I recently had a disappointing experience at this coffee shop. When I received my coffee, I noticed that the cup had green deposits on it and had not been properly cleaned. When I brought this to the attention of the staff (a girl and a guy), I was surprised by their lack of concern. They simply poured the coffee into another paper cup without offering an apology or any other gesture of goodwill. To make matters worse, my partner's coffee cup also had lipstick marks on it, which was extremely concerning. This indicates that the lack of cleanliness and hygiene is a recurring issue at this establishment. As someone who values cleanliness and hygiene, this experience left us both feeling very uncomfortable. We were disappointed that the staff did not take our concern seriously and did not seem to understand the severity of the situation. The fact that they did not offer an apology or any kind of compensation only made matters worse. At the very least make me another coffee :-( Overall, I would not recommend this coffee shop to anyone. The lack of attention to cleanliness and customer service is unacceptable and I will never be returning.

I noticed one of their staff is quite rude, she was very dismissive when I asked two questions: 1) Was your cookie freshly baked, she said "yup" (even though it wasn't as it tasted stale once I took a bite of it). 2) And when she served me the coffee, I asked if she had a sleeve for it because it was hot, and she said "nope, our cups are double layered". I responded saying well I can still feel the heat from it; she looked at me and walked away. Mind you, the cafe was not busy (I was the only one inside and no one was outside placing their order), so not sure why she behaved that way. Giving this café a 2 star because my husband said the coffee is good and there was an older gentleman who made the coffee who was nice; I wish it was him who served it to me because my experience would've been much better.

Claudia's coffee is a family favourite! The coffee and espresso are both rich and delicious. The chai tea is warm and inviting. The employees are kind, considerate and knowledgeable about their products. They have alternative milk options; coconut, oat, unsweetened almond, unsweetened soy and one other I seem to have forgotten. There are delicious snacks to choose from, including gluten free options. They have environmentally responsible and recyclable products and containers. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. There are plenty of tables and seats to sit at as well.

A nice place for an afternoon or morning coffee and a good selection of snacks and sandwiches. Was there yesterday, maybe it was the rain and people were looking for a place to sit and gab or play on the internet but it was packed with some 30 people.Sat for about an hour, had a blueberry muffin and large latte,$10.Normal cost in a Junction neighborhood coffee shop where a nice Starbucks location didn't last.Shows people support independent shops in my neighborhood.People have good taste around here.Come by sometime..

Great outdoor seating for people watching in the Junction - sunny Saturday morning with one of Claudia’s coffees and a newspaper is just about a perfect scenario. And of course the coffee is good. Very good. Interior seating in large open room available for inclement days too. The usual bakery treats accompany well pulled espresso drinks. The photos of The Azores don’t go in noticed on the wall! Suspect an Azorean connection ( please can you get Gorreana Tea imported???) Washrooms in basement, no wheelchair access

Consistently great drip coffee and espresso beverages, one of the last remaining gems in the neighborhood following the closure of Lit and change of ownership at Golden Gecko. Nice sitting area, great ambience and convenient take-out through side window. I highly recommend during your next visit to The Junction!

Save your money for a higher quality shop that actually knows how to make drinks. The food here is disappointing and we ended up taking a single sip before leaving both drinks to be disposed of. It seems this shop has changed owners in the past year or two, the owner would be doing himself a favour to : 1. Visit other local coffee shops to learn how a good drink should taste 2. Not be hostile and defensive when asked a simple request, like adding a bit more milk to a drink.

I love a good coffee shop and the coffee and muffin I got were incredible. Would I go back? No. As a disabled person, it's inaccessible for my wheelchair using pals. The stairs both into the shop and leading DOWNSTAIRS to a bathroom are wildly uneven and not safe for me to think about experiencing again. Cute place, great people. Not fully inclusive.

The Last Time I went there, to get coffee before my afternoon class, the person that served me was kind and chill, and I could tell that the coffee was fresh. But the only problem is that a small cold - brew coffee was 5 bucks. Tim Horton's tends to have at 3. But I highly prefer Claudia's Coffee than Tim's (especially for the service, better than Tim Horton's by a long shot.

