I have been a client here for a few years now. My broker retired from here and since then service has drastically declined. Since my previous broker retired (1-2 years ago) I have gotten a new broker three times as staff don't stay. I also have never been informed of any broker change so I barely know with whom I'm supposed to do business. My biggest complaint is now they are unable to contact you back. I called my current broker on March 12 and left a message as they were on the phone. It was also a Friday and they close early so I was fine with getting a call the next week. However I did not receive a call, or an email, or any other communication that said my voicemail was received. I called again on March 26. I left another voicemail as my broker was away for the day. Again, I was expecting a call the next week. The days went by again until I called again on April 1. My broker was on the phone so I asked if anyone else was available as now almost a month had gone by. The receptionist took a message and shortly after I received a call from a different broker. We had a conversation and all was good. I missed a call later in the day from that broker as I was driving but they sent me an email with the information. I responded to that email and have not heard anything else. It is now the middle of May. Thankfully I'm currently not calling about an accident or a claim. I'm seriously considering and beginning to look into taking my business elsewhere.

I feel obliged to write this review! I was with Bill Kavluk Ins. for many years and insured with Wawanesa for over 15+yrs. Then Clarke-slighte took over my policy when Bill Kavluk retired. I thought to leave but decided to give them a chance! Today, we have decided to cancel the homeowners and auto policies because 1st it was a broker error at last years renewal. My payment was not submitted to Wawanesa! Wtf!!! But, I let that slide. And now, my premiums have increased! Strange cause I've never had any auto tickets, accidents or any homeowner claims etc and today...my homeowners went up $300 this year. Based on this experience, I have cancelled everything! How do u justify policy increases when u think about what kind of overhead does Clarke-Slighte have running a business out of the house! Price gouging a loyal client??! Uhmmm...NO!  You're fired!!!

I recently changed brokers, so to have them closer to my house, That was a very bad move , there is a broker ruby the worst person to deal with very rude and no communication skills I my opinion, she single handed and quite possibly ruined the company Aviva ive had for 23 year because of the perception she relayed to the insc. company Im now going through the ombudsman to resolve this . All I can say is don't use Clarke slight insc. brokers for anything that you need done unless you like to be really confused and don't need anything in a timely matter Paul the owner is nice but can run a company on one nice person. Sorry Guys you get a Big thumbs down

I called Clarke-Slighte for auto insurance hoping to beat my pending renewal instead of blindly accepting what my insurer mailed. The broker, Ruby, took the time to review my policy, explained in detail the process and to my surprise, advised me to stay with my current insurer due to an accident on my file some three years ago. I had completely forgotten about the accident so I said it was an error. I called my insurer, found out it was true. OUCH! Long story short, I appreciate the attention and the education Ruby provided and I look forward to dealing with her in the future. If you are looking for more than a quote, give Clarke-Slighte a chance.

After carefully looking into a variety of broker agencies to represent me as a client I found Clarke- Slighte Insurance.I am greatly satisfied with their services. My New broker R. Slighte has been non stop around the clock to answer any questions I had about insurance policies. Also he has provided me with the best insurance policy price possible. One of my favorite things about him is he always returns my calls within a twenty four hour frame. Another thing that I like about Clarke- Slighte Insurance is that each representative is dedicated to servicing their clients and their needs.

Called Clarke-Slighte in order ask some questions about a policy. I was connected with Ruby. She was incredibly condescending and unnecessarily rude. If she was unable to answer my questions she could have let me know politely, but instead decide to answer in a manner that was unappreciated, especially since I was very polite with her. If this is the customer service given at this brokerage then I would warn you to stay away from it, especially since it took me 3 calls and 1 email (which she did not even answer to) to connect with a broker in the first place. Shoppers beware.

If there was a choice of ZERO stars I would choose it. I was trying to cancel a policy and want to know how much I need to pay as penalty before I proceed to cancel, but was ignored for 2 days and counting. Now it's the weekend and I will not be able to speak with anyone until Monday. I cannot believe how poor the service is. Stay away. Try to negotiate directly for insurance or try a different brokerage. It saved me over $800 for one car and $700 for a home.

I have been insured through C-S for over 2 decades. Through that time I have worked with some very knowledgeable and nice brokers.....Mike Somers, Pat Sutherland and now Ruby Thomas. As with her predecessors Ruby has always provided me with timely quality service and I am happy that she is working on my account. In fact 2 of my kids now have their policies through C-S. I would fully recommend Ruby as a broker to anyone out there

Stay away from Robert. We used to have policies with his dad for years, no problem. Then his dad retired and Robert is in charge. He never responds, he even lie to us saying he include my business in a policy and when we had to renew it we realized we where never insured, and we paid for it. I am now trying to cancel both of my policies for more than a month and he has not do it.

Ruby Thomas was extremely helpful with getting me setup with commercial insurance. Not only did she save me a ton of money with my policy, she was very professional and understanding; and would respond immediately when I called or left an email. I would definitely recommend giving Ruby a call for all you insurance needs! She and her colleagues are absolutely amazing!!

Horrible customer service. Called asking for a quote and the woman said she will get back to me and never did, it's been a week. I've called many times to follow up. I am fine taking my business elsewhere its their loss. If they are this unresponsive I wouldn't want them as my insurance broker anyways!
