I tried City South Pizza today after seeing the many positive reviews. Service was good I called they said would be ready in 15 minutes, it took about 25, not a huge deal. The pizza was not great, immediately noticed a strong chemical smell, the only thing I could think was they used a new pan/or coating while cooking the pizza. The outer crust was virtually non existent with sauce right to the edge, very bready and not much taste. The sauce was ok, a little bitter. The cheese and toppings were great, came plenty and tasted good. Maybe I had a one off pie, feel free to try them out and come to your own opinion. Overall the store seemed new and clean, plenty of seating for eat in. I’m still very curious to know what the chemical smell was.

The app gave us a time that the order was ready, but we ended up waiting 14 minutes. The Hawaiin pizza and wings both tasted Indian(which is ok if we ordered Indian food), but NO Hawaiian pizza and mild wings should ever taste like Indian food! It was gross and I can't believe the high ratings this place gets. [How is it 4.8 ???; should be 0.8] ITS OBVIOUS THEY ARE FAKE REVIEWS! I've had very good pizza/wings in my life, and this place wasn't even close...in fact this was one of the worst places ever !!! Nothing was even close to being good other than the potato wedges. They will never get my money ever again, especially since there are so many better options in the Eastgate area. Pizza Bell down the street is way way better!!

Grabbed the large chicken shawarma pizza and my god is that a delightful pizza pie. I've ordered once before and it was great as well, thought I'd give it another go. Best desi style pizza in Hamilton!! I ordered takeout for dinner and the guy at the counter was generous enough to surprise me with a free veggie garlic bread.
