After a handful of years of attending other local churches, all very good in their own way, I knew I needed something different. I happened upon City Life about 4 months ago and it was legitimately an answered prayer. From the moment I walked in, by myself, without knowing anywhere I felt at home. I was approached by several people who not just said good morning but who talked to me, asked about me and did it with such authenticity. A church isn't a place to come polished up and your problems already fixed but to come broken and lay your life and problems at the feet of Jesus. I could feel from the opening song of worship to the message to offering to the last song the love and need of Christ radiating through the space. Irregardless of age, length of belief, knowledge of scripture, etc..., everyone was the same in the presence of Him. I knew day one this was where God wanted me and there was something special at City Life and 4 months later, I feel exactly the same. Whether you are new to faith, looking for answers, looking for a change in a stagnant life or have no idea what you need, come for a worship and service and see if you don't walk out a little different.

The shortest review would be that City Life is a contemporary Bible based Jesus seeking church. But it is so much more than that. This is where my little family has found true church community. This is not a place where you blend into the background and go unnoticed. The people of City Life will genuinely and actively seek to meet you and get to know you. There is a strong focus on children’s ministry and I have seen huge growth in my children and their knowledge about Jesus. The music is modern and the musicians and singers radiate their passion for the Lord through every beat of every song. The message is relevant, honest and straight from God’s Word. A year later this is a home. A place and community that we love and look forward to reuniting with all week long.

In the heart of one of America's greatest cities, you find hope with City Life Center. Hope that we can make a difference. Hope that we can influence the flow of culture at the wellspring. The first weekend after moving to Fort Worth, I decided to attend service at City Life Center. I, and many others, found it through a google search. It's been one and a half years and I am still here. I wake up and I want to go to church. I want to be around people who desperately seek after God's heart, and genuinely care for others. So thankful to call City Life my church home in Fort Worth!

As a new resident in Fort Worth, I was eager to find a church in downtown to not only strengthen my relationship with Christ but also to meet new people and build friendships. City Life has done that and more! Through City Life's refreshing Sunday services, volunteering opportunities, and Social & Growth Connect groups, I feel right at home in Fort Worth!

Being homeless I have walked by this church everyday. So last week I was hungry and thirsty so I stopped by asking for something to eat and drink. And they were so kind and gracias in their giving to me. They even invited me to come back for this Sunday service. I am looking forward to having a great experience.see ya then!

This is one of the most Jesus focused churches I have been to and I love it! They love every single person that walks through their doors regardless of where you’ve been or where you are. This church values the Bible and Christianity, not the “rules” that are associated with religion which is refreshing!

This church has the most authentic people you’d want to know! In our world today it’s hard to fine a safe place to land! This is it, try City Life Center for a few weeks and you’ll find it surprisingly necessary to keep coming back! We love Jesus here and wanting to know more about Him is our coal!
