensive. Today, the dental assistant kept almost choking me with the suction and resting the full weight of his hand on my mouth. Then not enough time was scheduled for my procedures and someone kept coming in to tell them to hurry up. It was a make up appointment from last April when I showed up and their office was closed when I was supposed to go, and they didn't seem to know exactly what work I needed done. Anyways, the actual work done was great, the hygienists are fantastic, but everything else is a hot mess.

I'm a very nervous and anxious patient so when I went in for my check up after 7, yeah you read that right, years I was petrified. But the staff at Citigate Dental was absolutely amazing! I watched my fav Netflix show while waiting in the Op room. Nelab was amazing with getting me calm for all the x-rays etc. And Dr Avneet Dhaliwal was very attentive and saw my worries and was absolutely wonderful with me. I felt much better after she discussed my treatment plan and what they could do to make the next appointments comfortable and relaxed. I look fwd to going back for my appointments with the best hygienist I hear in town, Roslyn! The lovely ladies at the front managing the office, Rasneet and Sanobar are fabulous too! You are definitely not just a number here at the clinic. They actually care!

Citigate Dental has exceptional service. The team not only works very hard but also provides top notch service. I first went to the clinic to get a cleaning done and the dental hygienist was extremely kind and amazing at her job! I have interacted with both the doctors, and they are both very professional and attentive to detail. Dr. Arora performed my wisdom tooth surgery, and I recovered very quickly with no swelling or pain whatsoever! She is a very compassionate, smart and personable Doctor. Last but not least, it is always a delight interacting with the front desk staff. They have always worked around my schedule, to ensure that I get my appointment at a time that works best for everyone. I am no longer nervous to go to the dentist, thanks to the staff at Citigate :)

Worst experience ever. Especially with the reception! They don't check voicemail or emails. I'm sitting outside after getting an email for my appointment today at 8am. Drove all the way here and magically the receptionist who admitted to sending me the confirmation (and I called and emailed them 48 hours ago) has no appointment for me and my dentist isn't even in today. I've spent a lot of money and they know how much anxiety I have with coming to the dentist. I've been trying to get something fixed that they did MONTHS AGO. I've never written a bad review but this is ridiculous and not once did they apologize or try to make this right. Most unprofessional, unorganized receptionists I have ever experienced. Don't waste your time and money like I did.

I have problems with my teeth , with a concern I visited Citigate Dental at Barrhaven , The dentist who attended me was Dr Razia Arora. She is very professional and she. takes very good care of her patients , marvelous bed side manners , will listen to your concerns , then does the synopsis of your situation and will let you understand your condition , with a lot of concern that you don't loose your teeth her priority will be to save them , takes X-rays and explain you the problems by showing you the X- Rays I had seen other doctors bas well but what an experience with this doctor, I hope any one should try her , what a positive attitude for helping her patients WOW

My last visit didn't go very well. I am doing Invisalign. I went to get my next trays. Waited there just over an hour and did not get in, disappointing. I got the trays at the front desk, so that was a wasted 65 minutes for no reason. They apologized, but it was still a disappointing outcome. I have noticed scheduling appointments has become hard lately too. My dentist only goes there some Wednesdays and Saturdays now, I think 6 days a month. Invisalign requires checkups about every 2 months. This appointment and next appointment were pushed longer due to limited availability and closed the May holiday weekend.

I had an emergency during a tourist trip to Canada (I'm Italian). I stopped by searching on Google, I easily found the place with ample parking in front. I asked at the reception and the staff, with a lot of intelligence and understanding, managed to make an appointment for me after less than 2 hours. I was examined very carefully, with immediate x-rays and a very useful diagnosis and related solution. I also have to thank everyone for their patience with my limited English, because they made sure to understand me and make me understand everything. Great professionals and above all great people.

The dentist pulled my tooth out and I didnt feel anything she was so gentle. All the staff were extremely helpful, polite, friendly and supportive. It was a last minute decision to pull the tooth and they were concerned about my empty tummy. And the dentist made sure each step of the way if I was uncomfortable or hurting put my left hand up and she would do what she had to do to stop the pain or discomfort, but no issues at all she was extremely gentle. Its been a long time since I went to a dentist so I was anxious but I was very pleased with my choice. Thanks Lisa

I really like the dentist but one of the hygienists is enough to either request someone else or change dentist locations. There is friendly and talkative but she is too much. My personal experience had her telling me all about her life and the cleaning took double the time it should. I tried again with my kids and their cleanings took an hour each kid. It was too long and ended with the kids in tears and everyone in a bad mood. It’s too bad because the facility is nice, good location for us and like I said I really like the dentist but not sure I’ll go back

I had my first visit with Dr. Razia Arora for my appointment today and she was incredible. She was very comforting and explained everything in detail to me. She took her time and made sure I felt nothing during my procedure. I highly recommend Citigate Dental to everyone especially if you currently fear or dislike the dentist. I would also like to mention the Receptionists and dental assistant and how they did a great job, were very welcoming and helpful. Very happy with my decision to come here. Making an appointment, filling out new patient forms, and getting up to speed on dental history were simple. Dentist was clear in explaining the procedure, aftercare, and other options for treatment. However, despite advertising their use of nitrous oxide for nervous patients, the dentist seemed taken aback and a little confused by my request to use it for an extraction. The prep was slow despite how simple the procedure was. Assistant didn't seem to know what he was doing. Not outstandingly bad, but won't be going back.

Using my daughter’s account lol we are so happy at Citigate dental, I have always hated going to the dentist but everyone is super nice here from the reception, to hygienist, to the dentists. I have seen two dentists here and they were both excellent! Very sweet not judgmental at all, honest (I find other places will push for other services that are not needed)..I have 3 kids and they were great with them as well, making them have a great experience and they can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend this place!!