The staff were so incredibly friendly - their kindness is worth coming back for! However, their coffee was SO amazing. I personally like a sweet coffee, and the barista made me a delicious latte with vanilla syrup. It was the absolute perfect amount of sweetness and the coffee flavour complimented it so well. Definitely a local business I would come back and support.

Claudia's is my favourite coffee shop in Toronto. Amazing atmosphere, great coffee, good music, trendy location and reasonable prices. There is just something about the space. The high ceilings, wooden floors and big windows coupled with the vibe and location make it a really special spot. Love coming here.

I've only visited once, but this seems like a great little cafe. There is free WiFi, a bunch of seating, and a good variety of baked goods and drinks, including pour over coffee and milk alternatives. Two separate washrooms (not gendered) are located downstairs - despite the signs asking you to return the key afterward, you don't need a key to access them.

stopped in here for the lattes (hazelnut and gingerbread) and got a muffin (gingerbread) they were great! it was SO QUIET in here tho, a real like good study/workspace but for me a cafe should be less like a library ...

Paid $8.90 for a Macha lemonade(price wasn't displayed),and was told I'm not allowed to eat a salad bowl I got from across the street. There was a heat warning advisory in effect. Rude, overpriced and mediocre.

My favourite little local coffee shop! I love the side window because I can walk over with my pup and treat myself to a tasty breakfast sandwich and a great coffee and sit on there side patio! The iced lattes are also amazing!! There is also a very friendly girl with glasses that works most mornings, she is lovely!

  • Niki Tisza

The coffee was ok, it might be a bit too dark-roasted for my liking. Service was quick, but I felt the staff was unwelcoming and unfriendly, especially the young woman working on the day. The place is so quiet, it’s good to get work done (like you’d do in a library). But it’s not great for a group conversation.

Rustic beauty in the heart of the junction. Beautiful interior design from the door to the flooring. Nice spacious seating for studying or just relaxing. Coffee and service was great. They also have a great patio and a side window if you want to order without going inside which I think is convenient.

  • Bashir Patel

This has been my go to coffee place even before the Pandemic because everything is spot on: the friendly service, the baked goodies and, of course, the perfect coffee. Great patio, too!! Keep up the great work team!! (You know who you are!!)

Under new ownership, Claudia's continues to be my favorite coffee shop in Toronto. Excellent espresso, a wide variety of beans and great baked goods / food. Recently renovated, a bright space with outdoor patio and lovely staff. The Echo espresso is stand out in a machine or as a drip coffee.

Great pet-friendly location with good coffee and good customer service. I ordered a chocolate croissant, but unfortunately, it did not feel fresh :( However, I will keep visiting this place as they have so many options for food and beverages that seems like worth trying them all …

Coffee was okay, I got a hazelnut mocha and it was pretty good, two coffees plus tip came to about $10, indoor seating was cute and there's a small patio to sit at. Took a few minutes to place the order as the staff were busy making orders. Not sure if I'd return or not.

  • Alex Bernyck

Great coffee and convenient location! I got a peppermint mocha, which wasn't overly sweet (I find most places make them too sweet for my taste, but this one was perfect) and still had all the holiday flavours I was looking for. Staff are always efficient and friendly.

I have tried their coffee, cappuccino, expresso a number of times hoping it would get better. I give up. These beverages are the very worst I have ever ever ever experienced. These are like poison. Do the community a favour and shutdown.

  • Maria Velve

Wonderful espresso drink options, teas and pastries. Staff are always friendly and despite recent ownership and name change, the quality of this establishment hasn’t changed. Definitely one to check out if you’re in the neighbourhood!

  • Anusree Roy

This place is fantastic. Their products are delicious and well made, but more importantly their staff is phenomenal. I was served by a young gentleman today (didn't get to catch his name), who went above and beyond. Thank you so much!

Attendant always pleasant and smiling , aleays early; recognizes many regulars by name, suggestive selling and keeping the patio in top shape ( watering and vrooming) and to sum it all up “awesome coffee.

  • Petar Ivkovic

Great coffee still!! Apparently, there's been a change of ownership and a rebranding from Crema to Claudia's Coffee, but the staff, the service and the coffee are still the same and overall, very good.

  • Robin Pueyo

These days we're taking each week a walk out in the neighborhood and can't stop to have our chaï lattes and/or London fogs from Claudia's coffee! Special mention to the cakes, they are delicious.
