I bought black flats from Clarks. I tried them on in store and they felt a bit tight around my bunions. I was told by an associate that they would stretch and that if I had any trouble with them that I could just return them. After wearing them once (for maybe 20 minutes on my way to work and then switched at my desk) my bunions were extremely sore so I decided to return them. I went to Clarks at the Surry Quays shopping centre and spoke with the manager (she was a white middle aged slightly overweight woman with dark hair) and she would not let me return them because I had worn them. The shoes are in excellent condition, in the original box, within the allotted time period for return and I had the receipt. Beyond that, she was extremely rude and unhelpful. She wanted to write her name and number on my receipt so that if I tried to return it elsewhere they would know that I had clearly been unsuccessful with her. I was also in the store to buy another pair of shoes which after my interaction with her I didn't through go through with. I've bought clarks all my life as I have complicated feet and they are one of the few brands that work for me. After this experience I don't ever want to frequent a clarks store again.
I usually have a good experience with Clarks but not this time at Surrey Quays branch. We just left a comment about shoe sizes that seem to be different from brand to brand and then apparently it made the salesperson upset and he started to lecture us with a bit of anger that Clarks is a Company and the UK is a country and bla bla bla... it was humiliating to some extent especially that he already knew were not from the UK. I felt uncomfortable and it was really disappointing. Even when I called the branch to speak to the guy, he was still in the same shoes saying he was just answering the question that we never actually asked. Mentioning many times that his reaction made us feel uncomfortable in front of everyone else in the shop, a slight sort of apologies or sympathy would have been helpful and kinda expected from a company like Clarks, and just said he would change his approach in the future maybe just to hang up the phone. Also, he seemed to be a bit upset when we were asking about the shoes in EU size. Very disappointing and surprising from Clarks., perhaps the management needs to be pickier about the staff they put on shops during pick time. Not a good shop we had today at the branch..
Just before entering the shop I was thinking to myself that I’m so lucky have a Clark’s near my home but that feeling didn’t last long. I was about to get in and while I was just on the door way the female shop keeper started to close the door on my head, even if she didn’t let the door down fully, she could have the curtesy to say excuse me. Also, my daughter was on the trolley and some shops allowed us to bring the shopping in, I truly appreciate the rules and I understand if it’s not allowed inside, but the same woman said on my face ‘ please can u leave the trolley outside FOR HEAVENS SAKE!!!’ I was honestly very hurt at this behavior. I lost all my interest in buying a shoe and I left.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A very good selection of kids shoes, and friendly measuring process for children. The shop is small but they stock many different sizes and styles. I find that weekday evenings an hour or so before closing times of the shoppin centre to be best for shopping, particularly with kids. Weekend may be busy, particularly during sales period. I have also used the online ordering for collection in this store and it is always handled well and efficiently.
This shop refuses to take any returns for online orders despite Clarks' website saying that you can return product to any physical store. The staff of this store said "They don't have enough space in the back" which is a poor excuse. I had to travel over 1.5h to this store and waste money on transport just to be told that they don't take any online returns and that they basically go against official Clarks Terms&Conditions for online orders.
If you need a good pair of durable shoes and bags this is the place for you. Here quality is not compromised, you get value for money. They've got range of shoes for male, female and kids as well. The service in this particular shop is good, the environment is cool and the shop is well stocked. You can get very comfortable shoes for adults here but not trendy and high fashion shoes.
Not a very large store but has a good selection of footwear and other items for both adults and kids. I went to see if I could exchange the boots I purchased online for a larger size. I could which was fantastic. They had the same boots in the size I required and it was great that I didn't have repurchase online. I would definitely recommend this store. The assistant was ao helpful.
Good game and games are fun games because I have a game that is a powerful fire type starter game play games on the games that you have game and play computer games and play computer play football game play and play games on the games and games are the most games I've played in games and I have no idea what I have played.
I own a few pairs of Clarks shoes. They price there shoes in the lower to middle price bracket, and appear reasonable for the prices. This particular store is not overly different to other Clarks stores, though the staff did their best to help me out. If your after casual to semi-dress shoes, check the place out.
It's okay. 2 stars because I used to be able to get find great deals from this shop. No longer the case. The selection of shoes are pretty limited and the price isn't too tempting for me to purchase. You can get more choices at a cheaper price somewhere else. They need to step up.
Nice shop with very polite and helpful staff. The best thing is as long has you know your fit, you can order online and pick up in store instead of waiting for home delivery. The online process is very simple and straight forward.
Rude young female attendant. They are supposed to close at 7 pm. I arrived at 630pm and the shutters were part way down and I was told by this girl they are closing in 10 min. No way to treat customers!!!
I went into this store a few days ago. The service and wide range of shoes are really good. I would happily visit again. The staff are always polite, professional and helpful.
Very helpful sales assistant. Shoes I was interested in wasn't available in store, so she ordered them so I could make up my mind, if I wanted them or not
Staff tried really hard to help me but there is just not enough inclusivity in the brand. More size option and wide sizes would be great.
I used Clark's most of my life from my shoes for myself and my family this shop is well managed great staff I always happy to use it
Clarkson shoe shop in Surrey Quays shopping centre is what you would expect from any clarks shop, good for kids shoes.
Lovely and helpful staff will make you feel comfortable about changing your shoe size if too big.plenty of choice
The brogue shoes I bought is comfortable and didn't hurt my feet during my shift besides it is new brand new.
Little stock in store however the staff were very kind and helpful to redirect me to their bigger branches
Small shop which has an average choice but possibly not the whole collection. Staff is nice.