Cracked a tooth in half on a Saturday afternoon and I wasn’t sure if I could last until Monday. My regular dentist was closed so I called Citigate as they advertised taking in emergencies. Was in and seeing the dentist within the half hour. I was nervous and anxious over what was going to have to be done. She was thorough, courteous and took the time to explain what I would need to do. She was very nice. Both staff at the front desk were polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this dental office.

Dr Aurora and her team are knowledgeable, professional, warm and friendly. I was anxious about dental surgery and Dr Aurora was patient, kind and reassuring, putting me at ease. She suggested moderate sedation (pill and nitrous). Worked like a charm! I didn’t feel a thing except groggy at the end of it. The procedure went smoothly. I was sent home with post surgery information. I will be returning for an additional surgery only this time without the anxiety that I had felt before. Thank you Dr Aurora.

Booked appointment based on Dr Arora's reviews, but highly disappointed. Not the place if looking for a professionally managed clinic. Hygiene is questionable. Front desk is disengaged and inefficient. Equipment doesn't work. Although Dr. Arora is nice to interact however clinic surely has lot of room for improvement. Cancelled all family appointments, but surely their office sounded cool with that. Learned it hard way with bonus assignment to start search all over again. Overall a bad experience.

I recently had an accident that broke one of my front teeth in half. I immediately called my dental office Citigate in Barrhaven and explained what had happened. I was able to get into see the dentist right away that afternoon to examine the damage and get an X-ray. My dentist there was even willing to stay late on a Friday afternoon to repair my tooth. Luckily I had no pain and I said I’d see her the start of the following week. I would highly recommend Citigate to everyone looking for a clinic.

I had to make an appointment for an emergency root canal. From start to finish, it was a great experience. Janey (office manager) was very accomodating and pleasant to deal with in setting up the appointment and in person. Alex (dental assistant) was friendly, organized, and professional. Dr Arora was thorough, gentle and very knowledgeable. It was reassuring to have her explain everything as she worked and she made sure i knew all options and risks. I will definitely recommend to others.

Truly a great place to visit. ALEX is amazing and my favourite when a dental hygienist. The customer service here is unmatched as far as I have experienced. They have also thought of everything when it comes to offering amazing hospitality; TVs in the ceiling with lots of shows to watch (inc. Netflix), high end coffee machine, tablets for the kids, slippers, etc. I was able to take advantage of the promotional Teeth White “take-home” Kit, it has worked very well

You guys are awesome, so patient and cool minded. I am thankful to you for the way you took care of me and my wife. It is quite spacious dental care situated in the middle of the main Barrhaven market. Parking is no issue. I went there 5 times and not even once my appointment got cancelled or rescheduled. I would say it is one of the well managed dental care in city. My best wishes to staff, I would never consider any other dental care in Ottawa.

My daughters and I have been to a few dentists in the Barrhaven area, and this is by far the best service, best staff dentist in Barrhaven. Dr Arora is a highly experienced and knowledgeable dentist who is personable and takes the time to explain the processes and work that needs to be done. They are great here. Did my sons teeth so fast and they are cheaper then more places. Very clean as well. ALL staff are so nice. My son was shy and scared but after the second time he was all good to go. Take your kids for sure. I will always take my son here. I have had my teeth done here too and she told me every step she did and what she was doing and how much longer it would be. This is the only place I'll ever go too from now on.

Super great service! I had my wisdom teeth extraction done by Dr. Arora twice, both last-minute. The office was great at accommodating me and the reception was always friendly. The extractions went smoothly and healed perfectly, and they were fantastic at helping me stay relaxed throughout. They also checked-up on me in the days following and gave me the chance to get it checked again when I was concerned about swelling.

I've been going to this beautiful, modern and well equipped dental clinic since it opened a year ago. They have excellent care, a fantastic team that treats you like family. I can recommend them unreservedly. The quality of their work and attention to detail is of the highest standard. They are also excellent at working with your insurance company so that you don't have to make any payments if you have full coverage!!

Excellent service! Last week we went for our annual family checkup and cleaning. As usual Dr. Arora our dentist, hygienist Alex and front desk receptionist Lori-Ann were just amazing.They are such thorough professional and perfectionist. To be honest, Citigate Dental has a great service, Dr. Kamal is very nice , the staff are very helpful and welcoming. My dental bridge broke, Dr. Kamal put it back for me with no issues compare to other dentiste they told me I need new one and make me wait for the whole process to get new one. Unfortunately, had to wait a 1/2 hour. However, once I got into my appointment it made up for the wait. The dental hygienist was the best I have had in my 50 years of dental work. Much better than my old dentist. The people there are so friendly and always greet you with a warm welcome. They have TVs on the ceiling with Netflix on them and you can watch shows while they work on your teeth. I’ve never been one to hate the dentist, but if you don’t normally like going, you’ll LOVE this place! 10/10

Best to use this establishments as a back up to your real dentist. If you put your trust in this office you will be disappointed and left with half the job done and excuses to why they can't finish. Takes 2x the trips to get 1 job done if your lucky otherwise youll be left with asking yourself why you ever went there.

I had to switch dentist recently and was nervous as my previous dentist was mine for over 10 years. This place is amazing! The hours are what's best. Weekends is so important to be opened. The receptionist is amazing as well and so are all the other staff members I have had to deal with.

Love going here! I took my toddler for his first checkup earlier this year and they made it so fun for him, even during Covid! Everything is sterilized and clean, and they even have TVs on the ceiling so you can watch your fav show during your cleaning. 10/10 recommend!

I had a very complex extraction. Dr kamal made it very smooth for me. It took two hours almost to get through. This picture shows one wisdom tooth cut into pieces ( it was a big one) and was finally extracted.
