My experience with Dr. Clark has always been extremely pleasant. I've been seeing him since July of 2016 and loved the service so much, I brought my Aunt in to be his patient too. He really takes great care of us. He genuinely listens to our concerns, comes up with solid plans of actions and even if it has to be trial and error, he moves swiftly and attentively. He's very thorough when it comes to procedures and we have a collective goal to reduce the number of if not eliminate completely the meds I'm taking. If I feel I need to make a change, we talk it out and we do it, and he helps me to plan other aspects of life to decrease the need for meds and strengthen my body on my own. He always makes sure we understand the risks of everything even when other doctors have failed to do so and he has phenomenal bedside manner. He is always very professional, friendly and we always have great talks about the marvel movies lolz. Takes Your mind off the shots. I recommend that anyone looking for a kind, attentive, thorough, professional who always goes above and beyond, Dr. Clark is Your Dr for sure! God forbid he ever leaves, I will follow to his next practice.

Dr. Smith was warm and friendly as he has been before. The waiting time was brief. We went over the current situation, discussed diagnostics and that future treatment options would be based on a new MRI. I was told to schedule a follow up in a month. I was shocked because of the level of pain I was in. It’s typically 2 weeks at NYU. He also had no appts. available until April so I would be seeing his PA. I was referred to neurology which has no appts. until next August. While the doctors are great at NYCP, their accessibility is poor. In most other hospitals established patients get priority and if the visit is not routine, appointments are expedited. I think I will have to consider going elsewhere.

Dr. Clark Smith is very thorough, competent, and personable. Even though I had not seen him for a long time, he was very familiar with my issues and knew my entire history with him. He renewed a prescription, sent me for two X-rays, ordered a shot given with video imaging, and scheduled a follow-up appointment. He will help me walk, exercise, move, and sleep without pain. In the past he has referred me for physical therapy and to orthopedics when I needed them. If you go to him, he will make you feel welcome and listen carefully to your complaints and then figure out how to resolve them.

Dr. Smith's impressive medical credentials speak for themselves and that combined with his sincere care and concern for his patients makes him stand out from the rest. He takes time to explain the procedure, both pros and cons, and answers all questions which instantly eliminates any anxiety that you may be feeling. His goal is to relieve the pain that his patients suffer from in a safe and methodical manner with every effort made to start slowly and as invasively as possible. Most people dread going to the doctor but where Dr. Smith is concerned the opposite is true!

I am adding to this review - since I have been with Dr. Smith over the past 2 years. He continues to be totally engaged in helping me deal with back issues. He responds quickly to questions and is very knowledgeable. - prescribing non invasive approaches as well as helping me look into surgical solutions. My issue is a compressed L5 S1 root nerve that causes numbness and pain down my left leg. He administered a second transforaminal epidural injection last June at the excellent Columbia satellite facility at 51st. I am confident in recommending him.

Dr. smith was very clear, thorough and calm. He explained in comprehensible terms his prognosis of my issue and the possible paths for a remedy. He used photographs and anatomical images to illustrate the issues which were very helpful. He also clearly explained the instructions on how I could reach out to him via the portal prior to our next appointment if I had any questions or comments on the daily exercises he had prescribed as my initial treatment. I left the appointment assured that we had a viable path forward on my treatment.

Referred by my Neurologist a recognized expert in his field. Dr. Smith was great. He was a very attentive listener, did not rush you, thorough in his his exams and carefully explaining everything. It was obvious that he was very knowledgeable and current in his knowledge base, Dr. Smith encouraged questions and is very caring snd patient centered . His Center staff are very cordial and helpful. It was obvious that he had carefully read all of my medical information/history shared with him. This was well worth my out of state trip

Dr. Smith's practice deserves 5 stars on every measure. Everyone is prompt, attentive, pleasant, and super-efficient, and that includes Dr. Smith. At the end of a recent appointment I was amazed to realize how thoroughly he had evaluated my problem in a short time without seeming the least bit rushed. When I looked back at notes from an appointment several years ago, I was reassured to see that his judgments on every count had proved to be exactly right. I have great confidence in Dr. Smith and will follow his recommendations.

Dr. Smith is the ultimate doctor for athletes …I am an older person who has been a dancer. and athlete my whole life … He is totally empathic to the need of athletes to return to their sport as soon as possible .. He listened and eased my concerns and gave me confidence that I would recover with time..He did not push unnecessary tests or medication knowing my approach to healing. I know I can always count on him for the best care.

Dr. Smith was friendly, thoughtful and very action oriented. He referred me to an excellent doctor for follow up. The first doctor I saw about this issue immediately wanted to try a spinal injection without a clear explanation as to why. Dr. Smith is going step by step to locate a solution.
